Stop using the NWO's technological solutions if you want to be free
"Computers did not talk to each other" - the universal lie for total slavery.

It was the excuse for the creation of the "Patriot Act."

It was the excuse for the implementation of the Department of "Homeland Security."

It IS the same excuse now used for the push to get everyone on board globally with the WAVE 4 Communications system and others like it.

It IS the same excuse being shoved down the throats of STATE GOVERNMENTS--that they MUST use their system (see RPAC-I Regional Preparedness Advisory Committees, above.)  Citing the 9/11 black op as the result of "communication and /or intelligence failures."

It IS the same excuse being used for H.R. 748 federalization of all university, college, school "security".

It IS the same excuse being pushed for "healthcare", the digitization of all medical records/info, prescriptions/purchases.  "Oh those poor people waiting in line to get their medication, or to see a doctor, etc."

To whom it may concern:  The "Interoperability" is for the New World Order's safety, not for yours.  It is for their control, period, 100%.  It is analogous to the TPM, Trusted Platform Module in CPU's.  Trust FOR the criminal globalist corporations, total UNTRUST for US.  I'm glad that you're finally beginning to wake up.

The Data Beast

- by Catherine Austin Fitts

When I served as Assistant Secretary of Housing at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the first Bush Administration, I discovered that the government was paying billions of dollars to large banks, defense contractors and universities to collect and manage data on the people and resources of the United States.

The lead defense contractor at HUD was paid approximately $150 billion to run the systems. (That was later to increase by even greater amounts.) No matter how much we paid to create and maintain rich databases, it was almost impossible for me to get any data that I needed to do my job. What I did get required a extraordinary effort on my part.

My efforts to get basic management and financial information was met with fear, lies and endless passive aggressive behavior. I soon learned that data about money in government was like cigarettes in prison. It was a currency, traded for power and position. Data that was supposed to be public was not easily available to government officials and it was certainly not available to the average person. Data that was supposed to be private appeared easily accessible to a variety of financial interests.

Years later, my company Hamilton Securities Group served as lead financial advisor to the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). We were ordered by the agency to implement a comprehensive portfolio strategy and collect the necessary data from the agency. Most of the data needed was supposed to be publicly available. Thus began a data war during which various parts of the agency and the defense contractors who controlled and managed the data made it impossible for us to get various portions of the necessary data.

Frustrated, we started to build a software tool that simply identified all the federal data publicaly available online that informed resources in communities and would allow the user to aggregate and display the data by neighborhood. My employees were afraid of the project, so I finally assumed the initial leadership myself.

(Above: Properties collaterializing assigned (defaulted) FHA single family mortgages in South Central Los Angeles; circa 1996)

One of the many charts that we produced showed that a very high percentage of the urban populations receiving housing subsidy were also receiving welfare and food stamp funds administered by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).  This information had profound implications for the debate regarding welfare reform in the mid-1990’s. At the request of a mutual friend, we met with the Secretary of HHS and showed her the mappings of the various cities and what it meant to her program. She gasped and said, “I have been asking for this data for years. How did you get it?” We explained that we had found the HHS data on her agency’s website and simply aggregated it with other sets that we dug out in a similar fashion.

(Above: properties involving various FHA insured mortgages in Washington DC; yellow dots are foreclosed properties; circa 1996)

The government seized our software and databases in 1998. It took many years for me to get them back and when I did the most valuable parts were stolen.

(Above: Properties collaterializing assigned (defaulted) FHA single family mortgages in New Orleans; circa 1996)

In fiscal 1998, $17 billion was missing from HUD. In fiscal 1999, $59 billion was missing from HUD. This while HUD was engineering the greatest housing bubble to ever fraudulently induce America.  No effort was made to figure out or find the missing money. The theory spun publicly was that the computers did not talk to each other so no one could find the data they needed to figure out what had happened, let alone get any money or fraudulently issued mortgage insurance policies and securities back.

I am blogging these stories - long past — as background for comments I want to make about the advisability of mandating federal government ownership and control of the medical and health data of all Americans.

http://solari.com/blog/?p=2100

In assessing the advisability of a national health database, it is valuable to understand that a national health database will be:

    * one of many databases containing data about you that will feed programs like Main Core;
    * exponentially increase the power of how Main Core can impact you and your future.

I grew up next to a University campus. My parents loved to learn. Our home was filled with books and people from diverse backgrounds.

One of my mother’s best friends had narrowly escaped the German concentration camps. Many in her family did not and died in the camps. I also met people who escaped Germany at the end of WWII to avoid prosecution or persecution as Nazis. I became curious about the practical details of how the Holocaust could have happened. An avid reader, I searched through book after book looking for explanations.

Implementing an operation that will offend or warn your potential victims - such as stealing all their money and assets, destroying their civil liberties or even killing them - involves some serious logistical challenges.

How do you kill the first 10%  without everyone else getting wind of the danger and stopping or killing you? People are ornery. They get upset about real threats and will organize and act. If you have sufficient weaponry, you can go ahead and “just do it.” However, then everyone knows who and what you are which can be threatening to your authority and financial operations, let alone the profitability of continued killing.

When I became Assistant Secretary of Housing in 1989, I had the opportunity to learn a great deal about large bureaucracies. Fascinated by the logistics of getting complex operations implemented on such a large scale, I studied long hours with exceptional career staff eager to teach an appointee the details of implementing government laws, regulations, programs and other forms of credit and spending. Added to my years on Wall Street as well as starting and running various businesses, it helped me build an understanding of how things work in both government and business from a household or a community up to the Oval Office and through to the money and players behind the scenes.

As the corruption spread throughout our society in the 1990’s, I was forced by circumstance to use that knowledge to estimate how the operations of systemic physical and financial violence in our society work. How is so much financial fraud engineered? How was it millions of Americans went along with a housing and debt bubble that bankrupted us? What about the distribution of narcotics into every community in America in ways that are invisible to most people? How is $500 billion - $1 trillion of the proceeds of mortgage and financial fraud, drug sales and other illegal businesses laundered through the US financial system with rarely a peep from the network news?

Whether long ago in Germany or more recently in the drugging and bankrupting of America, I kept coming back to the importance of building proprietary or secret databases and information systems to support your operations, particularly if you need it to be invisible.

Such operations are quite expensive, which is part of the beauty of having governments pay private companies and banks to collect and maintain such data, which can then be secretly aggregated and applied.  What looks like many different government agencies with diverse purposes, is really a few large defense contractors and banks building and maintaining vast databases that are easily aggregated in powerful ways.

In short, control, theft, slavery and/or murder on a large scale requires - at a minimum - a significant investment in invisible database and information systems.

To get a sense of the power and importance of good database management in implementing genocide, I strongly recommend Edwin Black’s IBM and the Holocaust: The Strategic Alliance between Nazi Germany and America’s Most Powerful Corporation

From Sam Smith
The Progressive Review - 11 Feb 2009

Washington Monthly - The National Coordinator for Health Information Technology isn’t “new”; it was created by George W. Bush five years ago. More importantly, the measure is about medical records, not limiting physicians’ treatments.

Progressive Review - While much of the foregoing is true, a reading of the legislation suggests unprecedented interference in the business of doctors and hospitals, not unlike the feds ordering every small business to use a certain software and then make regular reports on just how they are using it.

The measure did not belong in the stimulus package. It should have been a stand alone bill with full hearings, especially with the deep questions it raised concerning patient privacy.

Further, some of the language is vague enough to suggest the possibility of greater future federal control. For example:

“The Secretary shall seek to improve the use of electronic health records and health care quality over time by requiring more stringent measures of meaningful use . . .

“The National Coordinator shall annually evaluate the activities conducted under this subtitle and shall, in awarding grants, implement the lessons learned from such evaluation in a manner so that awards made subsequent to each such evaluation are made in a manner that, in the determination of the National Coordinator, will result in the greatest improvement in the quality and efficiency of health care.”

Frankly, we preferred that was left to our doctor.

The mere existence of this measure presumes, even though appearing to deal only with health records, an assumed right of the federal government to intervene in health care in a substantial way that could easily be expanded. The gestalt behind this measure is completely different than programs like single payer or expanded Medicare that are designed to deal with paying for medical care, not controlling it.

Add to this the major question of patient privacy - how long will it be before the NSA, FBI and Homeland Security have easy access to these records? - and there are more than enough reasons for this measure to have been dropped from the bailout bill.

Consider that every citizen who arrives at a hospital with an overdose or having drunk too much will be in a file easily accessible by law enforcement and others regardless of what nice promises are made to the contrary. It might even possible for the police to charge some one based on a doctor’s report of drug use. And, of course, it’s a substantial gift to the spy agencies, the biggest data collection system since the NSA started recording phone calls.

Welcome to Obama’s brave new world.

Also, the key bombshell reference that I made on the show about the connection that Dr. Ibrahim admitted, revealing the collaborative research involvement of George Mason university, System Architectures Laboratory, who's head is Alexander H. Levis.

Avian Flu-Criticial Infrastructure, False Flag wargame-Ptech Lab in charge of CS

You can't make this stuff up.

Really makes one wonder if Rod Beckstrom "quit" as the head of Cyber Security, or was pressured to get out--because they needed to bring in the University itself [and supplant the NSA even] that directly researched Ptech (in the very words of the original Pre-911 Ptech former Chief Scientist, Dr. Hussein Ibrahim). America is going to get false flagged to death.  What a coincidence that GMU also has a 30 page document regarding Avian Flu along with being a major player in "Critical Infrastructure Protection."  Hey, if you work for the government and you're reading this, you better seriously wake the f**k up.

Cyber Security and the Law: Addressing Compliance, Complexity, and Confusion

The Cyber Security Industry Alliance and The Critical Infrastructure Protection Program at George Mason University School of Law present a three-part symposium on the emerging landscape of cyber security legislation and compliance. The frequency and complexity of legislation surrounding cyber security has exploded in the past two years. As our lives and commerce become increasingly dependent on IT systems, the interaction of existing laws and proposed legislation becomes more and more complex. This symposium series explores the complex emerging framework of multi-level legal and technology compliance requirements.
SAVE THE DATES:

March 22 (State Level)
April 26 (Federal Level)
May 26 (International Level)
Space is limited
RSVP now to Amy Cobb, 703-993-8193 or acobb1@gmu.edu

The symposium series will be held at 6:15 pm on March 22; the April 26 session will be held at Holland & Knight LLP's offices at 2099 Pennsylvania, conveniently located near the Foggy Bottom Metro Stop (Orange & Blue Line); the final session of this three-part series will be held May 26 near Capitol Hill. A keynote speaker or panel will focus on a specific legislative and compliance arena each evening, with a wine and cheese discussion and reception to follow.

State-Level Cyber Security Compliance
Tuesday, March 22 (GMU Law School Main Atrium)
6:15-8:00 pm

California's passage of Senate Bill 1386 places the burden on businesses, no matter where they are based or where they process information, to take "adequate measures" to protect the personal information of California residents. The national impact of this requirement could be profound. Similarly, a recent scan of a legislative tracking service showed that over twenty five state legislatures have proposed legislation that touches upon "spyware," each with potentially different definitions and exceptions. This session will hone in on state-level developments that may develop in conflict with other states and that may impact clients in various ways across state lines.

Invited speakers include…

David Albo and David Oblon of Albo & Oblon LLP. David Albo proposed Virginia's anti-spam law; David Oblon defended one of the first cases prosecuted under the law. Hear the two partners provide perspective on both sides of the issue, as well as the outline of other emerging state-level compliance issues from across the nation.

Federal-Level Cyber Security Compliance
Tuesday, April 26 (Holland & Knight LLP - 2099 Pennsylvania Ave, N.W.)
6:15-8:00 pm

Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA, and the Telecommunications Act of 1996 were all originally passed to deal with non-cyber security issues - yet each affects how data is transmitted, processed and compiled. The development of case law interpreting these statutes is also likely to determine how broadly federal law impacts cyber security. This session explores the federal landscape and the potential trajectory of judicial interpretation.

Speakers include:

    * Michael Sozan, office of Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL)
    * Frank Cavaliere, office of Senator George Allen (R-VA)
    * Rod Nydam, GMU
    * Jessica Herrera, Minority House Homeland Committee
    * Steve Devine, Majority House Homeland Committee

International-Level Cyber Security Compliance
Thursday, May 26 (Capital Hill or Holland & Knight)
6:15-8:00 pm

If state and federal law appear inconsistent, federal and international law are even more so. Tonight's session will set forth the existing pieces of the international cyber security puzzle, identifying places where diplomacy and concerted effort may be able to harmonize legal issues across borders.

Invited speakers include…
Jody Westby, Chair of the ABA's International Cybercrime Project

Space is limited RSVP now to Amy Cobb, 703-... or acobb1@gmu.edu

Title: Advanced C2 Process Modeling and Requirements Analysis Technology
Abstract: This effort will demonstrate the ability to develop an innovative C2 investment decision support system. The objective system springs from a completely original conceptualization of the problem. It will support "product and process modeling of integrated operational and system architectures" and will produce results that can be used within the Air Force spiral development process, C2 management philosophy, and PPBS. This system will improve access to mathematically rigorous, token-based architecture by orders of magnitude. Ptech and George Mason University's System Architectures Laboratory will integrate object oriented C2 architecture modeling and a Discrete Event System model to construct a software system that can: - Synthesize Colored Petri Nets from a set of object oriented products. We will develop and employ a file-based interface between Ptech's FrameWork modeling environment and Design/CPN.- Verify the logical soundness and behaviors of architectures by executing the models and using token-based, state space and behavioral analysis techniques against an agreed set of measures. -Report results in a variety of agreed graphical and textual formats. This Phase I effort includes early proof-of-concept demonstrations to enable the Team to gain favorable position for development funding or approval for FAST TRACK funding.

AI is like the Martin Luther King of exposing risk management architecture. He starts off kind of slow, unassuming, unthreatening, highly complicated, almost boring. Then slowly the subconscious is filled with facts and figures. Names and dates. Then the awareness starts to pick up. Then the depth of just how horrendous this situation is becomes apparent in a calm, sincere, and determined communication. One cannot help but be awakened by his thorough analysis and the mountain of connections. James provides the perfect moderation to allow huge amounts of space for AI while keeping the listener in an overall framework of solid reality.

To all the readers of this post...you will not find more information packed into a single interview concerning the CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER of cyberterror/pandemic false flags by the International Military Industrial Complex and Non-Govenment Organizations anywhere.

The New World Order does not have a chance. One of the most revealing reasons for this is explained by AI himself. Like many of us, we do not have 20+ years inside underground military bases, born by a dutchess, have 5 degrees from MIT. We are just common folk who realized things are not as they seem. We are sick of innocent people dying in false flag operations and their planned agendas that get to be kicked off in the aftermath. We also realize from a historical perspective, the exponential rate of acceleration of these events warrents exposure simply from a perspective of survival.

Thank you so much for your continued contribution to truth, justice, and exposing the criminals with a powerful bright light.

More on (with an extremely damning document to soon follow directly from SAIC):

Dov Zakheim

http://911truth.wetpaint.com/page/Zacheim?t=anon

Most people familiar with the 9/11 cover-up have a fair idea of some of the key players in the monumental 9/11 crime. Rabbi Dov Zakheim, one of the central figures in this vile operation, isn’t as well known because he’s one who has always lurked in the shadows. Zakheim is as powerfulas he is inconspicuous, and a man of many talents:

1.   *Graduate of the prestigious London School of Economics (PhD), and the University of Oxford (National Science Foundation Graduate
Fellow) *

2.   *Former CEO of Systems Planning Corporation, a highly specialized defense technology company that manufactures a one-of-a-kind remote-piloting system for aircraft, including commercial airliners *(see below)

3.   *Senior Fellow for Asian Studies of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) *

4.   *Member of the Task Force on Defense Reform (appointed by Secretary of Defense Cohen) *

5.   *Senior Advisor at the Center for International and Strategic Studies *

6.   *Former Under Secretary of Defense (appointed by George W. Bush)
*
7.   *Comptroller of the Pentagon {see [1] *below for performance
report}

8.   *Pioneer and prime architect of /Project for the New American Century /(PNAC), the neo-con cabal that authored /Rearming America’s Defenses/ (RAD), the bible for American global
domination *[2]

9.   *Author of “/Flight Of The Lavi: Inside A US-Israeli Crisis/”
*(Brassey’s, 1996)

10.   *Long-time Bush associate, having served as a policy advisor to
the governor during the 2000 campaign *

11.   Columnist for /The Jerusalem Post /

12.   Editorial Board member of /Israel Affairs /

13.   *Ordained Rabbi *

14.   Citizen of the State of Israel /[How a citizen of Israel can serve as Comptroller of America’s central defense establishment is a question I shall leave to others for comment. While they ponder this perturbing oddity, perhaps they could also shed light on why every one of the following kingpins of the Bush administration are also Israeli citizens: Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, Michael Chertoff, George Tenet, Elliot Abrams, Donald Kagan, Richard Haas, Kenneth Adelman, Edward Luttwak, Robert Satloff, David Frum, David Wurmser, Steve Goldsmith, and Marc Grossman.] /*/

[1] *”I know Dr. Zakheim has been trying to hire CPAs because the financial systems of the department are so snarled up that we can’t account for some /_$2.6 TRILLION_/ in transactions that exist...”* /-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, during testimony before the House Appropriations Committee: Fiscal Year 2002 Defense Budget Request, as given by Secy. Rumsfeld, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Hugh Shelton, and Comptroller Dov Zakheim; on Monday, July 16, 2001./ [NB: Dr. Zakheim resigned as Pentagon Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer at the beginning of March when it was revealed that the he is unable to account for the disappearance of $2.6 trillion(it’s unlikely this will receive much coverage in the mainstream media).

Zakheim has since taken a lucrative position as a vice president of the mega-consultancy Booz, Allen, & Hamilton (one that also works closely with DARPA). Rabbi Zakheim is also Chief Executive Officer of SPC International Corporation (a subsidiary of the aforementioned remote-flight-control-technology firm), a company that specializes in “political, military, and economic consulting, and international sales and analysis”. In addition, Dr. Zakheim serves as Consultant to the Secretary of Defense and the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. As the Rabbi’s record clearly shows, he has serious tenure in the US defense establishment: more than 30 years of holding assorted senior positions at the Pentagon.]

[2] Dov Zakheim is the co-author of that singularly sinister-and chillingly ominous-statement contained in Rearming America’s Defenses (RAD) re the plan for American global domination [through galvanizing American emotional support for full-scale war against oil-rich Arab states]: *”...**the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, /absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event-like a new Pearl Harbor/”*. The PNAC document also expressly recommends the US should seize Iraq /even if Saddam Hussein were deposed through a military coup/. [So much for bringing “freedom and democracy” to the people of that country.]

*The good Rabbi’s involvement with PNAC, his previous directorship of a corporation that manufactures remote control flight systems, and his inability to document how the Pentagon has spent TRILLIONS of American taxpayers’ dollars suggests that real investigations into the crimes of 9/11 and the US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq would put Mr. Zakheim near the top of the witness list for interrogation and potential prosecution.
*

*SYSTEMS PLANNING CORPORATION
*
Dr. Dov Zakheim was the former CEO of Systems Planning Corporation, a company that designs and manufactures extremely sophisticated control/guidance technology that enables an external operator to fly, and land, aircraft by remote control. One of the company’s principal products is the Command Transmitter System (CTS), a fully redundant, self-contained, solid-state platform capable of providing totally programmable remote flight control capability, including high-precision electronic navigation.

The company’s parallel product, the Flight Termination System (FTS), enables system-equipped aircraft to be safely landed on any suitable runway in the world-regardless of the availability of ground-based navigational or landing aids (VOR, ILS, MLS, etc.).

Such total independence in all flight regimes is achieved through a variety of ultra-sophisticated space-based technologies, including Mil-spec DGPS (Differential GPS, using extremely precise encrypted military “P” Code transmissions), and is accurate to within /one foot/ of the runway centerline during landing.

*The CTS/FTS remote-control system is capable of controlling up to 8 airborne vehicles-including airliners-simultaneously from ground-based or airborne (AWACS) positions.

*/[”Coincidence”: Operation Vigilant Guardian, one of five NORAD “war game exercises” underway on the morning of 9/11 and orchestrated by Dick Cheney, involved the simulated hijacking of commercial airliners. At one point during the exercises, while the four “real” hijacked aircraft were airborne, as many as TWENTY-TWO independent radar blips representing “hijacked” aircraft were simultaneously displayed on FAA radar screens along the Eastern seaboard. This, obviously, created total pandemonium. Air traffic controllers who had been advised beforehand by NORAD of the “simulated hijackings”, began frantically calling NORAD to determine which of the twenty-two targets were “real” and which were “exercise.”

All indications are that whatever it was that happened to the four real “hijacked” airliners occurred during this purposefully orchestrated melee while the order was given for the US Air Force to “stand down”.]/ The CTS/FTS system (subsequently improved, tested and implemented by Raytheon) allows specialist ground controllers to listen-in on cockpit conversations on the target aircraft, then take absolute control of its computerized flight control system by remote means and safely land the aircraft at any airport within range.

In other words, this technology was designed to empower “law enforcement agencies” to hijack hijackers. [NB: The ground station technology for CTS/FTS was developed by Raytheon under an Air Force contract for the Joint Precision Approach and Landings System (JPALS) program. A government-industry team accomplished the first precision approach/auto-land by a civil aircraft using this system on August 25, 2001 at Holloman AFB, NM. A FedEx Express 727-200 aircraft demonstrated hundred percent system proficiency by executing six full auto-lands using the JPALS ground station.]
“*HOME RUN”
*
In partnership with Raytheon, System Planning Corporation also supplies CTS/FTS technology to commercial airplane manufacturers for installation in airliners (Boeing: confirmed; Airbus: undetermined, but highly probable given the consortium’s connection to BAE, a US military contractor.)

It has been reported that DARPA’s codename for the CTS/FTS system was “Home Run”. Former German Secretary of Defense Andreas Von Buelow may have alluded to foreknowledge of Home Run technology in an interview he gave the German daily “Tagesspiegel” on January 13th, 2002:

“There is also the theory of one British flight engineer: according to this, the steering of the planes was perhaps taken out of the pilots’ hands, from outside. The Americans had developed a method in the 1970s, whereby they could rescue hijacked planes by intervening into the computer piloting [automatic pilot system]. This theory says this technique was abused in this case [9/11]...”

Upon deeper scrutiny this may not appear quite so much a “theory” as might first seem. It’s been reported that the German national carrier Lufthansa, seriously concerned that one of its own aircraft might be “rescued” by the Americans without its authority, had every one of its Home Run-equipped Boeing aircraft stripped of the American flight control computers.

It’s reasonable to presume that Herr Von Buelow-the Secretary of Defense and Minister of Science and Technology at the time-would have known all about this mammoth but secretive task (how very clever-and discreet-of Von Buelow to “drop” the information into the middle of an interview about the 9/11 attacks). Lufthansa aircraft (and possibly others) are now effectively impervious to Home Run take-overs, but that is more than can be said for the American aircraft fleet.

In order to make Home Run truly effective, it had to be completely integrated with all onboard systems, and this could only be accomplished with a new aircraft design, several of which were on the drawing boards at that time. Under cover of extreme secrecy, the multinationals and DARPA went ahead on this basis and built “back doors” into the new computerized flight control systems.

There were two very obvious hard requirements at this stage: 1) a primary control channel for use in taking over the flight control system and flying the aircraft back to an airfield of choice, and 2) a covert audio channel for monitoring flight deck conversations. Once the primary channel was activated, all aircraft functions came under direct ground (or AWACS) control, permanently removing the hijackers and pilots from the control loop.

It needs mention that this was not a system designed to “undermine” the authority of the flight crews, but rather, implemented as a “doomsday” device in the event the hijackers began to shoot passengers or crew members, possibly including the pilots. Based on the reasonable assumption that hijackers only carry a limited number of rounds of ammunition, and many modern airliners carry in excess of 300 passengers, Home Run was envisaged as a system that could be used to fly all the survivors to a friendly airport for a safe landing.

*System Activation
*
Activating the primary Home Run channel is reportedly fairly straightforward. A transponder, as many readers know, is a combined radio transmitter and receiver which operates automatically-in the case of 9/11, relaying data between the four aircraft and air traffic controllers on the ground. The transmitted signals represent a unique “identity” for each aircraft, essential in crowded airspace to avoid midair collisions-and equally essential for Home Run controllers trying to lock onto the correct aircraft.

Once the correct target aircraft is located by radar, the Home Run  duplex data bus “piggy backs” the transponder channel and assumes direct control from the ground. *This could explain why NONE of the four aircraft sent the special “I have been hijacked” transponder code (7500), despite multiple activation points for this distress transmission on all four aircraft-and despite being flown by combat-hardened ex-fighter pilots.
*
Because the transponder frequency had already been piggy-backed by Home Run, transmission of the special hijack code was rendered impossible. This was the first hard proof that the target aircraft had been hijacked electronically from the ground, rather than by Arab patsies toting box-cutters.

The Home Run listening device on the flight deck utilizes the cockpit microphones that normally feed the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), one of two black boxes armored to withstand heavy impact and thereby later provide investigators significant clues to why the aircraft crashed.
However, once plugged into Home Run, the CVRs are bypassed, and voice transmissions are no longer recorded on the 30 minute continuous-loop recording tape.

If Home Run is active for more than thirty minutes, there will therefore be no audible data on the Cockpit Voice Recorders. Crash investigators are said to have recovered the CVRs from the Pentagon and Pittsburg aircraft, and publicly confirmed that both are completely blank. The only possible reason for this is data capture by Home Run, providing the final hard proof that the attack aircraft were hijacked electronically from the ground, rather than by “Arab terrorists”.

*Discussion
*
It is not being suggested that remote circumvention and take-over of the four airliners’ controls is definitely what happened on 9/11. But if this scenario seems improbable, one must necessarily consider the probability of four airliners being taken over simultaneously, casually flown around a large swath of the country for almost two hours under the vigilant eye of NORAD, and then used as missiles-all without a single fighter being scrambled to intercept any of them.

Since this is what actually happened, we have no choice but to consider other “implausible” scenarios. And since the official scenario is itself an unsubstantiated-and truly farfetched-“conspiracy theory,” other competing scenarios should also receive serious attention.

The public’s reluctance to question official doctrine on this matter is a symptom of the societal role for which most of us have been bred and trained: to be ever-faithful hounds, tails thumping the floor as we contentedly slurp the hand of class authority. Such credulity also becomes inevitable when the alternative is so unbearable: if someone in Bush’s position is capable of lying to us about something as huge, as gut-wrenchingly horrible as 9/11, then everything we believe about this country-about the nature of civilization itself-might just be childish nonsense.

Most people simply don’t have the guts to go there. Given a desperate enough need to sustain the childish belief in government-as-benevolent-father, a person will adapt that belief to any circumstance. The behavioral end result can resemble courage; indeed, we are taught to regard it as the DEFINITION of courage. Actually, it’s one of cowardice’s darkest moments. Even a casual examination of Nazi Germany, where this phenomenon was rampant, will drive this point home.

It’s almost funny, the way people readily see the threat of technological circumvention presented by Diebold’s electronic voting machines, yet when the subject switches to Systems Planning Corporation’s Flight Termination System, which is every bit as real, and to the exactly parallel possibilities it represents vis-a-vis 9/11, they suddenly retreat into profound and combative denial. It’s as if a threshold has been crossed into a realm of possibilities too vile to entertain, so they simply don’t. Never mind that this country’s operatives have been traveling the world, perpetrating similar horrors, for all of the past century.

Rather than acknowledge the possibility of a unifying pattern, Joe Sixpack would much rather ‘shoot the messenger.’ Every so often, such people establish a new high-water mark for cowardice and facultative stupidity, and the present is definitely one of those times. After all, the official 9/11 scenario they cling to with such desperate faith comes from only one source: the Western “intelligence community”-the most brazen, systematic, resourceful, and interlocked association of habitual liars this world has ever seen.

As should have been made clear by any number of intelligence scandals over the years, the credibility of this bunch goes past zero into the negative: pending airtight proof, anything they say should be reflexively deemed a lie. You may remember that the FBI also provided the identities of “the 19 hijackers” within hours-information that soon also became quite suspect, especially considering there was NOT ONE Arab name on any of the flight manifests (miraculously, they even found paper passports that had survived fireballs, Arabic flight manuals conveniently left in the trunks of cars, etc., etc.)

At least seven of the hijackers are still alive in the Middle East-a pretty good alibi, wouldn’t you say? Several of these ex-suspects had their passports or other IDs stolen from them over the years, and it’s entirely possible that all 19 hijackers had stolen identities, meaning they could have come from anywhere-or been absent altogether. Our media were pretty slack about acknowledging this at the time, and since then have dropped this ball entirely. What’s really amazing is that not one mainstream journalist has asked how these 19 alleged hijackers boarded their aircraft when their names were not on any of the passenger manifests.

Terror Engineering Company: company for the Terror Economy
Enterprise Architecture Lives at Intelligile

AI discussed Intelligile in his interview: the latest incarnation of the PTech code
INTELLIGILE
www.intelligile.com

Here's some info from their website.
(Creepy freaking website; as AI said in the interview, there are no names, no address - only an email link.)

Highlights from Intelligile:

CULTURE

Image used on their 'Culture' section, which describes the type of employees they seek.
The text is same old best and brightest spiel, the eye is remarkable. Right out there.

Note the little wooden guy bowing (to the queen??).... and check out the FIST!  WTF???

PRODUCTS:

Intelligile MAP™
Intelligile MAP which stands for Model, Analyze and Publish, is a comprehensive and powerful modeling solution for developing a complete Electronic Blueprint for an organization. It is the ideal tool to integrate, in one multi-user product, the most elaborate support for Enterprise Architecture, Business Landscape, Strategic Intent, Value chains, Business Processes, Organizational Structures, Knowledge, Skills, Applications, Six Sigma, Business Rules, Value Management, UML2.1, and Information and Technology infrastructures.

Customization Kit
Intelligile makes the same kit used to build its add-on Accelerators available to you. The Kit uses a graphical interface, and does not use any code. Complex Meta-models are defined using the simple graphical interface of drawing a UML2.1 class. Any meta-class available in the KnowledgeBase can be reused and extended. Meta-models support all UML2.1 models in addition to dynamic classification, complete and incomplete partition and intersection, which enable you to define sophisticated meta-models beyond the limitation of UML2.1. Forms can be defined on any meta-concept. A meta-concept can have more than one form and automatically inherit all the forms of its super-class. Forms and queries are defined and built graphically. In short, the Customization Kit provides you with the ability to extend available accelerators and build your-specific one, enabling the adaptation of the tool to your working methodologies and practices which is a highly needed requirement in the Field of Enterprise Architecture. It extends MAP™ modeling environment to support modeling methods beyond those contained in Intelligile MAP™ or the available add-on Accelerators. Your customization can include new modeling concepts, tools, forms, icons and queries; all customized using the same easy user interface.

Why MAP™?
Organizations have to build the capability to quickly respond to market change. The only way to anticipate and understand change is to capture the major components of the organization in an intelligent knowledgebase. MAP is the solution for your organization since you can:

Increase the value of the organization by transforming its knowledge capital into a tangible, retainable and maintainable asset that integrates people, process, costs, and technology.
Increase the effectiveness inside the organization by transforming it into a learning organization.
Enable the organization to respond quickly to customers, political and management demands by aligning functional and technology infrastructure to the business direction.

Intelligile provides MAP™ users with add-on products called Accelerators™.
An Accelerator™ is a targeted, integrated, intelligent and dynamic product used to visually and logically store all of the information entered into a MAP™ model solution, tailored for a specific discipline in the business lifecycle management. Each accelerator is the outstanding outcome of the research and development work combined with world-wide used standards and win-win methodologies to save use time and leverage this gained time to model their companies’ related business elements.

For example: Strategic Planning, Balanced ScoreCard, Six Sigma (Quality Management), Business Process Improvement, IT Architecture, etc... Although an Accelerator™ transforms MAP™ into a targeted solution, you can perform all work that can be done with our enterprise architecture tool because of the high customization ability.

Therefore, you can model, analyze and then generate your intelligent blueprints for every specific discipline. In addition, MAP™ enables you to run more than one accelerator™, giving you the ability to relate all business elements. For example: you can model your strategy and goals and relate them to business processes and enterprise capabilities.

Based on powerful technology that mimics the functionality of a human brain, MAP™ offers an exceptional environment to perform analytics, "what-if" scenarios, Gap analysis, Impact analysis and Custom Analysis. Its fully customizable publishing engine generates a comprehensive and hyperlinked html representation of models, reports and much more. In addition, it can generate output in any desired representation such as Word, SILK, CSV and XML. All this is combined in a very user friendly tool that is designed to help Enterprise Architects, Business and IT Analysts, and Strategic Planners to get the most out of their organization's blueprint. The tool's meta-model is fully accessible and can be extended graphically without a single line of code.

KnowledgeBase Engine
At the heart of Intelligile MAP™ is the powerful intelligent KnowledgeBase engine. Based on a neural net and semantic network design, each element of information is defined by its characteristics and relationships to other objects. Every object, or node in the network, may "refer" to an infinite number of other information nodes. The Kinetic Information Engine, like a brain, is a powerful inference engine that verifies the applicability of all rules as new objects are created. As new rules are added, it ensures that existing objects do not violate these rules.

The information objects in MAP™ can have visual representation and, using MAP™ graphic tools, these objects can be instantiated, populated with their instance-specific information and then linked using graphical tools. These links are retained in the KnowledgeBase and become the basis that MAP™ uses to dynamically generate a complete KB image in a variety of static output formats, including HTML, spreadsheets, documents and XML. Users merely need a standard Web browser to view the generated HTML output, which has fully-linked objects, including graphical models, documentation, diagrams, strategic concepts, and plans.

Report Engine
Intelligile complements its MAP™ technology with a powerful, customizable, and sophisticated publisher that traverses the KnowledgeBase and publishes advanced reports. The expansion-script publisher uses an expansion mechanism to go over the KnowledgeBase and generate output. Using specific built templates, you can generate hyperlinked Web pages that represent the KnowledgeBase. This allows the knowledge to be shared over an Intranet using standard Web browsers. Users can also generate advanced analysis reports to discover gaps, redundancies and dependencies and perform impact analysis or other kinds of analysis.

PRODUCTS: Frameworks

integration, interpretation, development, management, and changing of a set of architectural representations of the organization's information systems."; (Open Group); The Framework, then, can contain global plans as well as technical details, lists and charts as well as natural language statements. Such objects or descriptions of architectural representations are usually referred to as artifacts. Any appropriate approach, standard, role, method, technique, or tool may be placed in it. In fact, the Framework can be viewed as a tool to organize any form of metadata for the enterprise"; (Open Group).

MAP™ provides a commonly accepted classification systems that include people, information, programs, processes and workflow that are useful for guiding the technical work for complex processes. It also provides customization features to create any other Frameworks or own EA Framework.

SOLUTIONS: An eye on the problem
Any observer of the market can realize that the fast and changing technological innovations act as the greatest impact on organizations. This fact affects the business cycle which continuously gets shorter. Today an organization must set its strategy in adherence to the technological innovations in IT (IT mainly supports the Business Processes in an organization) in order to survive and win competition; or else it will end up in misalignment between strategy, processes and capabilities (mainly IT). While strategic planning sets the direction of an organization, no one can assume that this strategy will be fixated for the next five years. It must continuously evolve to respond to the business/market landscape, thus taking advantage of emerging opportunities and responding to external threats. Processes need to be aligned to the evolving strategy, as well as the organization’s capabilities need to be enhanced in order to support the evolving processes. Roles & responsibilities should be driven from evolving business and process architectures.

Beyond enterprise architecture
To establish and maintain alignment, a Dynamic Extended Enterprise Architecture solution must be implemented. This architecture, that relates strategy to processes and supporting capabilities coupled with setting the right organization culture, becomes one of the essential tools of managing change. Enterprise Architecture can no longer be performed in the white space of an organization. We identified nine different areas of Extended Enterprise Architecture: governance, strategy, processes, culture, branding, organization competencies, capabilities, automation and organization project management (OPM). In order to build an effective, intelligent, and agile organization, the nine different disciplines in understanding and acquiring, applying, leveraging and visioning their correspondent area of architecture must mature together to give the organization the maximum benefit.

Maturity model for agile organizations
We identified five levels of enterprises’ maturity: Unfocused, Aware, Capable, Mature & Best-In-Class. Our solution consists of both disciplines and software that enable an organization to reach the level of Best-In-Class maturity over time.

The traditional way of adopting best-of-class and hiring the best consultants will no longer give the required results as the business cycle has shrunk to a level where any set of strategic recommendations becomes obsolete before being able to implement them. One should assume a six-month cycle review of strategy. Without an alignment between discipline and technology, it is very hard to execute on any changing strategy. Bringing people to the level of dealing with this constant change without the right disciplines and tools proved to be fatal.

An Organization that benefits from our solution tends to be intelligent and agile, enabling it to respond faster than its competitor, win in the market place, and grow in an increasing competitive advantage.

Governmental solutions
Governmental agencies and ministries can also benefit from our solution to manage complexity and reduce conflicts in the sectors of Defense and Military, Agriculture, Economics and others. Governments adopting our solution tend to be intelligent, dynamic, agile and more responsive to the changing environment. The solutions we offer are compatible with international frameworks and standards; the defense solution is compatible with the DoDAF architecture framework.

There's SO much information in this interview - listened to it again, and hearing new stuff. I think that it was a terrific format for AI to speak - he was given enough time to delve into subjects, without interruption - I hope corbettreport has time to schedule him for a return interview. He seems to have a lot more info he could cover, and this is a great interview format for him to do that.

I will explain it to you why the hell this is so serious.

The main article below is FROM the AFCEA,  The AFCEA is the organization that either directly "sponsors" or is in some way highly affiliated with one of the guys directly responsible for 9/11, and that was Felix Rausch.  He's the one that installed Ptech on the FAA and NORAD's systems.  The AFCEA is also tied into all of the cyber-security meetings, they have Northcom generals and so forth on their own website, giving a brief description of them regarding their role/background with respect to all these cyber security conferences.

This audio is affiliated with the AFCEA:  http://audio.federalnewsradio.com/fedexfor/fedexfo_102507.wma

It talks about COOP, Continuity of Operations (think NSPD-51).  One of the FEMA heads is in the audio, this is from 2007.  They talk in detail about TELEWORKING, in the context that huge governmental physical infrastructure will be contaminated with bird flu and no one will be able to physically go there to work indefinitely.

Now when I 1st heard this I was like "Get the f**k off".  They can't possibly be THAT insane.  Well, they're dead serious.  The hardcore reality will slam you right in the face when you watch the below video, which says EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS THE AUDIO, AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SOURCES OF INFORMATION, ONE BEING RIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/12599973#12599973

NOW, Combine that with this reaffirmation of THE SAME THING AGAIN (remember I mentioned Juniper networks in my call?  I got that from the AUDIO above, IT IS MENTIONED IN THE AFCEA ARTICLE, BIG COINCIDENCE ISN'T IT?  NOT.:

Agencies Connect Telework and Continuity of Operations
by Rita Boland

A recent study on the status and progress of government agencies for emergency preparedness and continuity of operations has identified telework as a critical piece of the puzzle. Many organizations are encouraging employees to work remotely now in preparation for any major work place disruptions because the experience could prove critical.

Juniper Networks conducted the survey of federal, state and local government agencies—both civilian and defense—in the third quarter of fiscal year 2007. Haywood Talcove, vice president, Public Sector Americas at Juniper, says one major point, or rock as he calls it, of the survey is the importance of telework to continuity of operations (COOP). According to Talcove, the first rock in the Juniper survey is unique because it links telework and COOP. That connection has not been made in the past. “People really look at those as different things,” Talcove states.

However, the study results show that the government is using telework technologies as part of its COOP portfolio. Sixty-two percent of respondents believe that telework is a critical component of agency COOP, with 41 percent saying that all government personnel should telework occasionally as a part of COOP preparation.

Seventy-nine percent of respondents shared that their agency supported some form of telework, although only 28 percent characterized it as routine. Of the 79 percent who reported agency support of telework, 64 percent said that on average, personnel teleworked one day or less per week.

While the use of telework to continue operations in many emergency scenarios is important, it could be the key to maintaining operations during specific emergencies such as a pandemic flu. During this type of crisis, “social distancing” may be mandatory to limit the spread of the disease. Therefore, remote working capabilities are necessary across all levels of an agency. At a mandatory minimum, Talcove says he would want his leadership team and critical employees that are involved in delivering services to citizens to have remote working capabilities.

[INSERT:  DO YOU SEE HOW THIS CONVENIENTLY GIVES THEM THE EXCUSE TO IMMEDIATELY USHER IN INTERNET 2?  THE STAGED BIO WEAPON ATTACK, IS FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY WITH THE STAGED IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNET 2 BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN SEEMINGLY LEGITIMATE EXCUSE TO NEED IT SO DOD EMPLOYEES CAN MAINTAIN CRITICAL C.O.G., CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT, *REMOTELY*.  ONCE THIS IS DONE, IT WILL ALLOW THEM TO FAST TRACK THE NEXT PHASES OF THE GLOBAL INFORMATION GRID TO SOLIDIFY A WORLD POLICE STATE THAT CANNOT BE STOPPED.  THINK OF IT LIKE A Y2K 2.0 ON STEROIDS, CRACK, AND ADRENALINE X 1000.

To prepare for telework during actual crises, agencies must learn what technology is needed and how to use it. Organizations cannot effectively respond to emergencies without being able to access information remotely. By offering the option of regular telework to employees, agencies can determine what technology and security they require, and personnel can become comfortable with the programs.

Tim LeMaster, director of systems engineering for Juniper, explains that if agencies use systems and capabilities regularly, then agencies know how to secure their connections, identifications and other tools they are required to use. Those same mechanisms would generally be used for telework during an emergency as well.

Agencies also can plan for emergency telework scenarios by implementing an In Case of Emergency (ICE) license. According to LeMaster, the license helps organizations to be more prepared for surges beyond the normal capacity of teleworkers. In an emergency, telework numbers could swell from a few hundred to several thousand. LeMaster explains that an ICE license enables agencies to increase what they can physically handle during an emergency. ICE is an only-as-needed solution that allows government agencies to manage sudden demand for remote connectivity by buying licenses that kick in and scale to meet user needs. With the license, agencies save the cost and commitment of a permanent license while remaining compliant with continuity of government requirements.

Also important to telework as part of COOP is practice. Despite government agencies’ belief in the importance of telework, only 40 percent have modified infrastructure to support remote working, and only 32 percent have dedicated resources to modifications. Less than 30 percent of survey respondents telework more than one day per week. Talcove illustrates the problems this deficiency could lead to by putting forth an analogy: What if military personnel are barred from the Pentagon? Thousands of personnel would need connections to telework and continue operations, but the capability would not be available. “We need to be in a position to ensure our government can deliver services to citizens when they’re needed the most,” Talcove states.

Practice assists the technology side as well. It ensures that during an emergency officials can just “flip a switch” so employees can resume operations. By having infrastructure in place and making sure people are training and budgeting for problems, agencies will be better prepared for actual emergencies.

Talcove emphasizes the importance of practice because agencies are better at handling the familiar. So the U.S. Defense Department is good at combating cyberattacks but not as proficient at handling pandemic flu or infrastructure failure. “We’re really good at what we deal with every day,” Talcove says. “We’re not so good at what we don’t deal with on a regular basis.”

I just wrote up and submitted a small article with links to the interview to infowars.com, so we'll see if they post it up for even more people to see!

Good idea - that'll get the interview some well-deserved coverage.

Yeah, I know. And then think about the dumbed-down public, who wouldn't even know where to go for information even if they did have spare time.

Ptech existed at least as far back as 1989, under Associative Design Technology (ADT) which really brings it closer to being able to be directly tied into PROMIS because of the timeframe.  So the company Ptech was named AFTER the software that had that name a full 4-5 years before ADT's CEO Ziade created it (he was the CEO of both companies).

FBI Raids Software Firm for al-Qaeda Ties
Ptech clients include U.S. governmental agencies, NATO, IBM, and FBI itself.

Scarlet Pruitt and Paul Roberts, IDG News Service

U.S. government investigators have raided a Quincy, Massachusetts, software firm with alleged ties to the al-Qaeda terrorist network, according to Paul Bresson, an FBI spokesperson.

Ptech, which counts as clients sensitive U.S. government bodies such as the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Naval Air Systems Command, is believed to be secretly owned by Saudi millionaire Qassin al-Kadi, according to a report published on Abcnews.com, which called him one of 12 Saudi businessmen accused of funneling millions of dollars to al-Qaeda. The firm, which is privy to top-secret U.S. government information, is allegedly under investigation for similar funding of al-Qaeda. The company's Web site also lists the Federal Aviation Administration, NATO, and the FBI itself as customers.

Bresson would not comment on the details of the Thursday night raid, which was carried out by customs agents and coordinated by the White House, according to reports. He said Ptech was informed of the government's intention to search its offices and consented to the procedure.

Multiple phone calls to the Ptech offices were not returned.

Company Profile

Ptech was founded in 1994 by its current chair and chief executive officer, Oussama Ziadé, along with James Cerrato, the company's chief product officer, and Hussein Ibrahim, its vice president and chief scientist.

Ziadé holds a Masters degree in science and software engineering and is said to have "participated in the Ph.D. program in high energy physics" at Harvard University, according to the Ptech Web site.

The company provides so-called "knowledge management" software and services that enable managers at large organizations to visualize complex business organizations and formulate strategies, according to Ptech.

The company's products include KnowledgeBase, a central repository that captures, links, and visually depicts relationships between a company's business strategies and its capabilities. It also markets analysis and reporting tools that allow customers to test different business scenarios.

According to the company's Web site, Ziadé has raised over $20 million in investment for the privately held company.

High-Profile Clients

In addition to its links to the federal government, the company also has high-profile business partners, including management consulting firm Booz-Allen & Hamilton and IBM.

When asked Friday about investigators' raid of Ptech and the firm's alleged link with al Qaeda, IBM spokesperson Jeff Gluck said the company is "surprised."

"If called upon by officials, we will cooperate," Gluck said. However, he adds that IBM had no knowledge of the allegations.

According to a report published by Abcnews.com Friday, the probe has recently been given the highest priority inside the U.S. government, and agents have been secretly searching the company's software for any bugs or back doors that would make it easier for terrorists to hack.

However, reports later in the day indicated that no arrests were made in the raid and that the software was deemed safe.

Checking Their Work

Still, news of the investigation prompted the House of Representatives to perform an internal review of its Ptech software, said Representative Bob Ney, a Republican from Ohio.

According to Ney, the House contacted its Inspector General, who talked to several employees and examined the House's computer systems. The inspector felt confident after the review that the systems were safe.

The software work that Ptech performed for the House was minimal and did not give them access to sensitive information, Ney said.

Ney could not confirm the status of the government's investigation into the software firm.

Know Thy Enemy

(Washington, D.C.): In the dark of night late last week, federal agents raided a Boston-based software firm called Ptech, Inc. What is worrisome is not simply that this company's management of classified information for a stunning array of the U.S. government's most sensitive agencies -- including the FBI, Pentagon, Department of Energy, Federal Aviation Administration and Internal Revenue Service -- represents potentially a first-order cyber Achilles' heel. Since two of the principal backers of Ptech have been tied to the financing of international terrorism and "several employees already are under scrutiny for alleged terrorist ties," according to the Wall Street Journal, there is concern that this vulnerability could be exploited by our enemies, perhaps with devastating effect.

Who's Ptech?

The raid was prompted specifically by fears that data made available to Ptech, for example as part of its development of a Military Information Architecture Accelerator for the Defense Department, might have been compromised since the company received substantial financing from Qassin al-Kadi and M. Yaqub Mirza. According to press accounts, the former is a Saudi national suspected by the U.S. government of funneling funds to al Qaeda. The latter is a Pakistani immigrant who reportedly controls "a web of businesses and charities in Northern Virginia raided by anti-terror investigators in March" and is believed to have provided money to the terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad, as well as al Qaeda.

To be sure, within hours of the raid, the new Department of Homeland Security's Secretary-designate, Tom Ridge, and other spokesmen dismissed the possibility that Ptech compromised secret information entrusted to it. Gov. Ridge told the press: "[Ptech] has been scrutinized by the best and poses no strategic threat or operational threat to this country. The software in no way jeopardizes the security of our country."

Not So Fast

Yet, experts in and out of government take a decidedly less sanguine view. On December 8, the Boston Globe quoted former FBI counter-terrorism official William Gavin as saying that the government could "never be 100 percent sure" of the security of computer systems purchased from private firms. "Common knowledge has taught people that sometimes there's a way around the firewall that wasn't thought of at the time it was created. There are folks who look at this stuff six weeks from Sunday to make sure there's no trap doors in the software to let people in to get information -- but there's always the risk of that problem.''

Other reports cite unnamed officials as expressing suspicions that "back doors" may have been built into Ptech software that could enable terrorists to access federal computers. As one put it recently to the Associated Press, "The question is whether there is a potential for U.S. government computer systems being compromised. For example, does the software company have the ability to access computer systems using knowledge of the software?"

Another former FBI terrorism expert, David Cid, told Fox News: "What we have to do now is a damage assessment of what computer systems and software may have been compromised to prevent further loss....Even the most innocent of information can be exploited." He noted, for instance, that in the hands of a knowledgeable enemy, even such seemingly mundane information as how many FBI employees are taking time-off during the Christmas holidays can be useful."

What Are We Up Against?

Mr. Cid made one other, still more trenchant observation: "I think [the Ptech case] reminds us of the sophistication and reach of our adversary."

This is a point that certainly was lost on the Clinton Administration. As Jerry Guidera and Glenn Simpson reported in the Wall Street Journal, General Services Administration records indicate that "a Clinton Administration government-efficiency improvement effort" allowed Ptech to receive the U.S. government seal of approval in 1997 to market its services to "all legislative, judicial, and executive branches of the federal government." The Clinton team also gave Ptech the necessary security clearances to work on "sensitive projects" like the Military Information Architecture Accelerator.

Unfortunately, it is not clear whether, even now, the Bush Administration any more fully comprehends the "sophistication and reach of our adversary." For example, it appears that efforts being made to recruit footsoldiers for jihadist causes in America's prisons and military have yet to be terminated. Similar recruitment and indoctrination programs being mounted on over five hundred U.S. college campuses and in as many as 80% of the mosques in this country are evidently also continuing apace.

Even the White House and Cabinet departments are not beyond the sophisticated reach of our adversaries as representatives of organizations -- some funded by Mr. Mirza -- that defend, support and/or agitate on behalf of terrorists and their friends are regularly given access to the President and his senior subordinates. It is unclear whether such political influence operations are contributing to Mr. Bush's repeated characterization of Islam as a "religion of peace" and Saudi Arabia as a good and reliable ally, or whether these sentiments simply help explain why the operations are succeeding in legitimating ethnic, religious and/or political entities whose true purposes and funding sources may be every bit as problematic as Ptech's. .

The Bottom Line

It can only be hoped that the raid on the software house in Boston last week will be the beginning of a far more rigorous effort by the Bush Administration to comprehend and address the full dimensions -- and import -- of our enemies' efforts to penetrate and destroy this nation. Doing so may risk embarrassment and perhaps even political costs; doing otherwise, however, risks jeopardizing our security and way of life.

James Martin and James J Odell are not the best known 'OO Gurus', but they are among the more lucid writers in the field. Their books tend to show great insight, especially when they stray from beaten track of 'standard' OO technology.

Their modelling notation shows great insight into the real problems that arise once you move beyond simple examples. With its base firmly in set theory, it allows clear, rigorous modelling without forcing mathematical notations. However, the diagrams are not the main focus of the book. Instead, it provides an overview of a diverse range of topics relevant to software engineering in general, though OO software is especially targeted. It covers such exotic (for a book labelled 'Object-Oriented') topics as Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic and Genetic Algorithms, although only at a very superficial level. As would be expected, both Object-Oriented Analysis and Design feature strongly. More importantly, the authors devote a large proportion of the book to management techniques, especially focusing on integrating users and domain experts into the development process. The last part of the book focuses on methodologies and what the authors call 'Method Engineering'. Essentially, this is a computer aided process that allows the creation of methodologies that are customised for the project and its environment.

One small criticism perhaps is their oversimplified treatment of design patterns (or 'templates' as they call them). The authors also seem to have a lot of faith in CASE and CAME. My personal--limited--experience does not bear out this optimism for case tools.

Object-Oriented Methods is squarely aimed at managers--you will not find code snippets here. However, even experienced managers of OO projects should find a fresh perspective in the book. Not necessarily one of the great classics of software engineering, but a thought-provoking, practical read which covers a lot of ground.

Just got through reading the transcript.

Great job Mark.
And thanks to The Scribbler for taking the time to put that in writing.

Every time we pass information like this along we are helping to insure that the NWO and their plans will fail miserbly. I also sincerely hope Indira Singh listens to what Mark has to say. I'm convinced that the two of them could carry this investigation to the next level, not that Mark isn't doing a fine job his own self. It would just be real interesting to see where that could lead. I'd like to think it would lead to charges being filed.

Indira Singh was always our "dream" guest on "Piercing The Darkness". Wish we could do that again, even if it is just once a week.
