was about to go to sleep this mornin was flippin thru the cable news to see if they had any police state footage from yesterday of course no but apparently late last night the us was givven a secret document stating that iran had been lying about how many nuclear facilitys they had. obama plans to adress us at 830 so now i cant go to bed this may be what isreal needs to be justified to go to war with iran. also notice its us france and UK but no russia and china these are mighty big accusations to make without already having support of china and russia and this could be real bad if they go with iran after obama makes this speech.

This is the opening round in the attack on Iran. Israel will attack, with this as their rationale. God help the Iranian people.

i thought under the npt, they only had to inform the iaea 90 days before nuclear material was introduced to a site. so afaik they havent done anything wrong, and isnt it still under construction? seems to me that the israelis have managed to persuade the usa to attack iran in the spring and the propaganda machine is just starting up to justify an attack.

Leaders accuse Iran of secret program PITTSBURGH — President Barack Obama is preparing to accuse Iran of setting up a second site to create nuclear materials and of hiding the underground facility from the international community, a White House official said. In a late addition to his schedule, Obama, who is in Pittsburgh for a meeting of the G-20 economic summit, set a press statement on the Iran matter for 8:30 this morning. As Obama levels the nuclear charges at Iran today he is expected to be flanked by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The leaders are expected to call on Iran to open the facility to inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Western intelligence services have known about the secret facility for years but kept quiet about it, even as the controversy built over Iran's nuclear ambitions, the New York Times reported. On Monday, Iran sent a letter disclosing a new "pilot plant" to the IAEA, several news agencies reported. Experts suspect that Iran made the disclosure after learning that Western governments had discovered the existence underground plant. The maneuvering over the new facility came just days before the U.S. and five other nations are set to open talks with Iran over its nuclear program, which Iranian officials claim is peaceful. The White House would clearly hope the disclosure of the secret facility would back up Western claims that Iran is trying to build a bomb in secret. The United States will take part in a meeting of diplomats with Iran on October 1 – a follow through to Obama’s pledge to meet with the Iranians after years when President George W. Bush would not. But Russia and China have long blocked sanctions or other punitive measures against Iran – one of their biggest business partners. The U.S. was cheered this week at the United Nations when Russian President Dmitri Medvedev sounded open to sanctions for the first time – but the Chinese are still holding out against them. * News * World news * Iran
Iran admits secret underground nuclear plant
Tehran forced to reveal hidden uranium enrichment plant after discovery by western intelligence Live blog: Follow reaction to Iran's revelation
Tensions over Iran's suspect nuclear programme soared today when Tehran belatedly admitted the existence of a new, secret uranium enrichment plant which it has kept hidden from UN inspectors, bringing the long crisis over the country's nuclear programme to a head.
Iran sent a letter to Mohamed ElBaradei, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Monday, saying it had established a second pilot uranium enrichment plant, parallel to the one monitored by the IAEA in Natanz.
But western officials said the letter, sent Monday, was only dispatched after Iran discovered that western intelligence had already learned of the existence of the plant.
President Barack Obama, flanked by the British prime minister, Gordon Brown, and the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, is expected to deliver an ultimatum to Iran on the fringes of the G20 summit in Pittsburgh later today after the existence of the second plant became public earlier this morning. The leaders are expected to demand that Iran open the new site to IAEA inspectors.
The showdown comes amid calls for swingeing new sanctions against Tehran, and ahead of critical talks next week involving the Islamic republic and the six world powers trying to co-ordinate a response to its growing nuclear ambitions: the US, China, Russia, France, Britain and Germany. France immediately responded to news of the second plant by calling it a "serious violation" of UN Security Council resolutions. The late admission to the IAEA is unlikely to spare Iran from immediate demands from the international community to show IAEA inspectors the secret plant, and to halt all uranium enrichment.
According to US officials, the secret site is built inside a mountain near the ancient city of Qom, one of the holiest Shia cities in the Middle East. IAEA officials said the site was under construction and added that Iran had said that no nuclear material had yet been introduced into the centrifuges used to enrich uranium.
IAEA spokesman Marc Vidricaire confirmed the receipt of the letter and said the agency had been informed "that a new pilot fuel enrichment plant is under construction". The letter said that the plant would not enrich uranium beyond the 5% level suitable for civilian energy production. That would be substantially below the threshold of 90% or more needed for a weapon.
Iran told the agency "that no nuclear material has been introduced into the facility", he said. "In response, the IAEA has requested Iran to provide specific information and access to the facility as soon as possible."
According to Reuters, an Iranian news agency quoting an "informed source" said the second plant was similar to Iran's first facility near Natanz.
"Reports by some foreign news agencies that Iran has launched its second enrichment centre are correct and Iran has informed the [UN nuclear watchdog] about this," the ISNA news agency quoted its source as saying. "The second enrichment centre is similar to the enrichment installations at Natanz."
According to the New York Times , US officials have been tracking the covert project for years. Obama decided to go public after Iran discovered that western intelligence agencies had breached the secrecy surrounding the project.
According to the newspaper the facility is not complete. American officials said they believe it was designed to hold about 3,000 centrifuges, the machines that enrich uranium for nuclear power plants and potentially for bombs.

I hope you're right. It would be the ultimate stupid bs move... not to mention the bloodshed. I'm not sure I even understand the war-mongering anymore. Control of oil shipping out of Iran to China? They can accomplish that (are in the process of accomplishing that) by occupying Pakistan. Ok. Check. Zardari is a complete pawn of the NWO...what else? Iran can't ship over a pipeline; they have to use the sea routes, which means they are controlled by the US/UK. If they do attack Iran, it will be a war based on pre-crime (all the rage with Obama lately)... so a first. They're not suggesting Iran has WMD's.. they're suggesting that they MAY SOMEDAY have WMD's. It's the twilight zone.
