I'm with you, though I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Inverness. I hail from the central belt (now in Aberdeenshire) and as much as I would like to return home it is obviously not going to be the place to be.   To the first poster with the wife in Thailand:  I think the best thing to do to prepare is to SIMPLIFY.  Use this "threat" as an excuse to pull your life together, get out of debt, get back to your love, find somewhere out of debt where you can live as a family...you shoulda done that a long time ago, life's too short.  sounds like you love her alot.  SO GET WITH HER! even if it's a one room house or a garden shed.  Seriously, I live in a garden shed. But it's paid for.  good luck

I got a home in Taylor as I said previously. I paid it off with a lawsuit I received back in 2003. I forsaw all this comming as they were handing out credit cards on the street corners and everyone and their brother wanted to refinance your home for you then they upped how much of your equity you could draw on and it was all very scary. So I've been telling everyone for years to work on paying your home of and get rid of your credit cards cause somethings going to happen and won't be good.

But I had a dream back at the end of April that kinda spooked me it was like a star of Bethlehem that flashed and a voice said "go to Desert" and woke me out of my sleep. Then a few weeks later just as I was falling asleep I heard a voice say "July 29th" and nothing since. now I'm not a big believer in that sort of stuff, I believe God talks to us through feelings or intuition type thing. So I'm at a loss with this and the closer we get to the date the more I feel a strong urge to go to Arizona. (only cause its the only desert I could get to and know of over here) Actually this is what set me on my truth seeking mission which chased my wife and alienated me from my family and friends. But the bible does say this will happen so I really don't know what to do, because satin can also come as a light. So I keep hoping I'll get something else before the 29th other wise I will assume it was a demonic thing. God I hope I am right. I'm not even sure I should be sharing this as I probably look more ridiculous than normal.

I don't think you sound ridiculous.  I've had similar experiences lately...not specific dates or anything like that.  But I've thought "maybe I should (do something in particular), then I have second thoughts about it and the next thing I know, something happens that leads me to exactly the thing I had thought about doing, but had second thoughts about....or sometimes whatever it was that was preventing me from doing something suddenly get's fixed.

All of these sorts of things, I believe, are signs that I am doing exactly what I should be.

Thanks, I am not afraid as much as confused like I said not a big believer in dream stuff but it was very real and the fact that it stuck cause I normally don't remember my dreams at all. But I believe in God which puts me in the class of believing in Satin, Lucifer, Azazel, or whatever you call him or the rest of the fallen angels, Nephlim (Demons) whatever they have a number of names.

I live about 10 miles from the appalachian mountains so I guess I would take my guns and food and find an abandoned cabin. Well since we are on the subject.......Last night I had back to back dreams, and honestly this past year ive had a sharp consistent increase in very bad dreams that felt wayyyy to real. Last night I had a dream, it was day time, and I was at my girlfriends apartment, her friends were there, we were all talking, and we heard a Loud explosion, it took us a good minute or two to figure out what it was as we all looked around. I then looked out the window, as I looked out I could see all the way to the ocean, and a see a mushroom cloud, I then look begin to shout "we got f**king nuked!" I was in a frozen panic, I only watched as the blast wave came towards us, I turned to my love and grabbed her hand I thought to myself "I cannot believe this is how its going to end" and I just stood there, eventually I just woke myself up, it was way to much for me. After that dream I had another dream, Everything was dark, no sun, nothing, I was in my city, and was out and about, everything was different, and awkward. I remember talking to some people, and I felt a very evil presence. I had to use the ATM to get money, and as I remember the only way to get money wasnt with a ATM card no more, it was a evil form, a bad way. And as I took the money out, it was so fake, it seemed like fake money, and I remember I ooked at the money many times and each time I looked the money changed its look. I dunno man just to much has been going on lately, and Its so scary, I dunno if I should start shouting out to people at malls, or if I should just get the f**k outta dodge.

When the shit hits the fan, , the dollar decline, joblessness, gas, food pices, homelesness, and the progression of the same.
Realisticaly riots, would be a good indication of the first step into Martail law being declared. Citizens would begin sacking markets, etc. Mob violemce would begin, moreso in cities.

This would bring down upon us, Martial Law. From what I have attemtped to keep up with, Homeland Security would be involved, Blackwater would be Deputized,FBI, certain military units, and perhaps even NATO, signifying foreign involvment.

For those who have some financial recourses, plan a move, elimate air travel, and set up a back door. Transfer funds slowly to this lacation.

For those who are stuck in the middle of the maddness. The badge cariers will be given full power over the people, meaning they can enter your dwelling and search, the constituion will not be available. So, keep your food stoked for in home use, but prepare a cache in another area, a secure area, food, camping equipment, waeapons, clothing, first aid, hand powered radio all bans, bury it if you have to, 50 gallon drums are usefull. Keep nothing in your home that may bring heat,example- weapons, outdoor camping gear gear, etc. Don't think you can hide a metal item, they have metal detectors. In other words, slowly build up a secure area for your family away from the center of violence.
Stay clear of mobs, they are infiltrated, instigators will be involed, and they are easy targets. Their is no mob violence with a plan, easy money for the Gustapos. Fit in, keep you head down and stay in touch with like minded folks you trust.
This is not the cowardsway out, this is survival to live and have another day planning for an organized solution.

I saw the first hand the success of Guerilla tactics. Fit in, work at day, organized resistance in the night. I won't go  on about this , but one point, guys who beleive they will go out with guns blazing, will go out horizontily.

Thanks for the advice.... We own a farm on her land, totally self sufficient so im ok in that sense. And as for debt... Well i stopped paying the financial elite many years ago, As i told my solicitor "They bank can kiss my ass"  My problem is though if this kicks off while im back in the UK i may not get back home to Thailand....
