'Cause it's a revolution for your mind...K?!

« on: March 04, 2010, 07:52:55 AM »

This morning, during a phoner interview on the Opie and Anthony Show on Sirius XM physicist Michio Kaku was speaking about various topics, including UFOs, black holes, and a few other topics, when the topic of climate warming and earthquakes were brought up. In closing, right before he got off the phone, he stated that Los Angeles was next as far as massive earthquakes, that they were due in part to the cyclical nature of earthquakes, and that their fault line works on a 120-150 year cycle.

I'm not sure if i believe him either way, but I figured I would throw the info out there for people to mine as needed to see if it fit with anybodies theories. I believe it was during the 2nd or 3rd hour if anyone is interested in listening and and can find audio on line. It may lend credence to the HAARP earthquake weapon, (although I doubt it since none of those blokes can seem to articulate HOW the HAARP system can cause an earthquake, they just repeatedly say it can.) Or it may just mean that earthquakes can be cyclical. Anyhow, throw your angle at it, and see if it sticks.

I quoted this post on another thread where I'm collecting all of this fear mongering over US quakes...something else to distract the zombies.

Kaku is great to listen to...kinda like David Icke.  He's one of the people out there hyping a solar storm in 2012.

This guy is one of my favorite physicists, love his stuff. He's probably right, the area is due for another good one.

Yeah, but it's kinda like predicting a big rain in Seattle.  Roll Eyes

or a big tornado in kansas...lol. yeh I know. Still love the guys stuff though. No one seems to be able to explain a mind numbing topic like theoretical physics to a complete idiot like me in a way I can understand like he does though.

I like listening to him too.  He is very good at illustrating his point.

I definitely think, though, that he allows himself to be used to maintain the fear level in the sheep...especially by the MSM.

They know the guy is well liked by the modestly educated.  So, they use him to highlight subjects they want to promote.

I would like to see Kaku host a show he has complete control over.

He does host sci-fi science...I think he wrote that show himself.

Is that on the Science Channel or "Sy-Fy"?  I'll have to look it up...thanks.  I'm sure it's an interesting show.

it's on the science channel...the new ones anyways...but they re run on a few others. It's pretty neat. He takes bits of sci-fi technology and hypothesizes ways to make it at least theoreticly plausible in terms of new scientific advances.

I've seen his show on the science channel, and it is a well put together show, although I wish they would hit on soem tough topics. I feel like they are softballing it a bit. But you are right, he has a way of explaining those deep physics topics that make you feel you can grasp the concept, even as a layman.
