Listing the hour by hour guests/topics is great. People can choose which hour to download and it saves time for the user and bandwidth for the host. Win-win.

I've put advertising up on my site but it just makes small change - about 1/25 of hosting cost or less. I noticed chip ins and donate widgets do much better on other sites. If Chakra makes a widget I'd be happy to host it. Also widgets for other good causes like We Are Change groups. They would be a good replacement for useless advertising.

Chakra's did some last week but I guess it's time consuming. Unfortunately, I'm lucky to listen to the show a couple of times a week at the moment because of work and relationships.

I didn't have time yesterday to preview and list the hours off.... I'll try to add that to today's show.

I thought I'd try and reach another area...I decided to make my own version today since I saw a higher bitrate source available.

Alex Jones Show Enhanced Edition 10/27/2008 up on the newsgroups. It has all the usual features you're used to getting in my .mp3 releases. These features are listed in my signature.

You need Usenet access to download this. If requested, I can get this to you another way (ftp or similar). Just PM me.

Oh and BTW, I don't have show listing by the hour, but I do have guest pictures relevant to the guest in that hour. They will display in Windows Media Player and WinAmp quite nicely. Windows Media Player will also display the show description for you.

FYI, they have been doing that since July 22nd, which, ironically, was right after I stopped posting the Alex Jones Show Enhanced mp3s (my last one, aside from yesterday's, was July 18th). I guess one day off was all they needed to pay attention and get their act in gear.

I thought I heard Alex mention something about it on the show, but since I haven't visited PP.tv much for a while, I never really took notice.

Looks like the money bomb paid off...now some of their IT staff are doing what we had provided as a free service for a while. That's what I love about this movement. You knock one of us down, and others rise to take their place!!!

At any rate, I can still see the value of splitting the .mp3 into hourly segments, adding tags and normalizing the audio levels. But it will be a heck of a lot easier now!

Oh and BTW Chakra, the source files are about 80+ meg for the commercial free stream, so it's better than what we were using before.

Some of the files have been posted to http://tracker.conspiracycentral.net, so you can do a search for Alex Jones and get them there.

I plan to be posting the audio to the Usenet, Chakra has a good thing going with torrents, and we need to expand out into YouTube, audio streaming, Rapidshare and other file sharing services again in order to obtain maximum exposure. Any volunteers?

Maybe they are doing a manual audio copy through some equipment, and it is adding some background noise.
