For Alex:

No such thing as a saber-toothed tiger - they were actually big cats - saber-toothed cats.

On your next trip to the La Brea Tar Pits - tell 'em your opinion.  I already know what they say.

"Smilodon (pronounced /ˈsmaɪlədɒn/), often called saber-toothed cat or saber-toothed tiger, is an extinct genus of machairodontine[1] saber-toothed cats endemic to North America and South America living from the Early Pleistocene through Lujanian stage of the Pleistocene epoch (1.8 mya—10,000 years ago)."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smilodon

It is a common name.

Or perhaps the computer case.
