To quote Alex, " You always win when you stand up and fight". I would rather die in the streets defending my country rather than run and hide. If we all join together we can destroy them. When they come for the guns, its time to fight!
You mean, like this? A hundred and eighty were challenged by Travis to die By the line that he drew with his sword when the battle was nigh. Any man that would fight to the death cross over, But him that would live better fly And over the line went a hundred and seventy nine Hey Santa Anna we're killing your soldiers below, That men where ever they go, will remember the Alamo Bowie lay dyin', but his powder was ready and dry Flat on his back Bowie killed him a few in reply And young David Crockett was singin' and laughin', With gallantry fierce in his eyes For God and for freedom, a man more than willin' to die Hey Santa Anna we're killing your soldiers below, that men where ever they go, will remember the Alamo And then they sent a young scout from the battlements bloody and loud, With the words of farewell from a garrison valiant and proud "Grieve not little darlin' my dyin', if Texas is sovereign and free, We'll never surrender and ever with liberty be" Hey Santa Anna we're killing your soldiers below, that men where ever they go, will remember the Alamo

Why do all you American's always panic. Hysteria is a form of fear which is what they want and they haven't even started it yet. You were the only country in the world where all of you panicked and believed the propoganda about the cold war so much so you built nuclear bunkers in your gardens, fear is the fuel of the Matrix.
I think and can see the way they will do it and it definitely wont be as some of you have envisaged. UK and Europe are the places to watch, as here is where they are already testing and puting the plans into action, Martial law doesn't even have to be that visible but more like a slow introduction.
The Uk has the most amount of CCTV camera's per head than any other country in the world, in London now there is one camera per 16 people and London is a metropolis of nearly 11million people.
They have now introduced a sound weapon called a mosquito which only kids under 21 can hear, this has been rolled out in city centres across the Uk, for supposed anti-social behaviour, will all know the real reason. The now prime minister of the Uk said before he was elected (sorry not elected, before the illuminati told us Blair was resigning and Brown is now in charge) that they were researching x-ray cameras which are to be installed on lamp posts in Cities, again for the protection against terrorism. (i smell bull) In Holland they have already installed bollards or walkway level posts with microphones in them on city streets and the UK plan to start installing them over the next couple of years, they have already got CCTV camera's which have magaphones attached in some northern crime ridden cities of the UK.
The ID card is already being rolled out and the plan with it is to make it compulsory to scan everytime you buy anything, yes even your groceries. This will then lead to the implanted micro-chip being sold to the public as people will be fed up of not being able to buy anything without their card, imagine if you ran out of gas 50 miles from home and had forgotten your ID card, you would be right up S#@t creak. Last year Blair promised the public if he got more than 250000 signatures against the new road tax law which they want to introduce to reduce traffic(more bull) then he would scrap the plan, he got more than 2.6 million signatures and gave a statement saying they are still going ahead with it. This plan is to make it compulsory for every car to have a satellite tracker/immobiliser fitted to it, which will automatically generate a fine if you speed, and automatically charge you for each road you use.
Thus they will introduce all of this way before the crap hits the fan, as they know that too many of us are now aware of their plans and will not stand for martial law.
There is no point having a grab pack of food or guns as once we all live in a proper Orwellian State then they will easily be able to bring in martial law, we wont be able to hide as they will be able to locate us with the RFid chip under our skin, we wont be able to drive anywhere either as the cars will have an immobilser fitted to the tracker which is also in the plan for people dodging the tolls and fines.
In other words mass strikes before the microchips are forced upon us, may be the last chance we have, i really dont see anarchy like you are imagining. Not until all of this has been rolled out globally.

I'm with Ziggy!!!!
When they come for the guns, its time to fight!
p.s.
Truthseeker1980, I do not have a nuclear bunker in my apartment!!!!!
I do have guns though!
That's something you don't have in the U.K. is it? You can't have guns in Australia, the European Union, South America, Canada, China, etc.... I guess Ziggy is right!!!!!

And here's where it tells me ron paul needs to drop the republican banner. 1819 Caricature by Briton George Cruikshank. Titled "The Radical's Arms", it depicts the infamous guillotine. "No God! No Religion! No King! No Constitution!" is written in the republican banner. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Cruikshank_-_The_Radical%27s_Arms.png

I've been stocking up on rice just in case the economy collapses. It's a good cheap food. I buy 5 or 10 pound bags at walmart for 50cents a pound.
100 pounds of potato for $5.00

I just read that white rice can be stored at 70˚ for up to 7 years. I curious as to what plans others have for storing food.
Where did you get? Where should I store mine? What other survival equipment would I need? Which websites could you suggest?
I plan on getting an LED hand powered flashlight and radio, and LED hand powered water bottle lamp. I've wondered about some of the storable superfoods available. I was thinking of storing a large amount of rice for bulk and taking superfoods in smaller amounts for nutrition. I was also going to look into storing water but there is a stream behind my house which I can filter.
I keep hearing the advertisement for survivemartiallaw.com and wondered if anyone cared to give a review of it. Also any websites you suggest would be greatly appreciated. I'm more concerned with the fallout from the coming depression than I am from martial law as I see the depression as the most immediate threat.

From a Sarajevo War Survivor: Experiencing horrible things that can happen in a war - death of parents and friends, hunger and malnutrition, endless freezing cold, fear, sniper attacks.
1. Stockpiling helps. but you never no how long trouble will last, so locate near renewable food sources. 2. Living near a well with a manual pump is like being in Eden. 3. After awhile, even gold can lose its luster. But there is no luxury in war quite like toilet paper. Its surplus value is greater than gold's. 4. If you had to go without one utility, lose electricity - it's the easiest to do without (unless you're in a very nice climate with no need for heat.) 5. Canned foods are awesome, especially if their contents are tasty without heating. One of the best things to stockpile is canned gravy - it makes a lot of the dry unappetizing things you find to eat in war somewhat edible. Only needs enough heat to "warm", not to cook. It's cheap too, especially if you buy it in bulk. 6. Bring some books - escapist ones like romance or mysteries become more valuable as the war continues. Sure, it's great to have a lot of survival guides, but you'll figure most of that out on your own anyway - trust me, you'll have a lot of time on your hands. 7. The feeling that you're human can fade pretty fast. I can't tell you how many people I knew who would have traded a much needed meal for just a little bit of toothpaste, rouge, soap or cologne. Not much point in fighting if you have to lose your humanity. These things are morale-builders like nothing else. 8. Slow burning candles and matches, matches, matches

A dehydrator/smoker-distiller would be nice, I'm too depressed after 3-4-08 show. Someone wanna post how-to? I'm trying to keep lunch down.
I have plans for mini greenhouse, needs loads of coathangers, plastic bag(s). Half-dodecahedron, 6 faces.
Folks also need a long antenna, 21 feet, for shortwave. The "scoping" antenna is next to squat. You can drop on ground and still get a signal, point in general direction of transmitter.

This is just my opinion so don't take it as an insult. You're thinking too modern. All you need is food/water, shelter, and warmth.

What do you intend to do when the crap hits the fan? Get an umbrella? No, but seriously, if you are going to hide in the wilderness, it would be good to do some scouting in your area first, to really get to know some good hiding spots while you're still in town. Weapons are obviously needed, aswell as food (I like that rice idea) and a map, if possible showing the terrain. You should locate sources of drinkable, unpoluted water, and if you can, learn all you can about eatable plants or stuff like that incase you run out of rice. Quickly thinking, the equipement I would bring is as follows: -Warm, durable clothes, 3 layers (1 t-shirt, 1 warm shirt, and coat) + water-proof poncho, hat and scarf (yes I live in a cold place), all either camouflage style or dark greenish color (not flashy), -Swiss army knife + hachet, -A blanket (to either sleep with or improvise into a temporary shelter), -That crankable radio you guys talked about, -As much rice as I can carry, -A bow with arrows (yes, unfortunately, I don't own a fire-arm nor have any experience with one, unlike archery ><) -Water bottle(s) -Compass or learn to read the stars? 0.o (I'll go with the compass), -First-aid kit, -Map, -gloves, (v Optional v)-A flash-light which you only have to shake to recharge, -Binoculars, -A book to read + paper and a pen (for psychological support or taking notes about something?) -A lighter, untill I figure out how to make fire in the wild. Oh and finding people you can depend on and stick with once it all happens could be good. (wolverines! (red dawn) )

Live in a small village with a river flowing through it surrounded by farms. Micro communities and getting back to nature is the key! Make sure you have no debt! If you don’t own a property near a good water supply buy one! Even if this means your larger family’s all selling there houses to pool enough money to buy a new dwelling (with as much land as possible) And Be compliant when they come to chip you! The UN will only manage you if you are not self sustaining. If you cannot achieve the above in any way over the next few years, theirs a good chance your life will be managed for you, to the grave

No offense, but why would any reasonable, self-respecting person ever even consider doing that? Living on your knees is not living. My response to the would-be chippers? "You can go to Hell. I will go to Texas." (history quiz folks: what historical figure actually said that?)

Perhaps. The difference here in America is that we may collapse before that happens. That will force the issue somewhat and make things more favorable. I think our economy will collapse within 2 years, probably sooner, your police state is more advanced than ours and we have more open space.

There's nothing wrong with using technology and biological engineering to improve humanity, provided it is done in a responsible manner and is freely available to all. If we could implement nanotech for everyone and avoid global control at the same time, it would be the greatest boon to humanity since we learned how to make fire and complex tools. Mechanical prosthetics are a primitive abomination, they will disfigure the body and are irreversible...nanites can do anything a prosthetic can and more with no perceivable physical alterations at all.
We're talking about the next stage in human evolution here, and the NWO is going to mess it up for everyone.
Imagine being able to automatically convert CO2 in your bloodstream without having to breathe? Imagine your muscles never growing tired, your eyes capable of perceiving UV and infrared light, hearing far beyond that of dogs and dolphins, human intelligence boosted to supercomputer levels...we're talking demigod status for all of humanity here.
No slavery, no control, everyone is equally blessed with superhuman abilities and the possibilities for human advancement are infinite.
And the globalists want it only for themselves while we mere biological humans toil in the dust.
It's criminal what they are doing...they are stealing our destiny right out from under our noses.

You people...WTF do you think you're doing? "Hiding Out"? Don't you know that staying in one place is the absolute MOST DANGEROUS thing you can do during the event of martial law? Don't think that because you've got 10,000 rounds of 7.62x39's and an RPK that you are going to be able to hold your own against an entire squad of Delta Force, or SWAT, or BATF. They have so many heavy weapons that you would have to be holed up in a Nuclear bomb shelter with 10 years food supply to stand a chance. I keep hearing people on this forum saying that they are going to go hide somewhee, maybe in some old busted house, if martial law ever happens. That idea is preposterous. They will turn you into hamburger meat! You MUST stay on the move using stealth at all times if you want to survive, and referring to the first post, do not take anything electronic unless you know that you have removed all RFID tags and other tracking devices, the NWO will pinpoint you before you know it. You have to stay on the move if you want to live.
Kid you have no idea what you're doing. You ever heard of a GPS jammer? You can get one for 80 bucks or so. lol There is no way to track RFID chips from WALMART for pete's sake. Even if there were such a database it would be useless. Think about all the grandmas who bought clothes as gifts, paid cash, sold on ebay, etc. Useless and also not in any database, they need cashless society with total control for that information to work. The problem is not that you don't know enough, it's all the things you think you know that just aren't so. What's the longest you've ever been out in the cold? Be honest with yourself. I hear the most half baked stuff here.

The 500 million will still be 100% biological. The only ones getting the benefits of technological augmentation will be the elite.
They are going to kill billions and enslave millions more for their own benefit. That's the criminal part.
If the technology was safe, proven, and not part of some mad control scheme I'd get it in a heartbeat. I don't know about you, but transhuman intelligence kind of appeals to me...maybe I'm just misguided, but having human intuition and pattern matching ability coupled with raw processing power would allow for a flood of new art, music, religious, literature, scientific progress...all of humanity would be able to participate, not just those blessed with superior abilities by a stroke of fate.
Image a billion Einsteins. A billion DaVincis and Beethovens. A billion George Orwells and a billion Stephen Hawkings.
This is what the NWO is going to screw up for us. All for control of a speck of dust in an infinitely large universe.

How the heck are you going to carry all that crap? Especially four two-handed weapons and 1000 rounds of ammo each? Might as well just buy a motor home...
He forgot to tell you to untie your herd of camels. A 500 pound gorilla couldn't carry all that in a backpack.

To hell with that, I'm keeping my laptop with me.
I know very damned well that isn't wise to do, but considering the route I plan to take, I don't think they'll be scanning for electronic devices anyway. Ride the rails to freedom!
What do you need a laptop for? Tetris? There won't be an Internet to get news and your wireless card won't work either. A shortwave radio makes more sense... even though they'll try to jam those frequencies as well. Don't forget a shopping cart. After a few hours of lugging that portable power station around, you're going to gladly throw it off the first cliff you find and wish you brought more food and water. I don't mean to pick on anyone but some of these replies are just too funny to leave alone.

Yeah, I know. Laptop for video/games/whatever. I'm not going to be on the run all the time, just until I can find a good enough place to camp for a while. Then on the run again. I can carry a lot for a few hours. Then rest for a few hours. Repeat. As for food supply, once I get to a point further out enough from the cities, I could hunt for it. Even though I have no idea how to smoke/salt food ... at the moment. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense.

Hanging out in the mountains is not so easy. I've done it... two years protesting a logging... camped in the back country. Things you don't think about in advance:
1. Camp near water and use castile soap for washing. Nevermind if it's cold. Wade in with your sweatshirt still on, and wash from the waist down. Then, toss your sweatshirt on the bank, and bathe the rest (real fast!)
2. Staying warm. Fire doesn't do the trick. Fire lookouts can spot smoke easily. Stock up on Instant Heat Air Activated warmers. A small propane heater is OK... but hauling in the propane jugs is laborious, and can't be done if you're very far back.
3. Stock up on water purification tablets.
4. Dig a hole... if you have to go. If you're camped for awhile... dig a small outhouse. Soak a towel in white vinegar, and place it over your hole. (keeps critters away.)
5. Don't use toilet paper or kleenex. Keep a special jug of water to splash/wash after pooping.
6. BUY AND KEEP WATERPROOF MATCHES. Stock candles.
7. Bring good books. Boredom can set in quickly if camped for a long time.
8. Have several flashlights, and lots of extra batteries and bulbs. Nothing is worse than a flashlight going out in the dark, and not having a replacement, especially if it's raining.
9. Pack small plastic tarps.
10. DON'T GET POISON OAK OR POISON IVY. Carry hydro-cortizone creme 1% in your first aid pack, along with ARNICA GEL (arnical gel relieves sore muscles... buy in organic foods store.) Also be sure you have stretchy ankle and wrist wraps. Sprained wrists and ankles happen easily.
more to come as I think of things.

Kid you have no idea what you're doing. You ever heard of a GPS jammer? You can get one for 80 bucks or so. lol
There is no way to track RFID chips from WALMART for pete's sake.
Alright, but when you find yourself outgunned, outlasted, and no where to run, remember what I said. I dont think we can carry our argument any further

OK, good luck with your permanent camping trip. I'm certain that after a year living outside you'll look just fabulous. lol

That about sums it up for me; there's gonna be alot of opportunities, plenty of green rookies to catch slippin and plenty for the taking for those that have the muscle. The survivors will be the ones who are resourceful, not those who hoard resources.

I tend to agree with Jesse. Armed revoltion will be committing suicide, hiding in the woods on the run, will not work for 90% of the American public. The Italians have been playing this game since before Mussolini, wave the flag, cheer the pols. hide your inner thoughts, trust very few people. In short be a sleeper. The worm will turn, you can rest assured of that, suffer it out, remain invisible. Fit in, even though you may feel the need to vomit and cry at the same time. If you have a stockpíle of self defense items and feel the need to survive, clean then , wrap them in plastic, and find a tall pine, use fishline, hang them about 30-40 feet up camoflaged, green. Remember they have metal detectors, in house storage is not a very clever solution no matter how well you may beleive you have hidden you survival items. If martial law hits us, homeland will be the interrogators along with military intel. or FBI. Your neighbors may appear freindly enough, but who knows, a free meal, browny points, sometimes the most unlikely persons betray for the benys, look at Judas and think about it. I'm two tapped and I know it, so I have accepted my fate, my children are free, thats all that is important to me in truth. Your family is your first priority, hang the ol stars and stripes, whoopp it up for the nato in the street, bring them lemonade. Hide whats in you, time is the answer for those who beleive in freedom and this nation. Use your time concentrating on survival, and remaining invisible and in control of your emotions..Keep the faith, they have created their own undoing and they, the elite can't see past their egos and pomp. I do not think it will come to this, however no harm done discussing it. I know that you must tire of me saying this, however, the silent majority have contributed to this fiasco more than they will ever realize. May the fencepoles they have been sitting on rocket up their anus and call them back to reality. Stay with faith.

I'm pretty much living paycheck to paycheck so I have no idea at this point. I hear about all these things coming but figure all I can do is put away as much food and water as possible, try to build some type of community with people nearby and my church, pray pray pray, stay rooted in the bible, and have plenty of books. Anybody see Into The Wild yet? A little bit off topic I guess but it's really inspiring to see how much a person can go through.
I think with God's help, some basic preparations, and using our brains we'll be amazed how much we can actually get through.
I just wish there was some way to unify us all better.
