Obviously, previous surveys of Afghanistan's geological structure, (which I found on the internet) have already shown that there are many valued minerals in that region-could this be the REAL reason we (the American & British) troops are in that area-to create further confusion/prolong war and do what so many countries have done to African nations ()-control the natural resources by American & British corporations???

I think some analogies on the Jindal accusation about the feds not allowing the scrapers could be drawn from the Terry Schiavo case.

CHICAGO – During today’s morning and evening commutes, Amtrak Police, Metra Police, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel and law enforcement officers from more than 100 federal, state, local and rail police agencies are being deployed at more than 100 passenger rail stations in Illinois and the neighboring states of Wisconsin and Indiana in an exercise of expanded counterterrorism and incident response capabilities.
The multi-force security surge across Chicagoland and in two other states is not in response to any threat or incident. WOAI SAN ANTONIO is reporting that over the last 18 months, 17 Afgans have gone MISSING from the DEFENSE LANGUAGE INSTITUTE (the DLI) at Lackland Air Force Base.  So far, they have found 7 of them but 10 are still missing.  If DLI rings a bell, it should.  It is the EXACT SAME SCHOOL that 3 of the 19 9/11 hijackers atteneded.

And here is what a man claiming to be Captain Richeson, a public affairs specialist in the Air Force, has written in the comments section of this story after I mentioned the link between the school and 9/11.

The U.S. is working with Afghanistan, a vital partner nation, to develop a sustainable Afghan security force to strengthen our coalition. Trainee invitational travel orders and visas are revoked and Homeland Security officials are responsible for the law-enforcement aspects of locating and apprehending the AWOL trainees.
