yea - it's like, there is no doubt that the current Skull and Bones people are just as privileged as the previous generations, and will have just as much power in the business world. It's just interesting to see how styles change. Alex Jones is good at drama, and sometimes I've heard him joke around, dropping the Texas accent and using british aristocratic voice, imitating a member of the hoi polloi.  I interact with various Ivy League folks at my job, and a lot of them don't dress up and they aren't blatantly rude to service workers. They might be less likely to try to flaunt labels and wealth than working class people who save up to buy a handbag or coat with  a label.

The father of the person who hired me here is a bigwig who was in the Nixon administration, was listed on one website as a potential vice presidential candidate, and he is on quite a few corporate boards, and was on the CFR list twice in the 1980s. If you see their family photo on her wall, they're wearing plaid shirts and going fishing. Various reports, and online interviews present their family as agreeable people who seek consensus and fair democratic solutions to problems. My supervisor is very easy going and doesn't give off any vibe of snobbishness. It's more like when you take a step back and assess what Monsanto does to the world (one of the corporate boards he used to have some connection with), that is where the bad things happen - farmer's are poor because of price fixing or people can't afford food because of price fixing on the other side.
