Actually it's not a pyramid scheme, which is illegal, it's MLM, or Multi-level-marketing of a sorts, where you keep getting paid on people 'under' you who recruit new people. The 'product' is information, though you aren't directly 'selling' anything.

MLM is totally legal, and if folks want to do it, then that's their business.

Sounds very similar to a Pyramid scheme, too me.

You are correct, which is why people should ignore about 85% of YOUR posts.

Rather than demand, I suggest that you research the rules instead, pay close attention to #4. Your thread here was merged with a larger thread that actually had a title rather than just a name...

And then to imply that you and Q are the only ones here who have done any research on Kevin Trudeau... is arrogant and of course, false. You are merely the only two who voice a totally negative conclusion... which I give about as much credence to as someone with a totally positive conclusion... little...

What really burns me about this thread are the sheep who spout that the "government is going after him because of his views on Bush etc.."  That really has nothing to do with it.  They are going after him because of the false information he spews.

I am curious to see how these people will react the next time they are victims of false advertising.  Will they simply say "Oh well.. you got me.  I fell for it" or will they be mad and demand their money back?

If they DON'T concede and roll over like spineless jelly fish, then they really have NO RIGHT to come to this thread and stand up for Trudeau... that would make them hypocrites.

I demand the right to make my own informed decisions.
Bring on the false advertising.
Bring it all on, IT'S STILL (kinda) A FREE COUNTRY
Good decisions belong to the discerning
You think LUNESTA, PROZAC, CHEMO etc etc ad infinitum aren't false advertising?
They are, absolutely the worst kind of false advertising  (end of depression? end of sleep problems? end of cancer? give me a f###ing break)

Guy comes along with what may or may not be false advertising, making money on warning you about false advertising, Alex vets him, has an intelligent conversation with him, and everybody goes crazy.

Seems like a Guy Cat Fight to me.

First time I heard of Trudeau was this tuesday's interview. I doubted he was all that influent, but accepted the message. I didn't think too much of it.

Past reading this entire thread, I now doubt his claims of being a Bilderberg insider of sorts. I hadn't checked his new website - it's preposterous to pay $1000 for insider information even if it was true, which I doubt it is, and yet claim he wants to spread the information to everyone. I can't prove it's a scam. No one can, besides those willing to pay $1000+$150 a month to check it out. But considering Trudeau's troubling con-man history, and unverified claims of being a Bilderberg insider or even having contacts inside Bilderberg, I would never pay him a dime for anything. If Trudeau could provide us some proof that he indeed has something new, something valuable, then I would not doubt him as much. As of now, I see him as nothing but a con-man.

I did order an used copy of his best-seller for $5 however, before coming to this conclusion, so I'll definitely be checking into "his" (rehashed) work.

I find it ironic how skeptics and truth lovers in here can be so easily moved by Trudeau. This thread is so funny. There is plenty of ground to doubt his intention and veracity. Please do not be so hasty to conclude he must be truthful just because he told you what you wanted to hear, or just because he's been in AJ's show. If you really think this guy is for real, then why don't you go give him $1000? The information surely must pay for itself, he wouldn't lie, would he? Haha.

No, nor did I say that you did, but the easy to infer implication was there just the same... and... I would ask all here to heed your last sentence with regard to your posts as well...

" Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction
between government and society. As a result of this, every time we object to a thing
being done by government, the Socialists conclude that we object to its being done
at all. We disapprove of state education. Then the Socialists say we are opposed to
any education. We object to a state religion. The Socialists say that we want no
religion at all. We object to a state enforced equality. Then they say that we are
against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the Socialists were to accuse us of
not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain."

I usually support Alex and his guests, but he has had a few questionable guests on lately, including Trudeau.

The man is a scam artist, and I personally know people who have spent hundreds in order to get that "key to weight loss" that was quite literally nothing at all.

What disappointed me even further was on yesterdays show, Alex made a comment about how "back in the day, people had the right to sell something and claim it could cure everything, but now you can't" when referencing the interview with Trudeau the day before...

That is a REALLY bad example of control.  Those new laws were put into place to protect the consumer and THEIR rights.... The seller has the right to sell what he wants, but does NOT have the right to make clearly false claims about the product simply to sell it.

How would you feel if you go to a car dealership and look to buy a car, and the dealer tells you the car has AC, power seats, power windows, fully loaded, 12 speaker stereo mp3 player and all that jazz, BUT, you can't see for yourself until you buy it.... then you buy it and it's a bare bones Kia?

Wouldn't you feel ripped?  Do you not feel there should be laws protecting you?  What if they told you "too bad, so sad... the dealer had the right to claim what ever he wants to sell the car"

Sorry, I don't like Trudeau, and I do not agree with Alex's justification for having him on the show, and I definitely don't agree with Alex's analogy of how they are trying to "take away his rights"...

Whats worse is people like Trudeau pray upon the elderly and mentally unstable people who watch TV. They have enough problems without being sold third hand information at platinum prices.

I think to accuse we the anti-trudeau crowd, of being pro-censorship, is to miss the point. Regardless of how the government treats Trudeau, many people who have invested money, time, faith, and energy into spreading the work and message of Alex Jones, really don't trust Trudeau any farther than we can throw him. Quite frankly, with the inclusion of a fast-talking, promoter, and the host appearing to buy into his claims so faithfully, the AJ show is beginning to drift away from the beacon of hope and truth that it has come to be known, and instead, it's starting to look like nothing more than an infomercial for anti-government propaganda.

Before, it seemed like the information presented on these info war sites was based on good evidence, but now Jones looks like he's taking seriously, the testimony of a man who is known far and wide for selling plagarism mixed with BS, and lying about his experience to do so.

Alex was saying yesterday that he had used Trudeau's "Mega Memory" techniques, and I admit, I bought the same book when I was a teenager. I bought a lot of memory improvement books, and that's how I quickly learned that Trudeau had just stollen the techniques outlined in a book called "The Memory Book" from back in the seventies, mutilated them so that he could call them his own, and printed the result in his own book, giving the actual researchers no credit whatsoever.  And if you pay attention, you can see that he does this time after time after time.

Now do some of the things he sells work?  Sure, probably, because they're modified versions of tried and true techniques. But everything he claims beyond that original source material is a product of his own imagination, and he's just saying it to make himself seem like he's in a position to discover facts that nobody else can simply learn about on the internet or the library for free.

He's not a billionaire, he wasn't mingling with Bilderberg members anywhere near greece, he's just a pathological liar. Listen to the interviews.  Every time Alex asks him about something that happened in a completely different part of the world, Kevin comes back with, "Oh yeah, I was just over there!" or some predictable nonsense like that. He finds out what your preconceived notions or hunches are, and then claims he recently confirmed that exact suspicion personally.

They ought to call him Kevin True-No. "Too good to be true" is the theme of his life's work. He's a yes man with a fee. I don't know how I can express it in a way to get the point across, but the ultimate point I'm trying to make here is KEVIN TRUDEUA IS A LIAR WHO IS LEECHING OFF OF ALEX JONES'S CREDIBILITY, SO HE CAN SELL MORE LOW QUALITY BOOKS! IT DOESN"T MATTER THAT HE HAS THE FREEDOM TO LIE, WHAT MATTERS IS THAT HE DAMAGES THE CREDIBILITY OF THOSE WHO GET BEHIND THE LIES HE TELLS. ALEX DOESN'T HAVE TO ENDORSE CENSORSHIP TO NOT WELCOME SOMEONE BACK ON THE SHOW, OR AVOID QUOTING THEM IN HIS ARTICLES AND DOCUMENTARIES.

I hope I've gotten my point across.

Mega Memory was a kit when I purchased it and I thought it was fantastic!  My children all have went through the techniques--my oldest son contributes his advancement in his job thanks to Mega Memory-- he is a ship captain in the U.S. Merchant Marines which, anybody ever trying to take a coast guard exam in celestial navigation would understand how hard it would be to memorize even with good memory skills.

Let's just stop chasing our tail here.  Kevin Trudeau is a master salesman.  Just as Ronald M. Popeil (RONCO) is an inventor and infomercial guru.  Some of his products aren't worth a crap but he is good at what he does.  His Showtime Rotisserie, "Set it and forget it"  sold millions of rotisserie ovens, and make the best rotisserie chicken, too!

On that note, this thread is done--put a fork in it.

That is the main problem I see with this guy. If all his books were his own ideas and studies I'd blame him not. But he's entered so many different markets and got into so many legal disputes that it's hard not to doubt his intentions and claims. And I just can't for the life of me believe that a guy like him would be sly enough to get inside info from Bilderberg like he says. It can't be as easy as getting on a yacht or going to Greece!

With that said, I'm done with flaming.

In case people want to know what this thread is about without reading through all of it, these are the main points.

Kevin Trudeau is a pathological liar, conman, thief, scam artist, felon, fraudster, prevaricator, and then some.

He lied on the AJ Show by saying he is banned from the media - there is no such ban.

He lied by claiming to be a member of the elite hobnobing with Bilderbergers - a ridiculous claim for someone like him which he did not substantiate.

He lied about his elite connections in order to sell his new "secret information" pyramid scam globalinformationnetwork.com.

He is not a billionaire - the $37M fine probably blew him away financially which is why he's back on the game whoring himself and scamming.

Jones should have known better than to foolishly gush and fawn all over this obvious con artist criminal thieving scum.

I trust I won't find out that this appearance was part of a commercial arrangement with Trudeau...I'd like to think Jones has more self-respect than to be reduced to an infomercial host for thieving scammers.

I pay for Alex's Show. I'm a member of prisonplanet.tv.  If I'm out of line for being concerned when a known fraud is getting treated like a eyewitness reporter, and a reliable source of information, on a news servivce I'm paying for, under the presumption that I would be getting more honesty here than I would be on Fox News, then maybe my subscription, my DVD purchases, and endorsements of Alex to my friends and family are out of line, too.

What, CNN seduces us into believing lies, but the "king of infomercials" wouldn't stear us wrong, because he's giving us what we always wanted to hear on a silver platter?  I hope Alex is reading this topic, because some of us out here aren't willing to set by and watch him destroy the reputation he's earned, with the help of us, his fans, by partnering with an after-hours TV huckster. This is an information war, Son. The stakes are much bigger than Alex Jones. The fate of the world rests on the side that has the most accurate and informative media. Kevin Trudeau is not just a liar, his reputation is a weakness in the information age, and I'll be damned if I'm going to remain silent while Alex the Icon asks him to add his dishonest link to our truth chain.

No I think this thread is "how to demonize" without proof.

Can you prove he is not a billionaire?

Can you legally prove GIN is a pyramid scheme?

Can you prove he was not at Bilderberg?

You sure are an accusatory person with little facts and a lot of hype type.

Look at the roster of who admittedly WAS at builderberg, and look at Keven, not exactly people who play on the same field.

Talking about little fact and a lot of hype, maybe their is a shamwow forum somewhere, if Keven went to builderberg, the shamwow guy must preside over it.

I guess you were right..........................or wrong?

This writer say's he is a billionaire yet he got it by being a fraud.  So MSM can blow me.

No I think this thread is "how to demonize" without proof.

Can you prove he is not a billionaire?

Can you legally prove GIN is a pyramid scheme?

Can you prove he was not at Bilderberg?

You sure are an accusatory person with little facts and a lot of hype type.

#1, there's no such thing as proof.  The word proof simply means "sufficient evidence to convince me." Many people consider the government's official story about 9/11 to be proof, for instance. Evidence brought is delusion, while evidence sought is proof. Proof is not delivered upon command, but found upon investigation. If you want proof, you'll have to go and find it yourself.

#2, Should we just assume this man was at bilderberg by default? Even though he has absolutely no power that bilderberg would be interested in, and spends his time antagonizing bilderberg-run organizations?

#3, forbes.com lists all of the world's billionaires. Just search for his name.

#4, There are types of pyramid scams that are not legally recognised as such, and are therefore legal. "Multi-level marketing," or "network marketing" programs are legal pyramid scams, for instance. In fact, the Federal reserve banking system is another example of a legal pyramid scam, but one centered around gold, land and labor, rather than cash. It all comes down to mathematics really. New participants in the system pass their own wealth up the pyramid to the smaller levels. The more people you can get to pass their wealth into the system, the less work it takes for you to gain wealth yourself. It's a scam, because eventually you reach a ground layer, where there all the demand for participation in the program has been saturated to the point where nobody else is willing to become a new participant, because they need the wealth they have to survive. And at that point the bottom (and largest) layer of the existing pyramid doesn't get their money back... they just live with the fact that they paid hundreds of dollars for nothing, and their wealth got gradually soaked up by the upper layers. That's what GIN is. It has the same formula.

I know because I've been exposed to such scams before. Their members are like dollar zombies. They're like cults. They try to convince you to join, assuring you that you'll soon be able to consume without producing, even though they themselves haven't even gotten a return on their own huge investment yet. They look at you with a blank, hypnotised stare. It's creepy.

The only thing that keeps them from being classified as pyramid scams, is that they attach themselves to specific legitimate products or services. Participants in the programs don't actually make money off of the sale of those products, except perhaps the folks on the top of the pyramid. Everybody else involved gets all their money from the membership fees of new members. It's a pyramid scam that comes with unpaid encouragement to use a specific product or service.  In other words, "send your money up the pyramid, use the products we recommend, and encourage other people to do as you do. You will not get paid if they use the products, but you will get paid if they send their money up the pyramid."

What sells Libertarianism?  The realization that the above reasons are two ways of describing the same problem.

#1 and #3 of your post makes perfect sense.  That's what we call doublethink.

No there are plenty that are not on the list. However, they are ones who have a vested interest in hiding there wealth (How long would Rockefeller last if he went on TV and said, "I put most my money in killing black kids"?). Keven goes around bragging about something he doesn't have.

It is if I am dealing with total newbies to the truth.  Of course Forbes does not have all the billionaires of the world on the list.  The list is for playboy's.
And those who they want to shame won't make the list either.

I run into this problem in most every debate I engage people here on the forums with... they use the government and mainstream media as their crux of interest when it suits their argument disregarding how many times they've lied about... um... EVERYTHING!

It's quite silly, and it makes me highly re-think the amount of people here who are truly on the beam or not...

You're grasping at straws. Ridiculous and outlandish claims like "I went to Bilderberg" (for Trudeau) have to be substantiated or they should assumed to be false.

Do you see billionaires like Soros and the like starting stupid pyramid scams like GIN? And btw, "pyramid scam" is not a legally defined term and is a perfectly apt description for truthless Trudeau's new rip off scheme.

It beggars belief that you're still defending this guy when he came on the AJ Show and blatently lied...WTF? He duped you and many others, it happens, but don't compound the original error with this absurd denial.

But wait! My mistake

Alex Jones has spent 15 years or more spreading the very same information for free.  Sure he sells DVD's and host's a radio broadcasts to make a living.   But he allows people to copy, and share the videos & information because he is really in the fight.  Alex travels the nation, and world attending protests, and knowingly runs the risk of arrest.  He cares that much.

What has Trudaeu done for the truth movement? As far as I know nothing except setup a subscription based website, and charge $1,000 up front before you can even access the site.

What has Trudaeu done to fight the NWO besides pimp a website on Prison Planet?

No trickery here at all. Just answer the question, please.

What has Trudaeu done for the truth movement/Anti-NWO besides pimp an access fee/subscription based website and attempt to profit from it?

Has he confronted anyone from Builderburg on record, or attend any protest rally?

If he has all this information, and he truely cares why not use it to fight instead of simply mizer access to it?

I am a grown up who can resist buying slick-salesman products.  Shouldn't Americans be given the same choice without government intervention?

But a great salesman with a good product will get my dollars.  Kevin T has woke up so many people for years and very good friends of mine.  People that have never heard of AJ.  It was through KT that they opened their mind to AJ.

Can you just give him that, then go back to bashing how he got his billions?
