The "Originial" 13th Amendment also pointed out that lawyers were prohibited to serve in public office--therefore making Obama ineligible to be President in the first place.
"If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honour, or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them."

Shortly after this thread was started, as I was answering or clarifying positions on posts here 2 1/2 years ago, I was forced to go on the fly so to speak... it wasn't 'til April the next year that I even remembered that I had written this article.
There are a bunch of threads like this one where my input just stopped at that time. I occasionally stumble across one like this while searching for something totally unrelated in the back pages... and I find myself adding the points I would have posted back then had I had access. Anyway...
The reason why attorneys cannot LAWFULLY hold office, specifically
BARed attorneys is because they have sworn allegiance to the international
British
Accredited
Registry, the
BAR which is a kind of "legal knighthood" of sorts, the oath to which would preclude our Constitutional oath of office... Also, with this "accreditation" comes the royal title
Esquire...
This is a Title of Nobility, and the oath is therefore to the Crown... This is also why the courts as we have them now are not constitutional courts... every judge and attorney in our legal system is compromised... This is of course true of Congress as well as state governments nation wide... thus we have the retaking of "the colonies" through "corporate lawyering" and subterfuge... PRO-SE anyone??
