I quoted it at the top of the page.

Hey Neco,

You left out the most important portion...Where she agreed with Davis, emphatically, as he bashed the 9/11 truthers.

Don't take my word for it...listen to the actual audio for yourself...

I'm just trying to make a point.

If you say you don't like how Madina disses 911 truth, then automatically you are a Sustein troll.

I'm sick of that shit.

Enough with the praise of these f**king politicians.

Hey man, there is more going on than just 911 Truth. There are tons of issues and priorities and one can't focus on just one and see the whole picture.

I really don't think that Medina has even looked into 911 Truth, so may have spoken off the cuff by agreeing with that guys "very loaded comments". She is new at this and not as savvy as long time politicians. She made some mistakes going on Glenn's show earlier. She is having to learn the lessons of how commentators twist words and use them against her. She is running into traps, and has to learn from them. IMO she allowed that guy with his loaded comment to suck her in. Here again, a new politician and the sharks encircling her. He uttered those words. All she did was agree and she fell into his trap. She needs to learn how to deal with people who put words in her mouth. Media darlings are very good at this crap. She needs to learn not to agree so quickly, IMO! She's a rookie at the media spin and crap. She will get burnt a few times, then will wise up.

Whatever.  It's a shitty situation for those of us here.  Oh well.

Still going to vote for her because, why the f**k not?

What else am I going to do with my time to advance the cause of freedom?

I guess the only politician I can STILL really trust is Ron Paul.

Oh well.  I guess no one taught her about alienating here base in Politics 101.

I think you all should also take a step back and look at the world we live in.

The vast majority of the public are NOT intellectuals like the people who visit this site.

The vast majority are THIS guy.

And this guy hates them therrr turrristssssss by God.

I'm not saying it's the right thing to do.  I'm just saying that's how it is and her statements might have actually helped her more then they hurt her in the long run.

Who knows.

We know they're trying to sabotage her. This could well be another attempt. Jury still out! Remember, it was a media personality that sucked her into agreeing. That's what these goons are good at and we need to quit falling for their crap. Medina does also.

She needs to make the comment and stop letting these goons put words in her mouth.

Have you listened to the audio yet?

It's her voice...kinda hard to blame this on cointelpro or Neo-Cons when she is the one saying/agreeing  to it.

Amen!!!

Do I like the idea that Medina (now) and Dr Paul both scorn scientific evidence proving the 9/11 official story is a complete sham?

Absolutely NOT.

But I do want constitutionally minded folks representing 'we the people'. Medina and Dr Paul are at least that. And this isn't a 'lesser evil' argument. If we can get rid of property taxes, income taxes and drug prohibition via constitutional minded (albeit non-truther) folks ... the fuel for the MIC / CIA / FED is gone. Freedom is restored. Isn't that what we want?

A 9/11 truther candidate is NOT going to fall from the sky to save us. We're NOT going to get a 9/11 truther to run for office if we sit here on the forums complaining about a good 'state's rights' candidate.

Divided we are conquered!!!

I said earlier I listen to the podcast in the evening and this is the first time I've heard of this. So  I won't be jumping to conclusions on this one because I know how the media tricks people into saying things they really don't believe or puts words in their mouths.

If I had heard her say the words herself and not just agree, it might be a different thing. Do you have a source where she said the words herself? I would like to see that, if there is such. Remember what she agreed to was a loaded comment from the media guy. She may have actually agreed with certain things he said, but not all, but was manipulated into saying she agreed.

Come on, you know how the media is! They trick people and spin things. It's what they do! I'm just asking people to see this part of what happened and quit the kneejerk reaction.

There is more to this than meets the eye like everything that happens these days in the media. They are smucks!

Medina needs to read this quote from Evelyn Beatrice Hall:

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it..."

This is what Freedom of Speech, and the First Amendment are all about!

Not, "I disapprove of what you say, and I think you are despicable for saying it."

where does she say it is despicable?

Quote
Davis: "...it would have been over in a day, if after the Beck thing, you'd have said boy, I'm sorry, I messed up. I should've identified this 9/11 truther movement as the despicable paranoid cult that they are, what a horrible hateful belief to have in your head that 9/11 was an inside job. Why didnt you do that?

Medina: "Yeah I um, I agree with ya Mark, I laughed it off whenever he said I was a truther cause I thought it was so absurd and i should have just said NO, absolutely I'm not a truther. I think it's abundantly clear I'm not a truther;  um ya know those things happen to us and we pick up say should've done that better, move on, and that's what we've done."

With all of the problems we have in our country, is this the only one you're passionate about? Are there other things that upset you? What about unemployment, corruption, a bought media, people losing their homes, our manf being sent overseas and thus we are becoming deindustrialized, Geithner and his buddies have stolen trillions from our taxpayer monies, our govt is lying to us on every front. I could go on and on, but we want to talk endlessly about a new politician, Debra Medina, who IMO was manipulated into saying something she probably will regret.

Seems small in the scheme of things, and an overreaction!

No, she agreed with it...Does that make it less wrong?

Go back to page one and read the "constitution analogy" I wrote to you.

And yes, OF COURSE they are trying to sabotage her...But SHE went along with it...It was HER voice agreeing with Davis.  It was NOT taken pout of context, and you can hear the exchange for yourself.  Ron Paul would never publicly say he agrees with the truthers, but he also would never agree with some Neo-Con telling him to call us despicable on record either.

If you choose to vote for he anyway, like Neco, then I can certainly respect that...

But let's not try to make this less than what it is...a "despicable" act of treason against her base!

Ron Paul is a seasoned politician and he knows the traps of the media. Also, Debra Medina is part of the Ron Paul movement and so believes much of what Ron Paul believes. Isn't that true?

I think she was told to distance herself from this because it is an issue that is a hot button especially in an election. Yes, just look at how other politicians address it, the same way. Which should tell us something! With what we currently have in Washington, those guys are not going to investigate 911 because they know too much. So any wise politician will sideline the issue for now. However, as the people, we should keep pushing for an investigation and hope that we can get someone in the White House and in Congress who will eventually listen to us. THE TIME IS NOT NOW HOWEVER!

The current political strategy is to deny 911 Truthers. Someone has probably advised Medina in this way after she fell for the Beck crap!

Who cares? This is ridiculous. She's still got my vote. Have some discernment folks. What the hell does Alex expect her to say to get elected? Name one person that's been elected to office as an open "truther"?? Beck's mission accomplished: Get the regular Republicans to withdraw support to pressure a response from her; then get the "truther" community to withdraw support because of that response. Beck has even said "she's betrayed you truthers". It's a f*cking game meant to ruin her chances.

link to this info on Deagle?

He threw Alex the Labvirus.com blogger under the bus on Friday Feb 12, 2010 when he sent his wife to do his dirty work and tell Alex to never call the show again.  No explanation, no returning emails or phone calls, no nothing but a kick in the ass for all the work Alex did to promote Deagle's show.  In my book, Deagle owed Alex a morsel of an explanation, but as it stands we listeners and readers are also left in the cold and many of us have questioned the real motive.  I haven't bothered to listen to his show since this went down as nothing he says now can be trusted in my mind.

Check it out and decide -

Well, if I was a Texan I'd probably still throw my vote to Debra Medina or simply not vote at all. Nonetheless, the audio was pretty dissapointing to hear. It's not even as if she handled it poorly, she insulted a huge part of her fan base that had been behind her since day one. The posters here seem to know about more then political manuevering then she does, herself. Totally, uncalled for.

Quote

That's because it wouldn't make sense for him to do so. If he did, it would then go back on the entire attack about the truther issue in itself. No doubt has the establishment tried to break her down; but I don't think this gives her a pass. Ron Paul never came out and said he was a truther; but he never agreed that we were dispicable, either.

She's making herself seem like a typical flip-flopping politician.  If she becomes Governor, will Teaxans really be able to trust her to do what she's promising to do?

SpeakUP:  Ron Paul is the BEST we have no doubt ... HOWEVER:

911 was NOT constitutional.

Putting myself in her shoes .... a candidate running on states rights, ending property taxes and living in the naive world that 9/11 was a cave dweller job for the past eight years, to all of the sudden facing the loss of donors and a lost election because of a seemingly irrelevant (to Texas governor) issue.... I can understand her making that statement our of frustration. We ALL make emotional laced statements that are inconsistent with our peace and prosperity message in dark frustrating moments.

Bottom-line, I'm with ya.... but a trap was set for her AND us. She fell in and now we are ALL falling in by attacking an independent, principled constitutional minded person. Lets try to win her over with reason and facts instead of trashing her like the Beck clowns did.

Divided we are conquered.

Godspeed to her, Texas and all truthers!!!

I'm disappointed Alex isn't trying to win her back with reason. She is under lots of stress and very frustrated by this manufactured issue.

That said... as governor, will she act 'out of character'Huh

Dark days, dark days!!!

This is a non-story for me. I broke this the day of the plane crash in Austin because Glenda Shrek was whining about catching hell for attacking Medina, so he pointed out she had thrown us under the bius collectively on a radio talk show she went on in order to clear the air and protect her name. How you guys missed this, I'll never know.  But I cancelled the check I wrote to her campaign that day.

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Every rant now against Medina for this simply makes Glenn Beck smile that devilish dimply smile he has.
