Canada's Bill C-6: Consumer Protection Act

This Bill is in the Canadian Senate but apparently stalled because of criticism from the people (yeah!). It replaces habeus corpus with administration and gives Health Canada powers that even a Canadian should be terrified of. Interestingly, and not unlike the Irish/Lisbon vote, the bill is a reincarnation/repackaging of a previously failed bill (C-52 I believe it was).

This is a 20 minute presentation by constitutional lawyer Shawn Buckley and really shows how they, the supposed protectors of The Law, will do whatever it takes to foritfy their control over people.
