I might have a scientologist firend who is trying to convert me, and he might open my mind by telling me something about how the government is about to sell out to the NWO. So does that lend credibility to the scientology aspect???
No and cause you recognize that he is indoctrinating you. David Icke is a performer of a story that he has collated from some of his work and experiences, other peoples work (which i suspect he finds a personal example to relay that work himself) about is going on from his perspective, and turns it into books and lecture tours. Its a great show and few people are as successful talking about this subject for so many years. I respect them for coming on and doing what they do. He has went through a lot of ridicule and survived that. I respect that also. Thats it. I know where areas he is wrong in and never really get in to it cause it will get picked up by people who only know this stuff half ass, the others already know areas he is kinda wrong or statements he has made which are ridiculous. Its not believing its able to discern whats wrong and take what you like and compare that with others. maybe you should sit through a 8 hour lecture on youtube heck you might like the first 2 hours more or I think i can find a shorter thing. You'll see how he does what he does its not hard if you are at good at writing and "connecting dots". Seems you just put you head in the sand when its something against your beliefs. Also it might be useful to learn some stuff about Scientology then you can further recognize how its infiltrated so many aspects of entertainment. I think of it as learning languages but its stories of what people think is going on. Truth is no one really knows anything for sure. The reptilian thing makes him unique out a set of performers that do this subject.

I own nothing, but I feel we should all take steps to disassociate the cause from other beleif structures which might damage it's credibility. It's been stated a hundred times if it's been stated once, people go to friends, and start talking about Alex Jones, or what we beleive, and then some moron who heard a snippet of Icke's tripe starts blathering on about how anybody who would beleive any of that crap is a lunatic. Just because he opens minds does not mean he should get a free pass on his bullshit. Sometimes a mind that is open to everything is more a liability than it is a boon. I might have a scientologist firend who is trying to convert me, and he might open my mind by telling me something about how the government is about to sell out to the NWO. So does that lend credibility to the scientology aspect???
You're right. Lets keep dividing ourselves and fighting!!! Even though we can all agree on a few points, screw it and throw it all away. We don't agree on everything so everyone else who doesn't believe what you do is a moron and you won't be associated with them! LOL have fun with that and tell me how it goes. I'll be over hanging with people who share some same/different views, trying to learn about different aspects so I can be better informed about the whole picture. Who's the moron? The guy talking about the snippet of David Icke material? Or the person who doesn't take the time to correct the "moron" about some of the material and provide the proof and evidence on that material to sway their opinion back on your side? Hmmmm...

I'm not saying divide anything. I'm justr saying that certain aspects of thought should be intentionally dissassociated with the other. beleive what you want ot beleive, but you need to realize that there are certain things which will give our mutual purpose a black eye. It's akin to a white supremacist showing up here, and blathering about white this and white that, all the while saying he beleives fervently in everything Alex Jones says. Or a militia guy calling for armed conflict openly on this message board. Talking about "shapeshifting aliens" only gives others all that much more ammunition to disarm us, and make us all out to be kooks, even if there is only a fringe movement within the movement that believes that tripe. Of course they would argue that we are all unstable, not rooted in relaitity, and prone to dellusions. You might not mind that kind of attention, I find it abhorrent. You're right. The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

Of course they would argue that we are all unstable, not rooted in relaitity, and prone to dellusions. You might not mind that kind of attention, I find it abhorrent. This is also my basic stance on Icke. Even if he's correct about the shapeshifters (which I don't believe), who cares? September 11, 2001 happened, whether at the hands of some very bad humans or some very bad shapeshifters. The same is true of the growing police state, multiple wars, etc. Awakening people to what happened on Sept. 11 and to what has happened since that day is what matters to me. Not only does this other issue distract from that mission, it also clearly paints the truth movement as more fringe than it is. People on this board are the first in line to point out all the reasons why defenders of the status quo shouldn't be trusted or believed (whether they be politicians, on-air personalities, psychologists, etc.). Take the Bohemian Grove and issues related to the occult. The perspective often heard is, "Wow, look at these people and what they believe! They worship an owl (or the stars, or the devil, or horoscopes) and celebrate the burning of care. They're all lunatics who can't be trusted!" Icke, meanwhile, believes some things that are at the very least just as unusual as the Bohemians and that are pretty much untestable; but because he says some other things that are consistent with the truth movement we should just overlook the first part. Like it or not, we will never be taken seriously by the masses if the defenders of the status quo can point to these sorts of views as being connected to - or even worse, to being key features of - the truth movement. Just my perspective, but I thought I'd share it.

Really? India Greece Hopi snake priest. Ya ...i guess your right...it was all made up by a guy in the 20th century and everything it has to do with is all made up...definitely no snake worship in separate cultures at all. I'm so glad you proved that with all the proof you have of your side. OMG! There we have it. Proof that serpent beings rule the world. I'm well aware of the historical symbolism throughout the ancient world. Serpent symbolism, as well as insect, fish and bird symbolism is prevalent throughout many cultures, spanning thousands of years. It is well understood by many ancient historians and those who understand the mysteries (they've studied it far more than Icke, who's work is very similar to Tsarion, Maxwell and Sitchin) that the serpent is simply representative of a deeper meaning. It means different things for different cultures. In a lot of cultures, the serpent simply represents wisdom and cunning. I've just come up with an idea. The elite are really half-human, half-bird. They can shapeshift into a bird and develop wings, enabling them to fly. I've never actually seen them do this but many people throughout the world claimed to have witnessed this, and I've seen some drawings of birds on a rock in many ancient countries. I will now write books about this and go on a worldwide speaking tour, mixing in verifiable fact with this theory (which I will claim is fact). I will also get a cult of followers who will believe everything I say, hailing me as a God that can't possibly be wrong about anything. Is my theory ridiculous? It's no different from Icke's. He simply mixes in documented fact with his ridiculous theory, which is no different from Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. It destroys the real information and makes a mockery of the researchers that provide evidence. If I talk about 9/11 or something serious with friends, family members, or anybody for that matter, I'm put in the same category as David "Reptilian beings rule the world" Icke and made to look like a laughing stock.

They're obviously Vampires... who shapeshift into bats and drink the blood of young fair maidens and virgins alike. Your Birdman theory and my Vampire theory will battle it out in the arena of the absurd. Fight!

I just don't get it. If he wants to believe in reptoids then let him believe! Stop blaming Icke because you can't convince your friends. If you are not doing a good job expressing yourself it is not his fault, it's your own.
He has awoken thousands of people. He doesn't force anyone to believe or not believe anything. He has had a unique set of experiences which has led him to synthesize his own set of beliefs that he then shares with others who can choose whether to believe it or not. He's not forcing, censoring, brainwashing anyone. I suggest you do the same.

He can believe in what he wants. I can criticize him all I want if I think his beliefs are harmful. He has awoken thousands of people. The vast majority of these people believe that we can just sit back and do nothing, because 2012 is coming. If you bring up the real facts, you're "too negative" or you aren't "enlightened". It isn't my fault or anybody else's. We bring up the documented facts and people bring up lizards. It's nothing to do with expressing yourself properly.
