I say good for David Scott. Be sure to watch the second, complete version of the video where the entire exchange is shown. He's right to give that effeminate bertish looking character a stern talking to. Not all physicians, but many are in bed with insurance companies and want a guarantee of continued high reimbursement rates. This is one reason why some Drs only work 6 hour days 3 days a week. To a degree big insurance has turned on a lot these guys (this is why many physicians support reform) but many are still riding the gravy train and don't want that upset. Frankly, the government is already involved in healthcare in a big way but what they've been doing for 50 years is the usual privatization of profit and socialization of cost/failure. The exact same thing that we just saw with the TARP package. Most of the "protesters" have been duped into supporting the status quo.
