Thought I would write a tiny web page program to calculate the "name of the beast"
There is more than one translation, different people convert the letters to numbers by different methods. I would like my calculator to use different methods.
Could anyone provide links to these different germatia methods ? Is some one expert on this subject ?
My first attempt uses adding 6, the number of man to the english latin alphabet.
A=6 B=12 C=18 .... Z=156

Minor bug fixes
Still working now and then on version two which will use the above table. That will take 3 names, first, middle, and lastname each of which will be reduced to a single digit, if I can figure it out.

Version 2
Second alternative 'pagan' method introduced, requires a 3 part name
Example : "KARL VON HABSBURG"
At present it spits out a lot of the "workings out" to make error checking easier. I might have made a mistake, if you do spot a mistake please let me know.
Also if you know of a 3rd Alternative Method, please let me know and I will try and add.

Well its good at myth busting, I've heard so many times that X politician name adds up to 666, but the calculator tells the truth and shows the "workings out".
Example BUSH does not give 6

The answer should stand out better, maybe a different color or something. It is hard to distinguish from the headers.

Its fun to play with words. http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=210491.0I was messing around with different shit like this a while ago... Words have crazy ways of pointing to things sometimes... the September eleventh scramble kinda spooked me out that day when i noticed "tremble sheep event" could be spelled using its letters.
