What does this part mean? Page 4 ‘‘In the case of household income (expressed as a percent of poverty line) within the following income tier: The initial premium percentage is— The final premium percentage is— Up to 133% 2.0% 2.0% 133% up to 150% 3.0% 4.0% 150% up to 200% 4.0% 6.3% 200% up to 250% 6.3% 8.05% 250% up to 300% 8.05% 9.5% 300% up to 400% 9.5% 9.5%’’; and
Looks to me like say if you make twice the poverty level..(200%) your going to pay about 6.3% of your income as a premium...for something.

I.R.S. the new Secret Police. House Ways and Means Republicans on Thursday assailed a provision in the proposed health care reform bill under consideration this week. Subcommittee on Oversight ranking member Charles Boustany (R-La.) said the IRS provision in the bill "dangerously expands, in an ominous way the tentacles of the IRS and it's reach into every American family," he said today during a press conference. "This is a vast expanse of power," he said. Boustany said the bill would allow the IRS to confiscate refunds if there are penalties for not buying health care. Lawmakers have questioned whether the IRS can handle the increased workload to oversee, administer and collect penalties for people who don't buy health insurance. "This is increasing tax liability and tax scrutiny," said Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Ill.). Ranking member Dave Camp (R-Mich.) said many Americans have already rejected the call for health care reform for other reasons and an expansion of the IRS should only add to call to "kill the bill." Taxpayers could be required to buy insurance under President Barack Obama’s reform proposal by 2014 or face penalties of roughly $325 per individual that the IRS would collect. Assuming it becomes law, the Congressional Budget Office expects the IRS will need roughly $10 billion over the next 10 years and nearly 17,000 new employees to meet its new responsibilities under health reform.
"We're going to fight to the end to see that this does not pass," Boustany said. http://thehill.com/blogs/on-the-money/domestic-taxes/87697-republicans-assail-irs-provision-in-health-care-bill-

Obamacare Bill Turns the IRS Into the Secret Police No three letters strike fear in the hearts of Americans that I-R-S. According to a new report by the GOP members of the House Ways and Means committee, If the Senate Obamacare bill gets passed by the house, the IRS is going to gets a lot more intimidating because it is going to get a slew of new responsibilities. They will be sort of like Barack Obama's not so secret health insurance police. “If the Democrats’ health care bill becomes law, the IRS could have to hire more than 16,000 additional agents, auditors and other workers just to enforce all the new taxes and penalties,” said Ways and Means Ranking Member Dave Camp (R-MI). “It is a dangerous expansion of the IRS’s power and reach into the lives of virtually every American.” Under the Individual Mandate Tax (IMT) provision in the bill, the part that forces you to purchase Obamacare whether you want it or not, the progressive Democrats make the IRS the chief enforcer for a new government-run health insurance system. The IRS would be in charge of verifying that every American taxpayer has obtained acceptable health coverage for every month of the year. If the IRS determines that a taxpayer lacks acceptable insurance for even a single month, then the IRS would impose a new tax on that taxpayer, even auditing the taxpayer and could assess interest and penalties on top of the tax. This is an unprecedented new role for the IRS – one that will inject the federal government even further into the lives of American families. The bill also gives the IRS some new "teeth" to strike fear in the hears of the people with, including: IRS agents verify if you have “acceptable” health care coverage
IRS has the authority to fine you up to $2,250 or 2 percent of your income (whichever is greater) for failure to prove that you have purchased “minimum essential coverage”
IRS can confiscate your tax refund
IRS audits are likely to increase
IRS will need up to $10 billion to administer the new health care program this decade
IRS may need to hire as many as 16,500 additional auditors, agents and other employees to investigate and collect billions in new taxes from Americans Nearly half of all these new individual mandate taxes will be paid by Americans earning less than 300 percent of poverty ($66,150 for a family of four). There goes that less than $250,000 thing the POTUS promised. And then the Pièce de résistance
The IRS is barred from imposing these taxes and penalties on illegal immigrants
Lets put it a different way, if you are here legally you are screwed, but if you are here illegally, hey don't worry, be happy. The report warns of the danger of giving the IRS double duty: The 2009 National Taxpayer Advocate’s report to Congress includes an extensive and ominous discussion on the risks and challenges involved in running social programs through the tax system. The report expresses concern that the IRS has neither the mission nor the expertise to perform such tasks. “When social program delivery is grafted to traditional IRS activities, there arises a potential conflict with the IRS’s traditional mission [of revenue collection],” the report states. The Taxpayer Advocate discusses these concerns in the context of refundable credits such as the earned income tax credit, but the analysis is especially timely considering that the IRS could soon be responsible for administering large portions of the nation’s health care system – a social program that dwarfs any of the existing refundable credits. The IRS' new powers will simply be another loss of freedom from the folks who brought you "hope and change." http://yidwithlid.blogspot.com/2010/03/obamacare-bill-turns-irs-into-secret.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FNWlS+%28YID+With+LID%29

Banker Bailout Bill Contains IRS Police State Provision
Kurt Nimmo on 06 October, 2008
InfoWars - Not only is the recently passed Banker Takeover bill larded up with pork, it also contains dictatorial provisions. In addition to making former Goldman Sachs chairman and current Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson an economic czar — a provision completely at odds with the Constitution — the bill grants police state powers to the IRS. Declan McCullagh writes for CNet:
The bailout bill also gives the Internal Revenue Service new authority to conduct undercover operations. It would immunize the IRS from a passel of federal laws, including permitting IRS agents to run businesses for an extended sting operation, to open their own personal bank accounts with U.S. tax dollars, and so on.
McCullagh notes this is nothing new. Beginning in 1988, under the so-called Anti-Drug Abuse Act, the IRS began functioning as a secret police force, but this authority was temporary and intermittent. In April of this year, senators Max Baucus (D) and Chuck Grassley (R) began an effort to make this authority permanent. “Undercover operations are an integral part of IRS efforts to detect and prove noncompliance. The temporary status of this provision creates uncertainty, as the IRS plans its undercover efforts from year to year,” the senators claimed. Earlier this week, the provision was buried in the Banker Takeover bill and is now law.
“There’s another section of the bailout bill worth noting,” McCullagh continues. “It lets the IRS give information from individual tax returns to any federal law enforcement agency investigating suspected ‘terrorist’ activity, which can, in turn, share it with local and state police. Intelligence agencies such as the CIA and the National Security Agency can also receive that information.”
The NSA, FBI, CIA, and military intelligence are less interested in “terrorists” than they are in domestic opposition to the government. In fact, the CIA is in the business of creating terrorists and the FBI habitually has its agents and operatives pretend to be terrorists (associated with the terrorist groups created by the CIA) to ensnare non-terrorists. The IRS worked with the FBI in the 1960s to go after antiwar and civil rights activists. In 2005, it “warned one of Southern California’s largest and most liberal churches that it is at risk of losing its tax-exempt status because of an antiwar sermon two days before the 2004 presidential election,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
In the weeks and months ahead, there will be no shortage of Americans who will organize and protest against the banker takeover, especially as negative economic aspects begin to eat them alive. As planned, the banker bailout will kick the devaluation of the dollar into hyperdrive as another few trillion dollars pile up on the already stupendous and destructive national debt. China, Saudi Arabia, and other countries currently holding huge quantities of U.S. dollars and U.S. dollar-denominated debt are now beginning the shift away from the dollar into other currencies. Russia is calling for an end to the dollar as the foundation of the global economy.
The result, as Dave Lindorff so aptly put it, will be that America will become “a smoking ruin, with Americans, like Weimar Germans before them, going shopping with wheelbarrows full of worthless green paper to exchange for a few days’ groceries.” In the meantime, however, millions of Americans will discover what the banksters are up to and will attempt to organize for change.
The banksters and their minions understand this full well and that is why they are installing their control grid at a record pace, systematically passing draconian legislation such as the Patriot Act, PDD51, the Military Commissions Act, and soon enough the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. It is no mistake a combat brigade, fresh from the killing field of Iraq, are now working with Northcom, once upon a time forbidden under the now moribund Posse Comitatus Act.
The IRS insertion in the bankster bill Bush signed into law is but yet another example. Additionally, in the months and years ahead, you will be required to fork over significantly higher taxes to pay not only for the putative bailout but also a passel of other globalist schemes, all designed to strip you of your wealth and turn you into another peon working on the globalist slave plantation now under construction.

EXCLUSIVE: Vice President Biden Says President Obama’s Rescheduled Trip Not a Bad Sign for Health Care Bill’s Prospects TAPPER: When you talked to these members of Congress, you told me what you tell them. What do you hear back from them? Do you hear back from venerable members who are worried this bill will cost them their jobs? BIDEN: Well, I yes. Some of them I say they say, well, Joe, look, man, I mean, you know, you guys haven't massaged this very well. And, you know, this thing has gone on so long, I don't know. And my response is, hey, man, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I'm telling you, you know, pre-existing, they're going to be covered. YOU KNOW WE'RE GOING TO CONTROL THE INSURANCE COMPANIES. You know people aren't going to lose their health care with their employer like is being advertised. So you've got to if you really want to make sure that you get the benefit of what you've already done, vote for the bill. And I look, Jake, I really, truly believe that the worst place to be, as a legislator, is being in the position where your side is being pummeled for an idea and there's misrepresentations about all the bad things the idea is going to generate. And then the idea fails and then they go, see, I told you Jake was for it. And had I not stopped, Jake, there would have been death panels. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2010/03/exclusive-vice-president-biden-says-obamas-cancelled-trip-not-a-bad-sign-for-health-care-bills-prosp.html

They are getting ready for a uprising in D.C. They installed a bunch of barricades around the Capitol complex last Friday... They are EXPECTING an uprising. It was quiet ~ not much press. Caught it on one of the sites I subscribe to. here it is: Last Friday morning, you could see workers beginning to set up barricades around the Capitol in preparation for the demonstrations they expect in response to the Democrats' autocratic actions. They mistakenly think that the Tea Party protests are temporary flareups that mere barricades can contain, but their legislative and executive tyranny is unleashing emotions that have the potential to rival the antislavery movement of the Civil War era and the Civil Rights protests of the 1960s. Having abandoned those transcendent moral principles upon which this nation was founded for a false ideology of their own imagining, these people have no understanding of the righteous fury that will build in this nation when her citizens see their government sanction morally reprehensible acts. http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/03/obamacare_is_tyranny_not_legis.html

The new package also promises new aid for colleges serving minority students, using money the government is supposed to save by no longer paying banks to make student loans. Included are annual payments of $100 million for schools with large numbers of Hispanic students, the same amount for colleges with many black students, and millions more for schools with large numbers of native Americans and other minorities.
this will have schools denying whites entry and making it look for black, hispanic students to get that extra fed $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Talk about discrimination.

White House has diverted $500M to IRS to implement healthcare lawThe Obama administration is quietly diverting roughly $500 million to the IRS to help implement the president’s healthcare law. The money is only part of the IRS’s total implementation spending, and it is being provided outside the normal appropriations process. The tax agency is responsible for several key provisions of the new law, including the unpopular individual mandate. Republican lawmakers have tried to cut off funding to implement the healthcare law, at least until after the Supreme Court decides whether to strike it down. That ruling is expected by June, and oral arguments last week indicated the justices might well overturn at least the individual mandate, if not the whole law. “While President Obama and his Senate allies continue to spend more tax dollars implementing an unpopular and unworkable law that may very well be struck down as unconstitutional in a matter of months, I’ll continue to stand with the American people who want to repeal this law and replace it with something that will actually address the cost of healthcare,” said Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.), who chairs the House Appropriations subcommittee for healthcare and is in a closely contested Senate race this year. The Obama administration has plowed ahead despite the legal and political challenges. rest: http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/health-reform-implementation/220475-white-house-has-diverted-500m-to-irs-to-implement-health-law
