Yeah, I had written them off after their Lindsay Williams interview, but listened because I had heard about Alex being on there. I was shocked, shocked I say that they did not try to rip him apart. They tried to be funny at first, but gave up when they realized they couldn't shake him, so then they just engaged him, hoping to debunk something, anything that he said. I think one reason why they did not try to rip him apart was the fact that he has an XM show, and they may not have been allowed to because they are on the XM side of Sirius. But I'll gladly take that if it opens eyes. and exposes ppl to what Alex had to say. I didn't like Alex's example of a straw man argument, but hey, ya can't win ‘em all! I did note at the end of the debate that Opie and Anthony said something about not being the same guy he is on the show. Which tells me that maybe they do kind of believe what Alex had to say, they just can’t publicly subscribe to it, because of the dick joke personas they have created over the years. Stern and other jocks have reinvented themselves over the years, so I’m not sure why they are afraid to try it, I guess the lure of big money is just too hard to resist. I know I’d have a hard time resisting it.

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

I couldn't listen past the first few minutes of the Lindsay Williams interview. They were being such asses. It was embarrassing. No respect at all. The whistle thing was really juvenile.

Listening now - Alex pwned! Awesome job - he's got the facts; hard for them to argue when Alex is clearly informed and has the documentation. Excellent!

I'm listening to them now life, and they were griping about 'crybaby conspiracy theorists' who apparently gave them a hard tiem on twitter who were bitching about how Alex was treated. All in all, Alex was treated pretty good in comparison to how other people have been treated in the past. Anybody who did gripe about that IS a f**king crybaby, and are only making us look bad.

That's true. Alex was treated with as much respect as those guys can muster. Even Jimmy was very low key compared to his normal, pit bull with tourettes, self. I listen to Opie and Anthony off and on and they are very funny at times. Have you seen the Jesse Ventura vid? Jimmy was a real ass to him. All in all their attitude towards any concept that is not wholly endorsed by the mainstream is hostile in the extreme.

Fantastic listen....I'm embarrassed for opie, anthony and especially jimmy.
They for like two hours actually heard what a truly talented radio show host acts, they sounded intimidated at times too, cause they knew they couldn't say much aganist him.
none of those guys could talk at the level Alex does...i doubt they could talk about sports or even lesbian sex to the level Alex can convey thoughts...they even made fun of Alex's preparation and use of notes they were so bitterly clueless, and kinda classless of them considering the prep work and notes all radio show hosts have.
It felt like an XM deal tho....like XM told opie and anthony to have alex on and plug his new xm show and Alex was to do a rundown of his work from the beginning to now. Thats why the hosts were "forced" to behave.
I can see then why alex is moving to 3 hour show again cause...its way easier to get syndication with that length.

Hostile to the extreme that we see, but as they suggested, thats in the public eye. They may subscribe to these ideas for all we really know, as they tend to be characatures of themselves on the show. Of course, subscribing to these ideas, and lambasting anybody who comes on the show with their radio persona's, thats a disservice to us as a whole. So you can't really call that a win at all. But at least Alex was able ot get on there, and get his message across unhindered. THAT is a win.

Alex impressed the heck out of me in this interview. He was like a supercomputer of truth. The amount of information he covered in such a coherent and fluid style was amazing. This is a great interview to put on CD and pass around.

the first like 2 maybe 3 parts to it...gold until Jimmy blows it by acting like he didn't just get half his questions/answers handed to him prior.

Oh you can bet they had their interns and stunt dummies googling like crazy as Alex spoke trying to find a chink in the armor so to speak.
