http://www.zerohedge.com/article/prominent-oil-industry-insider-theres-another-leak-much-bigger-5-6-miles-awayProminent Oil Industry Insider: "There's Another Leak, Much Bigger, 5 to 6 Miles Away"Submitted by George Washington on 05/27/2010 16:27 -0500 Matt Simmons was an energy adviser to George W. Bush, is an adviser to the Oil Depletion Analysis Centre, and is a member of the National Petroleum Council and the Council on Foreign Relations. Simmon is chairman and CEO of Simmons & Company International, an investment bank catering to oil companies. Simmons told Dylan Ratigan that "there's another leak, much bigger, 5 to 6 miles away" from the leaking riser and blowout preventer shown on the underwater cameras:I have no idea whether or not Simmons is right. The government should immediately either debunk or admit his claim. If accurate, the bigger leak could have been caused by the destruction of the well casing when the oil rig exploded. That is Simmons' theory. Or it could be caused by a natural oil seep, although the odds of a seep of that size occurring right around the time of the Deep Horizon disaster is nearly zero. There is another possibility. It is well-known that there were previous accidents at the Deepwater Horizon rig. For example, as AP notes: From 2000 to 2010, the Coast Guard issued six enforcement warnings and handed down one civil penalty and a notice of violation to Deepwater Horizon, agency records show. On 18 different occasions during that period the Coast Guard cited the vessel for an "acknowledged pollution source." And as 60 Minutes reports: [Mike Williams, the chief electronics technician on the Deepwater Horizon, and one of the last workers to leave the doomed rig] said they were told it would take 21 days; according to him, it actually took six weeks. With the schedule slipping, Williams says a BP manager ordered a faster pace. "And he requested to the driller, 'Hey, let's bump it up. Let's bump it up.' And what he was talking about there is he's bumping up the rate of penetration. How fast the drill bit is going down," Williams said. Williams says going faster caused the bottom of the well to split open, swallowing tools and that drilling fluid called "mud." "We actually got stuck. And we got stuck so bad we had to send tools down into the drill pipe and sever the pipe," Williams explained. That well was abandoned and Deepwater Horizon had to drill a new route to the oil. It cost BP more than two weeks and millions of dollars. "We were informed of this during one of the safety meetings, that somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 million was lost in bottom hole assembly and 'mud.' And you always kind of knew that in the back of your mind when they start throwing these big numbers around that there was gonna be a push coming, you know? A push to pick up production and pick up the pace," Williams said. Asked if there was pressure on the crew after this happened, Williams told Pelley, "There's always pressure, but yes, the pressure was increased." But the trouble was just beginning: when drilling resumed, Williams says there was an accident on the rig that has not been reported before. He says, four weeks before the explosion, the rig's most vital piece of safety equipment was damaged. It is therefore possible that there has been another ongoing leak which BP has tried to cover up. 4.35

I work in newspaper print factory, we make the papers for the country, so 12 hours ago i read in one of them (times, independent, dunno which) they were gonna throw rubbish down to stop the leak including throwing tons of golf balls, they actually said that, golf balls.

This is true Viper. These scientists actually say a controlled detonation would do the trick and yet BP refuses to do it. I still think my assertion is right---they want to save that PIPE.

I've been on this website the last week. You might want to listen to their updates. The latest one is 118. You gotta scroll down a bit until you find it. It has a lot of on the ground updates. http://www.thelightgate.com/index.htmlAlso, you might want to go to Steve Quayle's site and listen to Thursday night's broadcast. Greg Evensen/Hawk did the first hour, and Quayle did the second.

Greg Evensen/Hawk did the first hour, and Quayle did the second. Excerpt from show “Reports are that the protocols that are being developed, what they are doing is bringing together primary battle groups. People that can actually be engaged in combat. Reinforced by foreign troops at 500 mile intervals. Every 500 miles you have a concentration of battle groups. so that the flow of people when it becomes beyond anything we have ever seen, they will have these communication hubs. Overall command is US. Including UN APPOINTED OFFICERS. Including RUSSIAN. 40 million people potentially to be evacuated. That does not include the people on the east coast. If this happens you could see potentially another ten million.P This is from a former New Mexican State Police officer, he said to me that their are reports that there had been previously unseen ground units emerging from otherwise inactive areas in the DESERT SOUTHWEST. Possibly foreign or coming from underground areas. They were headed toward the east… They are testing newly developed air dispersal chemicals. June 15 to 20th is the potential for a saturation point where human habitation would be in jeopardy. The elderly, the sick, and the young could die first. Again I don’t want people going crazy here, these are the best esitmates at the time for the worst cause scenario. Phase two would be deep down in the cost with a time frame from July 1st to July 10th as a potential when levels would reach the need to evacuate. The potential to affect 50 million. I have found out that independent scientists are looking at a second plume that is six miles wide and 3300 hundred feet down that may only be 20 miles south of Mobil Bay. Worst cause scenario, again these numbers were given to me by the folks who are working on this plan. This could be up to 200,000 state, county, and local police personal and upwards to 300,000 volunteers and regular staff that would be effected. This is not counting the military. Border enforcement will collapse as all available law enforcement are taken up. All civilian assets would be basically abandoned. These folks are charged with planning for every case including the worst case and this of course reflects the worst case” WE HAVE BEEN WARNED THAT THERE WILL BE A DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN AGAINST THIS INFORMATION. A big thing they are now speaking about is a potential hurricane. It will be a not summer, El Nino might be rolling in. I am not that good at science, but I assume the water from the gulf will start evaporating and rising to form a hurricane.
Obviously, that water will be combined with the oil. Thus, you will have an "oil hurricane" that could start hitting the coastal areas. Obviously, having people, animals, land, crops, businesses, etc..would NOT be a good thing.
Of course, this could lead to a national state of emergency. Millions, if not 10s of millions, would need to be evacuated.
Of course, FEMA would be called in to help. We all know about FEMA. Might these people go to FEMA camps?
Nonetheless, there would be drastic social upheaval if millions were displace.
And as the Illuminati puppet, Rahm Emmanuel says, "You can't let a good crisis go to waste!"
Quayle and Evensen are saying that there are military plans to start evacuations.

On another topic, BP needs to be fined and the CEO's should be arrested for negligence. Then fine Haliburton into the stone age for there failed work. Simmons Calls For Military to Nuke Oil Leak Inquiring minds are reading Simmons Calls For Obama to Take Over BP; Military To Nuke Oil Leak Today Matt Simmons, one of the largest investment bankers in the energy industry appeared on Bloomberg. The chairman of Simmons & Co. INTL went on to explain that there is much more to the oil leak than the news has been reporting. Last Sunday, NOAA confirmed reports of a second fissure about 5-7 miles from the original. This new fissure appears to be releasing a plume the size of Delaware and Maryland combined! He went on to state that “the plume from the riser is minor thing… the estimate is about 120,000 barrels of oil per day”. Simmons is quoted as saying, “Obama could remove BP today… tell BP it is time to leave”. Some questions were also brought up that pertained to a nuclear device and how the military could lower one 18,000 feet into the well bore. Simmons went on to say ” Such techniques have been used by the Russians on several different occasions”. Matt Simmons Video on the Nuke Option http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4whiKQgnp4w&feature=player_embeddedMat Simmons "... From all of the best scientists who have thought about this in the past few days, probably the only thing we can do is create a weapons system and send it down 18,000 feet, detonate it and hopefully case in the oil." That we would even have discussions about setting off nuclear explosions in "hope" they would accomplish something is certainly not encouraging to say the least.

Setting off a nuke would shut down the gulf oil operations (for safety reasons) for at least a short while.
We get 30% of our oil from the gulf (I heard).
All this equals HIGH gas prices. And a big step towards achieving THEIR agenda.

Some use Rev 18 saying what is being described, the fall of Mystery Babylon is America as a nation. Mostly due to 911. The only problem is to come to that conclussion you have to ignore all of Rev 17 and just about the rest of the Bible.

Also create a tsunami, that would wash all the oil even faster onto the coast. maybe ignite some of it also. big firery tidal wave.

Actually that technique is used, and was used alot in the gulf fires, to exstinguish a gusher that is on fire. It doesn't stop the flow at all. The explosion sucks up all the oxygen from the air, thus the fire goes out. The problem it seems with BP is debris in the way that is restricting what they can put down there I'm guessing. Otherwise, from the video it seems a larger tube could be placed over the leak, and the tube have an open valve when it is placed, thus allowing it to not build up oil while they get a hose connected to the tube. The one they claim they tried to place look like it was open on one side and not much bigger than the immediate leak area. I never have read why it was that cap thing didn't work. With the bottom I suspect being soft, it seems a tube on its end would sink right into the sea floor a few feet, then cap it off, and attach a hose. There must be stuff in the way preventing decent coverage.
