Attacking soldiers doesn't count as being a terrorist. Minor quibble.

It can now be divulged that alleged Fort Hood, Texas shooter, U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, has operated for years as a covert U.S. CIA Intelligence agent as well as an FBI informant and has recently been supplying evidence detailing the link between the alleged 9/11 perpetrators aka patsies and the East German DVD-Israeli Mossad 9/11 Al Qaeda Hamburg terrorist cell code name 'Becker'

Special Report: TERRORIST HASAN WAS BUSH HOMELAND SECURITY ADVISOR

FT. HOOD TERRORIST ON BUSH PRESTIGIOUS HOMELAND SECURITY TRANSITION TEAM

HASAN TIES TO GOP SUBJECT TO MASSIVE DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN AND COVERUP

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

"Lucy, you got some splainin' to do."

The task force at George Washington University designated with establishing transitional procedures in the Global War on Terror included Major Hasan, mass murder and terrorist, and, as we now learn, long time terrorist suspect.  Where do we start?  Do we wonder why our troops have a psychiatrist who is not only a potential terrorist but known to be extremely mentally unbalanced?  Who, in the Bush Administration chose Hasan and helped him pass America's highest security clearances?

Do any of us wonder why President Bush would have a terrorist helping with his transitional policy?  This put Hasan, under investigation for ties to Al Qaeda, at the heart of our government's counter-terrorist planning organization with full daily access to nearly all major leaders in Homeland Security, Defense, the FBI, CIA, NSA and other key agencies.  He was one of them, along with representatives of conservative "think tanks" that advised the Bush Administration on a daily basis.  Was he there because he reminded them of an Islamic version of Dick Cheney?  Please, someone, let's hear an explanation for this.

Below is a cutout from the membership roster of those advising the Bush Administration.  You will note Hasan's name among some of the best known security experts in America.  We were told he was an Army psychiatrist with severe psychological problems who belonged to a mosque run by terrorists.

Hasan served with these individuals.  Why was he here?

The question we ask, is why was a simple low ranking military officer with a disasterous career, horrible security baggage and a Palestinian background placed at the center of the decision making apparatus of the Bush presidency?

The entire text of the procedings report and full membership are listed below.  Hasan's name stands out like a rapper at a Klan rally.  It doesn't take a genius to believe that Hasan had friends in high places, and that, despite every imaginable reason to see he shouldn't even practice medicine, much less be in the American military or treat troops suffering from combat stress, he was placed among the most influential and powerful Americans.

One could suggest that, since Hasan was in town and had nothing to do for the few months other than to work with thousands of patients returning from Iraq and, in the process, mingle with terrorist sympathizers and prove himself to be dangerously unstable and utterly useless as a physician and psychiatrist, he might as well be included in intelligence planning at the highest levels.

I can see where this could make sense to some, really, I do.  After all, if you were choosing the absolute last person on Earth to include in such a group, the last person to expose to that much intelligence planning and the most dangerous individual imaginable to the safety of so many of our leaders, Hasan is a perfect choice.

Why did he choose to kill soldiers at Ft. Hood when so many of the top members of the Bush Administration would have been available to him at any time?  If none of this makes any sense to you, I think you are beginning to understand.

Who was Major Hasan?  Who was he really?

SOME AREAS OF SPECULATION ABOUT MAJOR HASAN:

Hasan joined the Army at 18, entered and completed, not only college, but medical school and a residency in psychiatry at Walter Reed Hospital.  This is an amazing accomplishment.

His attendance at the above mentioned meetings based on a careful analysis of subject matter and the expertise level of everyone involved made the likelihood of a junior officer specializing in combat stress being invited unlikely.  Hasan would have to have been an intelligence asset of some kind.

Were this the case, as it most likely is, and taking into account that at least some of the accusations made against him are other than part of a coverup, Hasan was unstable.  Stating this about a psychiatrist is not much of a stretch.

His first targets were coworkers.  Were Hasan cross trained in intelligence and tasked with communicating with insurgents prior to deployment, the stress could have been enormous.  Hasan seems to have responded to having to pretend to be a terrorist by actually becoming one.

The more we read about his attendance at a 'terrorist Mosque" and connections with Al Qaeda, the more likely our assumptions are the correct ones.  It is far more likely that a double agent would become suicidally unbalanced than for a terrorist to, not only be promoted to Major in the US Army, but to be put on a high security intelligence transition team.

There may have been a time when the US Army believed Major Hasan would be of enormous value to them in ways quite unrelated to practicing medicine.  The Major Hasan we now know is a terrorist.  He may not always have been so.

This evening, the Associated Press states:

"Investigators from the Fort Hood shootings say that Nidal Malik Hasan acted alone and that no evidence supports the theory that Hasan had outside help or orders about the massacre. Though in late 2008 Hasan did communicate with radical imam Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni who now lives overseas and has ties to terrorist groups, the messages "did not advocate violence or threaten violence." Sources say that the communications were consistent with Hasan's research as an Army psychologist on post-traumatic stress disorder. The FBI has launched an investigation into how it handled, or perhaps mishandled, the information it had on Hasan."

In a very few hours, the truth has danced like a marionette, across one side of the stage to another.  What can we expect?  We will get an endless supply of interim stories until a commission is appointed to interview witnesses and come to a convenient conclusion that will best serve political necessity.  The same among us will be sickened by the process.

Obama Urges Congress to Delay Fort Hood Investigation

On an eight-day Asia trip, President Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater."

President Obama on Saturday urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes into the shootings at the Texas Army post, which left 13 people dead.

On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater." He said those who died on the nation's largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft.

"The stakes are far too high," Obama said in a video and Internet address released by the White House while the president he was flying from Tokyo to Singapore, where Pacific Rim countries were meeting.

Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, was charged on Thursday with the shooting spree at Fort Hood last week. Army investigators have said Hasan is the only suspect and could face additional charges.

Obama already had ordered a review of all intelligence related to Hasan and whether the information was properly shared and acted upon within government agencies. Several members of Congress, particularly Michigan Rep. Peter Hoekstra, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, have also called for a full examination of what agencies knew about Hasan's contacts with a radical Muslim cleric in Yemen and others of concern to the U.S.

Hoekstra confirmed this week that government officials knew of about 10 to 20 e-mails between Hasan and the radical imam, beginning in December 2008.

A joint terrorism task force overseen by the FBI learned late last year of Hasan's repeated contact with the cleric, who encouraged Muslims to kill U.S. troops in Iraq. The FBI said the task force did not refer early information about Hasan to superiors because it concluded he wasn't linked to terrorism.

Lawmakers, however, already have announced they want their own investigations and were frustrated with what they view as a less-than-forthcoming administration.

Rep. Howard McKeon, R-Calif., said he wanted to go ahead with an investigation from the House Armed Services Committee, where he is the top Republican. He said he wanted an investigation that wouldn't compromise law enforcement or military investigations that were continuing on separate tracks.

In the Senate, Sen. Joe Lieberman, a Connecticut independent, said his Homeland Security Committee was opening an investigation.

Obama said he was not opposed to hearings -- eventually. But he strongly pressed lawmakers to hold off until the probes now under way are completed.

"There is an ongoing investigation into this terrible tragedy," Obama said. "That investigation will look at the motives of the alleged gunman, including his views and contacts."

"We must compile every piece of information that was known about the gunman, and we must learn what was done with that information. Once we have those facts, we must act upon them."

Bush opposes commission to probe 9/11 warnings

BERLIN (AP) — President Bush said Thursday he opposes establishing a special commission to probe how the government dealt with terror warnings before Sept. 11, saying the matter should be dealt with by congressional intelligence committees.

   America on Alert

Bush also expressed reservations about releasing a memo he received last August that carried a warning that Islamic extremists might try to hijack an airliner.

"We're still at war," the president said. "We've still got threats to the homeland that we've got to deal with, and it's very important for us not to hamper our ability to wage that war." He said it is important to act in a manner that does not jeopardize intelligence-gathering.

Bush said the investigation of possible intelligence lapses should be confined to Congress despite a call by Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and others for a special commission.
Bush said the members of the Senate and House intelligence committees "understand the obligations of upholding our secrets and our sources and methods of collecting intelligence. And therefore I think that's the best place for Congress to take a good look at the events leading up to Sept. 11."

The president spoke at a joint news conference with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on the first stop of a four-nation European trip.

Bush said he retains "great confidence" in the CIA and FBI despite revelations about advance intelligence that terrorists might hijack an airplane.

Bush's remarks came a day after Vice President Dick Cheney said a new series of public terror warnings was based on increased threats and was not a political strategy to deflect criticism of the administration's handling of pre-Sept. 11 intelligence.

"The fact is there is reason to believe that the threat level has increased somewhat," Cheney said Wednesday on CNN's Larry King Live. "We see more noise in the system, more reporting that leads us to be cautious here. We haven't changed our practices at all in terms of when we decide to go public and caution people."

Authorities continued to tighten security around New York City landmarks after the FBI disclosed uncorroborated information from detainees that sites such as the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge might be attacked.

Cheney said the White House was not raising the nationwide terrorism alert status — currently at yellow, the third-highest of five levels — because intelligence on possible attacks was too vague.

Cheney also said a special, independent commission into how the government dealt with terror warnings before Sept. 11 would result in intelligence leaks. Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., have proposed that a special commission investigate the matter and have suggested that more should have been done with the advance intelligence.

Congress is already investigating.

"Our concern is that if we lay another investigation on top of that we'll just multiply potential sources of leaks and disclosures of information we can't disclose," Cheney said. "The key to our ability to defend ourselves and to take out the terrorists lies in intelligence."

Daschle questioned the Bush administration's motive for resisting the commission.

"I think while we respect the need for secrecy, we also have a strong belief in the need for sharing information so that we can make good judgments about the facts," Daschle said in a speech at the National Press Club. "And there is an increasing pattern that I find in this administration that reflects an unwillingness to share information — not only with us but within their own administration; one department not telling the other, people in positions of responsibility not telling the president."

The political battle intensified Wednesday over what information the government had before Sept. 11 about possible terror attacks. For the second day, FBI Director Robert Mueller and agent Kenneth Williams testified behind closed doors to lawmakers investigating what the government knew.

Williams wrote a pre-Sept. 11 warning about Arab students at an Arizona flight school that he hoped would lead to screenings of Middle Easterners who came to study U.S. airport operations, according to government officials familiar with his account.

Williams' July 10, 2001, memo linked the Arab students to a militant Muslim group in London whose leader openly supported Osama bin Laden, said government officials, speaking on condition of anonymity.

On Tuesday, both Mueller and Williams gave testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee. They appeared before the House and Senate Intelligence committees Wednesday.

Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, called the memo "highly embarrassing to the bureau" and urged its public release.

FEMA Official Regrets Phony Press Briefing

(CBS/AP)  CBS News has obtained this photo of the now infamous fake FEMA press conference held during the California wildfires. The photo, taken by a FEMA employee, is one of the only known photos of the press gallery of that event.

The gallery is not filled with members of the press but with high-level agency employees.

At the podium on the left is Vice Admiral Harvey Johnson, the second in command at FEMA.

The former director of public affairs at the agency, John "Pat" Philbin told CBS News last week, "I am not aware that he knew what was happening and all of sudden staff were asking questions."

Identified in the photo are staff members that Johnson works closely with on a daily basis.

From left to right: Nathaniel Fogg, Counselor to the Director and Deputy Director; John "Pat" Philbin, former Director of External Affairs; Michael Widomski, Public Affairs Specialist; Eric Heighberger, Special Assistant, Office of the Administrator; Cindy Taylor (in tan suit), Communications Deputy Director; Dan Shulman (red tie), Director of Legislative Affairs; Debbie Wing (curly blond hair), Media Response Liaison; Aaron Walker (back to camera), National Spokesman.

It was announced Thursday that an internal investigation had found that FEMA's press secretary encouraged, and in some cases instructed, employees to pose as reporters and ask questions at the fake news conference.

At the same time, the investigation, which was conducted by Homeland Security Department spokesman Russ Knocke, concluded that officials at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, did not set out to deceive the public. Knocke blamed bad decision-making and a rush to get out information about wildfires that were raging in southern California.

"Much like in an airline crash or automobile accident that was reconstructed, there were several different points leading up to the press conference where, had a single decision been made differently, the event itself could have been averted," Knocke said Thursday.

Aaron Walker, the FEMA press secretary, has since accepted a job with a public relations firm in Utah. He said Thursday that FEMA Administrator R. David Paulison did not ask him to leave as a result of the incident or the investigation's findings.

On Oct. 23, reporters were given 15 minutes' notice for what turned into a staged question-and-answer briefing with FEMA's deputy administrator about the California fires. No genuine journalists attended, although they were given a conference call number they could use to listen in but not ask questions. A half-dozen questions were asked at the event by FEMA staff members posing as reporters.

Since the briefing Philbin - who, at the time of the news conference, already had accepted a job at the office of the director of national intelligence - lost his new post before he even started because of the incident.

The incident has been condemned by the White House and by Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. Paulison called it "an egregious decision."

A FEMA official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the investigation found that during the news conference Walker advised the staff that the briefing continued to be televised and that they should continue to ask questions. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about personnel matters.

Walker, in an interview Thursday, said he had asked his boss to push back the time of the news conference, which had been hastily set for 1 p.m. Walker said he sent a 12:17 p.m. e-mail to Philbin and Homeland Security's assistant secretary for public affairs, Ed Fox, and asked for more time, but the e-mail went unanswered.

The agency's deputy administrator, Harvey Johnson, called on FEMA employees by name during the news conference and knew they weren't reporters.

The Homeland Security Department, of which FEMA is a part, directed FEMA officials to hold a news conference that day before Chertoff and Paulison landed in California, but did not designate a specific time, the FEMA official said.

Since the incident, the department suffered another public relations embarrassment when it was discovered that the assistant secretary of Immigration and Customs Enforcement judged a Halloween costume contest and awarded "most original" to an employee dressed in dreadlocks, dark makeup and prison stripes. That employee has been placed on leave.

no relation.

The former director of public affairs at the agency, John "Pat" Philbin told CBS News last week, "I am not aware that he knew what was happening and all of sudden staff were asking questions."

otherwise, this is all very interesting - is it like they're BURNING THEIR OWN? Maybe a more realistic call would be to search for follow-ups on the lives of those on the original list. Their lives may be in severe danger.

Has there been any comment extracted/found from Hasan himself as to motive/mood on the day? You know you'll not find out the truth from an Army Investigation. Those guys off each other all the time.

they said there are dozens of emails between him and some crazy terrorist leader and that the Pentagon/DoD/FBI do not know completely about these emails or that the emails did not warrant further investigation.

Well a few things are definitely possible...

1] This guy was involved in some of the most deceptive teams regarding homeland security/terrorism. he could have been part of some infiltration technique used to set up these crazy terrorist leaders (plausible but does not seem like a sure thing).

2] The people managing these ancillary investigative services for the FBI/DoD (companies  like CACI/Kroll/SITE) regularly lie about the intelligence information (that might be the most likely, but not sure)

3] The crazy terrosit leader is another controlled opposition CIA agent/assett like Osama Bin Laden, Zakawii, all the rest (this seems real likely and probably why this area of investigation will be dropped because then it would reveal that this guy is a CIA assett to provoke and assist the Terrorist Indiustrial Complex by having an enemy that otherwise would not exist).

I AM THINKING THAT OPTION 3 IS LOOKING MORE AND MORE LIKELY!

We also have him as a member of the 9/11 hijackers' mosque. WELL THE 9/11 HIIJACKERS WERE PART OF A CIA PROJECT!

THE MOSQUE IS PROBABLY ALSO A CIA FRONT!

A Sibel Edmonds 'Bombshell'
Bin Laden Worked for U.S. Until at least 9/11/2001

http://www.bradblog.com/?p=7332
By Brad Friedman on 7/31/2009 1:07PM

Edmonds expert fills in details from recent BRAD BLOG interview with noted, gagged FBI translator/whistleblower...

During my recent interview with FBI translator-turned-whistleblower Sibel Edmonds on the Mike Malloy Show, a caller had asked her opinion on whether she believed 9/11 to have been "an inside job."

Edmonds replied by first specifying "As I have done for the past 7 or 8 years, I have basically stuck with what I know, first-hand, directly, my own knowledge, based on my own experience, based on what I obtained, which is not a lot, but it is extremely important."

After explaining the difference between what she does and doesn't know first hand, she went on to explain: "I have information about things that our government has lied to us about. I know. For example, to say that since the fall of the Soviet Union we ceased all of our intimate relationship with Bin Laden and the Taliban - those things can be proven as lies, very easily, based on the information they classified in my case, because we did carry very intimate relationship with these people, and it involves Central Asia, all the way up to September 11." ...

Her complete response, pulled from the lengthy interview (full, commercial-free audio here) has been transcribed by Luke Ryland, perhaps the world's foremost expert in all things Sibel Edmonds related.

Today in a highly-recommended diary at dKos, Ryland filled in a good chunk of details from Edmonds' references, reporting that her comments are, in fact, a "bombshell"...
Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman (audio, partial transcript).

In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained 'intimate relations' with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, "all the way until that day of September 11."

These 'intimate relations' included using Bin Laden for 'operations' in Central Asia, including Xinjiang, China. These 'operations' involved using al Qaeda and the Taliban in the same manner "as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict," that is, fighting 'enemies' via proxies.

As Sibel has previously described, and as she reiterates in this latest interview, this process involved using Turkey (with assistance from 'actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia') as a proxy, which in turn used Bin Laden and the Taliban and others as a proxy terrorist army.

After filling in many of the details, with scores of informational links to support the allegations, Ryland summarizes thusly:
The bombshell here is obviously that certain people in the US were using Bin Laden up to September 11, 2001.

It is important to understand why: the US outsourced terror operations to al Qaeda and the Taliban for many years, promoting the Islamization of Central Asia in an attempt to personally profit off military sales as well as oil and gas concessions.

The silence by the US government on these matters is deafening. So, too, is the blowback.

Good Morning America learns that Bin Laden is CIA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UGXVic15ho

Posted: 8/31/05

After a report was delivered to Congress on the evening of August 23, information of a classified document spanning hundreds of pages detailing the Central Intelligence Agency's intelligence failures prior to Sept. 11 became known to the public.

CIA Inspector General John Helgerson told director Porter Goss that the findings warrant an accountability board to take disciplinary action against current and former CIA employees.

This accountability board being authorized by Goss, much less making groundbreaking findings, is highly unlikely. For one thing, Goss is an undeniably partisan appointee. He is the only congressman other than George Bush, Sr. to take over the top CIA post, and his investigation into the Valerie Plame affair has been practically non-existent.

Both presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush held the presidency during George Tenet's tenure, so any criticisms of Tenet will lead back to the presidency. Neither side wants that.

Clinton missed opportunities during his presidency to capture Osama Bin Laden, including in the fall of 2000, when spy planes over Afghanistan sent video feeds to the CIA, showing a man that many intelligence analysts believe is bin Laden (NBC).

Under the Bush Administration's watch, according to French intelligence, Bin Laden was treated in an American hospital in Dubai for 10 days in July 2001, where he was visited by a CIA agent.

Former CIA Executive Director A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard (March 2001-November 2004), should be a target of any investigation into the Sept. 11 attacks. Buzzy was the head of the A.B. Brown investment firm until 1998 when he came to the CIA as then-director George Tenet's counsel.

It was the Brown investing arm of Deutsche Bank/A.B. Brown (the largest bank in Europe) that in one trade made a $2.5 million profit in "put options" (bets a stock will fall) placed on United Airlines just prior to Sept. 11. That prize was never claimed.

Early this year, Krongard suggested capturing Bin Laden wasn't such a good idea, saying, "You can make the argument we're better off with him (at large). Because if something happens to bin Laden, you might fight a lot of people vying for his position and demonstrating how macho they are by unleashing a stream of terror."

Bin Laden was a CIA asset from 1979 to 1989, when he went under the codename of "Tim Osmond." The CIA's treatment of him, even after the rise of anti-Western Muslim extremism, leaves the possibility he remains an asset to this day. Also questionable was the Sept. 11 breakfast meeting on Capitol Hill of then House and Senate intelligence heads Porter Goss and Bob Graham with Mahmoud Ahmad, head of Pakistani intelligence. According to Indian intelligence, it was Ahmad's agency that had recently wired $100,000 to Mohammed Atta, the lead hijacker.

The three were still eating as the planes hit the World Trade Center in New York. According to Senator Graham, during the meeting, "We were talking about terrorism, specifically terrorism generated from Afghanistan." Goss also has his hands dirty from Operation Mongoose (the plan to overthrow Castro) from his time as a CIA officer from 1962 to 1972.

As the 9/11 Commission showed, any investigative team from within the power structures of the U.S. government is going to come to the same conclusions: our government was not complicit, and any failings were an honest mistake.

Bin Laden and the CIA
Is Bush Guilty of Mass Murder?

http://www.counterpunch.org/nimmo01282003.html
By KURT NIMMO January 28, 2003

"How can you call George Bush a mass murderer?" a recent email asked. "In order for him to be classified as a mass murderer, he would have to kill all those people you say he's killed with his own hands."

Let us begin by using the logic of government, in particular the government of California when it prosecuted Charles Manson over thirty years ago. Manson did not personally murder Sharon Tate, et al, he ordered his crazed minions to do it. In fact, when the murders occurred, Manson wasn't even at the scene. Yet he was convicted of murder and sentenced to death (a sentence that was never carried out after California repealed in the death penalty in the early 70s).

If we use the above criteria, Bush is a mass murderer.

But then presidents are never prosecuted for murder, let alone convicted. Bush ordered the US military to bomb Afghanistan -- an act resulting in approximately five thousand murders -- supposedly to get bin Laden and his cronies who are believed to have perpetuated the 911 atrocities. Yet bin Laden was not killed or were any of his high-ranking followers. The people who died were mostly peasants and lowly Taliban. Exactly zero percent, far as we know, of these people were responsible for 911.

I will go one better.

Bush didn't kill bin Laden because the Saudi is a CIA asset. Bin Laden was the "Pearl Harbor" the neocons have talked about now for years, well before Bush was elected (excuse me, appointed) to the presidency.

It's common knowledge that bin Laden was funded by the CIA to fight the Soviet occupation troops in Afghanistan. Andrew Evered Allen, a reclusive millionaire and CIA insider, admitted as much in court documents. He also admitted the CIA is attempting to overthrow the government of Myanmar, or Burma.

Overthrowing governments and killing dissidents is what the CIA does.

Mark Zapezauer has written extensively on CIA operations in Afghanistan under the Reagan regime. Reagan and the CIA spent between five and six billion dollars to bankroll and equip the drug trafficking Afghan mujihadeen, the largest and most expensive operation ever conducted by the CIA. As Ahmed Rashid has detailed, between 1982 and 1992 some 35,000 Muslim radicals from 43 Islamic countries trained and fought with the Afghan mujihadeen. Reagan's CIA director, William Casey, orchestrated the recruitment and arming of these vicious anti-Soviet warriors.

One of these warriors was a young Saudi student, Osama bin Laden.

It's not like the CIA to let an asset like that wither on the vine, especially considering the well-documented connections between Bush Republicans and Osama bin Laden going back 20 or more years. (Read Michel Chossudovsky's "Who Is Osama Bin Laden?")

As Michael C. Ruppert points out, "Bin Laden's role has not just been as a practitioner of terrorist acts but as a trainer and supplier of terrorist organizations around the world. Included in bin Laden's coterie are terrorist groups linked to the Balkans, Albania, the KLA (a U.S. ally), and rebel groups leading the insurrection against Russia in Chechnya."

In other words, the CIA used the bin Laden network (the media calls it "al-Qaeda," although no such organization really exists) on several occasions. The CIA (and the Bush neocons) will use it again in the future. It's too valuable to eradicate.

Bush and the neocon chicken hawks tapped into this CIA-cultivated network well before 911. The neo-fascist PNAC (Project for the New American Century) organization (a "think tank" founded by the warmongers Robert Kagan and William Kristol) essentially sketched out the Bush worldview and plan of attack for global dominance, which naturally includes plenty of mass murder (no problem for the butcher of Texas, who oversaw the execution of 152 humans while governor).

As Australia's Sunday Herald reported last September, the Bush neocons-in-waiting (Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Dubya's little bother Jeb, and Lewis "Scooter" Libby) had PNAC contrive a "blueprint for maintaining global U.S. pre-eminence... and shaping the international security order in line with American principles and interests," an ambitious conspiracy to be carried out by "the cavalry on the new American frontier."

In other words, a diagram for mass murder on a global scale.

Remember: "international security order" is code for making sure US-backed brutal dictators rule over "strategic" places all over the world (places with a lot of valuable natural resources such as oil, diamonds, rainforests, minerals, agriculturally viable land, etc.); "international security order" translates into more torture, genocide, environmental degradation, and looting of water resources, social programs, schools, hospitals, etc., by banks and transnational corporations.

It's US foreign policy on steroids. It's the selfish and anti-social (or sociopathic) rich minority cannibalizing the vast majority of humanity for private gain. It's criminal -- and now it will include murder like we have not witnessed since WWII.

After PNAC drafted up this connivance, Bush had his little brother fix the election in Florida and the neo-fascist majority of the Supreme Court made sure it stuck. Computer voting machines owned by rich Republicans (i.e., Election Systems & Software and the McCarthy Group) will make sure it happens again. It essentially matters not if you vote, sit out elections, or write angry letters to your rich lawyer or business congress person.

All Bush needed to get the ball rolling was have the CIA engineer "some catastrophic and catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor," an "opportunity of ages," as PNAC described it.

Deliverance came gift wrapped on September 11, 2001.

Unlike Clinton, who vacillated somewhat on the prospect of killing a lot of people in one fell swoop (he preferred to kill small numbers over a long period of time), Bush has no problem ordering the mass murder of 500,000 or more humans in one blitzkrieg-like "operation" conducted by "the cavalry on the new American frontier."

In the weeks ahead, Bush will, like Hitler and Stalin before him, order the unconscionable murder of untold thousands of innocent humans in the name of the PNAC-envisioned imperium.

As is now painfully obvious, the American citizenry can do almost nothing to stop the impending blood bath about to unfold in Iraq (and maybe Saudi Arabia). Bush, the vicious frat boy who once tortured small animals, will not be dissuaded, he will not listen to the American people because they did not elect him and he does not represent them.

Bush was "elected" by the Enron and Lockheed Martin class of rich people who thrive on fraud, deception, murder, and theft. Bush represents transnational corporations, the kind run by criminals such as Dick Cheney and Ken Lay.

So determined to kill is the unelected president of the United States, he is now considering using nukes in Iraq if Saddam Hussein resists invasion with biological or chemical weapons. Bush will soon be a war criminal of immense, possibly so far unattained magnitude.

We can only hope there's enough left after this madman is finished (enough of a civilization and legal system, that is, left intact) so we can bring him and the other life-negating neocons and miscellaneous warmongers up on charges of crimes against humanity.

It may make the Nuremberg war crimes trials look like kindergarten.

I thinkthat the RFK documentaries are excellent in showing that Hasan fits the profile of a Sirhan Sirhan patsy, but the best documentary IMO that exposes how these so called terrorists are created from international intelligence agencies, never investigated, able to roam freely even though authorities are alerted all of the time, and then covered up is fabled enemies...

Army psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan is suspected of a deadly rampage at the Fort Hood base in Texas.

Military and law enforcement investigators have located e-mails from alleged Fort Hood shooter Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan to people associated with Al Qaeda, two U.S. officials told Fox News on the condition of anonymity.

These officials would not say if Hasan actually received any replies from the "extremists" he tried to contact, but one official said the intelligence suggests the people he was trying to reach "did not take Hasan seriously."

Both officials would not confirm an earlier ABC News report that this information was known by intelligence officials months ago.

The ABC News report wasn't clear whether the agencies relayed this information to the Army

A U.S. intelligence official told Fox News that it would be wrong to say the CIA had information about Hasan contacting Al Qaeda that they did not share with the Army.

"There's no sign at this point that the CIA had collected information relevant to this case and then simply sat on it," an intelligence official told Fox News.

The intelligence official did not comment on whether the CIA has any information.

The report comes as news surfaced that the family of the alleged Fort Hood shooter held his mother's funeral at the same Virginia mosque that two Sept. 11 hijackers attended in 2001, at a time when a radical imam preached there.

Whether the Fort Hood shooter associated with the hijackers is something the FBI will probably look into, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

The family of Maj. Hasan, the Army psychiatrist who killed 13 and wounded 29 at the Texas military base, held his mother's funeral at the Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., on May 31, 2001, according to her obituary in the Roanoke Times newspaper.

In 2001, Anwar Aulaqi was an imam, or spiritual leader, at the Washington-area mosque. Aulaqi told the FBI in 2001 that, before he moved to Virginia in early 2001, he met with 9/11 hijacker Nawaf al-Hazmi several times in San Diego. Al-Hazmi was at the time living with Khalid al-Mihdhar, another hijacker. Al-Hazmi and another hijacker, Hani Hanjour, attended the Dar al Hijrah mosque in Virginia in early April 2001.

In his FBI interview, Aulaqi denied ever meeting with al-Hazmi and Hanjour while in Virginia.

Aulaqi, a native-born U.S. citizen, left the United States in 2002, eventually traveling to Yemen. He was investigated by the FBI in 1999 and 2000 after it was learned that he may have been contacted by a possible procurement agent for Osama bin Laden. During this investigation, the FBI learned that Aulaqi knew people involved in raising money for Hamas, a Palestinian group on the U.S. State Department's terrorist list.

Imam Johari Abdul-Malik, outreach director at Dar al Hijrah, said he did not know whether Hasan ever attended the mosque but confirmed that the Hasan family participated in services there. Abdul-Malik said the Hasans were not leaders at the mosque and their attendance was utterly normal.

The Falls Church mosque is one of the largest on the East Coast, and thousands of worshippers attend prayers and services there every week. Abdul-Malik said it's a mistake for people to conflate regular attendance at a mosque with extremism.

Many Muslims pray at the mosque multiple times a day, he said. "It's part of family life. It's like going out for ice cream after dinner."

Faizul Khan, former imam of the Muslim Community Center in nearby Silver Spring, Md., where Hasan also worshipped, said he was not aware that Hasan had attended services at Dar al Hijrah but said it would not be unusual for Hasan to attend more than one mosque concurrently.

Khan said he did not recall Hasan mentioning having been taught or preached to by Aulaqi.

The London Telegraph first reported the potential link between Hasan and the mosque.

Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey said Sunday it's important for the country not to get caught up in speculation about Hasan's Muslim faith, and he has instructed his commanders to be on the lookout for anti-Muslim reaction to the killings at the Texas post.

He says focusing on the Islamic roots of the suspected shooter could "heighten the backlash" against all Muslims in the military.

Casey says diversity in the military "gives us strength."

Casey declined to answer questions about the investigation into the shooting, but said evidence to this point shows that Hasan acted alone. He toured Fort Hood on Friday with Army Secretary John McHugh.

Casey appeared on ABC's "This Week" and CNN's "State of the Union."

The true story of JIM JONES has been told by the special operations commander in charge of the compartmentalized clean up. He is also real life person of whom the character "RAMBO" is based on. The reason that his truth can never be admitted is BECAUSE THE PROJECT IS STILL GOING ON!

Well now we know why the FBI and the DOD backed off from investigating him before all this jumped off.  He was one of the crew.

It does not suprise me tha Obama is declaring a hold on this or the next week, no more MSM reporting untill the facts are our , or whatever he spins.

In reality this will give the think tankers time to develop
anothery  spin or create another scenerio to smoke this one out.

This will be borring for the silent majority, the easiest solution for many is to turn on the TV watch a citcom and label this guy a lone shooter and Muslim terrorist. See, easy isn't it. No thinking required,no investigation, nor time lost on the nightly boob tube.

Ignorence is bliss, so is a labotomy.

CLG also mentions Hasan's name showing up on the GWU Homeland Security report.  Also mentioned is the discovery of video of Hasan at a Homeland Security conference.

MAJOR HASAN’S MOSQUE LINKED TO THE CIA’S CHECHEN TERRORISTS

... In recent years, Major Hasan attended a mosque in Silver Spring Maryland which hosted fundraising for CIA covert operations against Russia: “Imam Faizul Khan ministered to Hasan when he worshiped at the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring , Md . The Muslim Community Center has held fundraisers for Chechen jihadists, and promotes on its website a Shariah-based financial product offered by a Muslim Brotherhood front group under federal investigation.” The essential element here is that the mosque was raising money for Chechen rebellion, which is notoriously a strategic tool of the United States and the United Kingdom against Russia. …

2009: Robert Gates Orders up an Investigation Headed by TOGO WEST and VERNON CLARK
Alex Constantine: Both have extensive right-wing CIA, intelligence contractor and military-industrial ties:

Pentagon Probe Leaders Visit Fort Hood to Begin Investigation | 24 Nov 2009

Leaders of a Pentagon-appointed task force charged with investigating what factors led to the Fort Hood massacre Nov. 5 and recommending policies to prevent future attacks began their review today, saying their job is not ‘to point fingers.’ Togo West, former Secretary of the Army and Secretary of Veterans Affairs during the Clinton administration, and former Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Vernon Clark, are leading the review board. They arrived at the Fort Hood base today to begin what will be a 45-day investigation.”

The testimony of the witnesses at the military's version of a grand jury describe a shooter who very well trained in small arms firing:

http://www.kdhnews.com/news/story.aspx?s=45265   day 3
--...several soldiers have beat and testified to the same steady, fast rate of fire, broken only by pauses for reloading.
--Two soldiers from the 1908th Medical Detachment ...  said they saw an older civilian with white hair run yelling towards the shooter with a chair held over his head, only to be shot multiple times. One said the man sustained three to four shots up and down the front of his body.

http://www.kdhnews.com/news/story.aspx?s=45345  day 4
--Sgt. Megan Martin.. "...he began to come around the counter and started shooting to the left of me in a fan motion, left to right," detailing the weapon as a small hand gun with a green light and red laser..
