What is the travel speed of a radio-active cloud for a thermonuclear explosion let's say 10 times as powerful as Nagasaki, or maybe 100 times more powerful? Let's say from the Middle-East to Norway?
Does the wind travel around the world from East to West or the other way around?
I have no idea how powerful their wmd's are. Neutron bombs are much smaller and produce no clouds I suppose?

If you live near water, that is an excellent plan. But boats only travel so far on a tankful.

same with a vehicle. unless you bring x-tra. i always carry enough to get me 500-1000 miles if needed. after that, it's just walk away from vehicle, boat, whatever. i always like the sailboat idea also.

I could go squat a mega cruise ship, there are quite a few coming my way all the time... but I don't think it would save me from anything. Not even any God can save me if there is real trouble.

Not even any God can save me if there is real trouble. that's kinda' defeatism to me. it's in my nature to prepare, fight back, and figure out how, what, when and where this all may go down. options are important to contemplate.

It is an unfortunate fact that most of the people who live east of the Mississippi river are just flat gonna be out of luck and trapped in the cities.

......he's gunna' dump the boat in the river or atlantic and head up the coast.
If he gets a warning. Problem is he wont. NY would be hit from several directions by different delivery systems. But the primary one being a sub off the New England coast. The "officials" in America and NY will have literally no warning and no time to pass on any warning to the people. Your friend's only real insurance of safe getaway is to leave when tensions are high and hostilities seem imminent.

We are not discussing any bug out plan in a nuclear scenario, more like financial implosion, Martial Law, trucks stop rolling, no food, no jobs, no money.
In a nuclear situation, tuck-n-roll...it'll all be over in a second.

you love the west, along with 100 million other people who are going to be doing the same exact thing as you. no matter where you are, you're still on earth. if the OP is talking about nuke-war there isn't any distance you can drive to escape the fall-out. then everything you eat and drink will be irradiated. i'm more worried about a global food shortage. and foreign nations buying out everything we have.

For those of you looking for info about what is coming, this may be useful... Here is my response concerning this dude that seems highly compromised... Not a pretty outlook he portrays.
He is possibly being manipulated by the Fabian faction of NWO because he seems to direct all of his energy against Neo-Cons and almost none against the threats of socialism. Either way, I think his stuff is worthwhile if you know the two sides of the coin, and I also think that he lets a lot sift through concerning current events (probably against the wishes of those trying to control his messages). But his predictions/specific warnings so far have been far from precision accurate; it is a good thing that I was more interested in his info than his predictions/warnings. I like when AJ had him on the show and he had to point out all of the obvious gaps in his thinking. Alan Watt does not see him as too credible, and Alan Watt is definitely a far superior source of knowledge.
If you keep in mind the possible Fabian slant, things seem to make more sense.
I also love the dancing Rockefeller monkey, that was priceless.

I've spent quite a while knowing what is coming and spreading the truth. With the exception of my mother, my attempts to wake people have fallen on deaf ears even my husband has never given a second thought to the truth I've shown him. Luckily, I handle the finances and he's trusted me with all that I've done to prepare. But still he's always takes the attitude that I'm overreacting, but if it makes me feel better to "prepare" then I should do it.
I think I've been hanging on to that little bit of false hope that maybe we're all over reacting, maybe it's not as bad as we think it is.
I have to tell you that today, it hit me....we've been dead on all the time.....and it scares the hell out of me all of the sudden!!... why??
We DO know what's coming, we are NOT over reacting.
I've been on an emotional rollercoaster all day, for once it doesn't feel good to be right.
I was hoping I'd never have to say "I told you so" to those who wouldn't listen.
I know I won't sleep tonight.

I know how you feel. My wife thinks I'm a total nutjob, but everytime something happens I just give her a grin and I think she may realize I know more of what is going on than she gave me credit for. so many here seem to think we have a lot of different little conspiracies going around and if you follow anither than the one you do, you must be crazy. All these conspiracies are connected to each other, they are all related to each other, stepping back and looking at the big picture you can see how it is unfolding. Religion, NWO, project blue beam and HAARP, ufo's are all connected. The NWO are using some religions to further their agenda of bringing the end upon us, they may not be christian, but they appear to believe in the dark side and the occult, they can ise religion to steer people in their direction, throwing aliens and ufo's into the mix adds a different dimention to the steering of people into the direction that they want to follow. People are talking about chips in our bodies, these relate to the mark of the Beast, weather you believe in religion or not, the mark means that you will be owned, no buying or selling without it. Who is to say that aliens will not be used to help impliment this plan, who is to say that a world war will not help usher in this new one world goverment/ one world religion. everything is related to each other, it does not matter if you do not believe in 1 aspect, as long as you are aware and can connect the dots infront of you. I hear people buying Gold and silver, what good will it be if you still need to be chipped to make transactions? it does not matter what you accumulate now, it will be taken away and you will just be another slave of the powes that be. They will not care how much gold you have, they have killied millions already in search of wealth. The only way to beat the NWO is to live without money. if you have nothing, they can take nothing

I have known for a long time , over 30 years . I also worked for "them" for 23 years as a contractor but was always hoping the thing would never come about . I have few friends left , no great loss . I have had women I dated call the cops on me when I started talking about what was going on . I now date by the hour . I have been attacked several times when talking to people about what is going on which did not turn out well at all for the idiots that tried to school me . My family thinks I am insane . At least my dogs love me and will listen intently until they fall asleep . There are days I wish I could get in a time machine and go back in time and be born in a different family that didn't know what the plan was so I could be a stupid f**king sheep that is happy and goes to work and comes home to a wife and kids , if only I had access to a time machine .
The anger burns hot within me and so does the hatred of the people that cause what is going on . I don't sleep worth a shit and have nightmares of things from the past although I never hurt a innocent person . I sleep with several loaded guns in bed with me in a room that is armor plated with open areas where I can shoot through the wall . I research things every day and that just takes me deeper .
I don't know how Alex has managed to keep his marriage and family together as this has destroyed my whole family . I deal with it but the thing I live can't really be called a life , it is more like a existence . The only reason I am still alive is that I have some f**king payback I want to dish out in the end and that is what keeps me going . I am getting tired of waiting so bring it on .

4 months into this monstrosity now. At least I know what I have to look forward to by this thread. It is depressing, but that's the way it's gonna be. I've been diagnosed as bipolar since 2001(interesting year to go nuts). I've always dealt with insanity by adhering to what sparks my interests at heart, but now I'm not sure what sparks my interests at heart, and the feeling of insanity escapes me after awakening to the real insanity of our world.
I'm now obsessed with researching information, posting on this forum, listening to anything anti-nwo, pro-truth, etc. I don't even feel like picking up my guitar anymore, but rather want to go read Jesse Ventura's book to see what he has to say about it all, or sign in to Prison Planet Forum to make sure the world hasn't ended.
I literally was at a friend's house the other day and had to sign in, because I feared it might all be ending right there as he and I were getting stoned. It is some radical stuff this information, but that's the way it's gonna be. I'm gonna "jam/rap" with people that know the truth, turn on as many minds as I can, and try my best to not worry about covering my ass in the process.

Hmm, would be worth having a dedicated sub-forum for posts like these... that deal with depression, ostracism, alienation, obsession, frustration, supporting each other, and psychology in general.
As I am not American, and my country is fairly insignificant in the geo-political sense, I am somewhat insulated from many of these anxieties/problems, but the thing that really gets to me every time is how horrifically the truth is abused in this world. To some extent, it is natural human behaviour, but when people accept petty lies, they are also more susceptible to big lies. People just don't understand how utterly destructive even the simplest of lies can be. Mark Twain once said, "A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes."
I think we have to realise that there is a danger of wallowing too deeply in this hotbed of truth-seeking and doomsaying though. The first thing to remember is that the moment you think you know exactly what's going on in the world, you're wrong. Take some comfort from the fact that you are still ignorant of a great many things and probably always will be (insofar as ignorance can be comforting, that is). Also, it is dangerous to generalise and collectivise about fabled enemies, such as 'them/they'... are we not critical of those who perceive collectives like Al-Qai'da as the perennial bad guys? We must remember that all humans are as individual as they are collective. I understand that it's convenient to think in collective terms for brevity and descriptive purposes, but history has shown how significant individuals can be... so we should remind ourselves that we are not faced with some amalgamated and aligned collective who think and act with perfect unity (unless we've been infiltrated by the Borg that is), and that for us to encourage others to think critically and independently and with skepticism of the establishment, one individual at a time, is our best weapon... far more effective than a bullet.
Escapism is, for me at least, the best way to deal with a build-up of anxiety/anger/obsession over this stuff. If for some reason I could never play another computer game again, or read/view another fictional work of literature/film, I would probably top myself. Humans may have taken reality and created *this*, but there are other worlds to occupy and stimulate the mind, as intricate and meaningful as your own imagination desires. If you spend too much time concerned with how things are in this world (though some level of grounding is advisable), and allow your imagination to atrophy, you will be that much easier to control, whether you reject the would-be controllers or not.
If the world does end, or slides painfully down into a dark place, you won't feel any satisfaction at being right... you'll wish you'd had the resolve to strive for an alternate outcome, and/or that you'd spent the time available to you engaged in activities that fueled your vitality (as opposed to those that drain it).
I am change. You are change. We are change. Why attempt to predict the future when you can change its course... and we will... in fact we already are.

No need to be depressed, if you are properly positioned to handle a stock market collapse at the moment. If your company laid you off or went bankrupt, it's horrible. If you are in serious credit debt i am sorry, you should have researched what was happening in the economy when everyone in this forum were talking about it over 1.5 years ago. I dont have much money but , i am betting the dollar will NOT collapse completely and i hedged about 5500 into iShares Silver trust, operated by barclays whom are not in serious trouble at the moment at all and had positive earnings so far this year. I purchased the SLV shares (32) of them for about 5500, then it spit 10 to 1, so i now have 320 shares. silver and gold tanked due to market manipulations and i lost about 2000 but it is surely coming back right now. I'll wait and if/when i see any signs of a Barclays collapse i'll liquidate it immediately. A bit risky but, i dont have enough money to go out and purchase 20,000$ worth of survival gear and physical gold/silver bullion, so to me its the next best thing. I am thinking i can definitely make some inflation profit on it before we have hyperinflation.

Wow. On a thread about Homeland deployments for active duty military, I was asked advice from Godsforce on what to do if StormTroopers broke down his door at 4am w/family inside. I'm ashamed I wouldn't do nothing for him, even if neighbor..wow, it's like I finally came at the moment of truth of why I'm on PP, because this is my outlet, I'm no Patriot or Truther, I'm a runner making every excuse under the sun to let the kids, women and children and fathers die in this country. I hide in this corner of my room posting not on this forum but doing other things as well not beneficial at all for my family, nation or future. Damn, I'm done w/my redundant excuses of "when others wakeup" & "when the time is right" and "when the sh$% hits the fan" they were just excuses for me, not real reasons. I'm a coward, someone tell me what to do! Godsforce, I cannot really answer what you should do, sorry. Even what I would do is fuzzy, and with the family option--just complicated.
I wish we could rely on fellow "patriots"--we cannot. They will post about it, they will get mad about it; as we see in many a post, they refuse to do anything about it because they don't want to end up like the victim, sure many talk a good talk including myself. Look at Waco, look at Ruby Ridge, look at Kent State, look at the many things this day, last week, and in the past that usurped, imprisoned or killed US citizens because they were in the way of the NWO. I'm a coward Godsforce, and I have plenty of company to hide in, misery loves company? Cowards like coward company. Sure we will talk about when the "time" is right, when "more" will wakeup, it's just a delay, an excuse, a procrastination.

A ton of great ideas. I tried to sift through these 15 pages of questions/answers.
Has anyone here bought long-term storable foods? efood or another company? What do you think?
I'm close to making a purchase but wanted to get your opinions.
It depends on what my exit plan is to how much I get. If I'm leaving town then it makes more sense to get the 2-3 month supply. If I'm staying then the 1 year supply sounds good.
I will tell you now before anyone posts...I don't have the time or patience right now to buy my own food and try and store it myself. I would screw it up and ruin the food.
I've saved money and want to make a purchase now.

I agree, the crap has already begun hitting the fan and the media continues to polish it while the public buys it and we are trying to convince them it's a turd. Even a monkey knows to throw a turd when it's in his hand.

I've saved money and want to make a purchase now. I'm in exactly the same position as you are, ready to pull the trigger on some storable food. I can't decide between three "grab and go's" (total ~6 month supply) or just buying a full years' worth all in one pop. I kind of like the grab and go's because you can keep adding to your supply 2 months worth at a time as you can afford it. I'm getting very close to making a purchase. **Just as a side note** I noticed yesterday that Berkey Light water purifiers are on a 5-6 week backorder.
