Thanks! GoingEtheric, have you seen the movie "Army of Darkness" (1992)?
It's about a search for the Necronomicon during the dark ages with lot's of knights, wizards and magic, i've not finished it yet but it is well made and the effects are cool also.

"A man is accidentally transported to 1300 A.D., where he must battle an army of the dead and retrieve the Necronomicon so he can return home."

Yes, lol, I have seen army of darkness.. I just didn't think to add it. Super-silly movie, and of coarse just another retelling.

Jordan Maxwell claims that Jedi comes from Yudah, Hebrew for Judah, Yehudi, Hebrew for Jew, but there are other Hebrew derivations which I believe make more sense.

Jedi can be connected to the Hebrew yidˇdehˇōˇnē - wizard, literally knower.  See http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=H3049&t=KJV

Also, "The Djed symbol is a pillar-like ancient Egyptian symbol representing stability." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Djed

"From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Redirected from Djedi) Dedi or Dedi of Djed-Sneferu[3] is the name of a fictitious ancient Egyptian magician appearing in the fourth chapter of a story told in the legendary Westcar Papyrus. He is said to have worked wonders during the reign of king (pharaoh) Khufu (4th Dynasty)." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Djedi

Interesting also that the name Yoda can be etymologically connected to the Hebrew yada or Aramaic yeda - to know.  See http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=H3045&t=KJV ; http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=H3046&t=KJV

Yoda is also a Japanese name - http://www.samuraibaby.com/kanji_names/kanji_names.php?nameid=681

Maybe Yoda is the name of a Masonic teacher or some occult spirit, but I would like to see evidence, such as a quote from a Masonic/occult book which mentions this.
