Maybe because he IS a socialist. The difference is he is honest about it while still attempting to respect the Constitution.

Even canada is apparently somewhat socialist.. What the big divide seems to be is those who want national sovreignty and the rights we have had, and those for Globalization

It's socialist to a degree. Our healthcare is free yet our taxes are double what it is in the states. Our head of state, still, and always will be, the Queen of England. We are a constitutional monarchy who owe our loyalties to the Queen. Don't worry, our people are as ignorant to this as yours, yet the Governor-General (The Queen's representative)  had closed the doors to democratic elections to prevent a MINORITY government from being ousted, who just happens to be a Bush/Obama lapdog.

Yeah no kidding I cant believe they did that, it was certainly a show of power,
demonstrating who really runs the show in Canada. Stephen Harper has been a disaster

And nobody even noticed it happened. We had no government all Christmas,
and then all the 2007 "everything will be great and dont worry at all" turned into
yeah we dont have any money

pretty much.

he believes in social justice and fights for social justice all the time. But he uses the constitution in order to pursue social justice. most of the time it is in his congressional inquiries and he also voted for the national service crap. but when he sees feudalistic issues like bailouts, climate bullshit, and deathcare...he is vociforously against it.

he is a goof friend of ron paul and i believe that the only candidates on the GOP and Dem side worth a crap are RP and DK.

Now that is presidential runoff worthy of true constitutional debates.

He is also 100% against banksters and has built his entire political career on this long fight.

He's heavy for gun control too though. After the Virginia Tech shooting I think he brought forth a bill to have new restrictions on handguns.

yup i hope he goes down the cynthia mckinney path on that one. she was worse than him and now she is against any type of gun control.
