It's so simple and obvious that the source of ALL of this world's problems is the fear of, or lack of faith, in free markets. The "seemingly benign notion" of licensing a business destroys freedom because it gives the state the power to decide who gets to play and who does not. We need to get back to the principles of laissez faire, caveat emptor, personal responsibility, self-governance, due diligence and all of that good stuff. Shit, that's what America was founded upon!
