Personally, I think it is being done deliberately as if Hillary were going to scold someone for the release of this latest birth certificate and to make people think that is Hillary's mission. Frankly, if this certificate were on the up and up, I think some mini war would have started--you know what I mean? I think this is a wag the dog scenario--I could be wrong...

http://www.reuters.com/article/vcCandidateFeed1/idUSN03540042Clinton sets off for 7-nation Africa trip Mon Aug 3, 2009 7:43pm EDT Email | Print | Share | Reprints | Single Page [-] Text By Sue Pleming WASHINGTON, Aug 3 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left on Monday for a seven-nation trip to Africa, pressing for more anti-corruption efforts but seeking to boost trade as China's influence rises on the continent. Her trip comes less than a month after President Barack Obama visited Ghana and told African leaders that Western aid must be matched by good governance and greater attempts to end war, disease and corruption. U.S. officials said Clinton's 11-day visit was intended to reinforce that message but also aimed at showing that the Obama administration sees Africa as a foreign policy priority despite other challenges, including wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. "The administration is committed to Africa. The administration is capable of handling multiple foreign policy issues at one time," said Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Johnnie Carson, who is traveling with Clinton to Africa, her longest trip since becoming top U.S. diplomat. Clinton's first stop is Kenya, birthplace of Obama's father, where she will attend an annual trade meeting established by a U.S. program that allows countries in sub-Saharan Africa to export more than 6,400 goods to the United States without paying duties. The United States is looking at ways to boost trade with the 48 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, which currently accounts for little more than 1 percent of total U.S. exports and about only 3 percent of U.S. imports. U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk said in an op-ed published in Kenyan newspapers on Monday that Africans should follow the lead from Asian developing countries which had diversified their economies in order to boost trade. "We need to find new and more effective ways to promote African competitiveness," said Kirk, who will also be in Kenya for the trade meeting. SOMALI MEETING U.S. efforts to boost trade and investment links with Africa come as China has displaced many western countries as the major investor on the continent, pumping in billions of dollars to secure access to African commodities it needs for its industries. While in Kenya, Clinton also plans to meet Somalia's president, Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, and will pledge further U.S. financial aid to help bolster his shaky transitional government and continue supplying arms and ammunition to his forces. "We think that the support for Sheikh Sharif and his government offers an opportunity to be able to restore some stability, fight against the Somali Islamic extremists," Carson told reporters before leaving Washington. Clinton is also likely to have harsh words for Eritrea for its meddling in Somalia where it is accused of backing extremist groups. Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, warned last week that Eritrea faced sanctions unless its behavior changed very soon. Another highlight of Clinton's trip will be stops in the continent's leading oil producers -- Angola and Nigeria -- as well as Liberia, which like Angola is recovering from a long conflict. The top U.S. diplomat will also visit South Africa, another strategic priority for Washington and where Clinton wants to bolster ties that were strained under the Bush administration. In the eastern part of war-ravaged Democratic Republic of Congo, Clinton plans to visit a camp for displaced persons, where she will highlight rape and other violence against women, an issue she has promised to crusade against in her new job. The final overnight stop on Aug. 13 will be Cape Verde, a nation the United States sees as an example of good governance for the rest of Africa and which U.S. officials seldom include on their Africa itineraries, except as a refueling stop. Why? For legal reasons? They could have treated it like Bilderberg... 'private trip' kind of thing. It's just strange; I don't think it's related to the birth cert., that would be too obvious. Unless she's thinking about 2012... !! I just saw the next post... nevemind.. official meeting..

get ready for stories about Al-Qaeda in Kenya and if they do not stop their WMD program then we will have no choice... The Kenyan governmet knows he was born in Kenya, they talk about it all of the time. It is common knowledge there: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH4GX3Otf14Wikipedia even had this (get ready to lol): http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=103810I do have to admit, this is pretty damn funny: http://irregulartimes.com/index.php/archives/2009/05/08/photo-proves-obama-born-in-kenya/comment-page-1/It has occured to me that without the Internet, there is no way in hell that this would even be an issue, they would just deny/deny/deny and there would be weeks before the truth came out to debunk their lies. I guess that is why Rockefeller has declared that the Pres can shut down the Internet any time he wants: Bill Allows Obama Power to Shut Down Internet http://www.tomshardware.com/news/obama-shut-down-internet-legislation,7478.html7:41 PM - April 6, 2009 by Marcus Yam The President of the United States is said by some to be the most powerful man in the world -- but should he have control of the spread of information.A legislation proposed on April 1 is no joke. The proposed bill would grant President Obama the authority to shut down public and private networks -- including the restriction of internet traffic -- as part of a cybersecurity emergency plan. The bill was introduced by West Virginia Democratic Sen. John Rockefeller and Sen. Olympia Snowe, a Republican from Maine. The aim of the bill is to unite both public and private network operators to develop regulations for what to do in case of a cyber attack. For obvious reasons, many are concerned about what such power could mean if the wrong actions were taken. Leslie Harris, president and CEO at the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT), said in a NetworkWorld story, “This is pretty sweeping legislation. Seems the President could turn off the Internet completely or tell someone like Verizon to limit or block certain traffic. There is a lot to worry about in this bill.” While the public sector may be used to more government regulation and involvement, such control will undoubtedly bother corporations. CDT’s Harris added that regulatory rules could force companies to all conform to a similar system, which could hamper security and innovation. For example, if a critical security flaw was found in a mandated system, then the entire network could be susceptible to such a flaw. Corporations, particularly internet-centric companies, are keeping close watch on how this will pan out. “We are currently studying this legislation,” said Dan Martin, a spokesman for Google. “Security has been a priority at Google from the beginning of the company – we recognize that secure products are instrumental in maintaining the trust our users place in us.” The politicians behind the bill do clarify that this is just the first proposal and that there is still room for much revision and evolution. “This legislation is the beginning of the process - the objective of this cybersecurity bill is to start the debate and chairman Rockefeller welcomes comments from all parties, he is sitting down with stakeholders already and he welcomes input from all those supportive of the legislation and those with concerns,” said Jena Longo, deputy communications director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation. Check out the bill here (PDF), hosted by NetworkWorld.

Why else would she go to Kenya? Remember that Kenya split from the British Empire like us. They might tell her to go f**k herself. WHITE WITCH! WHITE WITCH! C'mon Kenyan brothers and sisters, we are all in this together! Do not let Queen Elizabeth destroy a vital part of history by using the WHITE WITCH SUCCUBUS CLINTON to subvert the truth! We all are brothers and sisters in the fight against the New World Order that will render Kenya another taxable debt ridden state like the rest of us.

Hillary Clinton Tells Kenya To Implement Delayed Reforms http://www.postchronicle.com/news/breakingnews/article_212248908.shtmlby Sue Pleming Published: Aug 5, 2009 U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Kenya's government on Wednesday it must quickly implement long-delayed reforms and that corruption, impunity and human rights abuses were holding the country back. Carrying a personal message from U.S. President Barack Obama, whose father was Kenyan, Clinton said she told President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga they must work harder to fully implement a power-sharing deal that ended bloodletting after a disputed December 2007 election. "The absence of strong, effective democratic institutions has permitted ongoing corruption, impunity, politically motivated violence, human rights abuses and a lack of respect for the rule of law," she said in unusually harsh language. "These conditions helped fuel the post-election violence and they are continuing to hold Kenya back," said Clinton, who is in Nairobi for a U.S. trade conference with sub-Saharan African countries. Kenyan Foreign Minister Moses Wetangula said his government was doing everything it could and it was important for nations to talk to each other candidly. "President Kibaki and his team assured the Secretary of State that reforms are on course and that the war against impunity in the country is on, that a war against corruption is on," said Wetangula at the joint news conference with Clinton. "All sanctuaries of corruption will be destroyed to make Kenya a cleaner and safer place to do business," he promised. Last month, Kenya was ranked by Transparency International as east Africa's most graft-prone nation, with a bribe expected or solicited in nearly half of all transactions. TRIBUNALS Clinton said Obama, because of his strong links to Kenya, felt a deep personal commitment to the future of the country and he wanted reforms implemented quickly. "I delivered a very frank statement from President Obama that he also would like to do everything we can to see this reform agenda delivered on," she said. "The election of President Obama demonstrates that progress is possible." Clinton was a bitter rival of Obama's in last year's U.S. presidential race and she said her appointment as the top U.S. diplomat was proof that people who had competed against each other could work together. "I can personally attest that political rivals can become productive partners in the service of the country and the people they love," Clinton said. A senior U.S. official traveling with Clinton said her talks with the Kenyans were "very direct" and that she had outlined to Kenyan leaders details of conversations she had with Obama before leaving Washington. The United States wants Kenya's leaders to hold to account those responsible for last year's post-election chaos and has expressed deep concern at the failure to set up a local court to deal with the perpetrators. Under foreign and local pressure to catch those behind the killing of at least 1,300 people, Kenya came up with a vague formula last week hinting at solutions through existing judicial systems and a truth and reconciliation body. That fell short of international calls for a special tribunal, and brought closer the possibility of an investigation and trial by the International Criminal Court (ICC). Clinton reiterated on Wednesday that the United States wanted a local tribunal to deal with the issue, saying it was best to avoid having "outsiders" determine the outcome. "There is still the hope that Kenya will solve this matter on its own," she said. (Editing by Daniel Wallis)

U.S. Chides Kenya Before Clinton Visit http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124942775006406081.html?mod=googlenews_wsjBy SARAH CHILDRESS AUGUST 5, 2009 NAIROBI, Kenya -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton opened her African trip Tuesday in this East African hub, where she is expected to reiterate the support for good governance and sustainable development that President Barack Obama expressed in his brief visit to Ghana, in West Africa last month. The stop in Kenya will be significant not only for the food-security theme Mrs. Clinton is expected to emphasize in this agricultural economy, but also for the strong political message that the U.S. aims to send to Kenya's recalcitrant coalition government. Since the coalition was cobbled together last year, it has failed to implement any reforms or prosecute perpetrators of the violence that erupted after flawed presidential elections in December 2007. Last week the Kenyan government outlined its intention to rely on the country's notoriously corrupt local courts -- rather than to form a special tribunal -- to try individuals suspected of organizing or participating in the postelection violence. Officials said that they would attempt to reform the local courts before the trials. Some of those suspected of organizing the violence that killed more than 1,000 people early last year are believed to be government ministers, and few Kenyans say they believe the existing justice system, even with extensive reforms, would offer a fair trial. The U.S. Embassy in Nairobi on Tuesday issued a statement before Mrs. Clinton's arrival that expressed "deep concern" over the government's decision about the trials, and said that it only added to the "culture of impunity" in Kenya. Mrs. Clinton is likely to underscore that message at a scheduled meeting Wednesday with President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The meeting is a rare concession for Kenya's bitter political rivals, who tend to avoid being in the same room together. On Thursday, Secretary Clinton plans to hold bilateral talks with Somali President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, who came to power this year and has struggled to bring warring factions together to stabilize the conflict-ridden nation. Mrs. Clinton also plans to travel to South Africa, to meet with newly elected President Jacob Zuma, who is beset by protests from poor township dwellers and working to pull the country from its first postapartheid recession. Secretary Clinton will visit Angola, an emerging economic power on the continent and a major oil producer and exporter to the U.S. She will address gender-based violence during a visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where rape has become a major weapon in the country's longtime conflict. Mrs. Clinton also will visit Nigeria, a major U.S. supplier of oil and gas, and Liberia, which has a historical relationship with the U.S. She will finish her trip on Cape Verde, an island nation that is a democracy and a major recipient of U.S. aid. Clinton in Kenya to talk about Obama's birth certificate? http://www.examiner.com/x-14129-Grand-Rapids-Ron-Paul-Examiner~y2009m8d5-Clinton-in-Kenya-to-talk-about-Obamas-birth-certificateAugust 5, 4:39 AM I find it odd that Clinton arrived in Kenya today after the recent explosion of Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate throughout the media. It is said that Clinton is going there to talk about corruption scandals, which happened in 2007. It is also said that she is going to see Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who is now the Prime Minister. Odinga is Obama’s cousin, who is dogmatically claiming that Obama was born in Kenya. It has also been claimed that Odinga is the agent responsible for helping Obama cover up the birth certificate scandal within the Kenyan government. Sec. of State Hillary Clinton will be where the buck stops in the birth certificate fiasco. It is her underlings that are responsible for clarifying Obama’s citizenship, making this story interesting. Call me paranoid or conspiratorial, but I think this is a coincidence with noting.

All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

"You know the one thing that is wrong in this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say." President Bill Clinton Mar. 1, 1993 - at a press conference in New Jersey, quoted in USA Today~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.conservativeforum.org/authquot.asp?ID=580 There would almost have to be some sort of club or organization at the school -- because if you think about it, your parents are still pretty well separated... Most neighborhoods are still fairly segregated. Most houses of worship are still fairly segregated... We have to find a disciplined, organized way out of this so that we reach every child in an affirmative way before something bad happens. Nov. 10, 1997 - from a speech at the White House Conference on Hate Crimes A wage-based premium. Pledged not to raise taxes, this is what Clinton called the tax he planned to impose to pay for his health care reforms. Quoted in Read My Lips by Parris and Mason [Thomas Jefferson’s view of equality meant that] you had to be white, you had to be male, and ... you had to own property. ... [Our history is the story of] new and higher definitions - and more meaningful definitions - of equality and dignity and freedom. 1997 - from a speech advocating "a living Constitution", non-traditional interpretation of the American Constitution to accommodate "our changing times" The President should resign. He has lied to the American people, time and time again, and betrayed their trust. He is no longer an effective leader. speaking about Richard Nixon, 20 years before his own inclination to prevarication was well known Undeniably, character does count for our citizens, our communities, and our nation, and this week we celebrate the importance of character in our individual lives ... core ethical values of trustworthiness, fairness, responsibility, caring, respect, and citizenship form the foundation of our democracy, our economy, and our society. Instilling sound character in our children is essential to maintaining the strength of our nation into the 21st century. Oct. 17, 1997 - from his speech for "National Character Counts Week" No question that an admission of making false statements to government officials and interfering with the FBI is an impeachable offense. Aug. 8, 1974 - quoted in the Arkansas Gazette I am here because I want to redefine the meaning of citizenship in America. ... If you're asked in school 'What does it mean to be a good citizen?' I want the answer to be, 'Well, to be a good citizen, you have to obey the law, you've got to go to work or be in school, you've got to pay your taxes and - oh, yes, you have to serve ... from a speech at the Volunteerism Summit You know the one thing that's wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say. May 28, 1993 - from a speech at Philadelphia city hall The purpose of government is to rein in the rights of the people. 1993 - from an interview on MTV The road to tyranny, we must never forget, is the destruction of the truth. Oct 15, 1995 - from a speech at the University of Connecticut Over time, we have had to redefine the words that we started out with [in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution], not because there was anything wrong with them and their universal power and strength...but because we were limited in our imaginations about how we could live and what we were capable of and how we should live... We are redefining, in practical terms, the immutable ideals that have guided us from the beginning. 1997 If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees. Aug. 12, 1993 - from a speech I think the definition [of an impeachable offense] should include any criminal acts, plus a willful failure of the President to fulfill his duty to uphold and execute the laws of the United States. The third factor that I think constitutes an impeachable offense would be willful, reckless behaviour in office, just totally incompetent conduct in the office and the disregard of the necessities that the office demands. In an interview with John Whitehead while a presidential candidate. Quoted in Time Magazine, September 21st, 1998. There is no reason for anyone in this country- anyone except a police officer or military person- to buy, to own, to have, to use a handgun. The only way to control handgun use in this country is to prohibit the guns. 1993 - from his speech upon signing the Brady Bill Every state should give parents the power to choose the right public school for their children. Their right to choose will foster competition and innovation that can make public schools better. We should also make it possible for more parents and teachers to start charter schools, schools that set and meet the highest standards and exist only as long as they do. Feb. 04, 1997 - from his State of the Union address No country is immune to people who run [for public office] making extreme statements trying to divide people, trying to, in effect, play on both the economic frustrations and the social and moral frustrations that people feel in all countries where there is both economic stagnation and social disintegration. People everywhere yearn for a certain sense of order and discipline and hopefulness about the daily conditions of life. And when those things are under stress, every political system will be vulnerable to people who try to play on fears and to divide people. Jun 2, 1994 - at a news conference in Rome [speaking about himself?] I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child. [Fact: there is no record of any black church being burned in Arkansas when he was a boy.] Once again, the gun lobby and its allies in the leadership of Congress are standing in the way of real progress. We battle not just for the safety of our families, but for the soundness of our democracy. We'll all have to regroup and find new ways to achieve the same objective. Apr. 8, 1997 - quoted by the Lubbock-Avalanche Journal after a federal court upheld California voters' passage of Proposition 209 banning affirmative action programs You can put wings on a pig, but you don't make it an eagle. 1996 - Describing a modified piece of legislation [or himself?] When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly ... [Now] there's a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there's too much freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it. Apr. 19, 1995 - from a speech after the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City The last time I checked, the Constitution said, 'of the people, by the people and for the people.' That's what the Declaration of Independence says. quoting, in fact, from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address
