My son and I were on business in  the Midwest and noticed that every highway project in Illinois had signs that the money came from the TARP funds, COURTESY OOF OBAMA.

The funny thing about it all is that we didn't see any signs like that in Indiana, Ohio or West Virginia.

The people of Illinois are still being duped by Obama/Emanuel.  These projects are for votes and not to really do any good.

The TARP funds funded work on highway 34 east of Burlington, Iowa in Illinois.  My son calls it one of the worst roads in America.  They just put patches of asphalt in potholes when they should have resurfaced the entire road.  YOUR MONEY AT WORK!

I'm from Illinois and I can attest that when you hear about the roads in Illinois being the worst in America...it's very, very true. There is ALWAYS some kind of construction going on whether it be on big interstates or regular roads like War Memorial Rd. in Peoria, Illinois.  Just coming to work everyday I go through 3 delays due to construction.

Illinois is TIGHTLY controlled, my friend. Those construction zones bring in all kinds of money due to speeding tickets in construction zones (I recently got pulled over and asked the cop what road in Illinois WASN'T in construction).  Those Unions make a ton of money because IDOT keeps them very busy....as long as they keep pumping money into the pockets of the Big Chicago Political Machine in the form of donations for campiagns.

I would also ask that the next time you are traveling to take a look at the amount of police (state, county, village) you see. My grandparents always say that when they drive home from Florida every Spring you rarely see a cop on the interstate...until you hit Illinois. Police pop out of the woodwork pulling every one they can over.

This state is run by Chicago and the idiots involved with Big Chicago Politics. We don't stand a chance. Those of us south of Chicago just bend over and take it. There's literally nothing we can do. Even with all the scandal which you'd think would weaken Chicago Politics...there's just nothing we can do.
