I saw that clip a couple of years ago - many times in movies, tv et al a decade leading up to that, there were 9/11 subliminal messages all over the place. For example, in a 1997 Jennifer Aniston rom-com(Picture Perfect), both she and a friend were on atop of a building, and the Twin Towers were in the background while Anniston and her friend were spewing psychopathic rhetoric.
That's how deep these subliminal messages were.
