Putting myself in her shoes .... a candidate running on states rights, ending property taxes and living in the naive world that 9/11 was a cave dweller job for the past eight years, to all of the sudden facing the loss of donors and a lost election because of a seemingly irrelevant (to Texas governor) issue.... I can understand her making that statement our of frustration. We ALL make emotional laced statements that are inconsistent with our peace and prosperity message in dark frustrating moments.

Bottom-line, I'm with ya.... but a trap was set for her AND us. She fell in and now we are ALL falling in by attacking an independent, principled constitutional minded person. Lets try to win her over with reason and facts instead of trashing her like the Beck clowns did.

DALLAS - Support for Debra Medina in the campaign for the GOP nomination in the race for Texas governor appears to be fading, judging by recent poll results, released by Public Policy Polling.

The results also put Gov. Rick Perry in a substantial lead over Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

According to the poll, Perry leads over Hutchinson with 40 percent, Hutchison has 31 percent.

Support for Medina was polled at 20 percent.

The poll suggests that 50 percent of voters believe Medina may support the theory that the federal government was involved in the 9/11 attacks.

I agree with you Matthew! Medina walked into yet another trap, just like the Beck trap, and got burned again. She will learn from this election the fools she will have to tangle with in our media and elsewhere who act like mad dogs during an election. very interesting, does seem like the second talk show host did not catch her off guard, but almost had her agree from the beginning to then state on the air a position. very interesting analysis and that could be something aj may be privy to as well.

These people always use hot button issue to sidetrack people during elections.  We need to focus on the priorities to take our country back, and dealing with hot button issues in a race is only used for one purpose - TO GAIN OR LOSE VOTES. This is all a distraction from the REAL ISSUES that should be talked about in these campaigns. Note that Medina started talking about real issues, when the other two wanted to snip at each other. Now the media has been successful (in their sick way) of derailing the talks about real issues to things that divide us. They do it everytime, and have succeeded once again. AND WE SUCKED INTO IT ONCE AGAIN ALSO.

Folks, the list of issues that need to be addressed is a mile long, a real investigation of 911 is on that list, but at this moment in time and with what we have to work with in Washington and all over our Country, that is not going to be priority right now, so we need to come up with another TOP PRIORITY for our list. So what is that to you? IMO

1) Stopping what is happening at the local level in the States to derail our Republic. We must take our country back STATE BY STATE and at that level.

2) We must keep exposing the bankers for the frauds they are and for looting our treasury while pretending to be the "FIXERS". (AUDIT THE FED & KEEP IT IN THE LIMELIGHT)

3) Get GOOD PEOPLE in places of government at all levels. (Yes, a good person will make mistakes because they're not use to playing the stupid political games, but we have to give them a chance.)

4) Keep watching legislation and what our Congressmen are trying to pass, and speak out.

You add your own! This calls for multitasking. It's not about one issue, but 1,000s actually! We can't deal with them all right now, but in order of necessity!
