Leaderless Resistance - Fighting "Network Centric Warfare" Principals

"In these trying times it is tempting to fall for our "Traditional Enemies" favorite trick - "The Strong Man".

First they sow the chaos as they did in Germany and Russia and then they proffer up the "Leader" who will restore order.

That "Leader" will of course, unfortunately, have to declare martial law and suspend the relevant constitution.

Our traditional Enemy also likes to use complex computer modeling and "Network Centric Warfare" techniques to target, track and eventually assassinate "hubs" in any counter movement. Look at what they have done in Gaza? They have targeted well known ENTIRE families to WIPE OUT important "Hubs" in the Palestinian Resistance Movement.

If chaos be the United States (or else where's) fate, then having a highly "decentralized" movement producing potent counter propaganda will make sure the old "Strong Man" routine cannot be used by them.

Colin Powel is a likely candidate to run a "coup" from the Pentagon to "restore order" - cast out a few members of the Jewish Criminal Networks troop to make us happy, and continue business as usual. In the chaos the "Leaders" that have grown up around knowledge of the history of Jewish Subversion and Criminality will disappear...but thats awfully hard to do when there are Hundreds of million's of us :-)

Get fighting. Get cracking. Get out your video camera and meet them in the streets, on the beaches, in their offices. Give them no rest. Shine a light on them, their criminality - do NOT let these criminals remain anonymous.

P.S: Endorsement of several websites at the end of this video does not represent total agreement with all the views and opinions contained there in. They are for informational purposes only. Take what you will from them. My particular emphasis these days is about "deception" and the infiltration of Movements designed to inform about the particulars of the Judeomasonic Networks. Most people (like I used to be) are completely naive and utterly unprepared to face the enemy."

Someone please see if you can download this (stream capture) asap, and post a link here where it can be downloaded.

The NWO uses leaderless resistance against you by using artificial intelligence agile network centric warfare systems.  They are trying to be more agile than the full collective resistance of free humanity--agile to outmaneuver all of our defenses, such as in the infowar.  As Josh explained, the OODA loop can be broken.  It can also be inundated with an overload of extremely dynamic awareness amongst the masses, so that it cannot craft defenses and offenses to fight back.  Empower yourself with the information in this video.  It will help you tremendously to understand all of the military documents I have posted in the PH.D section, it will help you understand how the NWO carries out false flags, how they operate militarily, and other ways.

a system (by definition) has pre-purged itself of abberent members.
a system (by definition) contains its own arbitrary prejudices upon which it functions.
a system (even a leaderless resistance) assumes that the world works in a specific way.

We all (eventually) understand that to be false/unprovable.

Yes, by SUICIDEing (another name for ASSASSINATING) specific 'leaders in their field' the New World Order are trying to manipulate System Think and create for themselves their own 'intelligent' shoals of fish, neural networks and synchronous fire fly swarmings. But I think this is all an illusion.

I think, as a race, we're so out of touch with these NATURALLY PURGED systems that we could never predict where humanity would go if it didn't have some LEADER influencing how it thought, telling it what to believe; reinforcing the social illusions. I think the hardest thing mankind will face in the future is GROWING UP to the reality of 'reality' and how best to share this wonderful chance with its fellow Earth inhabitants.

Certainly, I'm all for Leaderless Resistance (temporal now) but I don't think such a 'reactionary' concept is a valid way to build a future Human System which will need to PURGE itself of leadership-seeking or profit-making or empire-building. Would religion survive such a global awakening, it being itself part of the corporate propaganda machine since before Christ?

Sad though it is to say, a Leaderless Resistance or Leaderless Groupthink will kill off (brutally) anyone who shows the qualities thousands of years of dedicated breeding has instilled in us. I suspect a Leaderless Humanity would naturally tend towards use of DNA RESEARCH to pre-purge...  yeah, I realise the irony.

Leaderless Humanity is a VERY STRANGE BEAST indeed. I mean, I'm all for change, I'm all for education of the masses, so let's see where we end up. It can't be any less arbitrary than where we already are. And don't be surprised if it's not what we (who thought we saw how the world should be) thought it was going to be.

I had the same thoughts. People are so conditioned to need to be told what to do that it may well be impossible to think and react independently towards a common collective goal.
Flouride, public school, and the tv have turned everyone into hive members waiting for the queen to tell them what color shirt to wear.

An amazing tale that just happens to be true.  This story contains both great examples of judgement and discernment of characters, but also failures, and the consequences that follow.   From:  http://www.holocaust-trc.org/faces.htm

Jacques Lusseyran

Jacques Lusseyran was only seventeen years old when he organized the "Volunteers of Liberty" (Voluntaires de la Liberte) an underground resistance group of university and secondary school students. The "Volunteers" became part of the "Defense de la France", a major underground resistance network affiliated with Charles De Gaulle and the free French government. The Germans occupied Paris from June 14, 1940 until August 25, 1944.

Blinded in an accident when he was eight years old, Lusseyran was a brilliant student and courageous leader who led a double life as resistance fighter and brilliant student until his arrest by the Gestapo and internment at the Buchenwald concentration camp.

The story of Jacques Lusseyran is based on historical accounts of the French resistance and his own autobiography.

Jacques and his family were living in Toulouse when the German army marched up the Champs Elysee, took over the center of the city and threw Paris into chaos. Thousands of people crowded the roads trying to leave and those who remained were relieved that there was no destruction, bombing or shooting. Jacques' father, an engineer, was ordered to return to Paris in September 1940.

The family settled in an apartment on the Boulevard Port-Royal in the Latin Quarter, a part of the city known for centuries as the place where poets, writers, and artists lived, worked and met with one another in the cafes that lined the streets. After the Nazi occupation, the city was wrapped in a silence, broken only by the ringing of the church bells. The familiar sounds of automobiles, buses and trucks had vanished along with the lively chatter that made the streets of Paris so lively. The silence made the streets seem wider and the houses taller.

Ever since he lost his sight in an accident when he was eight years old, Jacques relied on sounds to bring him information and create images in his mind. Without sight, Jacques learned to concentrate his attention to sounds, touch and smell. His family encouraged his independence and never isolated him. He mastered Braille reading and
writing in six weeks and returned to his school his friends. When his family lived in Toulouse, he was as much at home on country roads and mountain hikes as he was on the streets of Paris.

Life in Paris in the autumn of 1940 had become a struggle; food shortages forced housewives to stand in lines for hours waiting to purchase their share of the meager food supplies. The fuel shortage caused constant cold and Paris clocks were turned to Berlin time. Logic seemed to have vanished along with the hustle and bustle of the streets.

No one was talking about the occupation. People turned away from one another when the words "Nazi" "Gestapo", "torture" or "killings" were mentioned. Jacques wondered if people were simply afraid to talk or
afraid to face the reality of the occupation. But like other boys, he was eager to get on with his life. Blind students were required to take a special exam to prove they could keep up with their studies A good student and well prepared, Jacques passed the exam and was accepted to the Louis Le Grand Lycee, a well known secondary school in the Latin Quarter. Impatient to begin his studies he had to wait a month before the lycee opened. The new fascist government had closed all the schools in Paris.

Jacques spent his time rediscovering the Paris streets with his friends, Jean and Francois. His parents gave him the two small rooms in the back of their apartment. A long corridor separated the rooms and this gave Jacques the privacy he needed to study and meet with his friends. Jacques arranged his furniture and stacked his Braille books
neatly against the walls.

The school opened in October and school life resumed in a normal fashion, in spite of the new rules imposed by a government eager to conform to Nazi ideology. The principal read announcements from Marshall Petain and other government officials over the loudspeaker.

Jacques walked to the lycee with Jean and Francois every morning, and could never understand why he attracted so much attention. Groups of other boys seemed always to be trailing behind him and when he reached the school, the concierge greeted Jacques by shouting, "It's the Lusseyran parade".

Enrolled in philosophy, psychology and history classes, Jacques found his history class to be the most interesting. His history teacher commanded Jacques' attention with his rapid speech and warm resonant voice. He told class about the war and Hitler's ambitions. One by one, the Germans occupied Austria, France, Holland, Denmark and Norway. Hitler's plan was to make all of Europe subservient to Germany and 85% of the agricultural and industrial production of France was being sent to Germany.

Incidents of Nazi brutality were becoming more and more obvious and they were happening to people Jacques knew. Francois was almost in tears as he told Jacques of Mr. Weissberg's arrest. Weissberg was Francois' good friend and tutor and when he arrived for his weekly biology lesson, Weissberg's rooms were empty. The concierge told Francois that the Gestapo had arrested Weissberg that morning. Weissberg was Jewish. Soon after Jacques heard about other Jewish friends who were taken away by the Gestapo.

The French police were acting like Nazis, there were book burnings, arrests and racial laws. Paris newspapers were censored and carried only German news. Some boys at Louis Le Grand joined Nazi youth clubs and boasted that the Nazis were good for France. Jacques' school was closed for a month after a demonstration by university and lycee students. Twenty students were shot and killed.

It was freezing cold in his little room; Jacques felt his fingers stiffening and had to stop reading. The frightening events that were happening around him dominated his thoughts; something had to be done to arouse the conscience of the French people. The idea of forming a resistance group of young students took shape in his mind.

Knowing his friends as well as he did, Jacques was not surprised that Jean and Francois readily agreed and they began to organize a resistance group made up students from Louis le Grand and the university. In school the next say, they spoke with trusted classmates.

A few days later, ten boys crowded into Jacques' room, and the next week 52 boys showed up. The student resistance group called the "Volunteers of Liberty" became a reality.

From now on there was to be no turning back and no giving in to fear. Jacques warned the boys to say nothing about the meeting, even to their families. Gossip was dangerous and would give them away. No more than three boys would meet with one another at any one time. A Central Committee was formed to keep the students in touch with one another. Their task was to inform the French people about the brutality of Gestapo arrests, the persecutions and torture of captured resistance fighters and the arrests of Jewish people. News of the War was to be gathered by listening to forbidden radio broadcasts from England and Switzerland. The "Volunteers of Liberty" planned to write and circulate a secret paper that they called "Le Tigres". Before they could begin, more students had to be recruited.

Jacques was elected to the Central Committee and went to the first secret meeting with Francois. The meeting was held in an old apartment house in a working class section of the city, the old building was chosen because there were always people coming in and going out and the arrival of strangers was not likely to arouse suspicion. Jacques was to be responsible for interviewing everyone who wanted to become a "Volunteer". The other boys trusted his ability to judge people.

The "Volunteers" sent word out about the secret resistance group to the lycees and university. Students who wanted to join were watched for several days or sometimes weeks by one of the original 52 members. Those who were considered trustworthy were told "to visit the blind man."

Jacques conducted the interviews in his rooms. Two short rings and one long ring of the doorbell told him that a perspective volunteer had arrived. The rules were strict. No one was interviewed if he was not expected or did not appear within five minutes of the specified time. No one was given Jacques' name. Forced to rely on his instincts, Jacques knew he was not infallible and was constantly on guard. It was too easy to be trapped by an informer or spy. He planned the interviews carefully and discussed nothing of importance for the first 10 minutes. Sometimes he conducted the interview in the dark because he forgot to turn on the light.

Taking his time, Jacques listened intently to the words and the silences. Elaborate explanations and well-rehearsed speeches aroused his suspicions. He knew they covered lies and deceit. He also knew that anger was a difficult emotion to disguise. If Jacques considered a boy trustworthy, he gave his name to the Central Committee and he was admitted to the "Volunteers of Liberty". At first, only young students between 17 and 19 appeared, but after a few weeks, older students from the university began coming. Jacques interviewed 600 young men in less than a year

The Volunteers did not think of themselves as a professional group, they were simply young students eager to liberate their country from the terror of Nazism. They wrote, mimeographed and distributed their bulletin, "Le Tigres", to houses all over Paris. One boy watched the exits while the other went from floor to floor, carrying his shoes in his hands and slipping the paper under doors.

The French government no less than the German characterized the Resistance as a gang of terrorists. Denouncing them was seen as a civic duty, for which informers received money. Jacques and the other leaders were aware of the dangers; resistors who were caught were arrested and punished severely. It was also disappointing that so few of Jacques' classmates were willing to join the Volunteers, only 6 boys of the 90 enrolled in the elite classes at Louis Le Grand joined. In every class, there were 2 or 3 boys willing to report them to the police. Some of the
teachers were also Nazi collaborators and they had to be careful never to talk about their activities at school. There were many narrow escapes.

Surveys, discussions, choosing articles for the bulletin and frequent Central Committee meetings kept Jacques busy. Meetings were never held in the same place. Always by Francois or Jean, Jacques traveled on the routes set up for safety. Schoolwork occupied his daytime hours, but at 5 PM, Jacques became a resistance fighter and
sometimes did not return home until 11 PM.

Keeping up his grades while devoting so much time to the "Volunteers" took all his energy, but he succeeded and graduated from Louis Le Grand in the Spring of 1941. He enrolled at the University and planned to take the special exam to qualify for "Ecole Normale Superieur", the highest institution in the French educational system. The Vichy government and its Nazi racial laws, declaring students with disabilities to be ineligible, dashed his hopes Disappointed and angry, Jacques wanted to fight the ruling, but he knew that he would put the "Volunteers" in jeopardy by calling attention to himself, so he put his ambitions aside and decided not to appeal the ruling.

In 1943, the work of the "Volunteers of Liberty" caught the attention of the "Defense de la France"; an official Resistance group connected with Charles deGaulle and the Free French forces. The "Defense de la France" had more funds, its own print shop, trucks disguised as delivery wagons, an organized editorial board, a radio transmitter and a channel to the deGaulle government in London. The "Defense de la France" had everything the Volunteers lacked.

When Jacques was contacted by a leader of Defense de la France, he agreed to meet with him. Accompanied by Georges, they met Phillipe, the leader in the back room of a small restaurant. Jacques immediately liked the relaxed manner of the big man with the warm friendly voice, calm manner and keen sense of humor. Phillipe had solutions to difficult problems and talked of the advantages of merging the "Volunteers of Liberty" with the Defense de la France". Their main task would continue to be the distribution of a secret newspaper. "Le Tigres" was to become a real newspaper called "Defense de la France.

The "Volunteers" merged with the "Defense" and for the next six months, Jacques and Georges met with Philippe every day. They planned a complicated system of drop-offs, mailboxes and hidden communication and both Jacques and Georges became members of the executive committee.

As part of a major group, Jacques no longer felt alone or isolated, but he found the work to be harder and more demanding, One hundred thousand copies of "Defense de la France" a two page newspaper were to be printed and distributed all over France. Every article was carefully reviewed for its power to impress readers and make them aware that there was an active French resistance. The paper was filled with articles telling people of the brutal treatment and torture of arrested resistors, the slaughter of Jews in the death camps and appealing for
passive resistance to Nazi orders.

On February 16, 1942 the Nazi government issued the order, demanding that all young Frenchmen over 21 years be sent to Germany as forced labor. Thousands of young men were sent to Germany, the only exceptions were students and heads of families. The order strengthened the Resistance movement and the "Defense de la France" grew. Eighty young people, including Georges became professional underground operators. Francois was placed in charge of resistance in Brittany.

The members of the "Defense de la France" were young men and women who carried the secret to all parts of France at the risk of their lives. Georges and Jacques were responsible for the distribution of the newspaper in Paris. The two friends agreed that if one were arrested, the other would carry on the work.

The office where the newspaper was printed came under Gestapo suspicion and for three days, everyone who came out of the office was followed. The young people working with Jacques learned how to avoid being followed, they would go into a bakery and leave by the back door, board a subway train and exit at the next stop. They led the spies down false trails, while the equipment was packed up in small trucks with signs, "fragile" "meteorological" or "optical" equipment" were pasted on the outside of the trucks and a new print shop was prepared and the distribution of "Defense de la France" was resumed.

The government of Free France, established in Algiers, asked resistance groups to coordinate their efforts as much as possible. Jacques met with leaders of other groups including the famous writer, Albert Camus, who worked for the group called "Combat ". The work was dangerous; the students could be betrayed at any time. Still in charge
of recruitment, Jacques was taken by surprise a young man named Elio, who came to his home without prior notification.

The group was looking for someone to coordinate the distribution of the newspaper to the industrial and mining communities in the north and Elio, a native of the north was willing to give up his studies to devote himself full time to the resistance movement. Elio had good recommendations, but something about him aroused Jacques' suspicions. His heavy handshake and low voice lacked honesty and conviction and Jacques did not trust him. Phillipe said they could not afford to be too cautious and against his better judgment, Jacques reluctantly agreed and Elio joined "Defense de la France, " went to the city of Lille in the north and established a network for the distribution of the newspaper.

Thousands copies of "Defense de la France" were being distributed throughout France. Jacques and Georges were busy with distribution activities in Paris until the morning in July 1943 when two officers and four armed soldiers knocked on the door of the apartment in the Boulevard Port Royal. Heading straight for Jacques' rooms, they sent his Braille papers flying. Jacques worried that his parents would be arrested too. They knew of his activities and never did anything to discourage him. He felt relieved that he was the only one arrested.

At Gestapo headquarters, Jacques discovered that the Nazis had a record of every one of his activities from the day Elio joined "Defense de la France". When they took him to the Fresnes prison, his suspicions were confirmed. It was a mass betrayal; every one of his friends except Philippe had been arrested.

He was taken from Fresnes to Gestapo headquarters 38 times, he was threatened with death, beaten, and questioned from 7 o'clock in the morning to 7 o'clock, but he was resolute and determined not to give them any information. In July, he was sent to Buchenwald. Starved and sickly, Jacques tried to keep up his spirits and those of his friends. Knowing German and Italian, he even translated for other prisoners.

The United States Third Army liberated Buchenwald in April 1945. Jacques was one of thirty survivors of the 2,000 people who were arrested at the same time he was. He and Phillipe were the only leaders of the "Defense de la France" to survive the war. The newspaper of the "Defense de la France became the "France Soir", one of the most important daily newspapers in France.

Jacques returned to the university and his studies and his fight to be admitted to the Ecole Normale Superieur. Finally admitted to the elite school, graduated and took a teaching position in Paris. In the 1950's he moved to the United States and taught Literature at Western Reserve University and the University of Hawaii. He was tragically
killed in a tragic automobile accident when he was only 47 years of age.

I had the same thoughts. People are so conditioned to need to be told what to do that it may well be impossible to think and react independently towards a common collective goal.

Actually, I think it's a little worse than that, in that the Leaderless Acquiesence is here among us - that's why TRUTHERS have such a hard time, the society we have (engineered as it is) is already self-purging. Ask yourself why you agree with putting people in prison and you'll realise you'd willingly cheer on while a TRUTHER was torn limb from limb by five horses - so long as your 'swarm' knew its role.

I fear A LOT OF PEOPLE will have to die for a real awakening. The FREEDOM OF HUMANITY (ike the Eugenic subjugation of humanity) will be a routing of the species. Ah, the beautiful irony...

Just on the issue of leaderlessness...

People can and do cooperate. Get together with your buddies to build a deck, start a business or rob a bank: you're cooperating! We do it all the time, naturally... we get together to do shit of mutual benefit.

And that's the exact opposite of today's 'orchestrated' society. A true leader is persuasive, not coersive. Freedom rules!

This is an excellent post. The interesting aspect is that random uncoordinated acts of information transmission are virtually impossible to stifle.  People now through the use of anonymous internet, through personal printers, and DVD burners, can become 1 man duplicating stations for the truth.

Its a matter of getting everyone to warn everyone all the time, and the make the issues so public it is forced into the public limelight.

Very well said indeed. Once people start, they tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on, and so on, and it is like a 70's shampoo commercial. (Anyone who remembers that commercial should see this video)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgDxWNV4wWY

All jokes aside...Very well said barndoor!

Excellent video. However if we all lead, would that not continue to disputes and division among our ranks?

There is a point made early in the video that is, imo, critical to the success of our movement; it was during the segment on West Point...

They spoke of the predictive power of networks – intensive interest in changing old ways of thinking (because at Westpoint, they were still using the old paradigm for battle... now they see a "New kind of war" - it's ‘ urban’ now, and they're teaching students to use the 'power of network science' at all military academies.

They go on to show how this works ...
THIS SHOULD BE REQUIRED VIEWING for ALL OF US

Using the concept of 6 Degrees of Separation, they had one teacher at the chalkboard, with a diagram of nodes connected by lines. The message to the students was 'how to pick out people; how are they linked; how can we disrupt them'.  The question asked to the class was "which node needs to be removed to disrupt the network" -- the correct answer; the central node. (Translate: The Leader).  Because that node had the most connections. The whole notion of 'leaderless resistance' is to REMOVE their power to take us down by hitting the central 'node' in our network.

They tell us that the first time they used this approach (ok, that's bullshit, but continuing..) was when they used it to capture Saddam Hussein. The describe having used the 'social network structure' around Saddam to identify family, and supporters in his life (Think FACEBOOK, and MYSPACE here folks...).

That enabled them to 'watch' his nodes; listen to communications and based on that information they were able to pinpoint his location. They go on to state that "understanding and applying network science will revolutionize battlefield tactics...
"We’ll be able to predict behavior unlike anytime before"

This is EXACTLY what A_I has been telling us about - they are using our own 'fun and games' internet software tools (like the above social networking sites), as well as the nifty new spyware-dressed-up as artistic fun and games...
(see "Photosketch": http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=138783.msg835287#msg835287)
to build their Total Information Awareness database.
(See also this post by bigron: http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=138804.msg835298#msg835298)[/b]

That's the fascists' wet dream you're looking at above. This is their mission.

They will be able to do that thanks to the COMPLETE surveillance of our phones, internet communications, surveillance cameras, banking transactions, and personal connections to each other.

The only way for us to succeed is Leaderless Resistance; we must not depend on any one person to fight this war. We must all carry with us the ideals we share. No doubt there will be those in the movement who fall for the infighting psyops that will be initiated by those who seek to keep us enslaved. That's par for the course, and we see plenty of examples right here in the forum.

This quote by Bill Cooper:
“What is our common bond truly? FREEDOM.”

The closing lines of that video were the most inspiring to me...
they teach us how to approach this movement as things continue to ramp up,
the fascist tactics get more violent, and we the people are being driven
into their prisons for speaking out about the truth of what's happening.

I maintain that the only true salvation from any oppression or enslavement
is self-empowerment, knowledge, consciousness. This is true rebellion.

Don’t get caught up in the 87% of people who follow the leader.
People who think that they are rebels because they denounce authorities,
simply because it’s the latest fashion.

Don’t march the streets claiming that you are the enlightened one
because you read a book or saw a film that gave you a glimpse
into an uncommon knowledge.

Don’t scream phrases into a megaphone that you borrowed from another person’s research.
And don’t proclaim yourself an original thinker because you belong to a group
that represents an unpopular belief.  Those are all examples of the other side of the coin
of group think; leading a false rebellion.

False rebellion is dangerous because it gives the illusion that you are free and thinking for yourself.

A true rebellion, a true revolution, begins when you quit following
and start leading. And those who end up following you,
should be taught by you, to quit following you and start leading.

Withdraw Consent.

Global Security offers you a challenge.. help enslave the people for cash and prizes!!!

Detailed Information about GSC Competitions in 2009
http://www.globalsecuritychallenge.com/gsc_competitions.php#crowded

Currently Open Competitions:

1. Crowded Places Challenge 2009 - Now Accepting Applications

The 2nd annual Crowded Places Challenge aims to bring fresh thinking to the problem of protecting the general public from the threat of terrorism in crowded urban environments. At present, governments and industry are looking for more effective ways to respond to the huge challenges posed by securing crowded places.

To improve the ability to understand and model crowd behaviour, the Global Security Challenge, together with BAE Systems and the UK’s INSTINCT programme, have launched the Crowded Places Challenge to uncover the creative capabilities of innovators that may help in countering terrorism.

Examples of our areas of interest for understanding and modelling crowd behaviour include, but are not limited to: software models, video analytics, behavioural analysis and cultural research.

The winners of the 2nd international Crowded Places Challenge receive the following prizes and awards:
    * £10,000 GBP cash award for 1st Place
    * Mentorship by an industry leader (tbc)
    * Up to 5 of the most promising submissions may be invited to test their technology in the INSTINCT Technology

The winners of the competition will be awarded at a ceremony in London in November 2009.

1. Cloud Security Challenge - to be launched in fall 2009

As cloud computing is rapidly picking up traction with businesses, its inherent security risks are becoming more apparent. Corporate customers struggle with the open questions of how to protect access to the cloud, regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Governments and large enterprises, from around the world, are especially attracted to the benefits of the cloud or are thinking about creating their own mini-clouds, but are hesitant because of security and privacy risks. Thus, the GSC and its partners are launching the first Cloud Security Challenge competition to explorer radically new ideas and game-changing solutions from around the world in order to make cloud computing more secure.

[Update August '09: we are proud to announce that HP Labs agreed to sponsor this award with $10,000 for the winning idea. ]

2. Energy Storage Challenge - to be launched in winter 2009

Tackling Energy Innovation from a Defence Perspective - The global need is rising for replacing current fuel sources with greener technologies.  However, in the short term, there is an important need to find groundbreaking ways to better use traditional sources of energy, as the use of fossil fuels increases in the near future.

This challenge impacts not only on military strategies but also national security in general, as our dependencies on oil and gas increase. The defence sector has traditionally been an early adopter of breakthrough technologies due to its unique needs and ability to explore emerging innovations, even if they are not cost-competitive yet.

Our inaugural challenge will focus on energy storage - a particular concern to defence departments around the world.

The competition will open in November 2009.  The award will be circa. $10,000, sponsored by the GSC and its partners.

Update July 09: We‘ve received amazing support for our upcoming "Energy Storage Challenge" already and are happy to disclose that we are working with leaders from the following institutions who support us in making this Challenge a reality:

    * William Anderson, former Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics
    * Bart Markus, General Partner, Wellington Partners
    * Michael Gaul, Head of Defence and Security Economics Directorate, NATO
    * ...and other leaders from US Department of Energy, Sandia Labs, ETF and ONR.

Closed Competitions for 2009: (We have a winner!!!)

1. Global Security Challenge Competition 2009: Most Promising Security Idea

This category has now closed for 2009.

We recognize that there are many potentially disruptive innovations that have yet to reach commercialization. Through the Most Promising Security Idea category, the GSC encourages innovators to continue to pursue their ideas and efforts. The award is designed to support and promote researchers, infant companies (with no revenue), and any other inventors who just have an idea for a security solution.
...
Examples of our areas of interest are (but are not limited to): biometrics, detection sensors, cyber security, video surveillance, RFID, personnel protection, encryption software, data-mining, biotechnologies, and explosive trace detection.

2. Global Security Challenge Competition 2009: Best Security SME Category

This category has now closed for 2009.

Young security companies face singular challenges in their drive to succeed in the complex security technology industry.  Through the Best Security SME category, the GSC seeks to provide innovative companies with additional support to be put towards development and commercialization.

Targeted Technologies: We seek to uncover the creative capabilities of innovators in universities and infant companies that apply to public security needs. This includes software or hardware solutions that help (a) protect people, critical infrastructure, facilities and data/electronic systems against terrorist or other criminal attacks and natural disasters or (b) help governments, businesses and communities defend against, cope with or recover from such incidents.

3. Global Security Challenge Competition 2009: Most Promising Security Start-Up Category
1. Global Security Challenge Competition 2009: Most Promising Security Idea Category

This category has now closed for 2009.

Young security companies face singular challenges in their drive to succeed in the complex security technology industry.  Through the Most Promising Security Start-Up category, the GSC seeks to provide innovative companies with additional support to be put towards development and commercialization.

4. Cyber Security Challenge 2009

This competition has now closed for 2009.

Cyber security has become the new frontier in the security and defence world.

Therefore, we seek the world's most creative innovators and start-ups to help responding to these mounting challenges in cyber security.  We recognize that many disruptive innovations are not ready for mass commercialization and we encourage researchers and infant companies to apply for this year's Cyber Security Challenge.  The judging for this award will focus mainly on the disruptive potential of the technology, focusing less on the idea's maturity.
BAE Systems is sponsoring the Cyber Security Challenge through its Investment in Innovation team:

"Cyber Security is a key area for us to further invest in both because of the wide range of issues currently faced and the breadth of work being done in the space.  We seek to uncover the creative capabilities of innovators in universities and SMEs that apply to information assurance and cyber security needs."
Targeted Technologies: data protection, user authentication, penetration testing, network protection, spam-prevention, anti-malware, identification of data theft, detection of dormant threats on corporate servers, tackling of identity theft on the internet and defences for virtualised computing resources. The winners of this year's Cyber Security Challenge will receive:

    * £5,000 GBP cash award for the 1st place winner, sponsored by BAE Systems
    * £4,000 GBP cash award to be split among the two runner-ups, sponsored by BAE Systems
    * Mentorship by Nick Kingsbury (Venture Capitalist, former partner at 3i)

[Update August 2009: the winner of the inaugural Cyber Security Challenge is Ksplice from MA, USA]

Excellent video. However if we all lead, would that not continue to disputes and division among our ranks?

They meant that we all lead only ourselves independently.  A great concept but a tall order to say the least.  I loved the point made that most free people tend to enslave themselves - it is so true.

That is the very point that many 'free' people look up to a leader and look to someone whose directions we will follow.  It is a neglect of personal responsibility IMO.  All truly free people are aware of the personal authority and responsibility of being free.  Those who want or insist on 'reporting to' someone (leader) will end up compromising those who are independent and their leader.  The video clearly illustrates the need for all to be truly independent.  If we all know the Constitution and abide by it then we will not need a leaderperson.

You are right, that it is a tall order.  Not many have personal accountability.

I feel this may prove relevant

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMWz3G_gPhU

Combined with this;

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/facebook.com

the idea seems rather alarming. I had often wondered how our military might actually fight against a guerrilla force. How can you attack something that has no bases and no supply lines? No conventional army, no nation and no boarders that would be able to strike at you and your infrastructure at will? As a nation state you're put on the back foot and it's basically a losing fight. Because you can't attack anything there is no victory to be had. Unless you can find part of a cell and destroy it. Otherwise you're the one that has supply lines, bases, populace that you have to protect a set budget to operate on. You will always lose unless you win (destroy a cells leader) while a guerrilla army will always win unless they lose because any attack they can launch will have an effect on the nation state and they could literally attack anywhere at any time.

We see in Pakistan they'll use a drone to take out a whole family. Whats to say they won't use facebook, myspace and google streetview to do the same to us?

any government can find out (with high likelihood) where any person is at time t dependingn on all sorts of things; cash cards and iphones and electrical activity and tickets and.....   you know, if they have a TARGET LIST to activate, there'd be no escaping .... well, unless you left your phone at home or you missed the plane you should have taken or....

there's always an escape but it's arbitrary and that's no good for normal humans ...

we should ALL, all of us, be able to DISAPPEAR for a weekend or a lifetime IF WE f**kING WANT. It's not the role of government to be able to mini-nuke me or my friends or my countrymen from orbit.

Nope!

Agreed.

Also would like to add a point to the guerilla warfare bit. The guerillas nearly always win, they are on their own turf, with the organized army not knowing who is and isn't a member. However, I feel that if it comes down to it, it might reach a black white situation. Not racial, I mean like if your not a member of the NWO police state force, your against it. There can be no middle man. (perhaps women and children)

Yeah, guerillas seem to be quite effective over time.  Reminds me of an Apocalypse Now quote: "Charlie didn't get much USO. He was dug in too deep or moving too fast. His idea of great R&R was cold rice and a little rat meat. He had only two ways home: death, or victory."

Good point Luckee1 -- we should also not confuse 'teachers' with 'leaders'. There are many teachers who we can learn from; people here who have specific knowledge to share. It is a natural inclination to view them as leaders - but this is not advisable. They will tell you themselves that they are not 'leading' - you've heard Alex say this many times. Personal accvntability is needed.. we will all become teachers in a leaderless resistance.

Freedom, Liberty & death to the NWO

« Reply #29 on: October 12, 2009, 10:45:56 AM »

It is hard to break the back of any resistance movement (whether physical or idealistic) if there is no prominent figurehead that the removal of would effectively demoralize said organization enough as to render it ineffective.

With centralization comes a single great strength and an proportionately equal liability. History has taught that nothing endures forever for mans greed and want of power eventually become the very means of its own destruction.

The war on terror has not been focused on any single one person as much has it that the ideal where even your neighbor may be a terrorist becomes an accepted norm of daily life, it has been the enemies ability to alter our perception(s) to fit their agenda that truly lies at the heart of their strength, it is this we must effectively counter or perish.

EVERY INDIVIDUAL is both a leader and a teacher to someone that they know it is vitally important that you reach each person in a manner that interests them where they live ( what they are interested in ), and while doing so set up a network of persons and materials loosely interconnected so if one goes down the remaining may continue.

Guerrilla type tactics and "cell" type organizations will remain the most effective tool we have against tyranny.

Subsequent appeals by the government saw the original rulings overturned on legal, not factual, grounds. Legal actions in the case continue to this day. Hamilton told FTW that none of the uses described above had anything to do with any licensing agreements for the software’s use to track terrorists, intelligence matters or worldwide financial transactions. The paper tracking of the refinements in Promis after the legal dispute erupted between INSLAW and the Reagan administration, verifies that at least one version of Promis was given to Martin Marietta, now Lockheed-Martin, which is now the nation’s second largest defense contractor. Until late 2000, Lynne Cheney, the wife of Vice President Dick Cheney sat on Lockheed’s board of directors. Research conducted by many investigative journalists has indicated that Promis has spread widely throughout the defense contractor network. FTW has received multiple reports of Promis use by companies and institutions like DynCorp, Raytheon, Boeing, SAIC and the Harvard Endowment as well as by government agencies such as the Financial Criminal Enforcement Network (FINCEN) and the U.S. Treasury.

Here’s how powerful the software is.

Approximately two weeks after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the History Channel aired a documentary entitled “The History of Terrorism.” In that documentary, a law enforcement officer described some of the methods used to track terrorist movements. He stated that “computers” were able to track such things as credit card purchases, entry and exits visas, telephone and utility usage etc. It was implied that these diverse data base files could be integrated into one unified table. He gave an example that through the use of such a system it would be possible to determine that if a suspected terrorist entered the country and was going to hide out, that by monitoring the water and electrical consumption of all possible suspects in a given cell, it would be possible to determine where the terrorist was hiding out by seeing whose utility use increased. Conversely, it would be possible to determine if a terrorist was on the move if his utility consumption declined or his local shopping patterns were interrupted. Aren’t those “club” cards from your supermarket handy?

This is but the barest glimpse of what Promis can do. Mated with artificial intelligence it is capable of analyzing not only an individual’s, but also a community’s entire life, in real time. It is also capable of issuing warnings when irregularities appear and of predicting future movements based upon past behavior.

In the financial arena Promis is even more formidable. Not only is it capable of predicting movements in financial markets and tracking trades in real time. It has been reported, on a number of occasions, to have been used, via the “back door” to enter secret bank accounts, including accounts in Switzerland and then remove the money in those accounts without being traced. Court documents filed in the various INSLAW trials include documentation of this ability as well as affidavits and declarations from Israeli intelligence officers and assets.

[23] One of the major branches of the recent revolution in computer programming is called Network theory. It was the basis of PROMIS software and it now constitutes a vast research discipline of its own, whose primary organization is the International Network for Social Network Analysis: http://www.sfu.ca/~insna/. Applications include Namebase software(http://www.namebase.org/), terrorist tracking(http://www.sfu.ca/~insna/INSNA/Hot/terrorist.htm), and the mapping of complex webs of economic and political influence – “social capital” – through informal ties(http://www.sfu.ca/~insna/INSNA/Hot/soc_cap.htm).

THE SMALL WORLD PROBLEM

'Social structure becomes actually visible in an anthill; the movements and contacts one sees are not random but patterned. We should also be able to see structure in the life of an American community if we had a sufficiently remote vantage point, a point from which persons would appear to be small moving dots... We should see that these dots do not randomly approach one another, that some are usually together, some meet often, some never... If one could get far enough away from it, human life would become pure pattern.'
-- Roger Brown, INSNA website.

SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION

Many people first heard of this idea from the movie (based on the Broadway play by John Guare) of this name. But the original concept came from work in the 1960s by Stanley Milgram (yes, the 'electric shock research' guy!) on what's called the small world problem': how long a chain of people would it take to deliver a message from anyone in the world to any other person, using only the 'friends of friends'? Milgram found that there was a chain of only about 5.5 people (6 people if the 'sender' and 'receiver' are of different races) between any 2 people in the world.

ANOTHER SIX DEGREES OR SO

There's a party game called 'The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon'. The object of the game is to determine, for any actor, how many 'Bacon degrees' (that is, how many links through co-stars in films they've been in) it takes to reach Kevin Bacon himself. For example, Tom Hanks is 'one Bacon degree'(they were in 'Apollo 13' together), while Mick Jagger is 'three Bacon degrees' away (anybody see Jagger's Australian Western?) The object of the game is to connect the entire 'Hollywood social system' via 'Bacon degrees'. (The most 'Bacon degrees' anyone's found is eight so far). There is also now a commercial site called "Six Degrees" that claims to link you with all your own personal network of contacts (assuming they sign up!)

SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS CLAIMS THAT

Any individual person (point) is informally connected via family, friendship, occupation, etc. (ties) to other people through which the structure of any particular social system can be identified (networks). This social system can be a neighborhood, a village, a bowling team or any other (informal) group of people. A formal group (such as a company bureaucracy) can be studied this way, using the informal connections that people use to 'get things done around here.' Here's a story from CIO Magazine about a UCLA management professor who provides social network software and consulting services to help companies understand how they really work internally.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF DATA

Network data are not attributional but relational variables. Attributes are the intrinsic (and measurable) characteristics of individual people, objects or events. Relations are the linkages between individuals, organizations, nations. Relational variables can be:

transaction relations (e.g., who gives gifts to whom)

communication relations (e.g., who talks to whom)

boundary penetration relations (e.g., who's on whose board of directors)

instrumental relations (e.g., who asks whom for expert advice)

sentiment relations (e.g., friendship cliques in high school)

power relations (e.g., who follows whom in informal group)

kinship relations (e.g., who's related to whom)

THE TIES THAT BIND

Network researchers are particularly interested in:

durability (how long ties last)

reciprocity (whether ties look identical from either end)

intensity (whether ties are 'weak' or 'strong')

density (how many potential ties in a network actually exist)

reachability (how many ties it takes to go from one 'end'of a network to the opposite 'end')

centrality (whether a network has a 'center' point or points)

MORE ABOUT MULTIPLEX

One of the major research questions in social network analysis is the 'multiplexity of network ties.'

Each 'tie' between two people can be made of several different 'strands':

they might go to the same school
AND be third cousins
AND be on the same softball team
AND hardly know anything about each other.

Alternatively, two other people might have those exact same connections and be 'best friends'. So, 'ties' can be operationalized with many different dimensions depending on the researcher's interests (just like regular variables!)

STRUCTURAL HOLES

Another area of growing interest has been popularized by well-known researcher Ronald Burt: 'structural holes' (gaps in and between networks and what they may mean.)

The analysis of industry networks is becoming particularly popular, focusing on possible areas of cooperation and/or competition among firms.

FROM SOCIOMETRY...

Originally called 'sociometry', it started with Jacob Moreno's 1934 book 'Who Shall Survive?', which developed a 'geometry of interpersonal relationships' by mapping people's friendship choices as a way of testing their psychological well-being.

This 'geometry' was formalized by Cartwright and Harary using 'graph theory' during the 1950s with the idea of representing groups of people as collections of points connected by:

'signed' (+ means 'likes' and - means 'dislikes')

'directed' (arrow from person A to person B and vice-versa)

ties (lines) which form a network structure.

TO SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS

'Sociometry' evolved into 'social network analysis' during the 1960s due to the influence of Harrison White at Harvard and his use of set theory to develop algebraic models of kinship groups in anthropology. He also used multidimensional scaling techniques to represent 'social distance' in social network space. Famous examples of this are Lee's 1969 article, 'The Search for an Abortionist', in which she found that pregnant women had to approach an average of 5.8 people in order to find information about obtaining a (then-illegal) abortion, and Granovetter's 1973 article, 'The Strength of Weak Ties', in which he discovered that jobseekers found more new jobs by asking distant acquaintances (but not strangers) rather than close friends. Currently, social network analysis is very hot in computer-mediated communications environments, as it's an excellent way to trace the transfer of information among participants.

WHAT ARE THE TECHNIQUES

Researchers study social networks through:

observation

interviews

surveys

'trace analysis' (of citations, letters, e-mail, or other written communications)

Researchers describe social networks through:

'sociograms' (visual displays of networks)

'block-modelling' (using a data matrix to show the units of analysis and their connections and
IF SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS IS THE ANSWER, WHAT IS THE QUESTION?

Social network analysis can be either:

'micro'(focusing on the individual and his/her network)
'macro' (focusing on the network(s) and its members).
It has been used to study:

diffusion of innovation

spread of epidemics

scholarly citations

interlocking corporate directorates

hyperlinks among Web sites

criminal conspiracies...

in short, anything that may involve 'exchange relationships' among people or organizations

This is the rationale behind the development of the PROMIS software (and it's next generation PTech). It's all about predicting human behavior; and the social networking sites were subsequently developed as live laboratories for observation and 'training' the AI software to 'learn' how to predict human behavior. We are the ants in the hill. If you look at Roger Brown's quote above, you will see that they have developed this software to eliminate randomness in human behavior - they have a vantage point (satellite distance) that ensures their predictions are extremely high probability patterns, not subject to randomness.  This is why Ptech software, via use of social networking sites, is a powerful control tool for the globalists.
