Well it looks like there may be some huge fireworks on the 4th of July this year.. Angry

Congress Just Declared Preemptive War on Iran
By admin– July 1, 2010

Activist Post – War with Iran has already been decided by the powers that be and the modern-day quasi-declaration happened last Thursday.  Using the same legislative and propaganda playbook that led to the Iraq War, the U.S. Government has just officially declared War on Iran.  Reuters reported “Congress on Thursday approved tough new unilateral sanctions aimed at squeezing Iran’s energy and banking sectors, which could also hurt companies from other countries doing business with Tehran. The House of Representatives passed the bill 408-8 and sent it to President Barack Obama for signing into law. The Senate had approved it 99-0 earlier in the day.”

Congress hasn’t officially voted for a Declaration of War since World War II.  In modern times they use creative wording in bills that authorize the broad use of force across borders in the sweeping “War on Terror.”  The Bush Doctrine of preemptively attacking countries because they may pose a threat to America in the future was universally trashed by progressives, but is alive and well under Obama, the Prince of Peace, without one dissenting vote in the Senate.  This authority is what the Obama Administration claims also gives them the legal argument to bomb sovereign countries like Pakistan.

This unilateral decision by the United States Congress comes on the heels of a 12-2 U.N. Security Council vote on June 8th to impose a “modest tightening of sanctions” against Iran. Of course, Russia and China have been assured that sanctions won’t apply to their energy needs in order to secure their votes. After the vote President Obama asserted that, “these sanctions do not close the door on diplomacy.”

However, the United States preempted this embargo vote in Congress by taking up an aggressive posture in tandem with Israel by deploying an Armada of Battleships to the Red Sea.  There are now reports from the Israeli National News that, “The Israeli Air Force recently unloaded military equipment at a Saudi Arabia base, a semi-official Iranian news agency claimed Wednesday, while a large American force has massed in Azerbaijan, which is on the northwest border of Iran.”

Now, it seems that the United States is working overtime to sell their war plans to potential allies.  CIA chief, Leon Panetta appeared on ABC’s This Week and announced that the Iranians, “have enough low-enriched uranium right now for two weapons. They do have to enrich it, fully, in order to get there. And we would estimate that if they made that decision, it would probably take a year to get there, probably another year to develop the kind of weapon delivery system in order to make that viable.”

While world leaders negotiate their piece of the Iranian pie in G8 negotiations, the multinational fear campaign has begun. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Sunday that a CIA warning that Iran has enough uranium to build two atomic bombs was “worrying,” and criticized Tehran’s secrecy over its nuclear program.  Gathered at the G8 Summit in Ottawa, world leaders now “fully believe” and are “worried” that a preemptive attack by Israel on Iran is inevitable.  Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi told reporters that “Iran is not guaranteeing a peaceful production of nuclear power [so] the members of the G8 are worried and believe absolutely that Israel will probably react preemptively.”

Enforcing an unprovoked embargo on a sovereign nation has been historically defined as an act of war.  Unfortunately, very few of our elected officials know or understand history and therefore overwhelmingly voted for the new sanctions.  Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), an outspoken critic of Iran sanctions, was one of the eight house members to vote against the measure.  Here is Ron Paul from a few months ago comparing sanctions to an Act of War while discussing this bill; H.R. 2194 Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010

The Bush-Obama Doctrine is the rule of tyrants.  Clearly it looks like Israel and America are determined to preemptively strike Iran even though Iran has always maintained that their nuclear program is for peaceful energy production only. America has once again engaged in an Act of War on a sovereign nation that has not harmed, or even threatened to harm her.  Iran’s biggest crime appears to be sitting on a sea of crude at a time when oil-thirsty Neo-cons, who penned the Doctrine, rule the world.  The coming war with Iran will not be pretty.

Obama's Contribution to Peace: Congress Declares War on Iran?

Obama DOCTRINE: Congress Just Declared Preemptive WAR On Iran ... War with Iran has already been decided by the powers that be and the modern-day quasi-declaration happened last Thursday. Using the same legislative and propaganda playbook that led to the Iraq War, the U.S. Government has just officially declared War on Iran.

Reuters reported "Congress on Thursday approved tough new unilateral sanctions aimed at squeezing Iran's energy and banking sectors, which could also hurt companies from other countries doing business with Tehran. The House of Representatives passed the bill 408-8 and sent it to President Barack Obama (left) for signing into law. The Senate had approved it 99-0 earlier in the day." Congress hasn't officially voted for a Declaration of War since World War II. In modern times they use creative wording in bills that authorize the broad use of force across borders in the sweeping "War on Terror." The Bush Doctrine of preemptively attacking countries because they may pose a threat to America in the future was universally trashed by progressives, but is alive and well under Obama, the Prince of Peace, without one dissenting vote in the Senate. This authority is what the Obama Administration claims also gives them the legal argument to bomb sovereign countries like Pakistan. - Before It's News

Dominant Social Theme: Don't look at the man behind the curtain. He's holding a gun, but he doesn't exist.

Free-Market Analysis: We write a lot about the alternative press, but when it comes to analyzing the dominant social themes of the power elite, we try to take excerpts from mainstream publications to show how these fear-based memes are disseminated and the ways the are positioned by the elite-controlled media for maximum impact.

But sometimes, as in this case, using an excerpt from an alternative news sources points up another salient factor about power elite themes - what is left unsaid is often as important as what is reported. In this case, the alternative website Before It's News makes a good argument that the US is actually already at war with Iran and that the West is simply in a transitional military phase prior to beginning the shooting and bombing.

We have actually written about this ourselves, pointing out in the past that the Draconian sanctions on Japan prior to World War II induced the Japanese to attack the United States. Sanctions, in fact, are indeed a kind of warfare because they take state power - and the threat of state violence - to enforce. Here's some more from the article:

This unilateral decision by the United States Congress comes on the heels of a 12-2 U.N. Security Council vote on June 8th to impose a "modest tightening of sanctions" against Iran. Of course, Russia and China have been assured that sanctions won't apply to their energy needs in order to secure their votes. After the vote President Obama asserted that, "these sanctions do not close the door on diplomacy."

However, the United States preempted this embargo vote in Congress by taking up an aggressive posture in tandem with Israel by deploying an Armada of Battleships to the Red Sea. There are now reports from the Israeli National News that, "The Israeli Air Force recently unloaded military equipment at a Saudi Arabia base, a semi-official Iranian news agency claimed Wednesday, while a large American force has massed in Azerbaijan, which is on the northwest border of Iran."

Now, it seems that the United States is working overtime to sell their war plans to potential allies. CIA chief, Leon Panetta appeared on ABC's This Week and announced that the Iranians, "have enough low-enriched uranium right now for two weapons. They do have to enrich it, fully, in order to get there. And we would estimate that if they made that decision, it would probably take a year to get there, probably another year to develop the kind of weapon delivery system in order to make that viable."

While world leaders negotiate their piece of the Iranian pie in G8 negotiations, the multi-nation fear campaign has begun. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Sunday that a CIA warning that Iran has enough uranium to build two atomic bombs was "worrying," and criticized Tehran's secrecy over its nuclear program.

This is excellent analysis, pulling together a number of news strands to provide "the big picture" about what is going on. But where's the mainstream reporting? Why wouldn't the mainstream press want to cover such a military build up as prelude to the biggest war the West has waged since World War II? Is it because the idea likely is to provoke Iran into a military move of some sort? Perhaps the West's military planners do not want publicity because it begins to look as if the West, especially US and Israel, are in some sense the agressors.

Yup, they will attempt to interdict a ship or some ships.  Iranians will resist and this wil be used to start off the real  shooting match where they fly hundreds of sorties over Iran destroying everything thay can possibly claim is of strategic value (and, of course, some victims of collateral damage).

This non-sense could start at any time now.

If the Iranians don't put up resistance at first, they will just keep doing it until they do.  They have the ability right now to start hostilities at any time they want.

I've tried warning all of my closest friends in America about this impending war for at least two years now, and half of them responded by calling me an anti-semite for my troubles.  I just thought as they still lived in the land of the free, they might want to concern themselves with the potential blow-back of this long-planned attack on a peaceful country.

Can you say, "artificial scarcity"?  Chaa-ching!  And that is just for starters.

A third world war or something very much like it is the entree.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Congress on Thursday approved tough new unilateral sanctions aimed at squeezing Iran's energy and banking sectors, which could also hurt companies from other countries doing business with Tehran.

Politics

The House of Representatives passed the bill 408-8 and sent it to President Barack Obama for signing into law. The Senate had approved it 99-0 earlier in the day.

Congress wants to pressure Tehran into curbing its nuclear program, which Washington suspects is aimed at making a bomb.

U.S. lawmakers from both parties have been pushing for months to tighten U.S. sanctions on Iran. At the Obama administration's request, they held off until the U.N. Security Council and the European Union agreed on new multilateral sanctions. But the lawmakers then declared that still tougher measures were needed.

"The U.N. sanctions, though a good first step, are quite tepid. And they are tepid because there are other members of the Security Council who want to keep doing that business with Iran. ... The United States ... has to pass these unilateral sanctions," Democratic Senator Barbara Mikulski said.

The bill penalizes companies supplying Iran with gasoline as well as international banking institutions involved with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, its nuclear program or what Washington calls its support for terrorist activity.

It would effectively deprive foreign banks of access to the U.S. financial system if they do business with key Iranian banks or the Revolutionary Guards.

Such banks would be "shut out of the U.S. financial system," said the bill's House author, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Howard Berman. He is a Democrat.

Global suppliers of gasoline to Iran could also face bans on access to the U.S. banking system, property transactions and foreign exchange in the United States. Iran depends on gasoline imports because it has insufficient refining capacity.

POSING A CHOICE

"Because of this legislation, we will be posing a choice to companies around the world. Do you want to do business with Iran, or do you want to do business with the United States?" Republican Senator John McCain said during Senate debate.

U.S. companies are already prohibited from doing business with Iran. Foreign companies with big investments in Iran's energy sector also can be sanctioned under current U.S. law. But many U.S. lawmakers say this has not been enforced.

Some companies worldwide, such as Italy's oil and gas company Eni and French energy giant Total have been backing away from business with Tehran amid the U.S. drive to isolate Iran.

But other companies are still in business with Iran or considering it. Russia's Gazprom says it is interested in developing the Azar oil field, and industry sources say China has been selling gasoline to Iran.

PRESIDENTIAL WAIVER

The Obama administration failed to get U.S. lawmakers to make blanket exemptions for countries that are cooperating with multilateral efforts to isolate Iran.

The legislation only allows the president to waive the new sanctions on companies from "cooperating" countries on a case-by-case basis, for 12 months.

But even this waiver was too lenient for some House Republicans, who worried Obama will use it.

"The many companies from China and elsewhere, rapidly building Iran's energy facilities today, will be surely exempted from these sanctions," said Representative Ed Royce. He said he would nonetheless vote for the bill.

Russia and China, which have strong economic ties with Tehran and have at times resisted sanctions, supported recent U.N. sanctions. But they fought U.S. efforts to approve tougher measures targeting Iran's energy sector.

Yep - the responses I get are "Why do you waste your time on the internet too much?". My responses to them are, "If you get all your news from CNN, FOX News, and the NY Times, then Shame on You!".

And for that matter too - you would think THE place to hear more about this would be inside the church walls, right? Not!(as much as I hate to say it) - one time I tried telling my pastor over how there are reports of the 3rd Temple being built potentially this year in Jeruselum. For the most part, he's a very nice guy who listens to ANYTHING - however, he responded rather coldly and rudely with this instance. So it's probably a waste of time to tell him all the events that are leading up to this very imminent war.

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

I wouldn't doubt anything at this point in time in history.

Obama thinks of himself as "Franklin Delano Roosevelt" anyway.

If a war breaks out in Iran God forbid, watch out for Obama to "ask for term limits be lifted" just like Franklin Delano Roosevelt too.

Well the title is jumping ahead a bit, but these sanctions appear to be essentially an act of war..

They'll get their "resolution" out of congress after some IRGC's take some pot shots at us when we interdict their vessels.  It's as simple as that.

There won't be any "declaration".  These sanctions, the tightest we can get unilaterally are as close as we are ever going to get to a "declaration", so the title stands IMO.

You could call the iminent "resolution" the "real" declaration", but that is largely a matter of semantics.  In hindsight, these sanctions could very well be seen as the trigger that set off the powder-keg.

Speaking of the Illuminati telegraphing their punches via the mass media before they do something(ie-like they did with 9/11).........

Speaking of the recent Twilight movies nonsense over the last 3 years...

Twilight...New Moon...Eclipse...coincidence that on 7/11, there will be a New Moon AND a Partial Solar Eclipse? And now it looks like this much-buzzed about Iran strike is now officially inevitable?(after 2 years of rumors and beating around the bush?)

Any chance that the llluminati had plans all along to use 7/11 as the target date, and warned us through the film titles of these recent draconian vampire romance movies aimed at younger audiences?

That is WILD, America2!

I was just thinking that TODAY! I just saw "The Crazies".  It was based on a chemtrail plane falling in a lake and poisioning a town!

Of course, 99%+ who watched the movie would have NO CLUE what a chemtrail is!

Yeah, the Illuminati are just playing with us right now!
