Well this tuesday I'm going to kansas city with a friend of mine I work with for a vacation, they have a cabela's hunting store out there and I wanted to get a folding stock for my ak and a foregrip, (i'm not taking any recievers out there though and legally the reciver is the only part that is technically a "gun") I was wondering if I would be allowed to bring it on the plane ride home?

does anyone have any info on this?

Rule #1.  Look at the post above me
Rule #2.  Don't ever forget rule #1.

Bonus Rule.  If you try to talk to this friend you work with about the NWO, or to the TSA harrassing you at the airport, you may get reported to your boss who you said in a different thread u were on thin ice with, and this would be the last straw in giving you the boot...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  In fact, it may not matter simply because you tried to being parts of a gun on a flight, you'll be arrested and charged with terrorism, and its basically gg you.  In other words, leave the damn thing home, there has to be a Cabella's close to you to where this $hit is totally unnecessary.

Part satire, part truth, you can figure out which is which here...

Yeah talking about the NWO + Airport + Gun accessories = Ass in jail, even I'm smart enough to realise that.  Cheesy

I'll probably have to tell them in advance that I would like to bring gun parts (although if I'm talking to someone who knows nothing about guns they probably won't know what a stock or foregrip is and will just say no out of ignorance, unfortunatly) on tuesday, I'm just curious as to what they will say...

I see no reason why that wouldn't be allowed on the plane in the baggage compartment. You can always mail it to yourself if you have severe doubts.

Just mail it, its not worth it, beside you luggage gets ransacked anyways. Whenever I fly, I have to rules in mind packing my luggage, whatever somebody might want to steal will be stolen, whatever can be broken, will be broken.

No just have a professional shipping company handle it.
