New video footage of the Israeli raid on a flotilla heading to Gaza was released Thursday by a Tribeca filmmaker and activist. Watch it and listen to the gunshots and fully auto gun fire. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/2010/06/11/2010-06-11_tribeca_filmmaker_activist_iara_lee_takes_viewers_within_israeli_raid_on_gaza_fl.html#ixzz0qXNqBt1uIsraeli Attack on the Mavi Marmara, May 31st 2010 // 15 min. by Cultures of Resistance On the night of Sunday, May 30, showing a terrifying disregard for human life, Israeli naval forces surrounded and boarded ships sailing to bring humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip. On the largest ship, the Mavi Marmara, Israeli commandos opened fire on civilian passengers, killing at least 9 passengers and wounding dozens more. Others are still missing. The final death toll is yet to be determined. Cultures of Resistance director Iara Lee was aboard the besieged ship and has since returned home safely. Despite the Israeli government’s thorough efforts to confiscate all footage taken during the attack, Iara Lee was able to retain some of her recordings. Above is 15 minutes of footage from the moments leading up to and during the Israeli commandos’ assault on the Mavi Marmara. Hamas and Israel are in armed struggle, not in war. The blockade is legal when TWO COUNTRIES ARE IN CONFLICT. Palestine it is not a country or independent state from Israel. Thus, because is under Israel government control, and Israel never declared a LEGAL war against "Palestine", the blockade is ILLEGAL.
Israel just respect INTERNATIONAL LAWS when it is good for play the victim...
Ships in international waters are considered a extension from the country where this ship come from. If a ship in international waters with a Russian flag is attacked, Russia government have the right to act in the same way if the precedent was inside the Russia borders.
Remember the Somalian pirates? They boarded a Russian ship in international waters and Russia sent they naval forces to rescue the ship. If the Russian soldiers had killed all pirates, they were right in the spot because the ship is part of they territory.
The floatilla was from Turkey and followed all international protocols to port in Gaza. They even let independent authority in Cyprus to verify if the ship was carrying military weapons.
Once Israel boarded the ship in international waters, was the same as cross Turkey borders. But Israel did worst... They also killed civilians.

The list of banned goods replaces an old list of allowed items that permitted only basic humanitarian supplies for the 1.5 million Gazans. Under the new system, the government said practically all non-military items can enter Gaza freely.
"From now on, there is a green light of approval for all goods to enter Gaza except for military items and materials that can strengthen Hamas' military machine," Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said.
Israel decided on Thursday to ease the blockade under intense international pressure after its raid on a blockade-busting international flotilla bound for Gaza killed nine pro-Palestinian activists.
In a critical shift, Israel said it would allow construction materials into Gaza for projects approved by the Palestinian Authority, such as housing and schools, as long as the projects are under international supervision. Up to now, Israel has banned most construction materials, including cement.
that is extremely purposely vague

Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye.
Read all about it.
Israel becomes temporarily reasonable.
After saying that they were only trying to "strangle" Gaza economically.
You think they have something up their sleeve? Other shoe about to drop, or what?
Temporary sanity.

I guess it has something to do with the Iranian threat to break the blockade.
They will either find or plant weapons on the Iranians if they do break the blockade as a pretext for war. That is my guess.
Right now, they are saying, "Hey, we're not bad guys. We'll let them have humanitarian relief supplies." It is all to act as a foil or backdrop for the seizure of/assasult on the Iranian vessel (Illuminazi fall guys/patsies).
Yup, I would expect the other shoe to drop any time now.

thinking the same. or rather the lines of ...there is no need for your flotilla iran send the ships back, in otherwords back down, move along....but they keep coming giving israel a reason to board them.
