I guess "scamers" are not entitled to free speech. Obviously not to some members. The Bill of Rights is not a Chinese a la carte menu or a soup du jour. You cannot pick and choose who has rights and who doesn't. Even if you do not agree with someone, that someone has a first amendment right!

Well I didn't look for this thread until after. I just wanted to say my piece. Plus that thread is old there is a lot of KT bashing on it. It pisses me off. The guy changed my life in so many ways after reading his books and listening to his radio show. I wish more of you out there would listen to his show. His podcast is free like Alex's. Go on iTunes and download all his shows in the last 8 months for free. You will be amazed at how important the information is he talks about. He interviewed Jesse Ventura twice, Ron Paul twice, Suzanne Somers and many others.
Stop believing the BS you hear in the mainstream media about him. They are bashing him for a reason. Think about it!
I am soo with you man! I bought Kevin's 3 books and they're great! The ones who are scamming you are the GOVERNMENT FOR GOD SAKE!

If you are referring to me I agree with you about his 1st Amendment rights. I merely commented on his overall character and the way I view him.

I love how Trudeau is some kind of super scam artist in the minds of certain people. He sold books. How do you screw someone by selling them a book? I know this...the government and media are happy to portray Trudeau in that light. As some kind of carpet-bagging, flim-flam man. I guess they would know... Did the Judge get pissed because he got e-mails from all of the people Trudeau screwed over the years?

Because you already have a preconceived notion and a prejudice--if you were called as a juror to hear his case you would be bias therefore, not affording him his unalienable right to free speech.

Come ON, this is ridiculous! I've looked into this, and this guy Trudeau is low con-artist SCUM. This particular issue has nothing to do with the 1st amendment - to conflate the issues in this way is disrespectful to those facing real breaches of their 1st amendment and other free speech isses worldwide. Trudeau was found in contempt of court (again) because he idiotically asked people to spam the court with emails which resulted in the email system being disabled. If someone did that to infowars, you'd be screaming "DOS ATTACK!" and be calling for some legal sanction against the attackers. The reasons why Trudeau was due in court in the first place has been covered in the other thread, but in short: constant lying, conning, mis-selling, mis-representation..that he always effectively admits to in court in order to get off with a fine. I understand he's now operating his latest scam from Nevis, a legal black hole in the carribean. This guy is simply not deserving of you support..and I genuinely don't understand why you throw it away on him.

Any citizen is deserving of my support when they are being railroaded by a corrupt justice [sic] system. What scams has Trudeau been guilty of? He wrote books and in his books he states this disclaimer (I know I have read his books): You must know that everything I say in this book is simply my opinion and that there are many people who violently disagree with my conclusions. If you do anything I recommend without supervision of a license medical doctor, you do so at your own risk. The publisher and the author, the distributors and bookstores, present this information for educational purposes only. I am not making an attempt to prescribe any medical treatment, since under the laws of the United States only licensed medical doctors (an MD) can do do.So you tell me, if a person who you do not necessarily agree with is arrested and indicted on trumped up charges, you have no problem with this?

As I understand, it goes like this: Trudeau lied continuously about his books in his infomercials. He agreed to stop doing this - in court - and paid a large fine, but then made some blatantly false claims about one of his books in an infomercial. This was the basis of the original contempt of court charge, which is the one he was due in court to be sentenced for. All this is documented on the other thread. He then was too cowardly to face the court on the merits of his case, so he asked people to blitz the court with emails. This shut down the court system, and since it was solicited by Trudeau, he was held in further contempt. Trudeau needs to man up, pay the original contempt fine, settle the new one and f*** off back to Nevis to continue his new scam - which anyone with any intelligence knows about and will avoid. Will he do this? Probably not, because he seems to be incapable of telling the truth about anything, and compulsively stupid as well.

What you have posted is simply what MSM has spoon fed you. Again, he was told by the courts--which are entrenched with corruption (i.e., graft from pharmaceutical companies and their handlers) to shut up and pay fines--fines they imposed upon unconstitutional grounds.. When he wouldn't shut up they sicked the dogs (the unconstitutional alphabet soup groups, FDA, FCC, etc...) to fine him on trumped up charges. The only people I see here that need to man up are the very citizens who are willing to see another citizen unduly tried for exercising his first amendment rights. "I am really mortified to be told that, in the United States of America, a fact like this can become a subject of inquiry, and of criminal inquiry too, as an offence against religion; that a question about the sale of a book can be carried before the civil magistrate. Is this then our freedom of religion? And are we to have a censor whose imprimatur shall say what books may be sold, and what we may buy? And who is thus to dogmatize religious opinions for our citizens? Whose foot is to be the measure to which ours are all to be cut or stretched? Is a priest to be our inquisitor, or shall a layman, simple as ourselves, set up his reason as the rule for what we are to read, and what we must believe? It is an insult to our citizens to question whether they are rational beings or not, and blasphemy against religion to suppose it cannot stand the test of truth and reason."Thomas Jefferson Source: Letter, 19 April 1814

You just keep calling Kevin Trudeau a scam artist without anything to back it up and you haven't read any of his books so just shut the hell up already. The only thing he is accused of in this frivilous lawsuit is that he said his Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You To Know About is "easy". The judge said he thinks its not easy. So thats all this is about. A matter of a judges opinion. And it is easy. Stop bashing the guy when you know nothing about him.

http://www.ustream.tv/user/ktradio/videosClick that link where all his old shows are. There are 92 videos on USstream.tv of his show. Go back and listen to many of them from the past. The best is his podcast and you can get it free on itunes. For anyone who says he's a scammer you really should listen to his shows before passing judgement. You are supposed to know that when the lamestream media attacks someone its for a reason because he's doing something they don't like.

I've done both. He's a scam artist. He knows how to sucker mass amounts of people out of money, I'll give him that. And great! Go for what you know Kevin, is what I would say to him. But don't cross into the truth arena and expect to be taken seriously. Besides, the show should be called "The Alex Jones wannabe show". Have you listened to this guy? He thinks he mimics AJ from his speech patterns to even the way he sits. It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.
Oh please! The guy has been around a long time. I've seen his infomercials selling his books years before I listened to AJ. I love them both. Kevin Trudeau has always been selling things to improve lives and there is nothing wrong with that. He didn't sell 25,000,000 copies of Natural Cures because he's a scammer. There is plenty of substance in his books and they are worth every penny. And what does he have to be in some sort of club to talk about Government corruption? He has been battling them for years and Alex is good friends with him. Alex was also a guest on Kevin's radio show a couple times already. Blow it out your ass chris geo

Nice comment! I learned a great deal.
Well the way you speak about a great guy who changed my life, its really what you deserve. Just give me an example of him being a scam artist. He has had Mega Memory which was done in the late 80's early 90's. Helps people with memory (good thing). He has helped sell coral calcium with Dr Barefoot which taken along with a good dose daily of sunshine and good nutrition should pretty much guarantee you will never get cancer (good thing). He has his book Natural Cures which talks about many well known natural remedies but many of which I didn't know until hearing about them from Kevin (good thing). He has had Debt Cures book which helped me get rid of lots of old debts and let me know my rights as a credit card holder (good thing). The Weight Loss cure he basically just brought to light Dr Simeons protocol for losing weight in a safe effective way (good thing). What the hell has he done wrong?? Tell me chris geo! Stop spewing put downs at him if you got nothing.

Have you heard his side of the story about the early 90's credit card fraud. He admits to falsifying credit card applications to get more credit. He paid back every penny but broke the law by lying on the applications. He was younger and made a mistake and he told this on his radio show.
Kevin's tree bears plenty of fruit. Look at the ridiculous attacks on Alex Jones, do you believe all that crap? Well think about it!!

Kevin Trudeau has balls! He is fighting the corrupt disgusting FTC at every turn. Everyone else doesn't have the money to fight those bastards. He does and he is. Thats the stuff legends are made out of. His claims are very true in his books. I can attest to them.
What the damn Judge Gettleman said was that he thought it was not "easy" to do the protocol in his book Weight Loss Cure. Thats so disgusting. It is easy but in his opinion its not.
It was anything to try bankrupt Kevin Trudeau because he won't shut up about the food system, big pharma etc. We need Kevin Trudeau! Stand up and fight for a guy like this!

sounds like exactly what a scammer would say!
In 1990, Trudeau posed as a doctor in order to deposit $80,000 in false checks, and in 1991 he pleaded guilty to larceny. Trudeau had used the credit cards of eleven customers of a mega memory product to fraudulently charge approximately $122,735.68.[50] He spent two years in federal prison because of this conviction (Choi, 2005). Later, in his book Natural Cures, Trudeau claimed that he has since learned from his experience, and is now motivated to help people rather than merely make money for himself.[3] 1996: SEC and various states
and that's just the tip of the iceberg.......
Whats iceberg? The rest of the stuff after that has been battling the corrupt FTC over claims he's made. Its called the first amendment. You should be fighting for him to say what ever he wants no matter what you think of him. He speaks truth to power.

Like seriously are you are dumb as people who watch the nightly news? How much do you listen to Alex Jones? Do you not know when someone is being railroaded? Why are people railroaded by the Government? Well if you aren't making an impact against big pharma and big food companies and talking about 9/11 and other things they certainly could care less about you. The guy is being attacked for a reason by our loving Government. You should look into his stuff and figure it out.

It's a fraud issue, not a first amendment issue. Really so saying his Weight Loss Cure was "easy", that constitutes fraud? How lame. You think thats right?

FTC sues Kevin Trudeau over weight loss claims while ignoring Big Pharma monopoly pricing http://www.naturalnews.com/022051.htmlKevin Trudeau, author of the super popular "Natural Cures" books, has once again been sued by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). This time, it's not about coral calcium and cancer; it's about weight loss claims made in the marketing of his book, "The Weight Loss Cure 'They' Don't Want You to Know About." According to the FTC, Trudeau's false statements include ones like this: "I can eat whatever I want now, anything and as much as I want any time I want. No restrictions now. And the weight's not coming back. You don't gain the weight back." Depending on what came before this statement, it might be serious exaggeration or solid truth. For example, I know that if you switch to a diet of unprocessed foods, get lots of sunlight, engage in regular exercise and take lots of trace minerals, most cravings for carbohydrates and processed foods disappear within 30 days. From that point forward, it's true that a person can essentially eat whatever they want, any time they want, because they're not craving the unhealthful, fat-producing processed foods in the first place. Plus, their metabolism is normalized and they're not getting wild blood sugar swings that cause cravings. On the other hand, if by this statement, Trudeau means that you can eat all the ice cream, fried foods, cookies, sodas and desserts you want without gaining weight then of course that's nonsense. The weight will definitely come back for any person consuming primarily processed foods. A favorite FTC target But the real story is not whether Trudeau is wrong or right about weight loss, it's about the selective enforcement of weight loss claims by the FTC. Trudeau is a favorite target of the FTC, and he's been sued before over health claims for his coral calcium products. The FTC even forced him into a settlement where he could no longer sell nutritional products. That's what eventually led Trudeau to write his Natural Cures books, which are now probably the most commercially successful books ever sold via infomercials. The FTC, it seems, wants to keep targeting Trudeau regardless of what he sells. And while Trudeau's weight loss claims may or may not hold water (I haven't seen the infomercial myself, so I don't know what other statements he may have made), I'm far more interested in the fact that the FTC seems to be uninterested in stopping many other weight loss scams. For example, what's up with the Slim Fast products at the grocery store? They're positioned as weight loss meal replacement shakes, and yet the No. 1 ingredient in the powder product is none other than refined table sugar! If you believe that sugar promotes weight loss, then I've got a bridge to sell you. Why isn't the FTC able to sue the SlimFast manufacturer and get these apparently deceptive products off the shelves? And how about those Weight Watchers products? I'm actually doing a photo series on some Weight Watchers desserts to show how incredibly unhealthful they are. Many are made primarily with sugar and hydrogenated oils. To imply that they actually promote weight loss seems ridiculous to me, if not downright fraudulent. Where is the FTC when it comes to protecting consumers from these popular (but in my opinion deceptive) weight loss products?

It is an insult to our citizens to question whether they are rational beings or not, and blasphemy against religion to suppose it cannot stand the test of truth and reason." Thomas Jefferson Source: Letter, 19 April 1814
No one had any problem with him selling his books. But Trudeau, compulsive liar and buffoon that he is, could not resist completely misrepresenting his books in an infomercial..after specifically agreeing not to do this in court...ergo the contempt of court charge. Are you saying this did not happen? The msm made this up? Maybe they made up the fact that Trudeau appealed against the contempt charge and lost..and the case was referred back to the lower court for an explanation of the penalties, which was why Trudeau had to attend court this time..maybe this whole topic, including your replies, is an invention of the msm. The fact is that Trudeau, a lifelong conman and scammer, is being held accountable for a tiny portion of his dishonest scamming, and he is trying every little dishonest trick he knows to avoid this. Also, his whole current persona is crafted to portray himself as one who has inside info so people will buy into his latest scam GIN..this is his modus operandi for the radio shows and other appearances..remember, he's been doing this his whole life so it's no wonder that he's good at it, he knows nothing else.
