General Electric Loves To Poison Children Results of EPA Air Sampling at Allendale School Released http://yosemite.epa.gov/opa/admpress.nsf/a4a961970f783d3a85257359003d480d/93e6d85d738b9ca4852570d7007b0a31!OpenDocument Release date: 12/14/2005 Contact Information: Contact: David Deegan, 617-918-1017 (Pittsfield, Mass.) - As part of ongoing efforts to ensure the protection of public health while continuing the clean up efforts in Pittsfield, EPA today released the results of air samples collected from the Allendale School playground on Dec. 6th and 7th. The air samples, which were collected over a 24-hour period last week, show only minimal traces of PCBs in the air at the school, far below levels that would trigger EPA concerns about the health of children or the public at large. PCBs were not detected in two of the samples; a third sample revealed 0.0004 ug/m3. “This newest data confirms that not only the soil, but also air in the schoolyard is not posing significant risks to children,” said Robert Varney, regional administrator of EPA’s New England office. “EPA is going to continue collecting air samples from the school property over the next several weeks to ensure that we have the best available information on whether children or people who work at the school are at risk.” Two air sampling locations were selected at the schoolyard. One sampling location had two air monitors, while the third monitor was placed at the second location, resulting in a total of three samples taken. No detectable PCBs above the laboratory detection limit of 0.0003 ug/m3 were found in two of the samples. The third sample contained only traces of PCBs measured at 0.0004 ug/m3, which is barely above the detection level. Since meeting with school teachers and parents in early October, EPA has directed GE to increase the frequency of air monitoring at the perimeter of the “On Plant Consolidation Areas” (OPCAs) near the school. EPA has collected air samples from the school grounds to determine if there were any significant emissions migrating towards the school. EPA has also assigned a full-time staff person to the project team to oversee the day-to-day OPCA activities. In related work, in late November, 20 soil samples were collected within the top three inches from the surface of the ground at nineteen locations on the schoolyard. Data released last week showed that although very low levels of PCBs were detected in two of the twenty samples, the concentrations were more than twenty times lower then the maximum level of 2 ppm (part per million) which the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MADEP) has established as acceptable for soil at residential properties. To build upon the positive results, EPA continues to work aggressively with local and state officials, GE, and the community to evaluate practices at the OPCAs that will ensure that the best protection measures are employed. EPA is also working in close coordination with the MADEP, which will be sampling the crawl space beneath the school later this month. The OPCAs were agreed to as part of the Consent Decree entered into by the federal and state governments, the City of Pittsfield, GE and the Pittsfield Economic Development Authority in 2000. The Consent Decree allows for three OPCAs at the facility. These include the pre-existing Hill 78 disposal area and the Building 71 location which together comprise a ten-acre area. GE has been placing materials in the Hill 78 OPCA since 1999, beginning with over 40,000 cubic yards of soil removed during the remediation of the Allendale School playground. GE has been placing material in the Building 71 approved lined landfill since 2000. A third 1.6 acre OPCA located at the intersection of Merrill Road and New York Avenue is allowed for under the Consent Decree, however, GE has not yet proposed to use this area. As EPA continues to collect additional data to determine whether there are other health concerns at the Allendale School, the Agency will post new data at: http://www.epa.gov/ne/ge . http://www.epa.gov/region1/ge/thesite/allendale/reports/6931.pdf

Media is conditioning us to accept concentration camps in America:

General Electric owns much of the the Security and medical operations equipment contracts for the over 800 US Concentration Camps and the propaganda that will be used to assist in forcing varous racial groups into these death camps. MSNBC, owned by GE who also owns a large share of The History Channel, runs 8 hours a day of programming on what life is like in prison. The point of the multiple documentaries to be aired for 8 hours every day it to allow the viewer to assimilate with the conditions in a concentration camp. They show the priisoners having individuality and coping successfully with prison life. They show how they can still develop relationships, still get an education, develop cliques, etc. The whole point of this is a contracted psyops programming so that when they throw you and your family into the concentration camps, you will feel like it is normal after watching 8 hours a day of it. Out of all the MSNBC Documentaries, Lock Up comprises of an overwhelming majority of their production costs and scheduling. Now lockup may be an ok program, but 20 full documentaries is not meant to learn about the issues of prisons. These psyops videos are used to condition us. GE has a direct conflict of interest to reveal the truth about continuity of government, the current recession, false flag terrorism, who are the best statesmen running for president and of course...9/11. The recession, the devaluation of the dollar, the fake war on terrorism (most importantly the lies about 9/11), and the disinformation about who the true presidential candidates are being used to get us into martial law and GE/MSNBC owns the propaganda and many of the security contracts for that martial law. So if GE actually told the truth about 9/11, they would have most of their funds cut. It is a simple matter of fascist elitests v. the American people and the victims (which everyone now is). http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036750/ Here is a sample of all the lockup shows they have (odd for a 24 hours "news" channel): Lockup: Indiana Lockup: Alaska Lockup: Holman

IBM and GE's Interlogix business unit announced a joint agreement Friday to provide integrated computer- and physical-security systems to large customers. Under the terms of the agreement, GE Interlogix will integrate its security software with IBM's enterprise management and application server software to create systems meant to protect computer networks, buildings and employees. An example of a possible project under the agreement would be an integrated security network in which employees' facility key cards are linked to the passwords on computer systems. Customers would benefit through increased security and lowered overhead, according to Ray Blair, vice president of business development at IBM Global Services. "Say one person 'badges-out' of a facility and 10 minutes later someone else tries to access a computer system using that person's password. Immediately alarms would go off," Blair said. "By integrating physical security with IT security tools you get a whole new level of protection." IBM reported that the partnership would combine human resource systems and facilities management applications with physical security assets such as badge readers and intrusion and surveillance systems. The system would also link to "logical security capabilities," including single sign-on protection through smart cards, Blair said. Blair said IBM and GE Interlogix have been working together for years to build internal security systems for their own companies and only recently decided to market their work to users. The companies estimate they have saved as much as 80 percent of the time and money they previously spent performing now-redundant security tasks, according to Blair. Other potential applications could include facial recognition systems that identify when someone has illegally gained access to a secure facility, or radio frequency identification (RFID) tags inserted into laptop computers to track equipment movement around facilities, he said. IBM will be responsible for providing IT security services and application integration for customers, and it will work with network partners to help customers integrate their information technology infrastructure and back-office systems. IBM will also handle overall project management when requested, the companies said. Blair said the partnership is non-exclusive, allowing both companies the freedom to work with other vendors on similar projects. It will also let them maintain an open-systems architecture. Under the deal, GE Interlogix will integrate its Facility Commander security integration software with IBM's Tivoli enterprise management software--including Tivoli Risk Manager and Tivoli Enterprise Console--and its WebSphere server software. GE Interlogix will also support IBM Directory Integrator and IBM DB2 database, IBM said. IBM reported that it also plans to incorporate its IBM Tivoli Access Manager and IBM Tivoli Identity Manager into other GE products to integrate and automate identity management businesses processes with physical security practices.

General Electric and the Extermination of 6 million Jews http://www.aracnet.com/~gdy52150/1930sp3.html...One of the necessary war materials needed that was hamstrung by these cartel agreements was carboloy or cemented tungsten carbide. Carboloy’s abrasive properties were vital in the machining of hardened steel products. Without it, parts for tanks and other instruments of war were next to impossible to machine. General Electric held the patent along with a cartel agreement with Krupp that limited the production and restricted sales.
As soon as General Electric cemented its deal with Krupp the price of tungsten carbide jumped from $48 a pound to $453 a pound. With its cartel agreement in place with Krupp, General Electric used its position to buy out or cripple domestic competition in the abrasive market. General Electric paid royalties to Krupp on every pound of carboloy produced. Not only did this arrangement inform the Nazis of how much carboloy was being used during America's build up for war, but also the royalties, in effect ended up in Hitler's war chest.
In September 1940, the agreement came to a halt when two federal anti-trust indictments were returned against General Electric and Krupp subsequent to a complaint by the Firth-Sterling Steel Co. The Firth-Sterling Steel Co had run afoul of General Electric's price levels as it sought to sell shell turning blanks to the U.S. Army. The Senate Committee on Military Affairs was outraged at how the cartel agreement hindered war production. The General Electric-Krupp cartel had created a bottleneck in production. There was no domestic production since General Electric had driven them out of business. Even if sufficient quantities were available more time would be lost in retooling plants and training workmen to use the new tooling properly.
On January 26, 1947, the trial of General Electric resumed in New York City. Under indictment were GE Vice President Zay Jeffries, President W.G. Robbins of the Carboloy Co., and Walter M. Stearns, former GE trade manager and Gustav Krupp. Krupp was not present as he was being held in Germany for war crimes. Ironically during the trial Jeffries accused union leaders as having "un-American objectives" and denounced high wages.
Throughout the trial General Electric's lawyers fought bitterly against the introduction of captured Nazi documents. In one such document Walter Stearns was quoted as telling the Germans that while GE intended to fix prices, "this must never be expressed in the contract itself or in any correspondence which might come into the files of GE." Other documents quoted Jefferies threatening the president of a competitor: "We’ll either buy you out or break you." The jury found that General Electric, its subsidiaries, and company officials were guilty on five counts of criminal conspiracy. Ironically, no further charges---such as sedition or hindering the war effort were leveled against the conspirators. Despite pleads from the Department of Justice for heavy sentences; Judge John C. Knox handed down only minor fines. Stearns and Jeffries were fined $2,500 each and Robbins $1,000. GE and Carboloy were fined $20,000 each and International General Electric only $10,000.
The fine for General Electric was particularly lax considering the firm had made millions on carboloy. In fact, in 1935 and 1936, General Electric's subsidiary that manufactured and sold carboloy made a profit of $694,000 in just those two years. The newspapers of the time failed to cover the trial and the convictions. Nevertheless, the newspapers found plenty of space on their front pages to cover General Electric's charges that UE members employed at atomic energy facilities were potential security risks. The union's UE News was the only paper to report on the trial and convictions. Once again the rich and powerful escaped from justice with a mere slap on the wrist.
The Aluminum Corporation had an agreement with I.G. Farben, which restricted production of aluminum and magnesium, which hindered the building of fighters and bombers. The record from that era makes it clear, corporate America was doing its damnest to sabotage the war effort. A recent article in the press now states that at least 300 corporations were doing business with the Nazis during the war.39

Media Conglomerates, MIC, Big Government, and the descendents of Goebbels http://911exposed.org/Media/Mediagovernment.htm The Influence of [a Corporatistic] Government over Free Speech "Look, if you think any American official is going to tell you the truth, then you're stupid. Did you hear that? - stupid." -- Arthur Sylvester, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs
Government Employees in PR Training to effectively approach and pitch the media Government Influence on Media (Research from Business and Society Review 111:1 55–66 Mike Sibley and Gina Nadas [pdf) Government officials have a number of ways to influence media content :- The media are dependent upon officials for the largest amount of source material
- The US government provides a number of subsidies to media companies
- The government protects media companies from foreign or domestic attack
- Officials woo journalists who are compliant
- Officials can withhold information
- Officials can censor—especially during wartime
Government subsidies media in many ways:- Newspaper delivery rules
- Third class postal rates
- Special merger rules
- Public broadcasting subsidies
- Spectrum allocation
- “According to official sources . . .”
- News organizations depend on official sources for their raw materials and interpretations of events
- Must ‘fill in the white space between the ads’ Backgrounding
- Quotes
- “Exclusives”
- White papers
Government controls access:- During war, who is in ‘embedded’?
- Army control over where they go, who they talk to, what they say, to some extent
- Press releases
- Press conferences
- Who gets called on?
- Who isn’t invited back?
- Press passes
- Official meetings
- Air Force One, etc.
- What organizations are considered the ‘press’?
President vs. Congress (the administration has much greater control over sources of information than Congress does):- Loyalty to the president
- Hand-picked assistants
- Can remove any leak from inner circle
- President is ultimate news source
- No alternative for journalists to turn to
- Physical access of journalists controlled (White House, Pentagon, State, etc.)
- Modern focus on, fascination with, president
- Use press as a weapon against opposition
- Trial balloons “off the record”
- Exploiting Journalists with Incentives to advance Government Agenda:
- Career motivations
- Journalists get ahead by getting “scoops” and inside information
- Government officials can use this to control press behavior
Media ownership: - Media owners tend to be more conservative than journalists
- Media owners are interested in the business climate of the country
- “longer range” view
- Have at times been called upon to keep a story out of the public eye
- National security
- Inappropriate
- Political favor
Direct Instruments used by authoritarian governments to influence the media include: (1) Ownership of media firms by political elite, (2) Control of resources used by the media, (3) Taxes on circulation and value-added taxes on newsprint and advertising, (4) Extensive government advertising, (5) Bribes, (6) Censorship, (7) Intimidation, including threat of prosecution, and (8) Volence or the threat of violence. These instruments are of two basic types: (a) Coercive actions designed to force compliance, and (b) Financial incentives designed to induce compliance. Modern U.S. Government propaganda devised from Nazi masterminds- The aim of propaganda is to influence people's opinions or behaviors actively, rather than merely to communicate the facts about something. An appeal to one's emotions is, perhaps, the more obvious propaganda method, but there are varied other more subtle and insidious forms. A common characteristic of propaganda is volume (in the sense of a large amount). For example, propaganda might be used to garner either support or disapproval of a certain position, rather than to simply present the position, or to try to convince people to buy something, rather than to simply let them know there is some thing on the market. What separates propaganda from "normal" communication is in ways by which the message attempts to shape opinion or behavior, which are often subtle and insidious among other characteristics. Individually propaganda functions as self-deception. Propaganda is a particularly effective weapon during or leading up to war. In this case its aim is usually to dehumanize and create hatred toward a supposed enemy, either internal or external. The technique is to create a false image in the mind. This can be done by using special words, special avoidance of words or by saying that the enemy is responsible for certain things he never did. Most propaganda wars require the home population to feel the enemy has inflicted an injustice, which may be fictitious. The object is to garner support from the population for a war effort that might normally be less enthusiastically supported. Propaganda is also one of the methods used in psychological warfare (PSYOPS) — which also involve false flag operations. The US mass media “reports”, the style, content and especially the language, echo their Nazi predecessors of 70 years ago to an uncanny degree. Coincidence... In both instances we have imperialist armies conquering countries, leveling cities and slaughtering civilians. Both in Nazi Germany and contemporary US, we are told by the mass media that the invading armies are “liberating the country” and "spreading democracy". The enemy are foreigners, insurgents, or al Qaeda. But never are we told that the Iraqis despise the U.S. invaders. Are they not fighting to be a free people? Almost the entire population of non-Kurdish Iraq is opposed to the US military and its puppet regime — yet the media refer to those defending their country from the imperial invaders as “insurgents”, minimizing the significance of a nationwide force of freedom fighters. We are told that the mounting causalities are a result of civil war and sectarian violence, despite that the puppet police units are the main target of these attacks. Like the Nazi media, the major US radio and TV networks report that “freeing the city of insurgents” includes the systematic murder of friends, neighbors and relatives. And, “securing the city for free elections” means terror bombing homes, hospitals and religious buildings by hundreds of jets, missiles, and helicopter gunships. Why do Washington and the mass media resort to these tactics? Answer: to galvanize support with the U.S. population in order to wage a "war of terror" on Iraqis — forcing them into submission while large energy corporation suck their country's oil supply dry. The technique perfected by Goebbels in Germany and practiced in the US is to repeat lies and euphemisms until they become accepted “truths”, and become embedded into everyday language. Goebbels was behind the propaganda for Nazi Germany Below are some propaganda points based upon "Goebbels' Principles of Propaganda" by Leonard W. Doob 1. Propagandist must have access to intelligence concerning events and public opinion. 2. Propaganda must be planned and executed by only one authority. a. It must issue all the propaganda directives b. It must explain propaganda directives to important officials and maintain their morale c. It must oversee other agencies' activities which have propaganda consequences 3. The propaganda consequences of an action must be considered in planning that action. 4. Propaganda must affect the enemy's policy and action. a. By suppressing propagandistically desirable material which can provide the enemy with useful intelligence b. By openly disseminating propaganda whose content or tone causes the enemy to draw the desired conclusions c. By goading the enemy into revealing vital information about himself d. By making no reference to a desired enemy activity when any reference would discredit that activity 5. Declassified, operational information must be available to implement a propaganda campaign 6. To be perceived, propaganda must evoke the interest of an audience and must be transmitted through an attention-getting communications medium. 7. Credibility alone must determine whether propaganda output should be true or false. 8. The purpose, content and effectiveness of enemy propaganda; the strength and effects of an expose; and the nature of current propaganda campaigns determine whether enemy propaganda should be ignored or refuted. 9. Credibility, intelligence, and the possible effects of communicating determine whether propaganda materials should be censored. 10. Material from enemy propaganda may be utilized in operations when it helps diminish that enemy's prestige or lends support to the propagandist's own objective. 11. Black rather than white propaganda may be employed when the latter is less credible or produces undesirable effects. 12. Propaganda may be facilitated by leaders with prestige. 13. Propaganda must be carefully timed. a. The communication must reach the audience ahead of competing propaganda. b. A propaganda campaign must begin at the optimum moment c. A propaganda theme must be repeated, but not beyond some point of diminishing effectiveness 14. Propaganda must label events and people with distinctive phrases or slogans. a. They must evoke desired responses which the audience previously possesses b. They must be capable of being easily learned c. They must be utilized again and again, but only in appropriate situations d. They must be boomerang-proof 15. Propaganda to the home front must prevent the raising of false hopes which can be blasted by future events. 16. Propaganda to the home front must create an optimum anxiety level. a. Propaganda must reinforce anxiety concerning the consequences of defeat b. Propaganda must diminish anxiety (other than concerning the consequences of defeat) which is too high and which cannot be reduced by people themselves 17. Propaganda to the home front must diminish the impact of frustration. a. Inevitable frustrations must be anticipated b. Inevitable frustrations must be placed in perspective 18. Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the targets for hatred. 19. Propaganda cannot immediately affect strong counter-tendencies; instead it must offer some form of action or diversion, or both. ][Note: An intelligent person armed with the knowledge of how propaganda works can easily pick up these techniques being used upon the masses. Once you figure it out, you will be amazed at how often you are being attacked by it. It's worse than you think...]

They just continue to pump masive amounts of info to overload the system. Here is the agenda for a successful propaganda campaign to subdue millions from a top KGB whistleblower: Soviet Deception: Demoralization of the West
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=915448763957391352Of course the KGB learned it from Rockefeller/Rothschild agents. Now Rockefeller/Rothschild are conducting these campaigns on Americans directly without the KGB middlemen. ============= http://www.prisonplanet.com/analysis_louise_01_03_03_mockingbird.htmlOperation Mockingbird: CIA Media Manipulation By Mary Louise The CIA's secret activities, covert missions, and connections of control are all done under the pretense and protection of national security with no accountability whatsoever, at least in their minds. Considering the public is held accountable for everything we think, say, and do there is something seriously wrong with this picture. The CIA is the President's secret army, who have been and continue to be conveniently above the law with unlimited power and authority, to conduct a reign of terror around the globe. The "old boy network" of socializing, talking shop, and tapping each other for favors outside the halls of government made it inevitable that the CIA and Corporate America would become allies, thus the systematic infiltration and takeover of the media. Under the guise of 'American' objectives and lack of congressional oversight, the CIA accomplish their exploits by using every trick in the book (and they know quite a few) that they actually teach in the notorious "School of the Americas", nicknamed the "School of Dictators" and "School of Assassins" by critics. The Association for Responsible Dissent estimates that 6 million people had died by 1987 as a result of CIA covert operations, called an "American Holocaust" by former State Department official William Blum. In 1948, the CIA recreated its covert action wing called the Office of Policy Coordination with Wall Street lawyer Frank Wisner as its first director. Another early elitist who served as Director of the CIA from 1953 to 1961 was Allen Dulles, a senior partner at the Wall Street firm of Sullivan and Cromwell, which represented the Rockefeller empire and other trusts, corporations, and cartels. Starting in the early days of the Cold War (late 40's), the CIA began a secret project called Operation Mockingbird, with the intent of buying influence behind the scenes at major media outlets and putting reporters on the CIA payroll, which has proven to be a stunning ongoing success. The CIA effort to recruit American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda, was headed up by Frank Wisner, Allen Dulles, Richard Helms, and Philip Graham (publisher of The Washington Post). Wisner had taken Graham under his wing to direct the program code-named Operation Mockingbird and both have presumably committed suicide. Media assets will eventually include ABC, NBC, CBS, Time, Newsweek, Associated Press, United Press International (UPI), Reuters, Hearst Newspapers, Scripps-Howard, Copley News Service, etc. and 400 journalists, who have secretly carried out assignments according to documents on file at CIA headquarters, from intelligence-gathering to serving as go-betweens. The CIA had infiltrated the nation's businesses, media, and universities with tens of thousands of on-call operatives by the 1950's. CIA Director Dulles had staffed the CIA almost exclusively with Ivy League graduates, especially from Yale with figures like George Herbert Walker Bush from the "Skull and Crossbones" Society. Many Americans still insist or persist in believing that we have a free press, while getting most of their news from state-controlled television, under the misconception that reporters are meant to serve the public. Reporters are paid employees and serve the media owners, who usually cower when challenged by advertisers or major government figures. Robert Parry reported the first breaking stories about Iran-Contra for Associated Press that were largely ignored by the press and congress, then moving to Newsweek he witnessed a retraction of a true story for political reasons. In 'Fooling America: A Talk by Robert Parry' he said, "The people who succeeded and did well were those who didn't stand up, who didn't write the big stories, who looked the other way when history was happening in front of them, and went along either consciously or just by cowardice with the deception of the American people." Major networks are primarily controlled by giant corporations that are obligated by law, to put the profits of their investors ahead of all other considerations which are often in conflict with the practice of responsible journalism. There were around 50 corporations a couple of decades ago, which was considered monopolistic by many and yet today, these companies have become larger and fewer in number as the biggest ones absorb their rivals. This concentration of ownership and power reduces the diversity of media voices, as news falls into the hands of large conglomerates with holdings in many industries that interferes in newsgathering, because of conflicts of interest. Mockingbird was an immense financial undertaking with funds flowing from the CIA largely through the Congress for Cultural Freedom (CCF) founded by Tom Braden with Pat Buchanon of CNN's Crossfire. Media corporations share members of the board of directors with a variety of other large corporations including banks, investment companies, oil companies, health care, pharmaceutical, and technology companies. Until the 1980's, media systems were generally domestically owned, regulated, and national in scope. However, pressure from the IMF, World Bank, and US government to deregulate and privatize, the media, communication, and new technology resulted in a global commercial media system dominated by a small number of super-powerful transnational media corporations (mostly US based), working to advance the cause of global markets and the CIA agenda. The first tier of the nine giant firms that dominate the world are Time Warner/AOL, Disney/ABC, Bertelsmann, Viacom/CBS, Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation/Fox, General Electric/NBC, Sony, Universal/Seagram, Tele-Communications, Inc. or TCI and AT&T. This is just the head of the octopus which has its second and third tier tentacles working together in unison or feigned division. This would include The Washington Post/Newsweek, The New York Times/Weekly Standard, Tribune Co., US News, Gannett/USA Today, Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Knight-Ridder, etcetera. A good site to visit for more information is Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting, a public interest media watchdog group, at www.fair.org/index.html, www.fair.org/mediafiles/index.html and www.fair.org/extra/9711/gmg.html. Media propaganda tactics include blackouts, misdirections, expert opinions to echo the Establishment line, smears, defining popular opinions, mass entertainment distractions, and Hobson's Choice (the media presents the so-called conservative and liberal positions). "Who Controls the Media? The Subversion of the Free Press by the CIA, The Depraved Spies and Moguls of the CIA's Operation Mockingbird", "The CIA: America's Premier International Terrorist Organization", and "Virtual Government: CIA Mind Control Operations in America" by Alex Constantine are an excellent source of information on this topic: www.alexconstantine.50megs.com/the_cia_and.html and www.alexconstantine.50megs.com. David Guyatt has written books and many articles including one entitled "Subverting the Media" at www.deepblacklies.co.uk/subverting_the_media.htm. Then there are two articles called "A Timeline of CIA Atrocities" and "The Origins of the Overclass" by Steve Kangas that are very informative although from a more liberal perspective. Steve will not be writing anymore articles as he is no longer with us, having unfortunately met his untimely death that was 'apparently' from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. If you read about him on his web page that is still available, you will see that he did not seem like a person who was suffering from deep depression. In his memory, please take the time to read what he wrote at www.korpios.org/resurgent/CIAtimeline.html, www.korpios.org/resurgent/CIAtimeline.html, and www.korpios.org/resurgent/index.html. CNN aired "Valley of Death" in June of 1998 and Time magazine (both owned by Time-Warner) ran a story about a secret mission called Operation Tailwind and the activities of SOG, Studies and Observations Group, a secret elite commando unit of the Army's Special Forces that used lethal nerve gas (sarin), on a mission to Laos designed to kill American defectors. Suddenly the network was awash in denials and the story was hushed up, as usual. Acknowledged use of this gas coming at a time when the U.S. government was trying to get Saddam to comply with weapons inspections, was an embarrassment to say the least. What hypocrisy! Having actually used the weapons on our own troops, then complaining and accusing Saddam of potential use of stored similar weapons, of which some were manufactured in and supplied by the U.S. The broadcast was prepared after exhaustive research and rooted in considerable supportive data. To decide for yourself what the truth is read Floyd Abrams' report on the CNN site at www.cnn.com/US/9807/02/tailwind.findings/index.html. Journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward broke the stories on Watergate (late 70's) in the Washington Post, having gained access to what the CIA was trying to keep from congress about its program of using journalists at home and abroad, in deliberate propaganda campaigns. It was later revealed that Woodward was a Naval intelligence briefer to the White House and knew many insiders including General Alexander Haig. A high-level source told Bernstein, "One journalist is worth twenty agents." CFR/Trilateralist Katharine Graham, in a 1988 speech given to senior CIA employees at Agency headquarters said, "We live in a dirty and dangerous world. There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows." Maybe that's another reason why folks get the impression that a suspicious agenda lurks behind the headlines. "25 Ways to Suppress Truth: Rules of Disinformation" and "8 Traits of the Disinformationalist" at www.proparanoid.com/truth.htm, sums it up very well. Ralph McGehee was a CIA agent for 25 years, mainly in South-East Asia where he witnessed bombing and napalming of villages, which caused him to examine closely what the CIA was really all about. He has written about Vietnam's Phoenix Program www.vwip.org/articles/m/McGeheeRalph_VietnamsPhoenixProgram.htm and after a long battle with CIA censors, he published the book "Deadly Deceits" in 1983. Ralph has been harassed by the CIA and FBI, involving bodily injury, and his CIABASE website was shut down on Spring of 2000. He copied some reports that can be found at http://serendipity.magnet.ch/cia/ciabase_report_1.htm (and 2.htm), http://serendipity.magnet.ch/cia/death_squads.htm, and www.thirdworldtraveler.com/CIA/Deadly_Deceits.html. He concluded that the CIA is not now nor has it ever been a central intelligence agency but rather the covert action arm of the President's foreign policy advisors, of which disinformation is a large part of its responsibility and the American people are the primary target of its lies. One of the primary reasons John F. Kennedy was assassinated had to do with the fact he dared to interfere in the framework of power. Kennedy was intent on exercising his ELECTED powers and not allowing them to be usurped by power-crazed individuals in the intelligence community, threatening to "splinter the CIA in a thousand pieces and scatter it to the wind." There were four things that filled the CIA with rage and sealed his fate; JFK fired Allen Dulles, was in the process of founding a panel to investigate the CIA's numerous crimes, put a damper on the breadth and scope of the CIA, and limited their ability to act under National Security Memoranda 55. There is such an overwhelming amount of information pertaining to the CIA that it is impossible to cover it all in one book, much less an article. Personally, I have come to the conclusion that the media is not only influenced by the CIA.....the media is the CIA. Many Americans think of their supposedly free press as a watchdog on government, mainly because the press itself shamelessly promotes that myth. One of the first tenets for the control of a population is to control all sources of information the population receives and mostly because of the pervasive CIA and Operation Mockingbird, the mainstream American Press is a controlled multi-national corporate/government megaphone. They are up to their eyeballs in dirty deeds and there will never be an end to the corruption that prevails unless the CIA is abolished. Otherwise, the CIA will just keep on using their tricks of propaganda, stuffed ballot boxes, purchased elections, extortion, blackmail, drug trafficking, sexual intrigue, kidnapping, beating, torture, intimidation, economic sabotage, false stories about opponents in the local media, infiltration and disruption of opposing political parties, demolition and evacuation procedures, death squads, and politically motivated assassinations. The CIA is the epitome of organized crime run amuck!

The Crime and Punishment of IG Farben By Joseph Borkin Did Hitler simply seize power through a few inspirational speeches, or did he use fear, intimidation, and a well funded propaganda campaign (backed by wealthy industrialists who thought Fascism would be a great way to boost the bottom line) to drive his country into war? http://www.hempfarm.org/Books/Punishment_of_IG_BOM.html The story of IG Farben is an Enron executive's wet dream. IG Farben was the German industrial monopoly that turned the once Democratic Germany into a tool for terror and global domination simply because it was good for business. Mussolini said, "Fascism, should more apropriately be called Corporateism, because it is the merger of State and Corporate Power." But more to the point, Fascism is great for the bottom line. Especially if your Business is war. If you've never heard of IG Farben, then the real story of Hitler's rise to power and the Military Industrial Complex that backed him may come as a shock. Especially given the paralels and connections between the administrations of both President's Bush who were backed by many of the same people and corporations that backed Hitler. Upon reflection, the fact that the Bush family and their business partners helped finance the rise of Hitler is hardly a surprise given former head of the CIA George H. W. Bush's lifelong efforts to arm and finance fundamentalist right-wing dictatorships throughout the world. (Need I mention Saddam Hussein, Bin Laden's Mujhadin, the Contras, and Saudi Arabia?)

Tell me again what a triple-A rating is good for? Not a whole lot, if one of the iconic triple-As in American industry, General Electric, has to go hat in hand to the federal government for a $140 billion bailout. Or maybe G.E. isn't the bulletproof financial juggernaut the rating agencies say. The company's vaunted GE Capital unit has supposedly been a money machine for years, having generated solid returns come rain or shine. By now, the unit generates upwards of 40% of G.E. overall profits. Except there's one problem: G.E.'s financial services business may be the blackest box on Wall Street. The unit has little transparency, no regulatory oversight, and now, we are finding out, an unstable funding model. In particular, G.E. has chosen to fund its finance business with short-term commercial paper rather than secure more stable long-term funding based on its triple-A rating--which, it appears, turns out to be fiction. Odd, isn't it, that even though it operates in the same economic environment as regulated financial behemoths, G.E. never seems to get hit by outsized credit losses or asset writedowns? Is that because a) the people at G.E. are just smarter than everybody else, or b) the company has wide latitude to paper over problems since it doesn't have a regulator looking over its shoulder? I vote for b. We know, for instance, that GE is not above skimping on non-cash discretionary items in order to plump up its near-term results. And not in a small way, either: one reason Jack Welch could show such sparkling earnings gains toward the end of his tenure as CEO is that in the late 1990s and early 2000s, G.E. systematically underreserved for losses at its reinsurance unit. When the company sold the business in 2005, it had to pump in an extra $10 billion to make up the shortfall. Opaque assets and unstable funding. That's some combination. In any event, yet another pillar of the "shadow banking system" founders.

General Electric said Wednesday that the federal government had agreed to insure as much as $139 billion in debt for its lending subsidiary, GE Capital. This is the second time in a month that G.E. has turned to a federal program aimed at helping companies during the global credit crisis. GE Capital is not a bank, but granting it access to a new program from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation may reassure investors and help the lender compete with banks that already have government-protected debt, a G.E. spokesman, Russell Wilkerson, told Bloomberg News. “Inclusion in this program will allow us to source our debt competitively with other participating financial institutions,” Mr. Wilkerson said. The F.D.I.C. program covers about $139 billion of G.E.’s debt, or 125 percent of total senior unsecured debt outstanding as of Sept. 30 and maturing by June 30. G.E. sent investors an e-mail letter about the program on Wednesday and posted the letter on its Web site. “Our participation is a positive development for our investors,” it said. G.E.’s finance businesses are able to seek F.D.I.C. debt coverage because its GE Capital subsidiary also owns a federal savings bank and an industrial loan company, both of which already qualify. Last month, G.E. started using a new Federal Reserve program aimed at reviving demand for the commercial paper for a wide variety of companies.

I have to wonder. First, we have Corus, which reported a negative Tier 1 Ratio. That is, they are formally "in the hole" in terms of assets .vs. liabilities. This is never supposed to happen - but it did, "Prompt Corrective Action" be damned. Next, we have Guaranty Bank, which also has a negative core capital ratio. They have been trying to sell themselves (gee, I wonder why?) for a while without success. Here's the relevant quote from their 8-K: Based on these adjustments, the Bank’s core capital ratio stood at negative 5.78% as of March 31, 2009. The Bank’s total risk based capital ratio as of March 31, 2009 stood at negative 5.52%. Both of these ratios result in the Bank being considered critically under-capitalized under regulatory prompt corrective action standards. Yet Prompt Corrective Action (PCA) - a law, by the way, not a suggestion - has once again not been followed. Finally, we have Colonial. I made a nice chunk of coin shorting and PUTting that turkey last year, when their CEO (and a lot of other people) said they were "very conservative." Uh huh. My read of their balance sheet said they were (like many other regional banks) massively over-exposed to condo construction loans in..... you guessed it.... Florida (which incidentally is what killed Corus.) Oops. But here's the money quote on Colonial: If the FDIC were to seize Colonial, it would be the sixth-largest seizure, by assets, in American history. Such a large failure could strain the bank safety net. Colonial has $20 billion in deposits, while the FDIC insurance fund has dropped below $15 billion. The FDIC wouldn't have to cover every dime, but when Florida's BankUnited, with $12.8 billion in assets, failed earlier this year, it cost regulators nearly $5 billion. Add all three of these up and tell me what you think is going on? These three are not small banks. They are significant regional institutions, unlike the tiny little banks that we hear about every Friday after the close of business. Here's the nut to the story above: When BankUnited was seized note that the total loss on assets was some 40%. They were not in the hole by anywhere near that much according to their so-called "accounting." Neither was IndyMac, but they also created an enormous loss. So what's going on here? Simple: An enormous number of banks are holding loans at or close to "par" that really aren't. They're holding mortgages at massively-inflated values, even on defaulted properties, and this is why you are not seeing more foreclosure sales - that is, why inventory is being held back. If they sell it the accountants will force recognition of the loss, which will render them instantly insolvent, but so long as they "extend and pretend" they are marking these loans way, way above recovery value. The upshot of this is that these firms' balance sheet claims on asset values are massively inflated, regulators know it, and they're intentionally ignoring it. I have been sounding the alarm on this for more than a year; it has in fact been the focus of multiple petitions to Congress and the cause of thousands of dollars of personal expense faxing letters and Tickers to members warning them of the danger of letting this sort of accounting misdirection continue. The claim of banking sector health and "successful rescue by Treasury and The Fed" is in fact false. No such thing has occurred. What's going on here is nothing more or less than intentional false claims of asset "valuation", which is repeatedly exposed when the FDIC is finally forced to seize institutions, exposing the lies. Then, suddenly, 20, 30, even 40% losses on alleged "asset books" come out into the light and the taxpayer eats them. The bank executives and accountants that played this game with the books should have been arrested and the bank thrown into receivership over a year ago. Oh by the way, just as with all such "extend and pretend" games (otherwise known as fraud when practiced by anyone without a "government can cheat all it wants and nobody goes to jail" card) the longer you play this game, the longer you wait to do the right thing, the more money it costs you (in this case the Taxpayer gets the inevitable bill.) For those of you who say that the FDIC is "not the responsible party", that's nonsense. OTS/OCC are the agencies that perform primary regulation for any federally-chartered bank but the FDIC is the agency that is responsible for resolution, and they are always working together in this regard. Yes, the FDIC has a "backup credit line" (a big one at that!) from Treasury, but the fact remains that about 75% of the FDIC's "insurance fund" has been depleted over the last year due to massive and intentional failures to enforce Prompt Corrective Action, with the most-expensive and most-outrageous (thus far) being IndyMac, where OTS was found (by the government's own auditors!) to be complicit in backdating deposits to "cook" capital ratios! Riddle me this folks: What possible positive purpose can come from the FDIC refusing to seize these institutions when their capital ratios are either negative or clearly going to become negative? These banks have all been train wrecks that I and others have written about for more than a year; Colonial was referenced in a Ticker on the 14th of July of 2008, with my first warning on them more than two years ago in April of 2007. What do I think? I believe the FDIC is broke and knows it; that under the law they should have seized these three banks (and many dozens more, including some really big ones) some time ago, but doing so will force them to tap the Treasury "emergency" credit line. They're well-aware that this could instill quite a bit of panic in the public (never mind Congress!); as such they, along with OTS and OCC are conspiring to (once again) hide the truth and pray for an economic recovery before they are forced to act as the law demanded months or even years ago! This is nothing more than an attempt to keep this graph from looking dramatically worse than it already does and keep the "green shoot" lie alive to pump the stock market so that Americans "feel better." Big banking and other executives are taking advantage of this lie by selling shares into an overheated market (which they have been doing, by the way: Insider sales are at levels last seen just before the top in October of 2007!) Hint to Sheila Bair, Tim Geithner, Dugan and Ben Bernanke: It won't work and you're going to precipitate a credit and stock market meltdown worse than last fall's. You may have already passed the point where you are unable to avoid that sort of damage, but if you don't act now the outcome is virtually assured. Do your damn job and do it now; we must stop the fraud and force the insolvent into the open - all of them - if we are to have a durable economic recovery! Disclosure: No position in any of these turkeys; I called all of them but Guaranty, which I didn't follow, zeros a long time ago.

While many companies hire lobbyists to win earmarks, General Electric’s unmatched lobbying force has secured a tax increase — or its equivalent — in President Barack Obama’s budget. Labeled “climate revenues” and totaling $646 billion over eight years, this line item in Obama’s budget has inspired confidence in GE Chief Executive Officer Jeff Immelt. As Immelt put it in a letter this week, he believes that the Obama administration will be a profitable “financier” and “key partner.” On page 115 of Obama’s fiscal 2010 budget is Table S-2, titled “Effect of Budget Proposals on Projected Deficits.” The chart forecasts the costs of Obama’s spending proposals and the added revenue of his proposed tax increases. It also forecasts, beginning in 2012, billions of dollars a year in “climate revenues.” This budget line, which has struck fear into some lawmakers from coal-dependent states, could spell salvation for GE in these times of uncertainty. How can Obama generate “climate revenues”? By forcing companies to pay for the right to emit greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. A tax on greenhouse gas emissions could accomplish this, but Obama’s preferred policy — and the approach embraced by a few congressional bills in recent years — is called “cap and trade.” In short, cap and trade requires businesses to spend “credits” to pay for their emissions. Businesses can buy or sell these credits, and the market — not the government — would directly set the price of a credit. Government would initially auction them off, generating revenue. GE — a member of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, which advocates cap and trade — leads the push for greenhouse gas restrictions. In the fourth quarter of 2008 as the company’s stock fell 30 percent, GE spent $4.26 million on lobbying — that’s $46,304 each day, including weekends, Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2008, the company spent a grand total of $18.66 million on lobbying. Reviewing their lobbying filings, you might think you were looking at Al Gore’s agenda. GE’s specific lobbying issues included the “Climate Stewardship Act,” “Electric Utility Cap and Trade Act,” “Global Warming Reduction Act,” “Federal Government Greenhouse Gas Registry Act,” “Low Carbon Economy Act,” and “Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act.” This isn’t altruism or public relations. GE has started a joint venture called Greenhouse Gas Services, which invests in — and hopes to manage the trade in — greenhouse gas credits. But these investments and this trading floor are of basically no use and nearly no value without government restrictions on greenhouse gases. Hence the lobbying, buttressed by generous campaign contributions: Employees and executives gave $1.35 million to politicians in the past election while GE’s political action committee shelled out $1.55 million. About 64 percent of this $2.9 million went to Democrats, with Obama easily the top recipient of GE money. Obama’s budget includes the payoff, promising to start a multibillion-dollar greenhouse gas industry by 2012. In a letter this week, GE’S Immelt told shareholders that current events present an “opportunity of a lifetime,” because “capitalism will be ‘reset.’ ” Immelt wrote: “The interaction between government and business will change forever. In a reset economy, the government will be a regulator; and also an industry policy champion, a financier, and a key partner.” In short, GE plans to get rich by being one of the government’s closest partners — which it has always been, thanks to its unmatched lobbying efforts. The environmentalist at this point might respond, “Well, good for GE. if they can get rich while helping the planet, more power to them.” But this ignores important issues. First, restraining greenhouse gas emissions will cost Americans dearly. Gas, electricity and heating prices will all go up. The prices of manufactured and shipped goods will go up. A Clemson University report on similar cap-and-trade proposals forecast a 1 percent decline in he U.S. gross domestic product by 2015 if they were implemented. There are environmental costs, also, to such a focus on greenhouse gases: Ethanol’s damage to water supplies, soil health and air quality are the fruit of government pushing the product as a climate-friendly fuel. When the lobbying fingerprints of GE and other well-connected firms are considered, it’s not hard to conclude that the policy that will finally emerge won’t be the one that is best for the planet and least bad for the economy, but the one that is best for General Electric

GE just got a loan though right? Not a bailout but a fat 18 billion dollar loan...i could have heard wrong. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,517778,00.htmlThis is a rush transcript from "Glenn Beck," April 23, 2009. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated. GLENN BECK, HOST: What was President Obama's carbon footprint on Earth Day? I don't think Mother Earth was too happy about the flight he had to take to give a speech in front of a wind turbine. Wind turbine — remember that? That's where he gave that speech, halfway across the country. Good job on leading by example, Mr. President. Read all about it on my free e-mail newsletter at GlennBeck.com. You can sign up for it right now. [Wednesday], we did celebrate Earth Day and so did the mainstream media: (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) MATT LAUER, 'TODAY SHOW' HOST: Now to a new vehicle that's sure to turn a lot of heads on this Earth Day, it is called a "Peapod." UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Robert Kennedy, Jr., his Waterkeeper organization is part of that alliance and it's holding a star-studded Earth Day benefit today. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We're going to show you some quick, easy and cheap ways to make your workplace more eco-friendly. CHARLES GIBSON, ABC NEWS: On this Earth Day, we have a closer look at the growing threat to this planet we all call home. (END VIDEO CLIP) BECK: Oh, no. No to global warming; yes to cap-and-trade. Hmm. Let's rewind a week ago. Remember the coverage of the tea parties. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) SUSAN ROESGEN, CNN REPORTER: I think you get the general tenor of this. It's anti-government, anti-CNN, since this is highly promoted by the right-wing, conservative network, FOX. KEITH OLBERMANN, MSNBC HOST: Number two story tonight, the sad reality behind the corporate-sponsored tea parties, visual proof this is not about spending, deficits or taxes, but about some Americans getting riled up now about these things, riled up by the people who caused these things and finally about some Americans who just hate the president of the United States. And, in an act of somewhat (INAUDIBLE) amorphous protest, Americans in many cities around the country gathered in public around their chosen protest symbol today: the tea bag. (END VIDEO CLIP) BECK: Wow, see what a difference — I mean, should I say, what a difference G.E. makes? Is it a coincidence that a particular network's parent company is the largest supplier of wind turbines in the U.S.? Wait, who was in front of the wind turbine? Oh, my gosh — it's Barack Obama! I'm not the only one asking this question. Everybody should be. Yesterday, at the G.E. shareholders' meeting, a bunch of people asked about this network's bias and one of them was Bill O'Reilly's producer, Jesse Waters. He joins me now. • Video: Watch Beck's interview Are you are afraid to come in the all-cry zone, Bill? Is that what's happening here? BILL O'REILLY, "THE O'REILLY FACTOR" HOST: You know, I tried to get into the bunker and there were just too many sandbags in front of the door. I couldn't get through. BECK: No. I heard you knocking on the door. O'REILLY: You let me in, Glenn! (CROSSTALK) O'REILLY: And then there was like little guys, you know, were outside... BECK: Shhh! Don't give away all of our secrets. O'REILLY: Sentries? BECK: All right. So, Bill, tell me about — this story absolutely amazes me. O'REILLY: This is a big story and you don't know the half of it, Beck, and you will after you watch "The Factor" tonight. BECK: No, I may not watch. O'REILLY: As far — well, if you don't watch it, and you're not going to be in the know. And I know that you want to be in the know. BECK: Yes, I know. OK, tell me. O'REILLY: OK. Now, this is far beyond any wind turbine deal. BECK: Yes. O'REILLY: Let me ask you a couple of questions. That's how we're going to do the interview. Which is the most pro-Obama network in the country right now? BECK: I know it. I'm thinking about it. I got it? O'REILLY: Tell the folks. BECK: Oh, it's MSNBC and NBC. O'REILLY: NBC News. BECK: Yes. O'REILLY: OK. Which network promoted Obama presidency during the election the most, the most for him? BECK: NBC. O'REILLY: OK. Those are facts. They're irrefutable. Everybody knows it. Now, there was a network attached to NBC — CNBC — which had the brazenness to actually criticize some of Obama's economic policies. Remember that? BECK: Yes. O'REILLY: And all of a sudden, Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of General Electric, and Jeff Zucker, the president of NBC, went over to New Jersey, to CNBC — and what did they do? BECK: They told them to keep their mouth — to zip it on anti-Obama. O'REILLY: Right. In fact, the guy, Rick Santelli, is that his name? BECK: Yes, the tea bag guy. O'REILLY: He came out and said, "They sent me to a re-education camp." So, now, all the Beck viewers and listeners know what the framework is. BECK: Sure. O'REILLY: That we have the General Electric company, one of the most powerful companies in the world, actively promoting a political candidate for the presidency, Barack Obama, and then after he wins, allowing vicious attacks on any criticism of said president, and actually telling the CNBC people knock off your criticism of him. BECK: But they've also — Bill, they have also, and I know you have covered this, because I have watched you for years, they've covered this or you've covered this where they sell all these green things where they're just, like, hey, look at this... O'REILLY: OK. That's true. BECK: Brian Williams: Look at this nice light bulb that the trees are lit in. O'REILLY: That's not — right. That's true, but this is a bigger thing than that. All right. You start there with the fact that this corporation, General Electric, has promoted a candidate for president, who won, and is now protecting that man. This is an abuse of power — abuse of corporate power. It should not happen. Now, the company, G.E., owns one of the biggest media outlets in the world, NBC. So, you got a tremendous amount of power pack. Now, we find out through the good reporting of the Washington Examiner, a small newspaper in D.C., we find out, and this is what "The Factor's" story is tonight, that General Electric has set up a division to capitalize on cap-and-trade — the carbon corporate tax — if it's passed. General Electric is heavily lobbying for contracts that could bring them billions of dollars, getting involved with the cap-and-trade transactions, whereby every company in the United States that has emissions would be told by the federal government, "If you go over a certain amount, you need to pay us or buy other things." G.E. would be right in the middle of profiting from that. So, hey, I wonder why they're shutting down criticism... BECK: Bill... O'REILLY: ...of Barack Obama and attacking people like you and me, who, on occasion, might criticize the president. BECK: You, sir, you know, every American knows, that if this — if this parent company of FOX was building war machines or tanks or whatever, if we would have supported George W. Bush, the media would have gone crazy. These people, they don't care about G.E. — Jeffrey Immelt does not — I mean, NBC — Jeffrey Immelt does not care about NBC or its news credibility whatsoever. It is nothing but a propaganda machine to be able to sell wind turbines and make money for G.E. That's all it is. O'REILLY: But it's deeper than that, though. If President Obama were to award the contracts for cap-and-trade — which isn't passing by the way, but Nancy Pelosi says she's going to bring it back again. Say it passes. If President Obama then rewards General Electric for all its support and help, that's Chicago politics. That's quid pro quo. So, you're into an area now that makes Watergate look like a Shirley Temple movie. BECK: Yes. All right. O'REILLY: And that's the big story we're breaking tonight. BECK: Bill, thank you very much. I'll let you go — I'll let you go this time. This time, I'm going to let you go as a friend. I won't hold you and pin you down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDn1S-DwGm4

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Obamas-hidden-bailout-of-General-Electric_03_04-40686707.html Obama’s hidden bailout of General Electric By: Timothy P. Carney Examiner Columnist March 4, 2009 While many companies hire lobbyists to win earmarks, General Electric’s unmatched lobbying force has secured a tax increase — or its equivalent — in President Barack Obama’s budget.

By the way this post is dedicated to Lizzy. Ihope it answers all your questions. Thank you for making me take a closer look at “how GE bought the Oval Office and its current occupant”. As I wrote earlier GE nows owns Bambi and the White House lock, stock and barrel. GE stands to gain contracts not only in the area of “green initiatives” but in Obamacare, our new socialized health care plan. Interestingly enough Tom Daschle, former HHS nominee and tax cheat extraordinaire is now involved in this health care plan as he sits on the board of GE’s Healthy Imagination which is partnered with Intel, developing “innovative” software to track your medical records. Jeffrey Immelt discusses partnerships between the Oval Office and businesses: For all of the carping liberals did for eight years about corporate cronyism in George W. Bush’s White House, they seem to turn a blind eye to the same behavior in President Obama’s. With plans in place for a major overhaul in the health-care industry, General Electric is positioning itself to become a major beneficiary of these health care reforms. (This is why GE supported Bambi along with its news affiliates MSNBC and NBC, which are still in the tank for Obama. Can you hear the kumbayas from MSNBC and NBC during the election? They still echo today in their love affair with all things Bambi and the Bambettes!) Recently at the Business and Social Responsibility Conference, General Electric Chief Executive Officer Jeff Immelt referred to America’s current economic crisis as part of a “reset” rather than part of an economic cycle, saying, “People who understand that will prosper in the future, and people who don’t understand that will get left behind.” In the same address, Mr. Immelt, who is also a member of Mr. Obama’s economic recovery advisory board, added, “The intersection of government and business will be changed, maybe for a generation.” In other words, companies should be prepared to beg for a seat at the government’s table if they plan on remaining lucrative. Glenn Beck and Andrew Wilkow Let me answer one question that Beck and Wilkow had in their discussion. How did GE get $ 139 billion dollars from the FDIC? They own a savings bank and a financial company. General Electric Co. said the U.S. government agreed to insure as much as $139 billion in debt for lending arm GE Capital Corp., the second time in a month it has turned to a federal program designed to help companies during a global credit crunch. Granting GE Capital, which isn’t a bank, access to a new Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. program may reassure investors and help the unit compete with banks that already have government protection behind their debt, said Russell Wilkerson, a spokesman for the Fairfield, Connecticut-based company. Coverage would be for about $139 billion, or 125 percent of total senior unsecured debt outstanding as of Sept. 30 and maturing by June 30. “Inclusion in this program will allow us to source our debt competitively with other participating financial institutions,” Wilkerson said. GE sent investors an e-mail about the program today. “Our participation is a positive development for our investors.” GE’s finance businesses are able to seek FDIC debt coverage because its GE Capital subsidiary also owns a federal savings bank and an industrial loan company, both of which already qualify. GE last month started using a new Federal Reserve program designed to revive demand for commercial paper amid the global crisis. So now we know how they got their money. Here is more on Healthy Imagination from Bungalow Bill: Tom Daschle is back and working on nationalized healthcare. It’s obvious now, GE is a chosen winner by Obama who is choosing which companies win and lose based around his policies, and that doesn’t include the government has been buying GE’s bad paper. Daschle has been chosen as a board member of Healthymagination. GE will drive socialized medicine through a happy-named company. Healthymagination will be in charge of the national patient database, which is established in the stimulus plan. The reports show that GE with Intel Corp is investing $6 billion to improve and make healthcare affordable through Healthymagination, and I have no doubt it is our money they are investing. Healthymagination is founded by GE, and GE’s CEO, Jeffrey Immelt, sits on Obama’s team of economic advisers. Healthymagination’s landing page describes the company will change the way we approach healthcare, with more than 100 innovations all focused on addressing three critical needs, lowering costs, touching more lives, and improving quality. Let’s not forget Daschle is one of the hardest pushers of socialized medicine in this country. Socialized medicine will be controlled by the government with General Electric as its partner, who will make billions as your health care is sacrificed. As you can see there is absolutely no competition in this health care model. It will destroy all small health care plans because they are being left out of the loop. The government will easily track your health care making vitally important decisions for your physician. Americans stand to lose their freedom of choice under this plan. The only one that benefits from this plan is GE and the large insurance companies like Aetna, Blue Cross, etc… There will be no open bidding, the decision has been made by the GE-owned White House and Oval Office. Here is how the connections between GE and the GE owned administration work: GE runs all NBC stations. NBC was and still is in the tank for Obama. (Now we know why! Just ask Jeffrey Immelt!) GE supported Obama and still does, Jeff Immelt, GE CEO, is on Obamas “economic recovery” board. Tom Daschle is on the board of Jeff Immelt’s new “Healthymagination” endeavor. Tom Daschle was to be the HHS but happened to be one of every Obama appointee that has/had tax “issues”. Tom Daschle has written a book about “Universal Health Care” (his book discusses nothing else but socialized medicine.). Now all of the cards are in place for the following to happen: GE gets the sole health care contract and Obama get everlasting support from ALL of GE owned NBC affiliates. Immelt said today that they will use all NBC affiliates “to distribute over 5000 pieces of health related content to over 100mm consumers” In other words, he will help sell the “plan” to the public. There is a ton more to this story but keep an eye on the connection between a very powerful corporation and the administration. More from Twine on how GE will profit from its close friendship with Bambi and the Oval Office in the area of healthcare: Mr. Immelt’s words betray GE’s willingness to partner with the Obama government in order to turn a profit. To this end, GE has appointed Mr. Obama’s former nominee for secretary of health and human services, Tom Daschle, to the board of advisers for Healthymagination, an initiative launched by General Electric in partnership along with Intel, which will invest $6 billion over the next six years on “health care innovation that will help deliver better care to more people at lower cost.” Mr. Daschle said, “We can only find real solutions in health care when business, government and their partners work together.” In 2008, Mr. Daschle wrote the book “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis” in which he explains his radical solutions to the problems in American health care. In the book, Mr. Daschle calls for a British-style Federal Council on health care. The profitability of GE’s new venture will depend heavily on the nationalization of the health care industry. The standardization and streamlining of health care recordkeeping, something on which Mr. Obama ran in 2008, would require a massive government contract for the technology to achieve such standardization. Fortunately for Bambi and Congress, Healtymagination is developing a health care record management system. With Bambi’s most ardent supporter, Tom Daschle, sitting on the board of Healthymagination, GE will certainly get some of those very lucrative contracts. Quid Pro Quo for a former Senator! And did I mention that NBC is in on the crony capitalism in the Oval Office? Healthy Imaging reports that GE-owned media conglomerate NBC with its ratings in the tank will be a shill for the program. NBC Universal and NBC News will air more than 5,000 televised reports annually on health and wellness. (Now the subliminal messages begin. NBC will convince you that you aren’t healthy unless the government controls your healthcare!) MSNBC will do their part to convince you that government run health care is the best for you during their coverage of medical issues and examination of health policies. (Okay! Now I understand why NBC ran with Farah’s Story which I covered in a previous post. It is working because now everyone is talking about how her cancer shows why our health care system is so bad!) Put very simply, the media will put the propaganda out their for you to view (like they did with Farah’s Story), the government will be overwhelmed with popular demand for socialized medicine especially single payer (I covered the myths about single payer health care in another post) health care and it will be enacted while no one bothers to read the fine print in Congress. Tryst me there will be no debate because the Democraps will enact it while some of the Repelicans fall in line. Crony capitalism at its best. And Bambi’s administration will pay back his best friends in corporate America with our taxpayer dollars.

GE also picked up Smiths Aerospace which is a large DoD defense contractor. UAV's, high speed planes, in-air refueling, etc. Lockheed Martin often cooperates with Smiths (now GE Aviation) and is one of the largest defense contractors. Lockheed is active in many of the weapons systems currently deployed and it is also developing next gen weaponry such as electro-optical guided machinery and mountable combat lasers. see LOSAT Line Of Sight Anti-Tank weapon system and JHPSSL Joint High Powered SolidState Laser (with data sheet) and their presentation for more info.

There are so many definitions and perceptions on the words: socialism, fascism, communism, new world order, left wing, right wing, middle-left-conservative, middle-right-liberal... on & on. Right?
So, this is what I do. Just go by this, which does not immediately alienate & fractionalize: The Establishment
Not about Obama, not about a party or political idealogy. But, it is about ~what~ is in power {by a thin thread!}
Also, when putting up posters -- if someone takes down your poster, assume it is because they "want" the poster. Many people gather posters for their poster collection, this way. If you are there when they tear it down, walk up kindly and offer them one that is in perfect shape. If they really meant to be rude and rip it away for no one to see, so-be-it. It is their Right, as it is Your Right to put it up.
Obama supporters listen to me when I calmly say these two things:
1. Hey, we all want Hope & Change. I was SO for it!
2. I think the Obamas on a personal level are great. He's sure easier on the eyes than McCain and Michele speaks like a dream.
Then I listen to them. When the chance arrives, I take one small point like putting in all the lobbyists (non-emotional topic) in white house positions, when he said he wouldn't! Get them to watch The Obama Deception & drop it.
