Mayor Swears In Out-Of-Town G-20 Officers

Updated: 11:21 pm EDT September 23, 2009

PITTSBURGH -- On Wednesday night, Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl swore in 1,000 out-of-town police officers at Soldiers and Sailors Hall in Oakland.

The officers will be trained in local laws and ordinances and become part of the 4,000 G-20 police force.
The mayor was asked how he thought officers handled the Greenpeace protest on Wednesday. The group climbed to the top of the West End Bridge to unfurl a banner.

Ravenstahl said, "I thought the event was very well handled. It was an example of peaceful protest in my mind. Even those arrested commented on how professional, respectful they were. That's good news."

They've been suckered into the climate change scam, and now they're protesting against the very people who are behind the CO2 climate change agenda.

Don't these people realize who they're in bed with?

Like:

The World Bank

The International Monetary Fund

World Trade Organization

David De Rothschild

Rothschild Bank

Barlcays Bank

JP Morgan Chase (checkout JPMorganClimateCare.com for an example of profiting from the climate change scam)

David Rockefeller

Exxon/Mobil

Dupont

General Electric

Jeroen van der Veer, Chief Executive of Royal Dutch Shell

George W. Bush

I agree, the global warming is a scam distributed through Al Gore, however theres no harm in trying to make the world a little less dirty.

I take it your a Green Peace believer. Global Warming I don't believe exists however there is massive amounts of pollution and destruction to the ecosystem due to the corporations. The fact that the protesters pay money is their own choice (soon not to be) and there are other products that are made from reliable organic and non-government regulations.

While I agree with you, I don't think that's really the important aspect of this case.  Even those that believe in the current theory of Climate Change should be able to protest, or support protesters, especially while on private property (for which they have permission to do those things on).

There is no "gray" when it comes to what is good or evil, it is always black and white.  People have the potential to be as evil as Hitler, or as good as Gandhi or MLK Jr.  However, most people are more like zebras.

Totally agree, its not the fact of what they are protesting (even if it is false), but their right to protest on private property. Yeah, definitly a distinct point in the G20 conversation.
