I'm going to predict that there will be naked body scanners in Australia by the end of 2010. The only way they are going to do this with public support is by staging some false flag on the Australian mainland. Australians are pretty blase about terrorism and security. The NWO will need to do something to scare them enough to make them want to submit to intrusive searches and body scanning. We are usually a few years behind the rest of the world here in Australia. But I can see the signs of this coming soon, what with black uniforms now being called for by the police for more "respect".

US raises full body scanners in fly-by visit over terrorism

DYLAN WELCH
January 11, 2010

THE push for full body scanners at Australian airports gained momentum yesterday during a visit by the deputy head of the US Department of Homeland Security, Jane Holl Lute.

She discussed the scanners with the federal Transport Minister, Anthony Albanese, during a one-hour briefing at Sydney Airport.

The meeting was part of a two-week, 10-country trip by Ms Lute to discuss stronger security measures after the attempted bombing of a US airline bound for Detroit on Christmas Day.

Ms Lute and Mr Albanese spent an hour discussing a combined response, including the prospect of using full body scanners at Australian airports.

The Federal Government conducted a six-week trial of the scanners at three airports in late 2008 to assess their effectiveness, but a report on that trial has yet to be handed to Mr Albanese. Like X-ray machines, the full body scanners can see through fabric to detect items hidden next to the skin. They can also see inside the body.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian who is accused of trying to blow up Northwest Airlines flight 253 on Christmas Day, had boarded the flight in Amsterdam. The Dutch Government has since announced it will install the scanners for passengers boarding US-bound flights.

Mr Albanese said he had briefed Ms Lute about the Federal Government's white paper on aviation security, which was made public last month.

''The challenge of dealing with the global terrorist threat requires an international response when it comes to aviation security and safety,'' Mr Albanese said.

''What's clear is Australia and our friends in the United States will continue to work closely to ensure that the threat of terrorism is met.''

The brief visit by Ms Lute was her seventh stop in the two-week trip, which aims at shoring up support for tighter security measures for US-bound flights.

Singapore and the United Arab Emirates were listed on her itinerary, and she had already visited England.

Airports to get body scanners

Posted Tue Feb 9, 2010 2:00pm AEDT
Updated Tue Feb 9, 2010 2:41pm AEDT

Body scanners will be rolled out at international airports from next year.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said the measures were recommended to the Government in the wake of the Christmas Day terrorism attack, when a man allegedly attempted to set off a bomb on a flight to Detroit in the US.

The body scanners will be rolled out at international airports from next year to screen travellers departing from Australia.

"The Government's priority is to maximise the safety and security of Australians and the Australian travelling public," Mr Rudd said.

Transport Minister Anthony Albanese acknowledged there were privacy fears surrounding the use of body scanners because they produce "near naked" images of passengers.

He said the Privacy Commissioner would be involved in the rollout.

"Body scanners are the best technology that is there to identify an item getting onto an aircraft, such as that that occurred on December 25," he said.

Other measures to be implemented include more training for security screening staff, increasing the number of explosive detection dogs, and putting more Australian officers at "last port of call" locations to Australia.

Over $50 million will also be spent to install cargo X-ray screening and explosive trace detection technology and about $11 million will be spent on better identifying visa applicants who could pose a security risk.

The Opposition's transport spokesman, Warren Truss, said he would seek more details from the Government about how it will address the privacy concerns associated with the full body scanners.

"They are real concerns and I can understand how members of the public would be anxious about going through one of these new machines," he said.

"On the other hand, travelling safe is a priority."

what bullshit, there has been no terrorist attack in australia, just foiled attempts, thus no reason to even start installing body scanners, this just sounds like Jane Holl Lute is trying to get aus to catch up with america. Their all apart of the NWO agenda, so its no suprise aus copies whatever draconian laws are implented in america.

I am so unhappy that I will no longer be able to travel, because I will NEVER consent to going through one of these. I feel like I live in the most STUPID planet on the cosmos.

Qantas test laptop scanning technology

QANTAS has been testing new technology that could see an end to a major irritation for business travellers: the hassle of digging laptops out of carry-on bags.

The technology takes advantage of new multi-view X-ray machines that provide a greatly enhanced display that is much clearer and more detailed than older machines, The Australian reports.

The airline conducted a trial of the "multi-view topography'' technology in Sydney and both Qantas officials and passengers liked what they found.

It made the security process both easier and quicker, eliminating delays caused by people who forget to take out their computer ahead of time and spend time fumbling with their bags.

"Basically, you don't have to take laptops out of the bags,'' a Qantas spokeswoman said.

No, on the other hand, privacy is the priority.  "Safety" is not applicable when what caused the body scanners was an inside job attack to fraudulently legitimize their rollout.  Privacy means:  "you leave me 100% the f*ck alone."  Privacy does not mean "we get to manage some of your personal details whether you like it or not."

Anyone forced to go through one of these should respond with constitutional force just as if you were being taken to a death camp, because there is no difference.  Someone tries to force me through one?  I'll do everything in my power to obey over ten supreme court decisions on the use of constitutional force when faces with kidnapping by a psychopathic degenerate serial killer.  Jane Lute is a scumbag enemy terrorist New World Order piece of sh*t traitor who needs to immediately be grand jury investigated for fraud against the people of the US, sedition, conspiracy, RICO and treason.

YOU SCUMBAGS BURN IN GOD-DAMNED HELL, 9/11 WAS A F*CKING INSIDE JOB, AND SO WAS EVERY OTHER TERROR ATTACK.  WHEN YOU START DIRECTLY VIOLATING PEOPLES INALIENABLE RIGHTS LIKE THIS, YOU BETTER GET READY TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT EXTERMINATE HUMANITY BY NAZI CYBERNETICS. THE SUREME COURT HAS RULED OVER 10 TIMES WHAT THE INALIENABLE RIGHT OF SELF DEFENSE AGAINST TYRANNY MEANS.  YOU SCUMBAG PIECES OF SH*T WERE SEVERELY WARNED IN THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, AND A LOT OF YOU MUST REALLY WANT TO GET KILLED BECAUSE YOU AREN'T FEARING THE INALIENABLE POWER FREE HUMANITY HAS OVER THEIR GOVERNMENT.  I'M TIRED OF THIS CRAP, WHY THE F*CK AREN'T YOU PIECES OF SHIT ARRESTED AND DHS'S HEADQUARTERS CONDEMNED AND SMASHED INTO DUST BY OUR ACTUAL CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT (NOT DICK CHENEY AND PARANOID PSYCHOPATH ROCKEFELLER'S TREASONOUS "CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT") FOR BEING AN ILLEGAL DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN OCCUPATION AND TREASON ON U.S. SOIL?

JANE LUTE HAS NO BUSINESS GOING TO OTHER COUNTRIES EITHER.  WHO THE F*CK DOES SHE THINK SHE IS, GLOBAL EMPEROR THAT CAN OVERRIDE OTHER NATIONS PRESIDENTS AUTHORITY?  WTF?

P.S.  More proof that Janet Napolitano is an absolute, pathetic, mutt-dog eyed, sh*tbag puppet.

WTF?  How about "incorrect response" by the public.

Know how you end major irritation like that?  You engage in mass non-compliance.

The NWO won't allow non-compliance?  Guess what, then it becomes a self defense issue, defending inalienable rights.

That means anyone oppressing me can rightfully be killed in self defense.

I'd like to see headlines in David Rockefeller's new world:  "300,000 brainwashed jackbooted thugs shot and killed worldwide in 48 hour period as millions of people refuse to allow their laptops to be scanned after they were physically attacked 1st or threatened with imprisonment."

This terror infrastructure is not allowed to be built.  It needs to be stopped, period.

That's a good question. Perhaps if you had a letter from a Doctor stating that you should not be exposed to excess radiation it might help. My wife used to travel with hypodermic needles and she was allowed to have them in carry on luggage because she had such a letter.

I haven't been back to the States since 9/11 so I can't speak about TSA with any authority.

Any of you members from the U.S. have some advice?

Miss Ukraine backs full-body scanners at airports

    * by Staff Writers
    * From: news.com.au
    * August 25, 2010 2:37PM

THE controversial airport full-body scanner has an unlikely supporter - Miss Ukraine.

Anna Poslavskaya, 23, said she had no problem with airport staff using the technology to see through her clothes.

Ms Poslavskaya expressed her support for the scanners during last night’s Miss Universe pageant when actress Jane Seymour asked: “How she felt about going through a scanner that can actually see through her clothes?”

Ms Poslavskaya said through an interpreter: "I think it's a very important question of security. If that helps us to save the lives of people, then I'm for it."

Due to be rolled out in Australia next year, the full-body scanners have raised privacy concerns including whether scanned images may breach child pornography laws in various countries.

US scientists have warned that radiation from controversial full-body airport scanners has been dangerously underestimated and could lead to an increased risk of skin cancer - particularly in children.

Full-body scans rolled out at all Australian international airports after trial

    By Linda Silmalis
    The Sunday Mail (Qld)
    February 05, 2012 1:00AM

PASSENGERS at airports across Australia will be forced to undergo full-body scans or be banned from flying under new laws to be introduced into Federal Parliament this week.

In a radical $28 million security overhaul, the scanners will be installed at all international airports from July and follows trials at Sydney and Melbourne in August and September last year.

The Government is touting the technology as the most advanced available, with the equipment able to detect metallic and non-metallic items beneath clothing.

It's also keen to allay concerns raised on travel online forums that passengers would appear nude on security screens as they had when similar scanners were introduced at US airports.

The technology will show passengers on a screen as stick figures of neither sex.

The system has approval from the Privacy Commission.

The images will also be discarded after each passenger has been cleared.

The proposed Aviation Security Amendment (Screening) Bill 2012 will make it mandatory for any passenger selected to participate in undergoing a body scan.

The "no scan, no fly" amendment closes a loophole in the legislation, which allows passengers to request a pat-down instead of having to pass through a metal detector.

Transport Minister Anthony Albanese said mandatory body scans were necessary to ensure the safety of airports.

"I think the public understands that we live in a world where there are threats to our security and experience shows they want the peace of mind that comes with knowing government is doing all it can," he said.

The Government has compared the strength of the radio waves emitted from the body scanners as the same as those from a regular mobile phone used several metres away.

Only passengers with serious medical conditions will be exempted from a scan.

More than 23,000 passengers took part in the body scanning trials from August 2-19 in Sydney and September 5-30 in Melbourne.

The scanners will be rolled out at eight international gateway airports in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

The Government has enlisted the same company, L-3 Communications, used in the US to supply the scanners.
