Exclusive: 27-Year CIA Vet says Obama May be Afraid of the CIA ... For Good Reason...
http://www.bradblog.com/?p=7408
By Brad Friedman on 9/11/2009 3:00PM

Alluding to the assassination of JFK, long-time high-level CIA analyst says Panetta and the President 'afraid of these guys because these guys have a whole lot to lose if justice takes its course'...

During my interview last night with 27-year CIA analyst Ray McGovern on the Mike Malloy Show (which I've been guest hosting all this week), the man who used to personally deliver the CIA's Presidential Daily Briefings to George Bush Sr., among other Presidents, offered an extraordinarily chilling thought --- particularly coming from someone with his background.

In a conversation at the end of the hour (audio and transcript below), as I was trying to pin him down for an opinion on whether or not he felt it was appropriate for CIA Director Leon Panetta to have reportedly attempted to block a lawful investigation into torture and other war crimes committed by the CIA, McGovern alluded to a book about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and noted he felt it likely that both Panetta and President Obama may have reason to fear certain elements of the CIA.

"Let me just leave you with this thought," he said, "and that is that I think Panetta, and to a degree President Obama, are afraid --- I never thought I'd hear myself saying this --- I think they're afraid of the CIA."...

McGovern went on to note "the stakes are very high here," in relation to Attorney General Eric Holder's recently announced investigation of the CIA now under the direction of Panetta. "His main advisers and his senior staff are liable for prosecution for war crimes. The War Crimes statute includes very severe penalties, including capitol punishment for those who, if under their custody, detainees die. And we know that at least a hundred have, so this is big stakes here."

He then recommended James W. Douglass' new book, JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters.

"He makes a very very persuasive case that it was President Kennedy's, um, the animosity that built up between him and the CIA after the Bay of Pigs, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, because he was reaching out to the Russians and so forth and so on. It's a very well-researched book and his conclusion is very alarming," the long-time CIA veteran noted in what turned out to be a chilling end to our interview in which he described "two CIAs".

One, he says, was created by President Truman to "give him the straight scoop without any fear or favor. And then its covert action arm, which really doesn't believe --- which doesn't belong in this agency." McGovern referred to that CIA "advisedly" as the President's "own personal gestapo" which acts without oversight by the Congressional committees once tasked to do so.

"And so if you're asking why Obama and Panetta are going very very kid-glove-ish with the CIA, I think part of the reason, or the explanation is they're afraid of these guys because these guys have a whole lot to lose if justice takes its course."

"So, it's pretty scary. Yes, it is," he concluded.

• The complete audio archive of the entire interview (appx. 37 mins.) can be download here or heard online here...

• The final few minutes (appx. 6 mins) containing the conversation described above, as transcribed below, can be heard here...

The transcript of the above-described 9/10/09 conversation between Brad Friedman and 27-year CIA analyst Ray McGovern on the Mike Malloy Show, follows below...
BRAD FRIEDMAN: Was it appropriate, in your opinion, for Panetta to try to block this lawful investigation into torture by Eric Holder's investigation. Is that the appropriate thing for a CIA Director to do?

RAY MCGOVERN: Well, you and I know that it's not appropriate if he's Director. If he sees his role as the agency's lawyer --- which apparently he does --- then there's nothing unlawful about him pleading their special causes. The stakes are very high here. His main advisers and his senior staff are liable for prosecution for war crimes. The War Crimes statute includes very severe penalties, including capitol punishment...

BF: Yeah...

RM: ... for those who, if under their custody, detainees die. And we know that at least a hundred have, so this is big stakes here.

And let me just leave you with this thought, and that is that I think Panetta, and to a degree President Obama, are afraid --- I never thought I'd hear myself saying this --- I think they're afraid of the CIA.

And you look in history...look to the incredible book written recently by Jim Douglass, JFK and the Unspeakable. He makes a very very persuasive case that it was President Kennedy's, um, the animosity that built up between him and the CIA after the Bay of Pigs, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, because he was reaching out to the Russians and so forth and so on. It's a very well-researched book and his conclusion is very alarming.

And so if you're asking why Obama and Panetta are going very very kid-glove-ish, with the CIA, I think part of the reason, or the explanation is they're afraid of these guys because these guys have a whole lot to lose if justice takes its course. And that's why I think Attorney General Holder is to be applauded.

I'm really just delighted to have somebody from The Bronx, where I grew up, try to do something to wipe out the blot that Colin Powell has put on The Bronx.

BF: Even though its a narrow investigation, you still applaud it. But Ray McGovern, 27-year CIA analyst, you're saying that there is reason to be concerned about the CIA --- that Barack Obama should be concerned.

Having been there 27 years, I guess you know what you're talking about. Uh...but that's a chilling thought I gotta say, Ray.

RM: Well, read the book. James Douglass, JFK and the Unspeakable. Uh, Brad, as you probably know, there are two CIAs. Okay? The one that was set up by Truman to give him the straight scoop without any fear or favor. And then its covert action arm, which really doesn't believe --- which doesn't belong in this agency --- but is the one that is entitled, so to speak, by one sentence in the National Security Act of 1947 which says 'the Director of Central Intelligence shall perform such other functions and duties as the President shall direct.'

That gives the President the ability to use the CIA as his own personal gestapo --- and I use the word advisedly --- the only check on that are what used to be called the oversight committees of Congress, now they're called the overlooked committees of the Congress...

BF: Indeed.

RM: So it's pretty scary. Yes, it is.

‘Leading architect’ of Bush surveillance quietly appointed to declassification board
http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/09/11/leading-architect-of-bush-surveillance-quietly-appointed-to-declassification-board/
By John Byrne Published: September 11, 2009

The man who helped oversee President George W. Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program now has a new job: a membership on the Public Interest Declassification Board.

Former Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden, who led the National Security Agency under President Bush from 1999 to 2005 and the Central Intelligence Agency from 2006 until President Barack Obama’s inauguration, was appointed during the Labor Day recess by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

The news was announced in the Congressional Record Sept. 8 and discovered yesterday by Secrecy News.

Hayden’s appointment may come as a surprise to critics of Bush-era secrecy. The onetime general isn’t known as an advocate of transparency — in fact, Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program was one of the administration’s most guarded secrets. Moreover, he’s been a critic of President Obama’s decision to release CIA and Justice Department memos, particularly those that detailed the agency’s policies on torture.

“If one were searching for an individual to represent the public interest in promoting declassification of government records, the first name that came to mind would probably not be Michael V. Hayden, the former director of the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency,” Secrecy News’ Stephen Aftergood wrote Thursday.

“When the late Senator Daniel P. Moynihan conceived of a Public Interest Declassification Board a decade ago, he would not have imagined that the national security classification system might be employed by a present-day U.S. Administration to help circumvent laws against warrantless surveillance or torture,” Aftergood continued. “And yet here we are.”

McConnell, in an email to the Washington Post, said “The country is fortunate that Gen. Michael Hayden has agreed to serve as a member” and that “his long history of service as an intelligence professional makes him ideally suited for balancing the interests of secrecy and disclosure in protecting our national security.”

Hayden wasn’t simply the administrator of Bush’s wiretapping program: he was a self-proclaimed “leading architect.”

During his confirmation hearing in 2006, Hayden said he was a leading architect of the NSA program monitoring Americans’ phone calls and emails without obtaining court approval, and defended the agency’s collection of communications records on tens of millions of Americans.

The Classification Board, while having no direct jurisdiction, is developing new classification guidelines for the executive branch. Obama National Security Adviser James Jones plans a substantial revision of classification directives, which saw significant dilution under President Bush.

Declassification proponent? Not so much, says the ACLU.

“To this day, the NSA continues to conceal virtually all information about the warrantless wiretapping program,” Jameel Jaffer, director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s National Security Project, has said. “As CIA director, General Hayden claimed that destruction of waterboarding tapes was ‘in line with the law.’ “

From a comment from the original story...

... Ernest A. Canning said on 9/11/2009 @ 5:20 pm PT...

Brad, sorry for the length, but it's necessary.

While you were on vacation I posted "On Conspiracy Theories" in which I quoted the sworn testimony provided by Marita Lorenz, Fidel Castro's former girlfriend who was recruited into the CIA by Watergate burglar Frank Sturgis.

Lorenz's deposition was taken by Mark Lane in Hunt vs. Liberty Lobby a libel action brought in U.S. District Court against former CIA officer Victor Marchetti and his publisher over a Marchetti article linking Hunt to the JFK assassination.

Lorenz testified that she, along with Frank Sturgis, Jack Patrick Hemming, Orlando Bosch and Alexander Rorke, Jr. traveled by way of a two-car caravan from Miami to Dallas in November 1963. One of the two cars was loaded with weapons.

Shortly after Lorenz and Sturgis arrived at a Dallas motel on November 21, 1963, Hunt showed up and handed an envelope filled with cash to Sturgis. Hunt remained for about forty-five minutes. Within an hour of Hunt’s departure another individual arrived at their motel room, Jack Ruby!

Lorenz, who had not been provided with the identity of the target of their operation, only knew that the operation was “big” and that she was to act as a decoy. Having second thoughts, she persuaded Sturgis to take her to the airport. She flew back to Miami.

Hunt’s lawyer, Edward Dunne, concerned with the impact this testimony would have upon his client’s contention that he was not in Dallas on November 22, 1963, did not know when to leave well enough alone. He specifically asked Lorenz whether she later spoke with Sturgis about the assassination. Sturgis had, telling her that she missed “the really big one.”

We killed the President that day. You could have been a part of it --- you know, part of history. You should have stayed. It was safe. Everything was covered in advance. No arrests, no real newspaper investigation. It was all covered, very professional.

A federal jury entered a verdict for Marchetti & Liberty Lobby. Although the jury foreperson explained they were convinced the CIA killed JFK and that Hunt was a part of it to a Miami reporter from a TV station owned by the Washington Post, her remarks went unreported in the corporate media.

Hunt, whose credibility was demolished on cross-examination, would later provide a death bed confession.

Lane, in Plausible Denial provides an assessment that is substantially similar to that offered by James Douglass.

Lane contends the CIA took out JFK because JFK, in the wake of the Bay of Pigs disaster, had planned to dismantle the CIA following an expected 1964 electoral victory and had issued National Security Action memorandum 263 on Oct. 2, 1963 containing a blueprint for a total withdrawal from Vietnam.

Lane asserts his view on Kennedy’s intent to dismantle the CIA was confirmed by Col. L. Fletcher Prouty, the Joint Chief’s head of special operations 1955-1963 and is supported by JFK’s firing of Allen Dulles the Director of Central Intelligence, Deputy Director Charles Cabell and Richard Bissell, Deputy Director of Plans, and by the issuance of a National Security Action memorandum which would have eliminated the CIA’s ability to initiate operations which required anything beyond the use of handguns.

Lane presents evidence that the CIA had successfully subverted both the Warren Commission proceedings and the subsequent investigation of both the Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. assassinations by the House Select Committee on Assassinations.

The CIA cover-up was facilitated by its former director, Allen Dulles, who had been fired by President Kennedy only to be appointed as a key member of the Warren Commission by President Johnson.

The FBI’s man inside the Commission, according to Lane, was Gerald Ford, who illegally passed on top secret information to Hoover’s assistant, Cartha DeLoach, noting that FBI assistance was needed to bring two dissenting Commission members to the FBI’s view that the shots that killed JFK had been fired from the sixth floor window of the Texas School Book Depository.

Lane's account is supported by none other than H.R. Haldeman in The Ends of Power.

Seeking the CIA’s protection from the escalating Watergate scandal, Nixon dispatched Haldeman to meet with Richard Helms. When he met with the usual CIA stonewalling, Haldeman told Helms that the “President asked me to tell you this entire affair may be connected to the Bay of Pigs….”

Helms, according to Haldeman, came unglued, gripping the arms of his chair and shouting that there was no connection. Haldeman, initially perplexed by Helms’s overreaction, observed: “It seems that in all those Nixon references to the Bay of Pigs he was referring to the Kennedy assassination.”

Haldeman went on to note that “after Kennedy was killed, the CIA launched a fantastic cover-up” and that “The CIA literally erased any connection between Kennedy’s assassination and the CIA.”

P.S. Orlando Bosch, identified by Lorenz, has been linked to the Contra supply operation in the 1980’s. He openly took credit for the bombing of a Cuban civilian airliner (See, Peter Dale Scott & Jonathan Marshall, Cocaine Politics (1991)). According to Ricardo Alarcon, President of the Cuban National Assembly, declassified State Department documents implicate Bosch in the assassination of Orlando Lettelier.

Today, thanks to a presidential pardon from George H.W. Bush, Bosch walks the streets of Miami, Florida, a free man.

Big Safari, the Kennedy Assassination, & the war for control of the Venice Airport
http://www.madcowprod.com/09082009.html

“I knew by now that when a group of individuals gravitated toward one another for no apparent reason, or inexplicably headed in the same direction as if drawn by a magnetic field, or coincidence piled on coincidence too many times, as often as not the shadowy outlines of a covert intelligence operation were somehow becoming visible.”—New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison

A fierce war being waged for control of the Venice Municipal Airport has led to the discovery of covert CIA and military operations, dating back to at least 1959, which go well beyond what was previously known to have taken place there.

Operations at the Venice Airport have involved individuals whose names figure prominently in the Kennedy Assassination, for example Texas oilman General D. H. (Harry) Byrd,  owner of a defense contractor which in the late 50's and early 60's built and launched Regulus II cruise missiles from the beach directly in front of the Venice Airport in a program run out of at Eglin AFB in Florida’s panhandle.

“Vought's Regulus II was a Mach 2 capable cruise missile optimized for launch from surfaced submarines and other Navy surface vessels, and later served as a high-speed target drone for other weapon development programs,” company literature stated.
Byrd’s Chance-Vought Aircraft, later re-named LTV, would become—almost immediately after the JFK assassination—a principal beneficiary of the massive military spending accompanying the growth of American military involvement in the Vietnam War.

General Byrd, of course, was the owner of the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas, where the Warren Commission alleged Lee Harvey Oswald fired the shots which killed President John F. Kennedy.

Byrd also ran the Texas and Louisiana Civil Air Patrol, at the same time cadets Barry Seal and Lee Harvey Oswald were meeting Kennedy assassination conspirator Capt. David Ferrie at a two-week summer camp of the Louisiana Civil Air Patrol at Barksdale Air Force Base in July of 1955.

Tracking down some loose ends in Cuba.

Amazingly—especially for a tiny airport located in an out-of-the-way retirement community—according to a recently-uncovered police report there is a second man active at the Venice Airport with relevance to the Kennedy assassination as well.

According to this recently-unearthed police report,  that man, a suspected CIA Agent,  flew to Cuba in 1969 on a mission to assassinate one of “four or five” of the men then still alive who had been part of the Kennedy assassination “hit team.”

A Dec 6 1978 memo from the Chief Deputy of the Sarasota Sheriff's Dept. to the FBI's Tampa office on the subject on Assassination of President John F. Kennedy" states he recently learned that four or five years ago "Stephen Ruth, arrested several years earlier on a burglary charge,  had been the passenger on an airplane that crashed in Cuban territory in...early 1970."

"At that time Ruth was suspected of trafficking in narcotics... had spent some time in jail in Cuba... and on his release returned to Venice Florida."

The day after Ruth was arrested, "Ruth contacted Corporal Lynn Taylor of the Sarasota Sheriff's office Venice Office.  Stephen Ruth reportedly told Corporal Taylor that his true mission in Cuba was to do away with an individual who was incarcerated in a Cuban prison."

"According to Ruth, this individual was one of five persons involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Ruth told... the officer....that within five years he would have some nice cars and as much money as he needed."

"Corporal Ruth asked Ruth if he had done what he was sent there to do and Ruth replied that the job had been done, and though there were no there comments, Corporal Taylor advised that he had the feeling Ruth was inferring he had been sent there by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA.)"

The police  report was found in the archives of the Mary Ferrell Foundation, in an  FBI folder from the House Select Committee on Assassinations. JFK VOLUME XV.

There are valid reasons to suspect Ruth may be telling the truth.  For one thing, as we will see tomorrow, within five years Ruth was rich. And Ruth also appears to have unexplained pull with authorities in Florida.

"50 years of covert ops. No film at eleven."

More details of the new revelations will be disclosed over the next several days, and placed in context of their importance in any future 9/11 investigation.

First, some brief background on the current controversy, and how it led to new discoveries about the 50-year history of covert operations at the Venice Airport.

The latest discoveries began after citizens of Venice asked if we would cover the momentous struggle underway there, the raging controversy over who will control the Venice Airport.

On one side are a reform city council, elected to get a handle on the more-or-less well-organized elite deviance which has seemingly emanated from the airport since time immemorial.

On the other: the FAA, the Dept of Homeland Security, and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, which has been leading a strenuous effort to insist that the city allow Huffman Aviation’s current iteration—controlled by a federal receiver after Art Nadel took up residence in the slammer—to build four new jet hangers at the airport.

The ferocity of the battle has been puzzling.

The airport—while valuable because it has no tower and thus offers easy, unwatched, and uncontrolled access to the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, and other Points South—does not seem irreplaceable.

The operations which have escaped public scrutiny for years in Venice would seem to be able to relocate somewhere else fairly easily.

Finders play Finders keepers

There are other out of the way airports in Florida with docile local populations, easily-bought off public officials, and newspapers whose watchdog functions can be easily lulled through occasional gifts of red meat.

Why fight so hard to remain in Venice, where its been (pretty much) exposed?

In an effort to make sense of the fierce passions on display, we took a new look at the history of the Venice Airport. And the answer we found there, and which best fits the circumstances, owes more to the vagaries of human nature than to the powers of Reason.

The “boys” at the Venice Airport are fighting so hard to keep their dirty operations based there… because that’s where they think they belong.

Why? Because they were there first.

The Venice Airport, of course, first became infamous after 9/11 for having played host to three of the four terrorist pilots involved in the attack.

The Airport’s reputation was further tarnished with the subsequent discovery—first reported exclusively here—that the owner of Huffman Aviation, Wallace J. Hilliard, was implicated in international heroin trafficking, and had had his Lear jet permanently seized by the DEA after it was caught carrying 43 lbs. of heroin in Orlando on July 25, 2000.

That date was less than three weeks after Mohamed Atta arrived—from Afghanistan, according to Rudi Dekkers, speaking with reporters on Sept. 12—a country which, even then, was responsible for most of the world’s heroin—to attend his Venice FL flight school.

It came as little surprise when this seemingly fruitful line of questioning was ignored by the 9/11 Commission.

"National security been berry berry good to me."

And when the new owner of Huffman Aviation was arrested recently, and charged with  running a Ponzi scheme which stole almost $400 million from local investors, it began to seem like business as usual at the Venice Airport.

“Spooks,” as we have been reporting for more than five years,  are no strangers at the Airport where Mohamed Atta's hijackers made their base in the U.S.

Venice was home to the headquarters of Beverley Enterprises, owned by Jackson Stephens, known as President Jimmy Carter’s roommate when both men were at the Naval Academy, we previously reported, in “Welcome to TerrorLand.”

Jackson Stephens’s name is almost invariably linked to America’s super-secret National Security Agency, the NSA, as well as to—it must be said—the massive cocaine trafficking through Mena, Arkansas during the 1980’s in support of the Contra war in Nicaragua.

From Welcome to TERRORLAND, chap 1:

“When we interviewed the former Venice Chief of Police, he seemed more than a little embarrassed, and totally apologetic about what had been allowed to happen at the tiny airport in his town. He asked that we not judge city officials too harshly. They had little or no control over what went on at the Venice Airport.

“The Venice Airport is the kind of place where it’s not unusual to see a Blackhawk helicopter touch down at three in the morning and then take off again 30 seconds later,” the former Chief said with a shrug. “Or the airport can be quiet and deserted one minute, and the next have 5000 paratroopers landing. That’s just the way it is here.”

The Most Dangerous Game

While Byrd’s Texas Book Repository was being put to what Mr Byrd no doubt claimed was unauthorized use on Nov. 22 1963, Mr Byrd himself had been otherwise engaged.

With a big assist from Linda Minor, a lawyer and invaluable researcher into all things Texan, and resources freely available at the amazing Mary Ferrell Foundation, we make bold to offer a brief distillation of what happened next…

On the day of the assassination Byrd was conveniently “away from his desk.”

He was out of the country on a two-month safari in central Africa. When he returned in January, his good friend Lyndon Johnson was the new President of the United States, his School Book Depository building had become famous in his absence, and a huge juicy defense contract was waiting on his desk, awarded to his company to build fighter planes, and to be paid from the 1965 Congressional budget… even though it had not yet been approved by Congress.

It sounds a lot like Al Capone, who was famously taking some sun down in Miami when the St Valentines Day Massacre shook Chicago. That is, of course, just conjecture. But here’s something that’s not:

We called on a source, now retired, who had worked in the American aerospace industry building satellites for the NSA for several decades.

He might have known General Harry Byrd, we figured. He had... in fact, he had worked for him at LTV.

And in between anecdotes that are colorful, but neither here nor there, he mentioned that, oh, bye the bye, did we know that

When Byrd’s defense aerospace firm LTV “went big” after the JFK assassination, he told us, it had become a big  part of an overarching Air Force Operation…

For years afterward, he said, every self-respecting big-time Air Force defense program—everyone who was anyone, in other words—came under the overall rubric of an Air Force Operation whose declassified code-name, when he named it,  give us pause.

It was called Operation Big Safari.

"The Earth is one big safari park for these good old boys,  and we're the lions and tigers and bears."

Oh my.

Stay Tuned.

I think this pretty much says Obama may not be all knowing about the deeds and the real goals of the NWO like many believe.I think many people are just plain fooled, lied to and mind controlled into going along not knowing the complete truth.

Food for thought.

I always wanted to make this point...

Even if Obama and everybody in the government suddenly "turned good" I don't think their "controllers" are gona' let them get away with it...

If the "happy motivational" stuff doesn't work -- there's always the blackmail... (And that statement has nothing to do with racism)

It really is a sobering thought when you realize our elected president in reality runs nothing.

The shadow government does... and who elects the president of that?

The NWO has been at this game for a very, very long time. You`ve got to figure they have a tactic for almost any given situation.Especially for power players who want to leave the fold.

Sane, this brings to mind our dear ol daddy Bush. Ex Director of the CIA.

His words to a reporter long ago can be compared to a terminal case of cancer.

He told a woman reporter this, " If the American people knew what I have done to this country they would lynch me"

I take issue with the remark that Obama is afraid, why should he be, he is afterall one of the elitists, he knew the game he had to play to become the man. He grabbed the brass ring to fortune and fame knowing what was in store.
He is a FK sociopath, he found his comrades and his ticket to the elite circle. Practiced, schooled, mentored by the masters, and well prepared to jump into Bushmasters shoes.
He will genocide the innocents, as well as send Americas sons to their death, yet he will not take one step forward for this nation and its people. AFRAID MY ARSE, THESE PARASITES ARE ON TOP OF THE WORLD.

How and Why we lost WWII

Prior to 1941 in accordance with our Constitution the USA had no permanent standing army nor military establishment other than its Reserve Officer Corps and a permanently established federal Navy. This is because our forefathers wisely foresaw that nothing was more inhospitable to Liberty than a standing army. The constitution clearly indicates the exception for established federal naval forces due to the long lag time it takes to build, arm and maintain a defensive fleet of warships. It was the States themselves that were to maintain, each their own standing State Militias at their cost and discretion alone.

"...avoid the necessity of those overgrown military establishments which, under any form of government, are inauspicious to liberty, and which are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty." -- George Washington

Since the united continental States are most largely land-locked nations to themselves, the defense of their common coastal defenses on the open seas were regarded as a federal duty and the risk of a criminal military navy commandeered by rogues turning on it's masters and thus threatening or coercing the nation itself was regarded as remote. This risk was outweighed by the inordinately long time it takes to build a navy which could not be left until after a provocation or invasion by foreign enemies.

In addition our forefathers wisely foresaw the evils of executive government "vice" (crimes) perpetrated by evil Satanic-Constantinian warlords  like the criminal warlord Elizabeth of England who issued secret "crime licenses" known as Letters of Marque to criminal false-flag pirates (Skull and Bones Privateers) like the criminal Francis Drake secretly permitting and allowing them to rape, murder and pillage foreign allies (Spain) without fear of criminal consequence in their criminal mafia homelands. Thomas Paine wisely spoke of this institution of criminal tyranny thus:

"while we give no encouragement to the importation of foreign vices, we ought to be equally as careful not to create any. A vice begotten might be worse than a vice imported. The latter, depending on favour, would be a sycophant; the other, by pride of birth, would be a tyrant: To the one we should be dupes, to the other - slaves"  Thomas Paine, Pennsylvania Magazine - 1775

No truer words cold ever be applied to the Imperial Cold War MI6-CIA-Mossad Mafia Cabals!

The Skull and Bones Club at the fascist Yale criminal indoctrination and training center for noble American elites is based upon this aspect of criminal tyranny reborn in recolonized postwar British-America. In the American Constitution Letters of Marque (crime licenses) could ONLY EVER be created by the OPEN VOTE of an OPEN SESSION of the FULL CONGRESS/SENATE to address a particular foreign concern or situation and thus given to their Presidential Commander-in-Chief to then issue (on our behalf) to "Privateers" to then allow and permit them to commit foreign crimes!

Such was the situation in the Civil War when, since the navies of the United States and the criminal Confederacy were otherwise fully engaged,  the open Congress freely granted President Lincoln Letters of Marque authorizing their bearers to pirate French and British supply ships giving aid, arms and comfort to the hateful criminal Confederate insurgency in their battle for corporate-socialist slave tyranny against the human rights of their black victims. Lincoln then issued these letters to Skull and Bones privateers authorizing them to freely attack and pillage all such vessels trading with the enemy. Note that these licenses were limited to the duration of the conflict only and directed only at ships trading with Confederate criminals.

WWII changed everything.

Not only was this a new type of ideological war between competing theocratic socialisms the whole age-old technology of both war itself and the warcraft employed were also changed dramatically by it.

On the ideological side  it was the first war between theocratic socialisms. Hitler and Mussolini's elite noble-corporate Catholic-Lutheran Christian-Workers Socialism at first considered itself naturally allied with Britain's Anglican Christian Socialism, Islamic Socialism and Japan's Shinto-Workers Socialism and these imperial dogmatic tyrannies all hated Liberalism, Jewish-religious Socialism and Marxist-religious Socialism. Curiously however Britain's weak Imperial-Conservatist Second Reich tyrants refused to suborn their tyranny to Hitler's Third Reich, even though the criminal Churchill had been the fondest pre-war admirer and closest friend of his idol Mussolini and his more secular form of elite "Corporate" Conservative-Socialism.

It is important here to remember that true Privatism went out with the old Tribal Mafia Warlords in the Dark Ages!

All governance is "socialism" of one sort or another!  In the old days a tribal Mafia Warlord Chieftain (or Godfather) ruled his family with an iron fist and they in turn "owned" and/or controlled everything and everyone else. This is totalitarian despotism. As "king"doms become larger and more diverse two forces came into play; the religious socialism of the shamans and the elite special interest territorialism of the noble classes. The territorialism of the nobles required systems of tribute, patronage and homage and socialist high councils (elite democratic socialism in Houses of Lords) which diluted the despots absolute power, while the grassroots religious socialism of the shamans resulted in a threat to the noble mafia's "immoral" lawlessness!  The only solution was for the warlord to either become a living god-owner of the social dogma (Egypt, Rome and Japan) or to control a regimented military-corporate socialist "religion" (Leviticans, Constantinians and Anglicans). Our forefathers thus wisely established  no corporation nor brand of religious-socialist corporatism despite their vast majority being predominantly of some forms of Christianists. Meanwhile, imperial Marxist state-religious corporatism marked the full circle return to totalitarian despotism in a dangerous new form. This Fourth Reich challenge to Imperial Britain's globally-established Second Reich (Commonwealth and American Colony since 1913)  was destined to become the new enemy for the Anglican-Socialist Lords of London even though it was also Hitlers and Stalin was then our ally!

"morality can be maintained without religion." George Washington

During this time Britain's despotic criminal military industrial MI6 Mafia, Russia's criminal military industrial KGB Mafia and Hitlers criminal military industrial Gestapo/SS Mafias seemed to require America to manufacture a criminal military-industrial mafia of its own, then known as the OSS.

"Unfortunately when one adopts the tools of a tyranny to fight one, one has already lost that war." Me

On the warcraft side of WWII three new unconventional forms of marginally-naval warcraft changed warfare forever. The first was the fighter and bomber forms of aircraft or manned air weapons which like their naval ship counterparts seemed to fall into the category of naval warcraft or ships of the air. The other was the grossly evil horror of unmanned rocket missiles, which at first were only of short range and of criminally indiscriminate limited destructive powers. While bomber and fighter armadas could be permanently established under the guise and cover of the standing naval provision of the constitution, ground based missiles and air bases could not!

The third, nuclear fission and thermonuclear fusion bombs attached to long range intercontinental missiles changed everything! These indiscriminate criminal weapons of mass destruction rendered the careful provisions of our constitution meaningless and irrelevant.

It was in light of this new reality that the moron Truman surrendered to Churchill's "Iron Curtain" plan for a postwar cold war with the Imperial Marxist Religion establishing a permanent standing army and importing the new CIA Mafia version of Britain's MI5/6 criminal standing-pirate Skull and Bones Mafias. Then Senator L B Johnson's secret last-minute amendment to the Defense Reorganization Act of 1948 (NOT the failed National Defense Act of 1947 which never passed) allowed the criminal Eisenhower to establish the criminal CIA Mafia whose sole purpose was the defense of military industrial economic corporatism. In short if the US had no real enemies (and hasn't for years now, since the imperial totalitarian Soviet Marxist religion quietly capitulated in 1980) it would be the CIA Mafia's job #1 to create new ones (exactly what they did with the Mujihadeen in Afghanistan the same year).

The NDA resulted in USC 50 413(b) which creates a criminal secret disinformation oligarchy that can disinform both their 'president' and the secret small elite noble cabal of congresspersons  that (supposedly) secretly "oversees them" in secrecy! Thus "National (in)security" and complete lies can be fabricated by the CIA/NSA Mafias in secret to force a President to "order them" do whatever they wish in secret and in secret again the secret Intelligence Cabal od congress sworn to secrecy can be later fed the same lies to justify the criminal activities thus ordered by the slave President to meet the aims and goals of the military industrial, elite corporate socialist CIA/NSA Mafia Oligarchs!

Why only open, honest truth allows people to be free

When ground was criminally broken on September 11th 1941 to build the Pentagon Mafia headquarters for a permanent, unconstitutional standing federal military establishment it marked the end of the lawful rule of our constitution of liberty.  To any observer it has always been patently obvious that the illegal, unconstitutional criminal CIA Mafia oligarchy is, has always been and will always be a deeply conflicted fascist criminal organization. One part supplies a good product of information the other commits crimes it solicits unlimited unregulated and un-overseen crime licenses for, in secret, by manufacturing carefully distorted disinformation! It is a perfect extortion racket trading secret or not so secret false flag terrorism for an endless and bottomless coffer of extorted bounties for it and it's destructive, mass murdering, illiberal, election buying corporate-industrial patrons.

Is Obama a victim or a tool?

If Obama had ever fully spoken the truth (dismantling the military industrial complex and the CIA Mafia) and was now changing his tune we could assume he was a good person living in fear!

In fact Obama only proffered vague euphemisms towards some sorts of change. His directionless stay the course "leadership" and hollow. shallow initiatives are now converting all those somewhat dramatic promises into pale and anemic lies! He pays off the banksters, keeps up and accelerates the wars he opposed, offers an alternative, competing low-payout public gambling casino disease repair system instead of universal healthcare, refuses to investigate either torture or the Daniel Chapter 8 Show CIA Mafia mass murders on 9/11.

He authorizes an exercise over NYC to demonstrate that Air Force One cannot escape the fighters of the Pentagon Mafia?

He's not on the side of freedom, he's in on it!

Excellant, this took some courage to put togther these facts.

I have my doubts concerning Obama, he is not afraid of retribution from the CIA.
When they say deep cover, Obama comes to mind immediatly. The office (CIA and their mates) did a profile and indocrination of this sociopath to beat the ol band. He is one of them, it would make a a back door available to him if he were to use this as cover, though rest assured he would take this same cover to the grave. He is blood pacted to this group.
My take only.

From Hedge Funds to Handcuffs - Art Nadel Guilty; New hedge fund owner takes over Huffman Aviation
1 March 2010, by Daniel Hopsicker

http://www.madcowprod.com/03012010.htm

In a surprise court appearance last Wednesday hedge fund owner Art Nadel pled guilty in a New York Federal court.

It was a bitter disappointment to swindled investors, as well as to interested onlookers anxious for a trial, to get a glimpse of not only how he did it, but who he did it with.

Nadel’s guilty plea may have removed the best—maybe the only—chance to make accountants and bookkeepers and  managers at feeder hedge funds, all of whom had front row seats to the scandal, face public scrutiny while testifying about what went on at Scoop Management.

Most people find it impossible to believe he acted alone.

Nadel isn't tall, rangy, and CIA-connected, like fellow Ponzi All Star Allen Stanford, or even burly, like Bernie Madoff,  but meek-looking, and unprepossessing physically. He's the Woody Allen, or, for those old enough to remember, the Wally Cox of Ponzi World.

There's lots of anger among jilted investors, who stand little chance of getting back anything more than a few pennies on the dollar of the $168 million they're estimated to have lost.

Why do Florida lawyers all seem like extras from "Body Heat?"

If they're counting on Tampa attorney Burton Wiand's help, they may be waiting a long time. Many actions taken by Wiand since being named the federal receiver charged with unraveling Nadel's  finances last January seem open to question.

Real suspicions should also focus on what he hasn't done. Reading court transcripts can sometimes be eye-opening...

Long-time SEC lawyer Wiand dragged his feet (top snippet) on supplying Nadel's files, which he'd seized in the civil action he's involved in against Nadel, to federal prosecutors in New York charged with convicting him in criminal court, clearly higher priority.

Perhaps more importantly, his testimony in September revealed that he's not going after any money, other than his own ($750,ooo reportedly so far), with anything like the vengeance his job description promises jilted investors.

When he went back to court asking for more money last summer, the  brief he filed said, "One of the receiver's highest priorities is to locate and recover any additional funds."

Yet three months later, almost nine months after he was appointed, Wiand's testimony revealed that he's aware, though somewhat vaguely, of $5 million he's owed from Christopher and Neil Moody... but he hadn't gotten around to asking them about it.

Wiand to investors: "The check's in the mail"

If things look bad for Nadel's hapless investors, the outlook for the citizens of Venice, Florida, where Nadel owned the same business that earlier trained Mohamed Atta to fly, looks absolutely bleak.

For them, Nadel’s descent, "from hedge fund owner to handcuffs,"  may feel a little like going from the frying pan into the fire.

The chief lieutenant of the new owner of the former Huffman Aviation, who is often named President of the various financial entities of his boss, was at the heart of a Wall Street scandal that was—until the financial meltdown last year—the biggest and costliest scandal Wall Street had ever seen.

The name of the new owner, which a Venice City Attorney told the Venice City Council they had no right to know, is  Eugene Gorab.

Gorab, who claimed to be worth more than 100 million dollars in an interview with the Sarasota Herald Tribune last year, made his pile buying and selling hotels and casinos.

He worked for a hugely successful tycoon named Barry Sternlicht, who, while Gorab was working for him, owned more casinos than anyone on the planet.

We know what you're thinking. But wait. It gets worse.

Gorab owns the majority stake in private equity fund Greenfield Partners in Norwalk Connecticut, just a few exits up the Merritt Parkway from Greenwich, where Fairfield Partners helped Bernie Madoff relieve investors of unwanted capital.

More interesting by far is that Gorab owns Clayton Holdings, a company whose failures in due-diligence played a direct role in the multibillion dollar collapse of the nation's housing market.

Clayton Holdings is the nation's largest due-diligence company: a firm which is hired by investment houses to make sure blocks of loans meet the seller's own standards.

Despite the fact that the underlying home loans didn't get within shouting distance of meeting  those quality standards, Clayton Holdings paid off like a slot machine, signing off on the mortgage investments,  the instrument of mass destruction which has succeeded in bombing the American economy back to the Stone Age.

Gorab, who didn't own Clayton Holdings until recently, wasn't responsible. He bought the company as Clayton’s former President received immunity from New York’s Attorney General Andrew Cuomo in return for testimony about underwriting "exceptions" his firm’s project managers gave its Wall Street accounts.

Will Eugene Gorab—the man who now owns Huffman Aviation—let the world take a look at Clayton's books?

When pigs fly, is our guess.

The Straw Men

Definition of “straw man”: noun (CRIME) n (also man of straw):  Someone, often an imaginary person, who is used to hide an illegal or secret activity.

Example: “The fraud depended on hundreds of bank accounts being opened on behalf of straw men.”

The three lads who say they're the owners of Huffman Aviation refuse to release the names of their just-created company's investors.  So how can we say we know Eugene Gorab owns Huffman Aviation?

Simple: Gorab, for starters, already owns Volo Aviation in Sarasota. He has, give or take, $100 million in aviation investments, which is $100 million more than the three lads claiming to be the owners. More importantly, the trio were all working for Gorab when they bought it.

And he didn't fire them for competing with the company where they work.

Finally, we know Gorab owns Huffman because, even though there's a new front man at Volo Aviation at the Sarasota Airport, he's Gorab's chief lieutenant, the President of Gorab's Volo.

Eugene Gorab is adept at moving the pea around under the cup. We would have expected no less.

Meet Thom Harrow. He's "working to keep your trust."

Thom Harrow, most recently listed as President of Volo Holdings, has been an officer of a myriad of Gorab's shell companies, which change with bewildering regularity, which may well be the point. Example: the "ownership of Volo Sarasota just changed hands, again.

Harrow now operates at least four FBO’s (including the one in Sarasota) under the banner of APP, which stands for Airside Property Partners.

Airside Property Partners, in turn, is owned by Airside Investors, which owns the website airproperty.net.

Only God, and the state of Delaware, knows who owns Airside Investors. But if their names were to magically appear, we bet the name "Gorab" would be there.

Thom Harrow, it, turns out, has had an interesting, and some might say—hell we'll say it—checkered career.

Remember the old TV commercials for The Rock? Prudential Securities? Their commercials all ended with this catchy phrase: "The most important thing we earn is your trust."

As it turns out, it wasn't true.

Harrow was a senior executive at Prudential Securities during the late 80’s and early 90’s, while executives and brokers at the company were busily engaged in what reporters— in those far more innocent times—called the largest fraud in US history.

Prudential brokers and executives defrauded investors of $8 billion.

No other Wall Street scandal to that time had come even close to touching the debacle at Prudential. Mike Milliken (junk-bonds, remember?) at Drexel Burnham, was a piker by comparison, settled  for $650 million, a pittance by the $8 billion gold standard Prudential was setting.

According to NEWSWEEK:

"In this topsy-turvy world due diligence was a sham, brokers were hounded — even fired — for questioning the quality of deals, and no executive displayed much interest in knowing what was really going on."

Does that sound familiar? Due diligence was a sham? And now Thom Harrow's partner owns the company doing more due diligence than any other.

Kurt Eichenwald covered the story for TIME magazine, then wrote a book about the scandal called, appropriately enough, "Serpent on the Rock."

According to a review of his book in the New York Times:

"Eichenwald presented an appalling indictment of managers who did dozens of deals with a convicted embezzler, spent millions of investors' dollars on lavish trips to places like Cancun and Maui, and made cozy arrangements with developers to make themselves rich no matter how their clients fared."

But wait...We get ahead of ourselves. In fairness, Thom Harrow himself wasn't charged with a crime. He deserves the benefit of the doubt. He might have been one of the good guys who stuck around to clean up the mess.

We like to think the best about people. We're sure you do, too.

Locking-in profits for decades to come.

Discovering that Harrow was working for "The Rock" when it melted into something like butter was no easy task.

For the most part Harrow's bios neglect to mention it.

But in his bio included in the literature of a Louisiana company, presumably a friendly audience, he left it in.

Thom Harrow is, currently, the Treasurer of a Baton Rouge Louisiana-based non-profit charity called Provident Resources Group.

Provident's literature shows them to be involved in providing resources (hence the name, we assume)  in the following fields:

CitiState (sic), Education, Healthcare, Housing, and Senior Living.

Here's how they describe themselves:

"Based in Baton Rouge, La., Provident Resources Group is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of serving the needs of the elderly; promoting and advancing health care; assisting the poor by providing affordable housing; lessening the burdens of government; promoting and advancing education; and preserving the environment."

In the pursuit of its charitable mission, Provident has become a national non-profit organization committed to the development, ownership and operation of state-of-the-art health, education, senior living, and multi-family housing facilities and services across the country.

“Furthermore, Provident actively strives to assist state and local governments in lessening the burdens they face in providing many needed services to their citizens.”

Its all good. Right?

When we realized what the company actually does, it came as something of a shock. When not "actively striving in pursuit of its charitable mission, they build and run private prisons.

Eleven Private Correctional Facilities, to be exact, in Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia,, and Alaska.

That "lessening the burden" of government in this fashion was someone's idea of a "charitable mission" came as a shock to the Wall Street Journal as well. The paper reported on Provident in a May 1, 2002 story under the headline:

"Charities Said To Be Playing Enron-Style Partnership Game.

"At the D. Ray James Prison in south Georgia, the inmates have been kept behind bars by all types of lawmen: sheriffs, chiefs of police and more than a few wardens. But never, until now, have they been kept in jail by a charity."

What Provident offers the corrections world, in the most charitable way, of course, reported the Journal  is  “offering off-the-books financing for public and private prison operators."

"Provident does this by creating special subsidiaries and partnerships that take advantage of controversial accounting rules and allow its clients to keep debt off of their balance sheets."

Provident "isn't a conventional charity. It is run by a group of lawyers, investment bankers and financial consultants. Lehman Bros. Holdings Inc. and other Wall Street titans do its financial work."

With that "impressive firepower, Provident is trying to carve a unique niche for itself in the corrections world, offering off-the-books financing for public and private prison operators."

It has "helped the state of North Carolina and Cornell Cos., a for-profit prison company, buff their financial profiles."

Provident "does this by creating special subsidiaries and partnerships that take advantage of controversial accounting rules and allow its clients to keep debt off of their balance sheets." In exchange for its role, Provident "arranges to receive potentially lucrative fees, some of which it calls exempt from federal income tax.

In the last nine months Provident entities, with help from Lehman, have sold more than $420 million of debt to investors."

Like Enron. Only unindicted.

We thought: maybe we're just being cynical. It can happen. Then we found this headline:

"PERINATAL UNIT CLOSING; NO MORE MATERNITY PATIENTS AT GRANADA HILLS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

Provident got involved with a struggling community hospital in the San Fernando Valley... offering to help.  Reporter Evan Pondel in the January 22, 2003 Los Angeles Daily News picks up the story:

"In an effort to rescue the hospital, Wallace struck a deal with a controversial charity for help. Soon thereafter, California's attorney general approved Baton Rouge, La.-based Provident Foundation Inc. to take control of the hospital's board."

The organization has been operating as a not-for-profit group since 1999, and analysts say Provident is by no means a conventional charity.

Matt Hull, analyst with Avondale partners in Nashville, Tenn., said in a previous interview that the company is run by a group of lawyers, investment bankers and financial consultants -- many of whom are former Lehman Brothers employees.

James Doulgeris was hired by Provident to serve as interim CEO, and his firm, Healthcare Resource Specialists, was tapped to provide crisis and turnaround management strategies for the hospital.

"We are in the center of settling our bankruptcy with creditors ... and the decline in patients we serve in the perinatal unit has been accelerating," said Doulgeris.

"There are no plans to close other departments, and emergency services for expectant mothers still will be available through the hospital's emergency room."

Uh-oh. We could feel it. Bad news was coming,

    According to analyst Hull::

"Company President Stan Hicks, 53, who served as a member of the national finance committee for the Clinton-Gore campaign in 1992, appears to manage a company that, by some reports, receives lucrative fees under the guise of being a charity."

Millie Hernandez has worked at the hospital for 17 years. She understands that Provident has invested in prison facilities and has a murky business reputation.

"There's only so much you can take," Hernandez said. "The hospital can't function like this for much longer."

Granada Hills Community Hospital closed for good shortly thereafter.

"Meet the new Boss. Same as the old Boss."

When the new owner of the former Huffman Aviation FBO took over operations at the Venice Airport last month, the Sarasota Herald Tribune was quick to note that the only noticeable change in operations “was a Shell fuel truck on the premises to replace the Chevron brand that former owner Art Nadel sold.”

The statement was meant to be reassuring. In reality, it was not.

It was business as usual.

And there's anger in Venice, where recent owners of the FBO (Fixed-Base of Operations) at the Venice Municipal Airport have been civic failures on an epic scale.

Art Nadel’s $400 million Ponzi scheme robbed real people—teachers, firemen— of hard-won retirements…

And prior owner Wally Hilliard, who masqueraded as a Mormon deacon while being involved—according to the DEA, which confiscated his Lear jet, denying his pretense of having been an “innocent owner”—in international heroin trafficking.

Hilliard's transgression was made immeasurably worse—worse beyond measure—when Mohamed Atta and a dozen other terrorists exploited the opportunity to create a cozy home base for themselves in the year before the 9/11 attack.

To say the recent past of the former Huffman Aviation at the Venice Airport has been “troubled” is like saying that the economy is going through a “correction.”  It's true, as far as it goes, but it doesn't convey the anguish these two  men have caused the country, and also the citizens of Venice.

The ingredients for another world-class scandal at the Venice Airport are frighteningly visible. Sleazy characters in expensive suits.  Abuse of power. Cover-up.

During the special meeting of the Venice City Council called to consider the lease transfer before the federal bankruptcy judge's deadline, questions were repeatedly raised about why Tri-State would release no financial information on its owners.

Surprisingly, the supposed new owners weren’t forced to answer. Leaping to their defense was an assistant city attorney who repeatedly advised the council they had no reason to object to Wiand’s choice.

Calling the backgrounds of the new managers "blue chip," he said, "As staff we think they have passed the test probably more so than any tenant we've had at the airport."

The city's mayor, Ed Martin, made a remarkable admission that indicated he wasn’t fooled.

"We're not in a position to determine who these people are,” he said.  “Whether they are U.S. nationals, or whether they have criminal ties."

Well, Ed. Now you know.

Alluding to the assassination of JFK, long-time high-level CIA analyst says Panetta and the President 'afraid of these guys because these guys have a whole lot to lose if justice takes its course'...

Don't you think Panetta and Obama knew this before they took the jobs? So, if they were afraid, why did they take the job? Panetta has been in government before. He couldn't be that stupid to not know. Remember the only ones who get to the top are usually compromised and/or just go along with the program because they benefit.

Nope, IMO they are on the inside and know exactly what they're doing (i.e. betraying the people of America).

This is disinformation so that the people who believe in the JFK assassination conspiracy will believe that Obama is our saviour and he's on the side of We the People. I'm willing to bet that there is going to be an assassination attempt on someone in our Government very soon. There's all of this provocation going on in the media with people like Beck, Hannity, and Limbaugh trying to stir the pot. They do everything they do, and say everything they say for a reason. I don't believe in the bumbling stupidity of Government. I think there's a public face, and a private face. One looks stupid so that anyone that tries to discuss a black budget, or a Shadow Government can be dismissed by someone saying, "Look how they can't get anything right!"

I agree wholeheartedly.  Obama is just a puppet for the elite.  They have no qualms of killing him.  It could serve their interest to curtail the Patriot Movement.

Rahm Emmanuel wouldn't shed a tear if Obama got offed.

Neither would Hillary.

The only reason he's not dead is because it would create a riot. They need to make people think he's the best President ever, they need to build him up into a JFK type, so that when they do off him they can use the 'dream of Obama, the best President ever' as a great cover for whatever they want do.

That's what I think, anyway.

On the other hand, a riot would enable the elite to herd Americans into FEMA camps.  They'd throw some black rioters in a FEMA camp with some hand picked Patriots (of course, Obama gets killed by a Patriot/Truther/whatever...).  Public would applaud.

What you lookin at boy? I don't have all day for your candy ass squirmin here now boy!"

"Answer me now!"
