“Lost” watchers, all is right with the world again: President Obama will not interrupt the long-awaited episode by giving a national address the same night.

Fear gripped the hearts of fans when it was announced that the president wanted to push back the annual State of the Union address – typically held in late January – to February 2, which everyone should know by now is the premiere of the ABC drama’s final season.

Crazy talk! Doesn’t he know people have been dying to find out what happened to the castaways?

But White House press secretary Robert Gibbs assured viewers Friday he “doesn’t foresee a scenario in which millions of people that hope to finally get some conclusion in ‘Lost’ are preempted by the president.”

The "Lost" news came in response to a question from ABC correspondent Ann Compton at the afternoon press briefing.

The time slot for “Lost” may be secured, but still no word on what day the president will deliver the State of the Union.

This is what "we the people" want now, apparently. This is why the old principles of capitalism and liberalism are obsolete; we have outgrown them, into this.

What remains to be seen is whether we will outgrow humanism and citizenship as well and submit into a "benevolent" (or not so benevolent) tyranny, or if something brand new will be found to keep the freedom of the brand new generations of the human being.

Without their feed the cattle are less controllable and it also empathizes the "fact" that tv is God.

Yes, but I don't believe this is any one person's fault, though if I WERE to point fingers, I would seek the "point of divergence," e.g. where we've gone wrong, somewhere around 1959-1965 when we have definitely stopped the "nuclear revolution" of energy, industry and space flight from happening for short term goals and irrational fears.

Barring that, I really don't think we need some kind of a NWO to follow the path of least entropy; and not having interest in public matters that are increasingly less controllable and understandable and focusing on trivialities is indeed such a path.

The conclusion I want to see is THE CONCLUSION OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION IN JANUARY 2013.

Obama and his band of idiots are truly LOST.

This is more and more like Brave New World every day.
