Dobbs Tells Friends He's Considering Run

We noted the speculation earlier this week and now John Fund reports that friends of CNN anchor Lou Dobbs "say he is seriously contemplating" a presidential bid, "although it's still unlikely."

"They spin a scenario under which the acerbic commentator would parachute into the race if Michael Bloomberg, the New York billionaire and favorite of East Coast elites, enters the field as an independent. With Hillary Clinton continuing to score badly in polls in the categories of honesty and integrity, and with the public's many doubts about Rudy Giuliani and other GOP contenders, Mr. Bloomberg may well see an opportunity to roil the political waters by entering the race late. If so, Mr. Dobbs then sees a niche for a 'fourth-party' candidate who could paint the three other contenders as completely out of touch."

"His playbook would be similar to that of Ross Perot in 1992, who didn't enter the presidential race until the major parties began holding their primaries but quickly shot up to 25% in many polls."

Will Lou Dobbs Run For President?
Published by The Watchdog November 16th, 2007 in Video, '08 Election, Lou Dobbs.

I received this video in an email from Stephen, otherwise known as “Lone Wolf.”

"    Friends and neighbors,

Last Saturday evening I was at the Marriott, in Irvine, listening to Lou Dobbs at the World Affairs Council event.

And as I was standing on the media podium, looking through the viewfinder, recording the speech, as my dinner was getting cold on the table, something hit me about Lou’s speech.

And I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

It seems to me, the tour Lou is on, promoting his new book, is a bit more, than just a promotional tour. I might be wrong, but it SEEMS to me, there is a message to this tour.

I keep watching the tape, over and over, and I am trying to read in-between the lines.

And I think I can discern a message … then, again, maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part.

I am going to send you three short clips, please let me know, what you think.

The first clip (I combined the two clips for the video above) is about Lou’s position on running for president.

Please note, he NEVER states, he will not run for president.

He states his wife doesn’t want him to, and he would LOVE to be president for a day, but he isn’t crazy about running for the job.

The second is a clip describing his ideal woman / man for the job.

Notice, that among the most important criteria he mentions the fact that we should be looking for someone who isn’t really interested in the job.

Notice, that he says, once we find the ideal candidate, we should lift him / her up, and not give him / her a choice in the matter …

The third is about the November surprise.

About a populist, who will come to the rescue, at this CRITICAL point in our history.

The rise of this independent, with character, principle, capacity and accomplishment will be STRONG!

And I can’t shake the feeling, that Lou was talking to us, telling us, that he has a good, peaceful life, could continue living in peace and quiet, but, given the calamity, the critical condition facing the nation, looking across the briar patch of worthless political hacks, if we come after him, and NOT GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO SAY NO, he would step into the ring for us …

And if it happens, the Ronald Reagan landslide was NOTHING is US electoral history.
Here is the first clip, about whether he would consider to run.

    Stephen"

I will say this... Lou Dobbs knows something, by the way he's been acting lately.

A Paul-Dobbs ticket would be sweet. I have the utmost respect for both men. Both of them have zero respect for the NWO scum that are trashing this country.

November 16, 2007,  6:11 pm President Dobbs? Nah
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/11/16/president-dobbs-nah/
By Katharine Q. Seelye

Lou Dobbs of CNN swatted away rumors today that he might run for president. “I don’t know where this is coming from,” he said in a quick phone interview. “I have no interest in running, and I’ve said that throughout.” Mr. Dobbs, the host of “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” has been a powerful rallying force for opponents of illegal immigration, arguing for months that Washington has no clue about the concerns of the American people. He say he thought there was “a strong likelihood that an independent populist candidate will emerge in the next several months, whether from an independent movement or from within the party structures.” The Democrats and Republicans, he said, are “two completely homogeneous parties, both dominated by corporate America” and not giving voters much of a choice.

But he will not be that candidate, he said, though he finds “the speculation about me flattering.” An online column in The Wall Street Journal yesterday by John Fund said that friends of Mr. Dobbs said he was “seriously contemplating a race for the first time, although it’s still unlikely.” Mr. Fund said these friends thought that if Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg of New York joined the race as an independent, “Mr. Dobbs then sees a niche for a ‘fourth-party’ candidate who could paint the three other contenders as completely out of touch.” Mr. Fund said that even if Mr. Dobbs doesn’t enter the race, “any such discussion would serve to boost his ratings.”

Dobbs kind of looks to me to mirror Bill Maher.  Both of them seemingly want to reprsent the common American citizen but are servants of the NWO.

Don't forget that Dobbs has close ties to big money on Wall Street from when he reported on it earlier in his career.  Now he spends each show taking on illegals and big govt.....it does not add up.
