Rock - you are paranoid man.  lol   but i agree with you on a lot of what you said.  a lot of people don't think the end is near.  but they don't realize that wars were fought with swords many years ago and now countries use nuclear bombs

I think that 'growing your own' is important. The people who will tend a garden will prosper best.

every year we have a patch of  onions, cucumbers, peppers, lettace, brussel sprouts  Shocked, spinach, and more.

Hell, we even have a close friend raise our cattle for us.

That's the way to go man~! I wish I could set that up in my situation at teh moment. I'm at my wit's end, I can't stop thinking about the fluoride vapor coming off my shower, or the poisons in my water, or the toxic preservatives in my frankenfood...

If you get wounded or break a leg you will need a painkiller to help. You can make a very strong opiate tea with legal poppy bulbs that you can order from the internet or get at a flower shop. What you do is 1. crack the poppy bulb and empty out the seeds. 2. shred the bulbs into as fine a powder as you can. 3. Heat water till it simmers not boils. 4. Add the shredded poppies to the water and let them soak for about 20 minutes. 5. Strain the poppy pulp out and save the water. 6. Drink the water and it will have the effect of codeine or vikidin. Be careful because this is a powerful drug. Only use it when necessary.

Nonsense.

There is only one poppy that produces opium, and it's not that deocrative kind they sell on the internet.

Just make a mental list of foods to stay away from that contain lots of fluoride.  Fluoride from your shower is the least worrying source.  The effects are negligible.

The fluoride you need to worry about are in foods.  Find out which fruits are sprayed with fluoride based pesticides (Stop eating grapes).  Stop eating meat (Which are doused with fluoride to preserve them), and start eating fish (But not tuna.  Get used to sardines, salmon, and herring).

Next, regarding GMO.  Fruits that are GMO'd to make them BIGGER (Tomatoes, squashes, etc..) are OK.  Foods that are GMO'd to make them produce their own pesticides (Corn, soy) are OUT.

Any processed food that has corn starch, "high fructose corn syrup", corn syrup, soy protein, soy lecithin (Such as margarine, coffee whiteners, pasta sauce, etc... wtc...), stay away from, because they will disturb the symbiot bacteria culture in your stomach.

Nuts are excellent of course.  Buy bags and bags of almonds and roast them in your oven.  You can make a delicious vegetarian middle eastern food staple called "Za'atar", which is high in protein, and a great meat substitute.

You CAN win.  Keeping Kosher all my life and switching to a fish vegan diet for moral reasons definitely helped my discipline in fighting the culinary war against the new world odor.

you have to have a generator-
must have (10) 5 gallon gas container to get you to the next gas station
must have a couple of water drums

get you a diesel 250 truck... and get that convertor put into it for alternate choices of fuel

you have to have an rv trailer-

ideally a solar power generator as big as you can afford to build

My suggestion would be have you done everything in your power to divert "When the Crap Hits the Fan?"  Have you really tried to wakeup the neighbors, friends and relatives?  Sure plenty are resistant and always will be but this 'head to the hills' concept came in the early 90's also and nothing happened, then it was billed in the Year 2000 Y2k, in which irrational computers were going to create havoc and possible nuke strikes--and nothing happened.  Then another 2001-2003 due to 9-11 happened and were still here.  Is the crap hits the fan concept an excuse not to do things and run away or the only option on the table?  How do I know Cointelpro isn't programming 'When the Crap Hits the Fan" theory to create burnout in you?  Wink

thank god we closed our bait and tackle store many years ago. i have boxes and boxes of hooks lines sinkers ect. and a 10/22 ruger and live way way out in the woods right on a lake with plenty of caves and fresh water. im sure i can adapt to living a cavemans life. was also very good at setting traps in the army. have about 30 or 40 small game fur traps. if it hits the fan i feel any radios will be useless you think a night fire is easily noticed try using an electronic device. im sure they can pick that up for miles as well.

I suggest learning to grow your own food. As an organic dairy farm, I'll have enough food for awhile to provide for my family & friends.  Learning to garden and save your seeds is essential.  The majority of folks think their food comes from the store.

Hello My Brothers - God I am worried about all this
Look why are we ready just to leave everything we know and have worked so hard and long to get?
Hey I have no where to go I was born here in Kalifornia and I don't want to live in the desert like a rat.
I fear we all missed the whole point about being AMERICANS and Standing Up to These Traitors. Look so you all think that your going to haul all your gear to some wooded paradise and live the primitive life off the land? Are you kidding? Do you know what that would be like?
Now add to that that there are going to be others out in your areas Others Just like YOU AND ME, and EVERYONE is armed ready to fight.....Yeah that is going to be Great.
So many are saying I got my AR15 and case o ammo and year of beans ect-Lets see ya put it on your back and carry it down the street not alone to the backwoods or up a mountain.
Some if not most have never spent more than a night or two in the wilderness and few even know how bad it can get not alone if you have your wife and kids with you. Those who make it for a few weeks or better will be few and no one is going to be happy with the bastard who drug them out to this "FREEDOM"
Look Let me Be Clear Here-Cowards Run To Save There Skin When True Men Will Stand And Fight.
Are you to think that even if you can make it for some time that they will not come for you? Or just bio-nuke-microwave you to death? How will you act seeing your kids or wife bleed to death? Kids starving, scared and the never ending cold and sickness? If that is not bad how about the NOT KNOWING WHAT IS GOING ON EVERYWHERE ELSE?    IT WILL BE HELL-FACE IT

WE HAVE TO STAND UP TO THIS CRAP WHERE WE LIVE, WE HAVE TO STAND BY THAT NEIGHBOR WE DO NOT LIKE AND FIGHT BESIDE HIM THE ENEMY COMING FOR HIM IS COMING FOR YOU NEXT.
This is not a Rambo movie or any other movie were talking about real bullets and real blood, Just so you know that people do not die like they do in movies they scream out in pain-beg for help-cry and soil themselves. Some take a long time to die and this could be you or your wife worse case would be your kids.

Me Personally I would rather fight in my home knowing that this will be my last day on earth and that I am protecting my family as best I can, Even if no one comes to help and when I fall my sons will pick up my rifle and fight on to protect his brother and mother when we meet in heaven and I stand before God I can say that we fought the devils and did what we thought was right-WE WERE NOT HEROIC WE FOUGHT FOR OUR LIFE AS AN EXAMPLE TO OUR NEIGHBORS THERE IS FAR MORE TO FEAR THAN DEATH.

I hope that this reply is readable and you guys understand that we have to stand together as one and know that if we fail to do so we will be killed and our children enslaved for life. I pray I have gotten Through to someone here.

great post brother Smiley     i for one am not going anywhere.tyranny did not come overnite in germany ,gradualism is the rule.  unless they want us to revolt enmass. which is not out of the question either ,as they can choose there time.but if Texas or Montana or the lokatas bug out ---iam there.Iam all for fighting on your feet ,not dying on your knees.think on this-   if every Jew in germany would have taken at least one gestapo with them.{shot em in the face when they came to the door to get em.} the Holocaust would have been a revolution.the freedom fighters who are looking for a spark plug keep missing the boat. they could of  gathered  at ed and Elaine browns house or in Texas at the church to fight the tyranny.  there will be many others in the coming months though. It's an interesting question whether to stay stationary or to become nomadic. Both have their ups and downs. I can't decide which is  best right now. I mean, you need stationary areas to store supplies, but being nomadic would better assist one in keeping the "hounds" off his/her trail. Moving around more means using more resources, calories, fuel, etc., but staying put invites the masses to come, unless you are so well hidden that you can't be found.

It's a tough call for me...

Get involved in your local community and help to shape it into your ideal community.

Get to know your local reps in local, state and federal governments. Help the ones you like.

Don't take the live-in-a-ditch option unless you absolutely have to.

Some of us will be nomadic and some will defend from home. Some will be in the country and some in the towns.

We are grassroots, tenacious, everywhere.

Help each other.

Yeah see when you're hiding in a hole living on k rations and they're living in their gated castles getting hookers and room service it really teaches them not to screw with you.

That's how the founders would have wanted it.

We just need at least 10,000 hypocondriacs hiding in holes obsessing about feeding their faces and drinking flouride free water. That is KEY man.

Then we need another brigade in charge of avoiding conflict and trying to stay alive as long as possible and we'll be all set.

Just to play devil's advocate for a moment, and to illustrate my confusion over the matter, one counterpoint I could state to your post is that the longer a group stays stationary, the greater the odds that they will be discovered. Unless that group has armor, air defense, ground defense, and a fortified position, once found the Stormtroopers will come in force and then, ALSO, it's off to the FEMA camp or the gunfight.

I'm not saying you are right or wrong, I'm just trying to illustrate that I cannot reason a strategy to support either movement or settlement.

New here as a poster but I read this forum everyday.  You guys got me scared sh@#less.....Just a question to whoever is listening.....would it be feasible to live in my boat house if things start to go crazy.....im not on either coast line but Lake Michigan is where the boat is docked.....only thing i'm wondering is when food runs out what the heck to do.....I listen to Alex Jones and I ordered a bunch of that emergency food, enough to feed my family for about 3 to 4 months......I don't have any guns but I figure I can go get one or two (one for me and one for the spouse).....it's crazy because I though I was the only one scared from whats taking place but at work there are at least a dozen people who discuss things like this pretty frequently.....do you guys think its a safe idea to live on a boat while all hell breaks loose on land?

I have mulled over this idea as well. There would be certain advantages: Wind for propulsion and energy, the sun for energy and solar cooking, and the ability to travel beyond the barrier into international waters. But then I think of the Coast Guard and shiver...The Minnow Would Be Lost...

For those who are getting tooooo upset, there is hope on the horizon, the many problems we face notwithstanding:

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2007/12/11/solar-energy-soon-to-be-cheaper-than-coal.aspx

Solar Energy Soon to be Cheaper Than Coal

The Nanosolar company is working to build the world’s largest solar cell factory in California (slated to be in full production in 2008), and the world’s largest panel-assembly factory in Germany.

They have successfully created a solar coating that is as thin as a layer of paint, while at the same time reducing the cost of production from $3 a watt to only 30 cents per watt. For the first time in history, solar power will be cheaper than burning coal.

Nanosolar won the Popular Science Innovation of 2007 award, and they plan on producing their first product next year. They have been able to reduce the price of solar power by 90 percent. This has the potential to radically change the equation when it comes to choosing your energy sources.

Air-Powered Car Coming to U.S. in 2009 to 2010 at Sub-$18,000, Could Hit 1000-Mile Range

The CityCAT, already being developed in India (bottom left), will be available for U.S. production in three different four-door styles. But it's the radical dual-energy engine, with a possible 1000-mile range at 96 mph, that could move the Air Car beyond Auto X Prize dreams and into American garages.

The Air Car caused a huge stir when we reported last year that Tata Motors would begin producing it in India. Now the little gas-free ride that could is headed Stateside in a big-time way.

Zero Pollution Motors (ZPM) confirmed to PopularMechanics.com on Thursday that it expects to produce the world’s first air-powered car for the United States by late 2009 or early 2010. As the U.S. licensee for Luxembourg-based MDI, which developed the Air Car as a compression-based alternative to the internal combustion engine, ZPM has attained rights to build the first of several modular plants, which are likely to begin manufacturing in the Northeast and grow for regional production around the country, at a clip of up to 10,000 Air Cars per year.

And while ZPM is also licensed to build MDI’s two-seater OneCAT economy model (the one headed for India) and three-seat MiniCAT (like a SmartForTwo without the gas), the New Paltz, N.Y., startup is aiming bigger: Company officials want to make the first air-powered car to hit U.S. roads a $17,800, 75-hp equivalent, six-seat modified version of MDI’s CityCAT (pictured above) that, thanks to an even more radical engine, is said to travel as far as 1000 miles at up to 96 mph with each tiny fill-up.

We’ll believe that when we drive it, but MDI’s new dual-energy engine—currently being installed in models at MDI facilities overseas—is still pretty damn cool in concept. After using compressed air fed from the same Airbus-built tanks in earlier models to run its pistons, the next-gen Air Car has a supplemental energy source to kick in north of 35 mph, ZPM says. A custom heating chamber heats the air in a process officials refused to elaborate upon, though they insisted it would increase volume and thus the car’s range and speed.

“I want to stress that these are estimates, and that we’ll know soon more precisely from our engineers,” ZPM spokesman Kevin Haydon told PM, “but a vehicle with one tank of air and, say, 8 gal. of either conventional petrol, ethanol or biofuel could hit between 800 and 1000 miles.”

Those figures would make the Air Car, along with Aptera’s Typ-1 and Tesla’s Roadster, a favorite among early entrants for the Automotive X Prize, for which MDI and ZPM have already signed up. But with the family-size, four-door CityCAT undergoing standard safety tests in Europe, then side-impact tests once it arrives in the States, could it be the first 100-mpg, nonelectric car you can actually buy?

I think we need to be prepared. There is no better way of easing your own suffering than a little preplanning. Good gear and equipment goes along ways, I always hear people talking about just running to the hills but without the right gear that is not realistic or sustainable in many places. Folks need to be in shape and able to shoot move and communicate. Might want to brush up on your hunting and gathering as well. I recommend at least 2-3weeks a year in the field becoming familar with your local surroundings and what resources you have at your fingertips.

Can someone recommend a good radio that can handle moisture and has good battery life.  Also, a hand crank in case battery goes.

I recommend getting a hand crank flashlight with LED lights.  I have 4 of them.

21 - April 26, 2008. Consumers Falling Behind Utility Bills

Until these hundreds of thousands of laid-off Americans and home owners who have lost the roof over their heads can find work, they won't pump money into the economy. Unemployment benefits coffers are being hit hard. Not to worry, though. Last week in a press conference, Bush crowed that the 'economic stimulus' checks will boost the economy! He forgot to tell the camera and the factually challenged media too ignorant to ask the right questions, that every one of those 'stimulus' checks are debt. There is no money in the U.S. Treasury. Congress had to borrow every penny from the privately owned "Federal" Reserve; the staggering interest will double the total "package."

This is pure insanity, but Bush wasn't finished. This war criminal in the White House wants you to work your fingers to the bone today at your multiple jobs to fund $770 MILLION in global food aid. There is NO authority in the U.S. Constitution for Congress to steal from the people's purse to give away to the world, yet it will happen unless you get on the phone and call your congress critter and tell them, Hell no! How can Congress approve this when there is NO money in the treasury, not to mention it is unlawful under the U.S. Constitution? If this abomination happens, Congress will simply write another hot check and force the interest onto your back, your children and grand babies. When will enough be enough for you?

Of course, all of the blame cannot be laid at Bush's door step. The cowards in Congress (except Ron Paul and a few past congressmen who were willing to take on the FED, i.e., Louis McFadden, Charles A Lindbergh, Sr., Wright Patman ) are the ones to shoulder the blame. It is their refusal to abolish the central bank and return to real constitutional money that has sunk America. Yet, the masses continue to vote the same craven individuals back into office because that incumbent will continue stealing from the public treasury to appease the mobs.

There's been a lot of talk on the Internet that people will take their check and buy garbage from the communist Chinese, which is true. Another nail in our coffin. Others think it would be a good idea for everyone to buy gold with their "rebate" check. An excellent idea, but millions of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck with nothing left by payday. This hot check from Congress will mean paying utilitiy bills, buying gas or food. I spent about ten minutes reading stories from average Americans and what they're going to do with this windfall. A good indicator of just how bad off people are. Mark my words: the inflation you're seeing is going to morph into hyper-inflation. While you're drowning, Bernanke will continue to make sure the banks are bailed out.

Last week, the smarmy, Neil Cavuto, (FAUX News) ended his program with news that the violent, sex filled Grand Theft Auto video game was going on sale that day. Cost: $60 bux a pop with anticipated sales of 9 MILLION copies and since this was discretionary spending, maybe the economy isn't as bad as everyone thinks! While uttering this nonsense, the screen showed a clerk swiping a credit card to pay for this trash. (Grand Theft Auto IV review: Intense Violence, Blood, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Partial Nudity, Use of Drugs and Alcohol.)

Debt is not prosperity. When you have a full 1/3rd of credit card holders defaulting, what you have are millions of people who have no disposable cash to even make minimal payments. What they have is going to buy food and absolute necessities. I have little respect for Ronald Reagan, but he was right about 'trickle down' and the effect on the economy. What you see above is killing this economy and that doesn't include the massive costs the states are and will continue to incur as crime increases, the cost of funding the mobs and our elderly Americans (in the tens of millions) who have no health care, no retirement care set aside and basically depend on the state for their food, housing and medication.

I can't tell you what to do, but I've known all of this was coming since 1991 when I 'woke up.' I urge everyone: if you don't have a plan for survival for you and your family - and don't forget elderly parents - I hope you will make this a priority THIS WEEK. Regular readers of my columns know I have been harping on this for years. The time is here and now. Remember Katrina? The government didn't fail. The people weren't ready for disaster and the suffering was horrific.

And just when 'third world' farmers can get the highest price for the food they do have, in comes the 'free' food. So how much will the poor farmer get for his crop? NUTHIN!

I call this the 'AIDS Economy'. Food-aid, and every other kind of aid destroys a society or prevents it from developing.

And the 'free' food will be produced by prisoners and illegal immigrants on corporate-owned farms.
