WeAreChange and InfoWars Reporters Banned from Canada
http://alexjones101.blogspot.com/2010/06/wearechange-and-infowars-reporters.html

WeAreChange nyc was denied entry into Canada and Charles Torres Veitch has been arrested at the G20. 1-416-808-5100 is the number for the Toronto Police, 1-888-446-4047 is the number to the G8-G20 police and for my UK friends 1-416-593-1290 is the number of the UK embassy.

Call them and demand Charles' release.

G20: Activists Arrested, Denied Entry into Canada
http://www.infowars.com/g20-activists-arrested-denied-entry-into-canada/
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
June 25, 2010

Dan Dicks of Press for Truth reports this morning that Charlie Veitch of The Love Police was arrested yesterday in Toronto for refusing to cooperate with the police.

“While using his megaphone to inform the people of Toronto about G20 related issues we were surrounded by police who demanded our identification. When Charlie stated that he wishes to remain anonymous he was immediately detained and placed under arrest. The officer stated that Charlie was being detained under the ‘public works protection act’ for failing to identify himself,” writes Dicks.

Charlie Veitch produces videos of his confrontations with government officials and police. His Love Police blog is popular. Veitch appeared on the Alex Jones Show on May 20, 2010.

“The province has secretly passed an unprecedented regulation that empowers police to arrest anyone near the G20 security zone who refuses to identify themselves or agree to a police search,” the Toronto Star reports today. “The regulation was made under Ontario’s Public Works Protection Act and was not debated in the Legislature. According to a provincial spokesperson, the cabinet action came in response to an ‘extraordinary request’ by Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, who wanted additional policing powers shortly after learning the G20 was coming to Toronto.”

Read Dan’s account of the incident here.

Call the Toronto Police to find out Charlie’s status. The number is: 1-416-808-5100. The G8-G20 has it own police force and they can be reached at: 1-888-446-4047.

We Are Change founder Luke Rudkowski and fellow activists were denied access into Canada. In a telephone interview with Infowars.com, Luke said he was detained for nearly five hours by Homeland Security and Canadian Customs police on the border in Buffalo, New York. Agents went through his car and laptop looking for anything to arrest and detain the activists. After the Canadians denied Luke, Kelly, and Matt entry into the country, Homeland Security on the American side of the border questioned them once again.

In 2006, Alex Jones was detained for 15 hours by Canadian immigration on orders of the Bilderberg Group. “Customs openly told Alex as soon as they brought him into custody that the Bilderberg Group was aware of his arrival and that this was the reason for his detainment. All three members of the team were instantly detained despite going through different immigration desks,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote for Prison Planet on June 8, 2006.

G20 LOVE POLICE CHARLIE VIETCH ARRESTED
PART 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD3lF0ZSgb8
PART 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rq9ruy4WeKM&feature=player_embedded

Written by Dan Dicks
On Thursday June 24 I was joined by Charlie Veitch of The Love Police in downtown Toronto to document the G20 summit. This is Charlie's first time in Canada so we took him on a Toronto G20 tour. While using his megaphone to inform the people of Toronto about G20 related issues we were surrounded by police who demanded our identification. When Charlie stated that he wishes to remain anonymous he was immediately detained and placed under arrest. The officer stated that Charlie was being detained under the "public works protection act" for failing to identify himself.
Meanwhile Luke Rudkowski was detained at the Canadian border and denied access into the country. He has been targeted by the Canadian government because of his work with wearechange.org and infowars.com
Charlie and Luke are true patriots who's tireless efforts have inspired truth seekers worldwide. I am ashamed of the Canadian government and their treatment of these law abiding citizens who's only intentions were to educate the masses and to voice their displeasure about the G20 summit.
To learn more about the works of Luke Rudkowski and Charlie Veitch visit:

8. Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure.

Detention or imprisonment

9. Everyone has the right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned.

Arrest or detention

10. Everyone has the right on arrest or detention

(a) to be informed promptly of the reasons therefor;

(b) to retain and instruct counsel without delay and to be informed of that right; and

(c) to have the validity of the detention determined by way of habeas corpus and to be released if the detention is not lawful.

Yes, I'm actually planing to write a letter next week to the government about the long term danger or selling out to foreign interest and the true value of ideas and convictions versus the greed of fascism.

It would have to be done extremely well with a non-accusing tone, so I am still thinking about the best way to do it.

G20 Intelligence Agents - Home Visit

Notice how nice these agents are acting, notice how they claim to be on your side....

It's to manipulate people to give up their freedom of privacy. Of course no matter how nice they are these home visits are pure intimidation.

They are just grunts for the new world order, nothing more than expendable thugs hopped up on testosterone and power tripping. Its not about anything other than OBEY ME because I AM THE LAW and its all the rules of course, just policy. Do you know who you are working for? Unspeakable horrors, that you gladly align yourself with for greed and power, illusions of grandeur. Its all fun and great while you destroy canada and impose your dystopic police state on top of the country we built here. Dan dicks recent video about the metal cages expressed excellent points. Our bank of canada minister used to work at goldman sachs! He's taking our money and making us pay interest on it for no reason other than to fill private coffers and indebt our children if they "let" us live that long.

What the hell broadcast were you listening to? Did your broadcast have some type of Cass Sunstein filter which projects apathy on top of any voice (dammit, i just gave that nazi Sunstein an idea that will probably get $10 Billion in taxpayer funding)?

He just exposed to over 10 million people world wide the very fact that concentration camps in North America indeed do exist. That the very idea of liberty has been replaced by a bona fide conspiracy by the banking and royal elite (Bilderberg) to initiate a new level of despotism worldwide.

Defeated? He just got out of the Island of Dr. Moreau with enough information to expose the complete fact that these psychopaths are so fricking off the reservation it is not even funny.

He just exposed that this picture is now outdated:

I'm confused...

The Public Works Protection Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.55, Section 3(a) states that a guard or peace officer may require any person entering or attempting to enter any public work or any approach to furnish his or her name and address, to identify himself or herself and to state the purpose for which he or she desires to enter the public work, in writing or otherwise.

Now, as I understand it, the change recently made is regarding the regulations of implementing the law which does not require a vote of any kind... not changing the law itself (since regulations can't do that).  So, when Charles clearly identified himself when asked ("My name is Charlie from the Love Police"), he was in full compliance with the law.

Anyone have a link to or a copy of the newly-implemented regulations?  Am I missing something else here?

You forgot the most damning part of the law, that if it goes to court, they will automatically take the officers word as gold. You don't even get a fair trial if arrested for it.

Jackboot thug- "Papers please."
Citizen protestor- “I’m a citizen, that’s all you need know.”
Jackboot thug- “I said papers please, heed my authority, of you will be arrested!”
Citizen protestor- “Got picked on as a kid didja, love slave of the banksters huh? Tough luck on that, well, when you take it up the ass from the banksters, don’t say we didn’t warn ya.”

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

Truth is never a double edged sword. The only reason they have been able to slowly heat the frog's pot is via deception. They are still hiding the fact that these carbon ponzi nazis assassinated JFK.

MSM news? The alt news is 10x more relevant, trusted, and watched. Everyone is dumping the MSM at light speed. They are desperately trying to maintain some semblence of relevance, but their numbers are dropping fast. Get the info and the interview about the G20 Nazis everywhere.

BTW - Instead of waiting around wondering what the MSM is going to do, make history by calling into C-SPAN now because they are talking about the G20.

Why do you think there is a kill switch now? None of this is a distraction, it is a blitzkrieg. They intend to overwhelm us because they are so desperate now, we knew this was coming so be prepared and stand your ground. I don't know what is comming next but we cannot back down now they are going to throw everything they have at us. Get on your feet, we are soldiers, stand or die.

if we all showed 10% of the courage that Charlie does every day, the East India Trading Company Carbon Ponzi Nazi's would go back into hiding. I mean, wtf, there have to be at least $100 Billion in lawsuits available to deal with the Nazi invasion of Canada by these banksters. How much more obvious does it get. Police Granted 'Special Powers' to Guard 'Fortress Toronto'

by CBC News

New regulations give police right to search anyone near security fence Read more: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/story/2010/06/25/g20-new-powers.html#ixzz0rrtJwaRN

TORONTO - Police forces in charge of security for the G20 in Toronto have been granted special powers for the duration of the summit.

'Don't touch that fence!' The new legislation allows police to search anyone within five metres of the G20 security fence in downtown Toronto (Carolyn Kaster/Associated Press)

The new powers took effect Monday and apply only along the border of the G20 security fence that encircles a portion of the downtown core. This so-called red zone includes the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, where delegates will meet.

The new powers are designed specifically for the G20, CBC's Colin Butler reported Friday.

Ontario's cabinet quietly passed the new rules on June 2 without legislature debate.

Sgt. Tim Burrows of the G8/G20 Integrated Security Unit said the new regulations make parts of the existing Public Works Protection Act apply to the G20 security zone in downtown Toronto.

"The public has nothing to fear with this legislation and the way the police will use this legislation," said Burrows. "It really comes down to a case of common sense and officer discretion. If you're approaching that fence line, we want to know why."

The new powers are in effect on the streets and sidewalks in and around the security fence.

Under the new regulations, anyone who comes within five metres of the security area is obliged to give police their name and state the purpose of their visit.

Police, at their discretion, can deny access to the area and "use whatever force is necessary" to keep people out.

Anyone who refuses to identify themselves or refuses to provide a reason for their visit can be fined up to $500.

The new rules also give police the power to search anyone who approaches the fence.

The regulation also says that if someone has a dispute with an officer and it goes to court "the police officer's statement under oath is considered conclusive evidence under the Act."

The new regulations authorize police to use the powers starting on Monday, June 21 and police will have those powers until Monday, June 28 when the G20 delegates leave town.

Burrows said police have already made "two or three" arrests under the new rules as of Friday morning.

"We're bound by duty to protect the people that are going be within that fence line," said Burrows. "If you refuse to tell us [why you're there], then we have to assume that your purposes are not of a peaceful nature."

'Fortress Toronto' Set for G20

The Canadian city of Toronto has launched a massive security operation as it prepares to host the G20 summit of leaders of the world's largest economies.

Thousands of police are being deployed for the summit with many residents questioning the estimated $1bn cost of the operation.

Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports.

Probably not "full compliance", at least not technically: "to furnish his or her name and address[1], to identify himself or herself[2] and to state the purpose[3]" (there are three aspects to this - although it is no doubt intentionally vague).

Statement under oath to be conclusive evidence

4.For the purposes of this Act, the statement under oath of an officer or employee of the government, board, commission, municipal or other corporation or other person owning, operating or having control of a public work, as to the boundaries of the public work is conclusive evidence thereof. R.S.O. 1990, c. P.55, s. 4.

Refusal to obey guard, etc.

5.(1)Every person who neglects or refuses to comply with a request or direction made under this Act by a guard or peace officer, and every person found upon a public work or any approach thereto without lawful authority, the proof whereof lies on him or her, is guilty of an offence and on conviction is liable to a fine of not more than $500 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than two months, or to both.

Arrest

(2)A guard or peace officer may arrest, without warrant, any person who neglects or refuses to comply with a request or direction of a guard or peace officer, or who is found upon or attempting to enter a public work without lawful authority. R.S.O. 1990, c. P.55, s. 5.

"A Facebook group created after the law became public compared it to Canada's War Measures Act and said it "seriously curtails our rights and freedoms."

NO KIDDING!

"Blair said the regulation was passed under the Ontario Public Works Protection Act that dates back to 1939, and was simply extended to the G-20 security perimeter for one week."

Blair, Toronto police chief, also says -- smuggly as only an arrogant dipship can -- that this change was not kept secret, that all you have to do is Google it. There are two things wrong, here, three actually.

1) There is NOTHING about it in the Ontario Government newsroom: not announcement or press release
2) "Ignorance of the law is no excuse" is utter bullshit because they use that "axiom" to usher in unpopular legislation
3) They simply want to be able to arrest anyone, anytime, anywhere, for anything -- that gives them complete control over everyone

And as with DWI roadbloacks, they can circumvent consistutional protections simply by announcing the fact ahead of time that they intend to do just that.

Hitler is surely at peace in his grave.

Toronto gets ‘secret’ arrest powers ahead of G20 protests

By Daniel Tencer
Friday, June 25th, 2010 -- 3:00 pm
http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0625/toronto-arrest-powers-g20-protests/

TORONTO -- A government changes a law to allow police to arrest people without probable cause. It does so without any legislative debate. Then it keeps the change a virtual secret, until someone is arrested under those new powers.

The Soviet Union circa 1950? Nope. Try Canada, June 2010.

Civil liberties advocates and political activists are up in arms after it emerged Friday that police in Toronto have been given special powers to arrest anyone near the site of the G20 summit if they fail to identify themselves.

What's more, the government of the province of Ontario, which green-lit the new powers, didn't tell anyone about it until after someone was arrested under the new powers.

Thirty-one-year-old Dave Vasey was arrested near the G20 perimeter security fence in downtown Toronto Thursday afternoon after refusing to identify himself to a police officer.

“The officer told me, ‘I am going to have to place you under arrest if you don’t show your identification,’ and I replied ‘I’m not comfortable with that,’” Vasey said, as quoted at the Toronto Star.

With Vasey's arrest, it emerged that Ontario secretly changed its Public Works Protection Act to allow police officers unprecedented powers of arrest. That law allowed police to arrest people if they fail to identify themselves to a police officer when inside a government building or near a "public works" project. It has now been expanded to include the area around the G20 summit, meaning a significant portion of downtown Toronto.

The Toronto Star reports:

The regulation kicked in Monday and will expire June 28, the day after the summit ends. While the new regulation appeared without notice on the province’s e-Laws online database last week, it won’t be officially published in The Ontario Gazette until July 3 — one week after the regulation expires.

According to the new regulation, “guards” appointed under the act can arrest anyone who, in specific areas, comes within five metres of the security zone.

Within those areas, police can demand identification from anyone coming within five metres of the fence perimeter and search them. If they refuse, they face arrest. Anyone convicted under the regulation could also face up to two months in jail or a $500 maximum fine.
Toronto Chief of Police Bill Blair, who reportedly requested the arrest powers, denied Friday that it had been done in secret.

“We haven’t changed the rules," he said, as quoted at the National Post. "We have put up a fence. We have told people very very clearly that we will not be allowing the public access into that area. ... Our authority comes primarily comes from common law, but also by the regulation that has been passed by the province of Ontario."

But the assertion that the change wasn't secret was immediately challenged by reporters covering the G20 summit.

"Funny," writes Adam Radwanski at the Globe and Mail, "I asked two different spokespeople for the integrated G20 police unit — at least one of whom was from the Toronto force — about the legal justification for the measures being taken around the perimeter. Neither breathed a word about anything about the Public Works Protection Act, let alone any recent cabinet decisions that affected it."

“It’s just unbelievable you would have this kind of abuse of power where the cabinet can create this offense without having it debated in the legislature,” Vasey's lawyer, Howard Morton, told the Star.

Activist groups say that keeping the new police powers a secret means they have been giving G20 protesters inaccurate advice about how to deal with police confrontations. Vasey himself refused to show identification to police because he was following the advice laid out by the Toronto Community Mobilization Network, which is organizing some G20 protest activities.

"This act values public property over the freedom of people and prevents community members from walking freely through the streets without questioning from authorities," the group said on its Web site Friday. "We will not be made examples of, but rather, we will publicly denounce oppressive activities of the state and highlight the solidarity in our communities."

Vasey is scheduled to appear in court on July 28.

IMHO any LE that participates in this is a dipshit. Ignorance of being a dipshit is no excuse.  Grin And cameras are the new guns, yes, they are because they even claim they are and arrest you for it. Kiss

Yeah, just being a soldier following orders is not enough of a defense. Where do you think we should hold the new Nurembourg trials when the NWO falls? I mean, ya don'yt want to stigmatize a palce, unless it deserves to be stigmatized...How about one of the many Bilderberg estates?!? Sound good?

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

I am not condemning them eternally, they just need to realize they are being a dipshit and just stop. They need to rekindle their humanity, How is another question entirely.
