Alex,
Have you guests take note that when I casted my 5 star rating for the Aaron Dykes video titled, "Charlie Sheen's Video Message to President Obama," I was the 554th person to rate the video while I was the 303rd viewer, along with dozens of other people commenting on the comments section of Youtube.
Any input into this? Could it just be some sort of counter lag issue at Youtube? Or does it seem more nafarious to you, too?

It just takes up to a day to update the viewcount.

Really? What kind of design is that? Any website programmer would tell you it takes less than a line of code to have a dynamic counter.
