That wasn't my point - my point was b/w 2 TSHTF scenerios - 1) This crisis coming unto us in a matter of weeks, and lasting for a mere few months, or 2) A slow and painful death like Lindsey described.

Again - I am NOT trying to advocate anything Lindsey said, the point I was trying to make is that b/w these 2 scenerios, Lindsey's seems to be the worst of the 2, quite simply b/c if we're going to have to go through a LONG stretch of losing our incomes,or at best getting our incomes slashed by 90%, we're going to have ONE HECK of a time even buying SOME essentials to live by....which is why every chance you get, do everything you can to stock up on these essentials, even if you have to beat yourself up.

I mean by this time next year, it could very well be the case that alot of us here won't have a dime of an income, will be forced out of our living places, and have to choice but to live out in the woods. IF we have 12-18 months supply of food and water plus ammo, we're going to be in solid shape. But if we just sit back for the next few months watching our favorite football and basketball teams 24/7, we're really going to be screwed over the long haul.

No, I'm not saying scenerio #1 will be easy to get by, but just saying that if we prepare for scenerio #2, we're going to be in very good shape if either scenerio hits.

Any 501(c) three organization has its own set of government regulations... but it all involves a total tax exemption.

JT, I totally agree, but that wouldn't have stopped Alex telling him to get to the point!! Regardless of anything, he should have put it all into 1/3 of the time. If he can't or won't spill his guts, then he should try to limit the time he takes on-air.

Lindsay has a way about him... it's the old style, it's highly repetitive but different each time...In this "post cocaine" world folks now seem to have a very difficult time with the old way which is a way of teaching by repetition, a way of creating understanding through the slight content deviation in the repetition... even Alex would catch himself interrupting at the WRONG point...

Having been instructed in the old way, I can listen without trouble and hear everything he says. In the two hours today he never said the same thing twice... each phrase each sentence was nuanced slightly different referring to a slightly different subject or slant on the subject that fleshes out the truth, the pivotal truth, which was that it all comes to a head in two years... How many of you guys caught the many things that all come to a head in two years..? And it ain't because the Mayans said so... and if you sit down and listen to the last four days with Lindsay you will understand why... so sit back with a beer or two, no multi-tasking, and just listen to the shows.

I have no problem with Lyndsey selling DVD's, but he would have done himself a favor by stating on air how much the DVD costs. Because he must know that people will be calling up expecting it to be $20. That way peeps who can't afford that won't waste money on a phone call.

What he says is interesting, but many other guests better warrant four shows!! I still say that he should have done half an hour compressed show with all the info, then half an hour taking calls. He could have got it all in. He should have spent a little time briefly listing economic issues (coz he isn't an economic expert), then spent more time focusing on his expertise, where he can add his own perspective, which would be the church/state system.

Lindsey is the one guest recently who really HAS hit a lot of things right on the head, being accurate.  None of us needs a crystal ball to see that the economic future looks pretty dire, but if anything is to be taken away from these shows with him, it's that we have potentially two short years before the "official" end.

I personally think Alex has intentionally given all this time to Lindsey because 1) there are new listeners to the show all the time.  How many new listeners this week would know Lindsey was on last week?  How many would research and find out how many times Alex has had Lindsey on recently?  How important is it that those people hear and understand what Lindsey was told?  And 2) Alex obviously thinks this info is of the utmost importance himself.  He could have easily squeezed all this info out of Lindsey in just an hour or two, tops.  But look no further than this thread to see how people are taking the drilling of these bullet points over and over again from Lindsey.    Alex might be doing us a favor and we don't even see it (yet).

I will say this much, because I know it to be truth, and no doubt Lindsey does too, as he's a pastor.  Satan, and the human system he commands (the New World Order), get us all to enslave ourselves.  Think about that.  Really.  Stop and think about it.  How does he do that?  For the individual, through drugs, sex, alcohol, lying, you name it.  How does he do it in society?  By taking something that would seem laudable on the surface and twisting it into us chewing our own feet off.  A good example would be global climate change.  Somehow, we need to be trained, like monkeys, that carbon dioxide is bad.  And apparently the only way to train us monkeys is to tax us to death.  It's for the Earth though, right?  You don't want to hurt the Earth though, do you?  Personally, I don't believe God screwed up when he created the human and plant systems on this planet.  Whose side are you on then?

The important thing Lindsey is saying, and that we all need to think about, is how we are going to react in these next few years.  THAT'S the key.  We probably don't have time to stop really bad things from happening.  Now, it's up to use to use what he's said to protect ourselves, our families, and most of all, the freedoms we all know are inherent to everybody.  Are you going to act on his information?  Are you going to stay in the dollar?  Are you going to get storable food?  Are you going to buy some gold?  Are you going to get right with God?  Are you going to question what EVERYONE says to you, including what comes from the pulpit?  Make no mistake, there is a real polarization happening.  You have no time to sit on the fence any more.  Listen to Lindsey again and again if you have to.  He's telling you common sense things.

Here's the catch - even if you are NOT a 501c3, you STILL can right off these donations on your Sch A. I myself go to a non-501c3 church, and both me and my parents have no problems writing off deductions on our's.

The whole thing was big trap to begin with - even worse, foreigners who come in will do it without even knowing 1/2 or so of the regulations here. For example, the previous Korean church we used go to in our previous city is a 501c3.
