thats the biggest bunch of bullshit theyve thrown at us yet...  Its a fact that the internet is faster than  its ever been.   10 years ago it'd take several minutes to wait for just one page to load up.  Now it takes not even a second and I only have comcast... there are far faster providers they can use instead.  Whats the point of even pretending to fight for Americans if all its going to is cause us inconvince.  What is this divide and conquer???  The only Americans retarted enough to give up these online social networks are the americans who are too stupid f**king to turn on a computer and probily have suranwrap over all the windows and doors.  Freedom of speech and the press is retarted if there isn't anywhere to use it.  Isn't the army supposto defend us...  not take away things that we enjoy using.  This country is an embarsement to the term Freedom.  Is this a scam to push us towards only getting our news from the Lieing Box??

The ONLY place this article exists online is at military.com. Every link I've followed takes me there and guess what? They're updating their site and the article is apparently unavailable. I get taken to a sign up page and I am not interested in joining.

MILITARY.COM IS CURRENTLY BEING UPDATED...
Military.com, the trusted source for military community, news, information and history, is adding new functionality to serve you better. We appreciate your patience. Please check back with us soon!

Thanks.

The Pentagon can only "yank" stuff from the military. Seems like the article was written to purposely mislead.

Quote
Pentagon officials are standing behind their decision to yank access to YouTube, MySpace and other social websites, saying the websites hog bandwidth and sometimes pose security risks.

That's the opening statement. Nearly all the following info mentions pentagon, DOD, or one of their talking heads. It's all about hiding the truth from the military so they stay in line. It's all about control. Hard to control what they see while they're home on leave.

I don't think so because they already blocked myspace to the military in may so why would they block it from them again???

That's what I mean. The article doesn't make sense to me it seems to be disinfo because I find it nowhere else but military.com
