No effing way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is done? Mission accomplished (so far)? If so, booyah, I feel a seriously patriotic tingle in my being after hearing this news. Damn amazing work you guys. So goes Texas...
Medina accepts invitation to The Belo Debate Click here for a free download of the latest Adobe Flash Player. by BRAD WATSON / WFAA-TV Posted on January 18, 2010 at 4:59 PM Updated yesterday at 10:52 PM ****** Related: WFAA to broadcast gubernatorial debate Inside Texas Politics (1/17) Texas GOP gov. candidates clash over taxes, jobs Guidelines for gubernatorial debate on WFAA Medina tax plan draws opponents DALLAS — Debra Medina — the third candidate running for the GOP nomination for governor along with Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison — has accepted an invitation to appear in the statewide televised debate sponsored by Belo TV stations in Texas and The Dallas Morning News. The debate is set for Friday, January 29. Until now, Medina had not met the criteria to appear in the debate. However, a new Rasmussen Reports poll released Monday shows a shift among likely Texas GOP voters in her favor. The poll of 831 likely voters found: Perry - 43 percent Hutchison - 33 percent Medina - 12 percent Not sure - 11 percent After reviewing the Rasmussen results, Mike Devlin — president and general manager WFAA-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth, the station that will host the debate — explained why Medina will now be allowed to appear. "The Rasmussen poll released today shows Debra Medina is now at 12 percent, which is a substantial jump since the previous poll. Factoring in the margin of error (+/- 3.5 percent) and using reasonable news judgment, it appears Ms. Medina is a viable candidate and qualifies for the Belo Debate to be broadcast on January 29," Devlin said. As previously announced, the primary criteria used to determine which candidates are invited to participate in the debate include whether a candidate: [NOTE: Take a close look at this completely arbitrary set of regulations that amounts to the wholesale suspension of free and fair electoral process that millions of Americans fought and died for]-receives significant levels of public support in independent public opinion polls (e.g. 15 percent, which is the minimum used by the Commission on Presidential Debates) -has received substantial campaign contributions from varied sources -has previously held significant public office(s) -has received a substantial level of votes in prior elections for the same or comparable office(s) -will be reported by news agencies in election night returns -has received significant news coverage from a wide range of media outlets "The FCC and other bodies grant stations the right to exercise good faith news judgment in determining which candidates are invited to participate in televised debates, and to use reasonable news judgment in reaching such decisions, with the intent to neither promote a candidate nor create a disadvantage for a candidate," Devlin's statement said. Representatives of the Perry and Hutchison campaigns said they welcome Medina's inclusion in the debate.

btw, did you notice that in the debate Hutchison was asked "Who was the first Governor of Texas? She got it wrong! Some career politician! Also, Perry was called out on his TTC (the man lied and said it was dead. It's not dead.) and Enterprise Fund (his own little private and unaccountable slush fund he's using to do his Bilderberg projects, IMO). This man can not be reelected, and Texas should pass a law saying no one can run for more then 2 terms in office. He wants a third time so he can continue implementing the Establishment's NWO plans. Hutchison btw is big time establishment and a full time Bilderberger, Perry is only being weened in Bilderberger currently. She and he work for the elite. That's where their loyalty lies, and not with the people of Texas. Medina will not be bought by the establishment and will think for herself. This is something the other two guys don't have a clue how to do. They just take orders from their elite Masters. It's time to fire these types and bring in REAL HONEST LOYAL AMERICANS into places of power. You have your chance Texas! Don't blow it. Elect Medina, and this will help the entire Country because it will show them we can indeed defeat people who take orders and who do not work for us!TTC, is it dead?http://www.corridorwatch.org/ttc/

Well, I live in Texas and I hadn't planned on voting at all between a Bilderberger and a Fed sellout but I haden't seen anything from this woman. I think I might actually GO vote and vote for this person. PS- The great thing about Texas is that we barely give our governor any power at all. We are still a Republic. So regardless which corporate puppet is placed in Texas, it still won't matter much because our rights have been protected by our limited executive power. (WHAT A CONCEPT!!!!)

Eliminate property tax: We must eliminate property tax in Texas. We can fund necessary government services more efficiently and fairly using a broader based sales tax. Eliminating property tax and deriving that revenue from a sales tax will mean a $3 billion increase in net personal income in Texas and will add 125,000-175,000 new jobs. [pdf]
Protect gun ownership: Protecting freedom requires that the people be well armed. Government cannot protect us from violence, we must defend ourselves. Texans must not compromise and must not surrender their right to keep and bear arms. We must not only nullify federal laws that threaten that right but encourage citizens to be, as Madison encouraged, “trained to arms, as that is the best and most natural defense of a free country.”
Secure our border: Texas must promote healthy immigration and trade through the legal ports of entry. We cannot wait on Washington D.C. to act. As governor I will make addressing illegal immigration and promoting sovereignty a top priority.
Restore Sovereignty: The U.S. Constitution not only protects citizens' freedoms in the Bill of Rights, it also divides power between the federal and state governments and ultimately reserves final authority for the people themselves. Texas must stop the over reaching federal government and nullify federal mandates in agriculture, energy, education, healthcare, industry, and any other areas D.C. is not granted authority by the Constitution. That doesn't sound like globalist propaganda to me. Wow, man WTF? Is this a real politician. Vote Ron Paul. Vote Debra Medina.

http://blogs.chron.com/texaspolitics/archives/2009/09/ron_paul_touts.html Dear Defender of Liberty, I would like to introduce you to a good friend of mine, Debra Medina. I have known Debra for over ten years and have always been impressed by her drive and commitment to principle. Debra has been a real defender of Liberty both in her home town of Wharton and across the state of Texas. Debra has for years been a key supporter and member of my campaign team. As chairman of the Wharton County Republican Party, she has stood up to the big government establishment and fought to hold our party accountable to our platform and our conservative Texas values. Because of her leadership and organizational skills, I asked Debra to serve on the board of directors of my national grassroots action group, Campaign for Liberty, where she has played an important role in our fight to defend our Constitution. In addition to her political accomplishments, I am proud of Debra for the person she is. Debra Medina is a loving wife, a home school mother of two talented honor students, and a successful business owner. Debra is a true success story and role model for Texans across our state. I am proud to call Debra Medina a friend, and as a fellow Texan, I encourage you to get to know her. Debra is exploring a run for higher office and would appreciate your input on her effort. You can learn more about her at www.medinafortexas.com. I am sure we will look to Debra for leadership in my community and across our state for many years to come. In Liberty, Ron Paul

Perry stands ground on his record http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/perry-stands-ground-on-his-record-203052.htmlWharton businesswoman Debra Medina, who in the last two weeks has gone from also-ran to possible spoiler, took broad swipes at both of her opponents.
"These two folks don't understand the U.S. Constitution," Medina said. Did you see Perry Defend his mandating of the HPV shot for young girls? This was OUTRAGEOUS! He also defended his controversial 2007 decision to require schools to vaccinate sixth-grade girls against the human papillomavirus , pointing out that families could opt out of it.
"I always stand for life," Perry said. "That issue was about being pro-life." THIS IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING PRO-LIFE, PERRY! YOU ARE SUCH A DECEIVER! THIS SHOT HAS BEEN KILLING YOUNG GIRLS, HOW CAN THAT BE PROLIFE?

She's just like Ron Paul because she simply follows the playbook she's supposed to follow. No deceit, no manipulation, no posturing, no corrupt thinking. Go Medina go!
And screw the Dallas Morning News!

People must stop voting for the LESSER OF THE EVILS, and start voting their CONSCIENCE and for people who aren't associated with the Establishment. We must start voting for people who actually will uphold our Constitution and stop all the Globalist insanity!
Our Country is a Republic that has been eroded by the Globalists Elites who think they own us, and it is time to show them they don't and return to a Republic.
This can happen if people will get off their couch and get informed and vote for people like Medina.
If we consistently VOTE for the OUTSIDERS (meaning they're not INSIDER elites), then we can turn this country around. If people keep believing the lie that these people can't win, then they never will.
GET OUT AND VOTE OUT THE ELITE AND VOTE IN REAL AMERICANS WHO LOVE THIS COUNTRY! THIS GOES FOR THE US CONGRESS ALSO. VOTE OUT THE FAILURES AND VOTE IN PEOPLE WITH TRUE LOYALTY TO AMERICA! THE MAJORITY OF THE CURRENT CONGRESS HAS BETRAYED US, AND THEY MUST NOT BE REWARDED WITH THEIR CUSHY SEATS IN CONGRESS ANY LONGER. FIRE THEM!
WE MUST HAVE A ONE STRIKE YOU'RE OUT POLICY. THE ARROGANCE IN THE CONGRESS MUST END AND THE ONLY WAY TO END IT IS TO FIRE THEM! GET REGISTERED FOR THE MID-TERM 2010 ELECTIONS AND VOTE OUT INCUMBENTS!

That's typical of cowards. Anyone with any sense will be put off by these low level functioning comments and see that these 2 are establishment goons who don't deserve to ever be in a top political position again because they work for the wrong people and they know it. They can't debate Debra on the facts, because they know she's right. So they resort to playground tactics. They must think it's cool to sell your soul. I don't! Read about Kay Bailey Hutchison:http://z4.invisionfree.com/The_Great_Deception/index.php?showtopic=204Read about Rick Perry:http://z4.invisionfree.com/The_Great_Deception/index.php?showtopic=6518Anyone who has done their homework on these two will know that Medina is the better choice. However, the idiots who just vote partyline and never check out their candidate will vote for these idiots. These are the types we need to try to educate about how they are being deceived. But if they won't listen then just move on to the next person. Try to get them to listen to the debates and point out the truths of what Debra is saying as opposed to the nonsense the others spout just to get elected.
