blame the Irish they might well, since the AQ threat is no longer scary they are rolling out the ghost of terrors past - they said on tv here the other day that we are all at risk from the new IRA (irish repub. army) . . .

Been several incidents against british forces over in Ireland recently too.

You might think though that they would attack the highly publisied new MI5 base over there though wouldnt you ?

The attacks on the Irish have always been an MI6/CIA operation using their own terrorists as IRA terrorists. I think this movie is about the best way to inform people of the insanity that happened in that area which helped to get Thatcher into power...

Good film.

Real or not (just like AQ) they make useful fallguys for when they want to pull a stunt.

Not sure if you guys over in the US are up to speed or not but the new coalition govt are in very deep very hot water at the moment over these "budget cuts"

(let the rich be - take money off the sick and long term disabled instead since, ya know, they can`t fight back ! Oh, and take it off the kids too.)

They have been harrassed non stop and for the first time a coalition spilt looks maybe possible and the new leadership just lost favour and popularity too.
- time for a quick diversion wouldn`t you say?

I'd rather be independent than rely on a state that dictates the terms I receive "benefits" (other people's plundered incomes) under. As I said in the austerity thread further down in GD, we aren't seeing the conditions for fresh business or indeed a fix for the unjust tax\monetary system.
