Recent cyberattacks provide pretext for sweeping new Internet snooping powers by the government
http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_4898.shtml
By James Corbett Online Journal Guest Writer Jul 13, 2009, 00:24

On Friday, July 3, while most Americans were preparing for a weekend of fireworks and hot dogs, the Obama administration had an ominous message: they are going ahead with a Bush-era plan to allow the NSA even more power to invade, intercept and analyze the data of anyone visiting a government website, ostensibly to help prevent a major cyberattack.

The timing of the announcement -- the day before a long holiday weekend -- seemed unusual, but less than 24 hours later just such an attack began to unfold on a series of websites in America and South Korea, including those of the White House, Pentagon, New York Stock Exchange, Treasury Department, Secret Service and Washington Post, amongst others.

The attack itself turns out to have been fairly innocuous -- a run of the mill DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack that did not even employ the latest malware, but you wouldn’t know that from reading the sensational reporting in the controlled corporate media. The VOA reports that the ‘Internet attackers’ have struck again. US State Department under cyberattack for fourth day blares a headline from the AFP.

Blame for the attack is now falling on North Korea, but what North Korea has to gain by taking down The Washington Post’s website is anybody’s guess (perhaps Kim Jong-il was giving his own pronouncement on the recent revelation that the Post was selling access to high-level politicians to lobbyists for $250,000 a pop). The big winner in this attack, it seems, is the federal government, which has been preparing to unveil an Internet surveillance spy grid for years, but has virtually no mandate to do so from a public that has become tired of invasive government snooping.

Various government stooges have been trying to drum up support for their Orwellian police state fantasy for years by warning of the coming ‘cybergeddon’ at the hands of ‘cyber terrorists.’ In 2003, former National Security Agency (NSA) Director Mike McConnell was going on international fear mongering trips, warning of attacks “equivalent to the attack on the World Trade Center in New York” unless a new agency were created to deal with the threat. The ‘cyber 9-11’ meme has carried on ever since, with hysterical coverage of Chinese cyber warriors and teenage hackers, attempting to rally the public into supporting a new front in the War on Terror: cyberspace.

Of course, exactly as was the case of 9/11, which was used as a pretext for introducing and passing (before anyone had time to read it) the voluminous, labyrinthine, constitution-destroying USAPATRIOT Act, so too will the ‘cyber 911’ be used to justify an iPATRIOT Act that will destroy any vestige of legal red tape preventing the government from tracking, tracing and controlling every movement of every citizen in cyberspace forever.

That this legislation exists and is, in fact, merely waiting for a large cyberterrorist incident to justify rushing it into law was actually admitted last year by former Counter Terrorism Czar Richard Clarke to Lawrence Lessig. “I was having dinner with Richard Clarke and I asked him if there is an equivalent [to the USAPATRIOT Act],” Lessig recounted to a technology conference in California last year. “Is there an i-PATRIOT Act just sitting waiting for some substantial event as an excuse to radically change the way the Internet works. He said, ‘Of course there is.’”

The three prongs of the attack on Internet freedom and privacy come from the military, the NSA and the Executive/Legislative branches of government. In 2003, the military labeled the Internet itself an enemy weapons system and ever since then there has been growing momentum behind various military, intelligence and governmental schemes to track and trace all movements of all Internet users, American or foreign. Last year, the Air Force attempted to establish its own cyber command, resulting in military turf wars that spawned last month a new U.S. Cyber Command and the further militarization of cyberspace. The military has even threatened a military response against any would-be hackers of government systems (unless you are North Korean, evidently).

At the same time, the NSA is jockeying to launch a new system dubbed Einstein that would see all telecoms route data traveling to or from government networks through an NSA monitoring box. This is on top of existing programs like Pinwale and Stellar Wind, which have already given them legal access to secretly spy on billions of communications records. Now Mike McConnell is back on the fear mongering trail telling anyone who will listen that if the NSA doesn’t have the authority to examine everyone’s search history, private emails and file transfers, then there will be a (you guessed it) “cyber 9/11.”

The third prong of the attack comes from America’s own elected representatives. Even back in 2007 the powerful think tank known as the Center for Strategic and International Studies was already preparing for the coming Obama presidency, convening a yearlong panel that issued a report called Securing Cyberspace for the 44th Presidency, which contained the following chilling passage under the heading Regulate cyberspace: “Voluntary action is not enough. The United States must assess and prioritize risks and set minimum standards for securing cyberspace in order to ensure that the delivery of critical services in cyberspace continues if the United States is attacked.”

Now, Jay Rockefeller is attempting to do just that with a bill that would kick start this process of setting ‘minimum standards’ for cybersecurity over to an advisory panel filled with globalists, corporate chieftains and hand-picked academics. Rockefeller tried to drum up his own support for the bill by reaching new heights of hysterical fear mongering over the Net, even going so far as to say the Internet should never have existed. Obama is getting in on the act as well, threatening to pick a new ‘cyber czar’ who is conspicuous for having taken every opportunity during his time in Congress to vote for the expansion of NSA spying programs and authorities.

The entire cyberterror hysteria seems to have reached a peak in the last month, with the announcement of U.S. Cyber Command, the impending vote on Rockefeller’s bill and the naming of Obama’s cyber czar expected to occur in the near future.

Up until last week, there has only been one problem: there has been no clear mandate for any of this hysterical rush toward increased government snooping and regulation on the Internet. The American public is becoming disgusted with Obama’s continuation of the NSA spying program and has been unwilling to get behind giving up their online liberties in exchange for protection from the threat of teenage hackers and Russian spambots. The former head of the National Cybersecurity Center resigned this March citing “threats to the democratic process from the NSA’s attempts to dominate all governmental cybersecurity efforts. Wired even ran a story detailing how the U.S. Cyber Command is an agency without a purpose, function or mission that has been trying to find a reason for existing.

Now along comes a relatively unsophisticated DDOS attack from what may or may not be North Korea (there is no proof for the origin of the attack other than the government’s say-so) and suddenly it all seems justified: the creation of new branches of the military to deal with cyberwarfare and even create sophisticated new cyberweapons for destroying hackers and rogue governments; the NSA programs to track and trace all searches, file transfers and communications of seemingly everyone on the planet; Rockefeller’s legislation to appoint big business and globalists to advise on mandatory communications regulations. It seems that Obama and the NSA have more to gain from these attacks than do the North Koreans.

Of course, the capability (and presumably the intention) to monitor every electronic communication passing through the United States in real time has long existed. What we are seeing now is the revelation of long-established policies and technologies to a public that may have rejected them before. The Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) of 1994 already mandated that every communications device in the country be accessible by law enforcement, and it has now been mainstream news for years that the FBI can (and has) dialed into cellphones to listen in on any conversations taking place within reach of the microphone . . . even if the power is turned off. In 2006, an AT&T whistleblower revealed an NSA spy room directly in the data hub monitoring every email, every phone call and every fax traveling through that hub. In 2008, it was admitted that part of the NSA’s efforts to catch Al-CIAda included agents passing around particularly humorous phone sex conversations between US military overseas and their wives back home.

No, the capability of spying on all communications of all Americans is not being developed now; that has already happened. Right now we are witnessing the implementation of the phase in which the capability to track and trace all communications are being introduced to the public and justified on the grounds of national security. Expect to see an increasing number of media-hyped “cyberattack” stories before the cyber 9/11 makes the iPATRIOT Act a reality.

Of course, it should be obvious by now that those in charge of multi-billion dollar agencies are in positions to directly materially benefit from just such large, stunning cyberattacks, opening the door to the false-flag mentality by which attacks are to be welcomed for their transformative nature. Certainly the NSA is not building a $1.6 billion data center to sit on their hands waiting for an attack, nor are the governments of the UK, Canada, Ireland and many other countries suddenly considering draconian new e-spying legislation for the fun of it.

For those who are interested in how a false-flag cyber terrorist attack could be generated, the PTech story remains a crucial piece of the puzzle. The technology exists for those in the know to commit sophisticated, convincing and devastating attacks through the government’s own cyber infrastructure. The only question is who has the means, motive and opportunity to use it.

Former Ptech Officer Arrested for SBA Loan Fraud
http://boston.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/pressrel09/bs071509.htm

Indictment Unsealed Charges Former Ptech President with Dealing in Assets of Specially Designated Global Terrorist

BOSTON—A former resident of Somerville, Mass. who has been living in South Korea was arrested today after arriving at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.

An indictment, originally returned on March 1, 2007, was unsealed today charging Buford George Peterson and Oussama Abdul Ziade, both former officers of Ptech, Inc., a computer software company that was principally located in Quincy, Mass., with making false statements to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in connection with a loan application in the amount of $650,000 for Ptech submitted under a program offered to assist small businesses economically harmed by the attacks of September 11, 2001. The indictment charges Peterson and Ziade with falsely representing the identities of Ptech’s major shareholders in this loan application to conceal the ownership interest in Ptech held by a Specially Designated Global Terrorist, Yassin Kadi aka Yassin Al-Kadi aka Yassin Al-Qadi aka Yassin Qadi (Kadi) through Sarmany Limited, a company Kadi owned and controlled. Ziade served as Ptech’s President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of its Board of Directors from February 1994 to 2003 while Peterson served as Ptech’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer from February 2001 to August 2002.

Acting U.S. Attorney Michael K. Loucks; Bruce M. Foucart, Special Agent in Charge of Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Office of Investigations in Boston; Warren T. Bamford, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation - Boston Field Office; and Susan Dukes, Special Agent in Charge of the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation - Boston Field Office, announced today that a seven-count indictment, originally returned on March 1, 2007, was unsealed charging Peterson and Ziade with making false statements to the SBA in Ptech’s loan application in January 2002 when they falsely represented the identity of the major stockholders of Ptech (those owning 20 percent or more of stock) by omitting in Ptech’s stock ownership table any reference to Sarmany Limited, a company owned and controlled by Kadi. The indictment also charges Ziade with engaging in transactions involving, and dealing in, the property of Kadi, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist, and making false statements to law enforcement during the investigation of Ptech.

According to the indictment, beginning in or about 1994 and continuing until or about 2001, Kadi, a Saudi Arabian national, invested approximately $10 million dollars in Ptech through companies he owned, controlled or in which he held a beneficial interest. On Oct. 12, 2001, pursuant to Executive Order 13224, entitled “Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism,” which was issued in response to the attacks of September 11, 2001, the United States government designated Kadi as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist. As a result, any transaction involving, or dealing in, any interest in any property, direct or indirect, held by Kadi, and subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, was prohibited.

As of Oct. 12, 2001, the date of Kadi’s designation, Kadi owned and controlled a large percentage of Ptech common shares. The indictment alleges that “Kadi held that interest in the names of [foreign] entities he owned and controlled or in which he held a beneficial interest...  At the time of his designation, Ziade knew that Kadi held an interest in Ptech stock issued in the names of Kadi’s entities.” According to the indictment, “on or about Nov. 29, 2001, Ziade drafted a capitalization table identifying Kadi as the owner of approximately 9.9 million dollars worth of Ptech common shares, which had been issued by Ptech in the names of Kadi’s entities.” The indictment further alleges that Ziade “engaged in transactions designed in whole or in part to conceal the source and ownership of Ptech's assets and common stock.”

If convicted on these charges, Peterson faces up to 30 years in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release and a $1 million fine.

Also unsealed today was a criminal complaint issued on July 27, 2005 charging Ziade with attempting to engage in transactions involving, and dealing in, the property of Kadi, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist; knowingly making false statements to the SBA in a loan application submitted on behalf of Ptech; and making false statements to law enforcement. Ziade, a Lebanese national, has been living outside of the country since 2005.

If arrested and convicted of the charges in the indictment, Ziade also faces up to 30 years in prison, to be followed by five years supervised release and a $1 million fine.

The case was jointly investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation. The Medford Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, U.S. Secret Service, Office of Foreign Asset Control of the U.S. Department of Treasury, and U.S. Small Business Administration also provided assistance in the investigation. It is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys B. Stephanie Siegmann and Jeffrey Auerhahn of Loucks’ Anti-Terrorism and National Security Unit.

The details contained in the indictment are allegations. The defendants are presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Feds: Former Quincy execs hid ties to man on terror list

By Associated Press Wednesday, July 15, 2009 - Added 1h ago

Federal authorities have accused two former executives of a Massachusetts software company of concealing financial ties to a man on the government’s terrorism list. The Quincy office of PTech, Inc., was raided by federal agents in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. [Old info we were talking about] Indictments were unsealed Wednesday against PTech’s former chief executive, Oussama Ziade, and former chief financial officer Buford George Peterson. They are accused of trying to conceal in a loan application an approximately $10 million financial interest in the company held by Yassin Kadi (KAH’-dee). Kadi is a Saudi Arabian on the Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Global Terrorists. The U.S. Attorney’s office says Peterson was arrested Wednesday after arriving at New York’s Kennedy Airport. It wasn’t known if he has an attorney. Prosecutors said Ziade is living overseas. [Yeah in the House of Saud!]

Are you talking about the past?  Because Ptech in name as a company has changed to several other names worldwide, and one in the US that I am aware of.

Elaborate/clarify yourself here.  Btw I will start removing ill-thought out and nonrelated posts to this thread.

I expect anyone who posts in this to fully read the entire document and respiond based on that, otherwise do not waste space here.  It does not matter if most of it seems dry or boring or irrelevant to you.  I assure you it is infinitely applicable to everyone on the planet, with monumentally grave implications.

CBP Unmanned Aircraft Leading Surveillance Operation on Northern Border

Jun 22, 2009 (DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY DOCUMENTS AND PUBLICATIONS/ContentWorks via COMTEX) -- (Thursday, June 18, 2009) Fort Drum, N.Y. -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of Air and Marine announced today that one of its unmanned aircraft has deployed to Fort Drum, N.Y. to perform surveillance operations along the maritime border of Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence Seaway, and land border of New York and Ontario.

CBP currently has five Predator B unmanned aircraft that provide unique border security surveillance capacity through superior optical equipment coupled with extended flight duration. A CBP fixed wing advanced surveillance aircraft, the P-3, also has been assigned to the task.

The New York deployment is part of a multi-agency effort called Operation Empire Shield. The operation is designed to demonstrate unmanned aircraft operations and evaluate law enforcement coordination concepts over both land and maritime environments at the Northern Border.

Lessons learned during this deployment will be a foundation for our future basing and deployment strategies for our unmanned aircraft system," said Michael Kostelnik, CBP assistant commissioner for air and marine operations. "This is a significant capability to bring to this region and is crucial to meeting the goals of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Secure Border Initiative.

CBP's unmanned aircraft typically fly up to 20 hours at speeds of up to 250 knots at an altitude of up to 27,000 feet while carrying up to 3,000 pounds of sensors for land, water and night surveillance and tracking.

U. S. tries unmanned planes to patrol border
Posted By JOHN ROBBINS , REVIEW STAFF WRITER
Posted 19 days ago

Big Brother has been watching.

For the past 2 1 /2 weeks, the U. S. Customs and Border Protection Agency has been operating an unmanned aerial surveillance aircraft along the international border from a base at Fort Drum, near Watertown, N. Y.

The missions flown by the remotely controlled Predator B were part of a multi-agency effort known as Operation Empire Shield, to explore the feasibility of using unmanned aircraft to patrol the Canada-U. S. boundary in the Great Lakes region.

Operation Empire Shield was also an opportunity to evaluate use of remote sensing technology in co-operation with law enforcement agencies on both sides of the border, said Steve Sapp, a spokesman for U. S. Customs and Border Protection in New York City.

"We decided we wanted to test the Great Lakes region to see if it was compatible with the aircraft," Sapp told The Niagara Falls Review.

"We reached out to our law enforcement partners and said, 'Listen, we're going to be out there. If you need us to take a look at anything, we can do it for you, just let us know.'"

The Predator B aircraft, normally based in North Dakota, began its temporary assignment flying out of Fort Drum -a large U. S. military base south of the St. Lawrence River near Kingston - on June 8.

The operation was to have wrapped up Thursday.

U. S. Customs and Border Protection currently has five Predator B unmanned aircraft, mostly deployed along the southern border with Mexico. There the surveillance operations have been a highly effective tool in stemming the tide of illegal immigrants and narcotics, officials say.

The Predator B is manufactured by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. Weighing as much as 4,700 kilograms, the aircraft can travel at speeds up to 418 km/h at altitudes up to 15 kilometres.

The aircraft, equipped with an array of advanced optical and electronic sensors for daylight and nighttime surveillance, can fly for up to 20 hours without having to refuel.

"It has extraordinary endurance," said Sapp. "It provides us an eye-in-the-sky for operational awareness."

Sapp wouldn't provide details of the missions flown by the aircraft during its stay at Fort Drum.

"I can't give you specifics, but I can tell you we did participate in surveillance of things for other law enforcement jurisdictions while we were up there."

Asked if the aircraft had flown in the Niagara area, Sapp said: "It's likely that we did go over Niagara. We did spend most of our time over water and around the land border. "

Planning and co-ordination needed to execute even a temporary deployment of the Predator B is extensive, including obtaining approvals from the U. S. Federal Aviation Administration, Sapp explained.

"Once the FAA gives us approval, we still need to file flight plans with the FAA to let them know when we're going to launch, where we're going to fly to, what course and track we're going to take, how long we intend to be up there."

Lessons learned through Operation Empire Shield will help guide decisions about long-term deployments of unmanned aircraft systems, said Michael Kostelnik, the agency's assistant commissioner for air and marine operations.

"This is a significant capability to bring to this region and is crucial to meeting the goals of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security's Secure Border Initiative," Kostelnik said.

OTTAWA — Another stretch of the Canada-U.S. border is now being patrolled by an unmanned Predator B drone, another step in Homeland Security’s plan to have the planes eventually flying over the longest undefended border in the world.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s office of Air and Marine have announced that a Predator drone plane has begun flights out of Fort Drum, N.Y., at the eastern end of Lake Ontario.

The plane is being deployed to conduct surveillance operations along the maritime border between Ontario and New York state in Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence Seaway and the border at the Niagara River.

Under Operation Empire Shield, the entire Canada-U.S. border will be eventually be subject to such flights by Predator drone planes.

The Predator project began last summer flying out of a base in Grand Forks, N.D.

The unmanned aircraft typically fly missions of 20 hours at a time at speeds of up to 450 km/h at an altitude of up to 27,000 feet carrying up to 3,000 pounds of sensors for land, water and night surveillance and tracking.

The drones are controlled from remote locations in California and Arizona.

Although the 230th Signal Battalion Headquarters was located in Tennessee, New York State still called upon its two remaining Signal Companies whose members consisted of signalers who had previously served in units now inactivated; 242nd Signal Battalion, 101st Signal Battalion and 187th Signal Brigade.  These Signalers were called to duty during the Ice Storm of January 1999.  Both companies were activated from 20 to 26 January 1999, they served the State and the communities in the Northern regions of New York, along the Canadian border as 50,000 homes were left without power.  On Tuesday, 11 September 2001, after terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., Signalers from Companies B and C were called into State Active Duty to provide support to New York City.  They worked tirelessly with the New York Police Department and New York Fire Department in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks.  Since that date Signalers have been called upon to volunteer in Operation Iraqi Freedom and many have responded to the call with honor and dignity representing the true spirit of citizen soldiers.

Equipment from HHC and A Companies, 230th Signal Battalion, Tennessee was transferred to New York, under the control of the 53rd Troop Command during the period 1 May 2003 and 30 September 2003. On 1 September 2003 the 101st Signal Battalion was organized in a carrier status allowing for the reconstitution of the Battalion.  On 1 August 2004, LTC Jacqueline Russell was appointed the 101st Signal Battalion Commander.  While on Federal service during Operation Empire Shield, Republican National Convention, on September 1st 2004, the 101st Signal Battalion was reactivated and once again Federally recognized as an active element of the New York Army National Guard, with Headquarters and Headquarters Company stationed at Camp Smith, Company A at Poughkeepsie, Company B at Yonkers, and Company C at Orangeburg.

On 01 November 2005 the Battalion Headquarters and Headquarters Company relocated to Yonkers, New York.  On September 2006 the Battalion was authorized to transform into a new Integrated Theater Signal Battalion (ITSB-J) or Expeditionary Signal Battalion.  On 01 October 2006 was placed under the control of the 369th Sustainment Brigade, within 53rd Troop Command.  On 01 November 2006 LTC Thomas J. Kilmartin was selected as the new Battalion Commander.

The Battalion continues to train its men and women for wartime missions and maintains a ready status to handle any domestic or national emergencies that may occur."

Ex-Boeing engineer convicted of spying for China
http://rawstory.com/news/afp/Ex_Boeing_engineer_convicted_of_spy_07162009.html
Published: Thursday July 16, 2009

A Chinese-born former Boeing engineer who became a US citizen was convicted by a US court Thursday of spying for China.

Dongfan 'Greg' Chung, 73 and a resident of Orange County, California, who was employed by Rockwell International was found guilty of acting as an agent for the Beijing government for which he stole Boeing technologies -- including those related to NASA's space shuttle program -- and confidential business information.

From 1973 on, Chung worked at Rockwell where the defense and space unit he worked in ultimately was purchased by Boeing in 1996.

After a three-week trial judge Cormac Carney "found Chung guilty of conspiracy to commit economic espionage, six counts of economic espionage to benefit a foreign country, one count of acting as an agent of the People?s Republic of China and one count of making false statements to the FBI," a court statement said.

Prosecutors said Chung stole and hid Boeing trade secrets related to the space shuttle and the Delta IV rocket programs.

Chung, who was arrested in February 2008, was to remain in custody pending sentencing November 9.

Salvador Hernandez, Assistant Director In Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Los Angeles, said that "the cost of Mr Chung's traitorous actions to American security and the economy cannot be quantified, but have now been exposed, and his ability to exploit critical technology has come to an end.

"FBI counter intelligence agents and NASA received the full cooperation of the Boeing Company in building this three-year investigation, the successful outcome of which marks the first conviction by trial under the Economic Espionage Act of 1996," Hernandez added.

"I'm confident this milestone conviction will serve as a deterrent to would-be spies contemplating theft of precious US secrets."

EYE IN THE SKY, FEET GROUNDED
PREPARE FOR TAKEOFF: Border protection drone stationed at Fort Drum
By KARA CLARK
JOHNSON NEWSPAPERS
FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2009

When pilot Erik R. Soykan, air interdiction agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, prepares for takeoff, he goes step by step through the preflight checklist just like any other pilot.

However, while his aircraft speeds down the runway and reaches into the sky, Mr. Soykan stays safely on the ground.

The Predator B unmanned aircraft, one of seven owned by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, was showcased Thursday at Fort Drum's Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield. Used to perform surveillance operations along the nation's borders, the Predator was recently deployed to Fort Drum as part of Operation Empire Shield.

The unmanned aircraft has been temporarily based at Wheeler-Sack Airfield since June 8 and will fly patrols from Fort Drum until the end of the month, said John P. Stanton, executive director of the CBP's National Air Security Operations.

While here, the aircraft is performing missions along the St. Lawrence Seaway, Lake Ontario and the land border between New York and Ontario. CBP officers will evaluate whether the Predator is necessary for wider use along the U.S.-Canadian border.

Mr. Stanton said data will be taken of the days the Predator flew, how many hours a day and how many requests came in from law enforcement agencies for surveillance.

"Virtually every day we have flown here, we've been asked to look at specific things, whether it's a boat target or for an investigation," he said.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has used the remote-controlled Predator B on the Mexican border for several years. The agency began flying the first Predator on the northern border out of Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota in February.

"Lessons learned during this deployment will be a foundation for our future basing and deployment strategies for our unmanned aircraft system," said Michael Kostelnik, the agency's assistant commissioner for air and marine operations.

The plan to use the drones is a holdover from the 9/11 Commission Report, which recommended tighter security along borders with Mexico and Canada. The agency is using other high-tech equipment, including a network of video cameras and camouflaged ground sensors that detect heat, motion and metal.

The area the Predator has been watching includes the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation, which straddles the U.S.-Canadian border near Massena and is sliced in two by the St. Lawrence River. Its location has made the reservation a gateway for smugglers at least since Prohibition.

Mr. Stanton said he could not comment on whether any arrests have been made as a result of information collected on missions.

Fort Drum was chosen to temporarily house the Predator B because of its restricted fly zone, minimizing risks of collision, and its proximity to the northern border, Mr. Stanton said.

The craft uses full-motion video cameras, infrared technology to view changes in temperature and advanced "synthetic aperture" radar, which makes maps of areas on which the aircraft can record all the necessary information for investigations. Mr. Stanton compared the synthetic aperture radar to a state trooper's speed gun, shooting back images in "fractions of a second."

He said it is especially helpful to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

"By flying in advance of a hurricane or flood, we were able to get a (pre-damage) map," Mr. Stanton said.

Another useful feature is its ability to track information even in the middle of the night.

"We can tell if people are trying to cross the border," Mr. Stanton said, referring to the use of the infrared camera.

The Predator B typically flies at about 19,000 feet. It can stay in the air for about 20 hours and reach speeds of up to 290 mph.

The CBP owns seven Predators. Three are based in Arizona and patrol the U.S.-Mexican border. Two others are in California and being converted for marine surveillance. The CBP estimates 18 unmanned aircraft could adequately cover the nation's southern and northern borders, Stanton said.

The unmanned aircraft will be on display at the 24th annual Mountainfest on June 27, before leaving the area.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Customs agents plan to fly an unmanned plane over border
U.S. border agents already patrolling North Dakota-Saskatchewan border
John Ackermann VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) 2009-07-09 08:10

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Security along the "longest undefended border in the world" is about to get that much tighter as American customs agents have plans to fly an unmanned spy plane over the Canada/U.S. border.

A pair of unmanned Predator-B spy planes have been flying trial runs above the North Dakota-Saskatchewan border. But U.S. Customs and Border Protection warns there are plans to someday have one fly over B.C. to catch those trying to use aircraft to move marijuana.

What makes the Predator unique is it can fly more than 20 hours without stopping and needs only two people on the ground to run it.

It's all part of recent Homeland Security initiative called "Operation Empire Shield" an effort which follows recent beefed up passport requirements at the border.

Big Brother watching the Canada-US border?

The Ottawa Citizen reports that the United States is testing “formidable spy technology” over the skies of upstate New York and Eastern Ontario. An unmanned Predator B aircraft, equipped with leading edge surveillance equipment, including “advanced optical equipment and infrared sensors,” will keep its all-seeing electronic eye on the ground and waterways between Buffalo and Cornwall, watching for “terrorists, drug runners and other criminal elements.” According to the Citizen, during a test run last month, the plane was able to beam live video back to Washington, DC. ” The operation launched last month as part of Homeland Security’s “Operation Empire Shield.”

It is really unfortunate that the "let's play war" guys are constantly getting their way with this madness. All of these new "security" measures were on a shelf somewhere in Washington long before 9/11, but they met with sound, sensible opposition before the big event. Now they've convinced the public that nothing is too intrusive or expensive to protect the "empire". It's happening here too.

Recently I saw a news report of police responding to an alleged gun sighting incident in Brampton. They had about 30 guys with huge helmets and tinted visors and batons and curved shields that were nearly as tall as the men. It was quite a sight to see them advancing on some derelict townhouse, in lock-step. Once they established that there was no gun, the remaining footage covered their retreat. It looked a bunch of battle weary warriors returning from the Crusades. Every cop car was all blacked-out and stealth and had big steel tubing structures in place of the bumpers.

What's the idea there, ramming through barricades? The whole scene looked like children playing some silly war game. This has gone way too far and we, just like the Yanks, will regret the day we handed this much power to people who know no limits to this nonsense. If you look hard enough for trouble, you'll find some.

U.S. spy aircraft could soon patrol border in B.C.

Eye-in-the-sky aimed to detect terrorists, drug runners and other criminal elements

By David Karp, Vancouver SunJuly 8, 2009

U.S. spy technology being tested high above the Canada-U.S. border could soon be in use along the B.C. border.

Two Predator B aircraft are flying along the North Dakota-Saskatchewan border, with plans to run the aircraft all across the U.S.-Canada border, said Juan Munoz-Torres, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) spokesman from Washington, D.C.

“Eventually, we would like to fly them all along the northern border, from Maine to Seattle,” said Munoz-Torres. “We are probably going to do operations along the border. It’s just a matter of time.”

Manned aircraft currently patrol the border.

“We have a helicopter and we also have a Cessna. We look for other smuggling vehicles in the air,” said Danielle Suarez, CBP senior patrol agent in Spokane, Wash. “We’ve seen an increase in people using aircraft to smuggle B.C. bud in here.”

Munoz-Torres said the camera capabilities of the Predator are identical to manned aircraft already in use — the difference is that the Predator can fly for more than 20 hours without stopping, and only requires a crew of two people on the ground to operate it.

In the latest thickening of the international boundary, an unmanned Predator B aircraft was launched last month under a Homeland Security mission code-named Operation Empire Shield, part of the post-9-11 push to secure U.S. borders with advanced technology, from radiation detectors to biometrics.

On June 20, the Predator, plus two CBP unmanned aircraft over North Dakota and Arizona, were all remotely piloted by a CBP crew at the agency’s air and marine operations centre in Riverside, Calif. CBP says all performed "law enforcement missions" and streamed video of the events to the congressmen, government officials and police.

The June test flights follow new U.S. border security measures unveiled last month, including passport requirements at land border crossings and a planned 45-per-cent increase in U.S. border guards along the northern frontier by fall 2010.

A civilian version of the armed unmanned aircraft used by the military, the Predator typically flies at up to 250 knots at an altitude of 5,700 metres while carrying up to 1,360 kilograms of sensors for land and maritime surveillance, day or night. It can operate at altitudes of up to 15,000 metres.

How long before the drug runners steal this same unmanned plane technology to run the drugs too? They already use planes, choppers, SUV's..... they were all military technology at one time.

There is not nearly enough crime to warrant such an expense or such a violation of sovereignty or privacy or good will between nations and peoples. It would be far cheaper to just ignore crime. There is no good excuse or bad lie that could possibly justify such an obvious act of war. wake up!

It used to be that you could look to the US and be envious of their freedom. Now, they've been successful in cracking the nut and ensuring paranoia in their citizens. This is resulting in the erosion of freedom, yet no one seems to notice. I wonder what's going to happen when they do? I wonder if they realize that the world is no longer envious of them?

^ we already sell these things to Pakistanis, Indians, Israeis, Chinese, etc.  I also believe we sell it to warring groups within countries. There are a few incidents in the Middle East where they cannot confirm whose drone shot down whose other's drone.

These thinks are going to be all around like AK-47's in no time, it is so fricking insane!

9/11 and Cyberterrorism: Did the real “cyber 9/11″ happen on 9/11?

http://www.infowars.com/911-and-cyberterrorism-did-the-real-cyber-911-happen-on-911/

James Corbett
The Corbett Report
July 17, 2009

Government sources immediately began blaming North Korea for the recent cyberterror attacks on South Korea and the U.S., despite having no evidence to back up those claims. Now, an examination of the evidence by independent computer experts show that the attack seems to have been coordinated from the UK. The hysterical media coverage in the attack’s wake, however, echoing the government line that it was likely the work of North Korea, served to cement in the minds of many that this was an act of cyberwarfare.

Back in 2003, Mike McConnell, the ex-director of the National Security Agency (NSA), was fearmongering over the possibility of a cyber attack “equivalent to the attack on the World Trade Center” if a new institution were not created to oversee cyber security.

The idea that this surprisingly unsophisticated attack could have come from a well-organized, hostile state or terrorist group comes as a blessing in disguise to those groups, agencies and advisors who have been calling for greater and greater federal snooping powers in the name of stopping a “cyber 9/11″ from happening.

The “cyber 9/11″ meme stretches back almost to 9/11 itself. Back in 2003, Mike McConnell, the ex-director of the National Security Agency (NSA), was fearmongering over the possibility of a cyber attack “equivalent to the attack on the World Trade Center” if a new institution were not created to oversee cyber security. Since then, report after report has continued to use the horror of 9/11 as a way of raising public hysteria over “cyber terrorism,” a subject more often associated with juvenile hackers and lone misfits than radical terrorist organizations.

The real reason behind the invocation of 9/11 in the context of “cyber terror” was revealed last year by Harvard law professor Lawrence Lessig. He told a technology conference that former counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke admits there is a cyber equivalent of the constitution-destroying Patriot Act ready to be rubber stamped into law; all it requires is a “cyber 9/11″ to make such legislation politically viable. In effect, the cyber security establishment—the advisors, agents and experts in the newly-minted multi-billion dollar cyber security industry—are waiting for a spectacular cyber terrorist attack to go ahead with plans for ‘identity management’ schemes like fingerprinting for internet access which would put an end to the free Internet as we have known it.

What the cyber security establishment does not want you to know is that the most incredible cyber terrorist story of all time began 15 years ago. And it centers on 9/11. The establishment is interested in suppressing this story because it demonstrates that the very investigative bodies that are clamoring for more power on the pretext of the “cyber terror” hysteria are the exact same bodies that failed to investigate the documentable links between government-designated terrorists and a software company with direct access to some of the most sensitive computer systems in the United States. FBI agents whose investigation into this story were suppressed have even said that these investigations could have prevented 9/11.

It is a story of international terror and terrorist financiers. It stretches from New England to Saudi Arabia and involves businessmen, politicians and terror networks. And it begins in the most unlikely of places: the offices of an enterprise architecture software firm in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Enterprise Architecture: The God’s-Eye View of Systems and Infrastructure

“Enterprise architecture software” refers to a computer program that allows someone to look at all of the data produced throughout an organization’s structure in real time. This effectively gives the program user a god’s-eye view of an enterprise, allowing for the mapping, visualization and analysis of all transactions, interactions, systems, processes and personnel in the entirety of a business or agency. This type of software could, for example, be used for robust business modeling, allowing for extremely detailed and accurate projections of how changes in an organization’s structure or processes would effect a business’ bottom line. What would happen if two departments were merged, for example, or if a business were to outsource one of its processes.

As this software began to mature in the 1990s, however, it went from a merely useful tool to something truly incredible. Sophisticated enterprise architecture software could, for example, examine all of the transactions taking place across a financial institution in real time and examine that data for possible money laundering operations or rogue traders. Such software could even have potentially detected and identified the  insider trading leading up to 9/11. Combined with rudimentary a.i. capabilities, such a program would not only be able to alert the appropriate personnel about such transactions, but even stop them as they are happening. If the software were sophisticated enough, it may even be able to identify the possibility of such transactions before they happen.

The utility of such software for organizations of all stripes should be obvious enough. It is unsurprising, then, that  numerous government agencies and powerful corporations were hungry for this software in the 1990s. A surprising number of them, including DARPA, the FBI, the Secret Service, the White House, the Navy, the Air Force, the FAA, NATO, IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton and Price Waterhouse Coopers (amongst many others) turned to a small New England-based software firm called Ptech.

Ptech: Not Your Average Software Firm

Ptech was founded in Quincy, Mass. in 1994 and by 1996 had secured a contract with DARPA to help transfer commercial software methodologies to the defense sector. In 1997, it gained security clearance to bid on sensitive military contracts and bid on work for a range of other government agencies. Within four years Ptech had built up a stable of clients that would make any third-party software vendor green with envy. From the inner sanctum of the White House to the headquarters of the FBI, from the basement of the FAA to the boardroom of IBM, some of the best-secured organizations in the world running on some of the most protected servers housing the most sensitive data welcomed Ptech into their midst. Ptech was given the keys to the cyber kingdom to build detailed pictures of these organizations, their weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and to show how these problems could be exploited by those of ill intent. For all of its incredible success, however, many of the firm’s top investors and employees were men with backgrounds that should have been raising red flags at all levels of the government.

The firm was founded on $20 million of startup money, $5 million of which was provided by Yassin al-Qadi, a wealthy and well-connected Saudi businessman who liked to brag about his acquaintance with Dick Cheney. He also had connections to various Muslim charities suspected of funding international terrorism. In the wake of 9/11 he was officially declared a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. government and his assets were frozen. At the time, Ptech’s owners and senior management denied that al-Qadi had any involvement with the company other than his initial investment, but the FBI now maintains they were lying and that in fact al-Qadi continued investing millions of dollars in the company through various fronts and investment vehicles. Company insiders told FBI officials that they were flown to Saudi Arabia to meet Ptech’s investors in 1999 and that al-Qadi was introduced as one of the owners. It has also been reported that Hussein Ibrahim, Ptech’s chief scientist, was al-Qadi’s representative at Ptech and al-Qadi’s lawyers have admitted that al-Qadi’s representative may have continued to sit on Ptech’s board even after 9/11.

Ibrahim himself was a former president of BMI, a New Jersey-based real estate investment firm that was also one of the initial investors in Ptech and provided financing for Ptech’s founding loan. Ptech leased office space and computer equipment from BMI and BMI  shared office space in New Jersey with Kadi International, owned and operated by none other than Ptech’s sweetheart investor and Specially Designated Global Terrorist, Yassin al-Qadi. In 2003, counterterrorism czar  Richard Clarke said: “BMI held itself out publicly as a financial services provider for Muslims in the United States, its investor list suggests the possibility this facade was just a cover to conceal terrorist support.”

Suheil Laheir was Ptech’s chief architect. When he wasn’t writing the software that would provide Ptech with detailed operational blueprints of the most sensitive agencies in the U.S. government, he was writing articles in praise of Islamic holy war. He was also fond of quoting Abdullah Azzam, Osama Bin Laden’s mentor and the head of Maktab al-Khidamat, which was the precursor to Al-Qaeda.

That such an unlikely cast of characters were given access to some of the most sensitive agencies in the U.S. federal government is startling enough. That they were operating software that allowed them to map, analyze and access every process and operation within these agencies for the purpose of finding systemic weak points is equally startling. Most disturbing of all, though, is the connection between Ptech and the very agencies that so remarkably failed in their duty to protect the American public on September 11, 2001.

Ptech on 9/11: The Basement of the FAA

For two years prior to 9/11, Ptech was working to identify potential problems or weaknesses in the FAA’s response plans to events like a terrorist hijacking of a plane over U.S. airspace. According to their own business plan for their contract with the FAA, Ptech was given access to every process and system in the FAA dealing with their crisis response protocols. This included examining key systems and infrastructure to analyze the FAA’s “network management, network security, configuration management, fault management, performance management, application administration, network management and user desk help operations.” In short, Ptech had free reign to examine every FAA system and process for dealing with the exact type of event that was to occur on 9/11. Even more incredible, researcher Indira Singh points out that Ptech was specifically analyzing the potential interoperability problems between the FAA, NORAD and the Pentagon in the event of an emergency over U.S. airspace.

Ptech also presumably had operational information about the systems that the FAA, NORAD and others employed during crisis response exercises like Vigilant Guardian, the NORAD exercise that was taking place on 9/11 and included simulations of hijacked jets being flown into New York and hijacked jets being flown into government buildings. This is significant because there is every indication that just such drills were confusing NORAD’s response to the real hijackings that were taking place that day. As researcher Michael Ruppert points out, a rogue agent with access to a Ptech backdoor into the FAA’s systems could have been deliberately inserting fake blips onto the FAA’s radars on 9/11. That scenario would explain the source of the phantom Flight 11 that the FAA reported to NORAD at 9:24 a.m. (well after Flight 11 had already hit the World Trade Center), a report whose source the 9/11 Commission claims they were unable to find.

In short, Ptech’s software was running on the critical systems responding to the attacks of 9/11 on 9/11 itself. The software was designed for the express purpose of giving its users a complete overview of all the data flowing through an organization in real time. The father of enterprise architecture himself, John Zachman, explained that with Ptech-type software installed on a sensitive server “You would know where the access points are, you’d know how to get in, you would know where the weaknesses are, you’d know how to destroy it.”

Stifled Investigations

In the late 1990s, Robert Wright—an FBI special agent in the Chicago field office—was running an investigation into terrorist financing called Vulgar Betrayal. From the very start, the investigation was hampered by higher-ups; the investigation was not even allocated adequate computers to carry out its work. Through Wright’s foresight and perseverance, however, the investigation managed to score some victories, including seizing $1.4 million in U.S. funds that traced back to Yassin al-Qadi. Wright was pleased when a senior agent was assigned to help investigate “the founder and the financier of Ptech“, but the agent did no work and merely pushed papers during his entire time on the case.

Shortly after the 1998 African embassy bombings, Vulgar Betrayal began to uncover a money trail linking al-Qadi to the attack. According to Wright, when he proposed a criminal investigation into the links, his supervisor flew into a rage, saying “‘You will not open criminal investigations. I forbid any of you. You will not open criminal investigations against any of these intelligence subjects.” Wright was taken off the Vulgar Betrayal investigation one year later and the investigation itself was shut down the following year.

In the aftermath of 9/11, Indira Singh—a risk management conultant for JP Morgan—was looking for enterprise architecture software to implement the next generation of risk management at the financial juggernaut. Impressed by their client list, Singh invited Ptech to demonstrate their software. It wasn’t long before she began discovering the connections between Ptech and international terrorist financing. She worked exhaustively to document and uncover these links in an effort to persuade the FBI in Boston to open their own investigation into Ptech, but she was told by one agent that she was in a better position to investigate this than someone inside the FBI. Despite the persistent efforts of Singh and the testimony of company insiders, the FBI did not inform any of the agencies contracting with Ptech that there were concerns about the company or its software.

In late 2002, Operation Green Quest—a Customs Department-led multi-agency investigation into terrorist financing—raided Ptech’s offices due to its ties to al-Qadi and others. The very same day of the raid White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer declared the company and its software safe. Mainstream news articles defending Ptech after the story broke, however, blithely admit that the company was informed of the raid weeks in advance, hoping perhaps that readers will not notice that his completely defeats the purpose of such a raid or calls into question its results. Eventually, Michael Chertoff led an effort to give the FBI total control over Greenquest, leading to Customs officials accusing him of sabotaging the investigation. No indictments were laid in the immediate aftermath of the Ptech raid against al-Qadi or anyone else related to the company. Chertoff went on to become the head of Homeland Security.

The 9/11 Commission Report, obviously, does not mention Ptech. Given the incredible information about this company and its links to Specially Designated Global Terrorist Yassin al-Qadi, this is perhaps surprising. This startling omission becomes more ominous however, when it is understood that the 9/11 Commission co-chair, Thomas Kean,  made $24 million dollars off a land deal with al-Qadi linked organization BMI.

For over a decade, investigations into Ptech, its employees and its investors have been stifled, suppressed or derailed by people in key positions. But all of that finally changed this week.

A Break in the Case

On Wednesday the Boston Field Office of the FBI unsealed a 2007 indictment of Oussama Ziade, Ptech’s former CEO, and Buford George Peterson, the former CFO and COO. The indictment charges that the pair knowingly lied to investigators about the extent of al-Qadi’s investments and ties with Ptech. Another unsealed indictment, this one from 2005, alleges Ziade attempted to engage in transactions involving al-Qadi’s property, a federal offence as al-Qadi was a Specially Designated Global Terrorist at the time. If the pair are convicted on the charges, they face 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

Whether this represents a significant breakthrough in the case and the beginning of the official unraveling of the Ptech story will likely depend on whether political pressure is brought to bear by an informed public who are concerned with this story. Given that the public has been whipped into cyber-hysteria over the North Korean figments of the government’s imagination, it will require the media to stop parroting the government’s talking points and begin informing the public about the very real, documentable links between terrorist financiers and the technological capability to override key emergency response systems on 9/11.

Two questions remain to be answered: Did the real “cyber 9/11″ happen on 9/11? And will the public care enough to demand the answer to that question? If the answer to either question is ‘yes,’ concerned readers are advised to download the mp3 file of Episode 045 of The Corbett Report podcast, “Ptech and the 9/11 software,” and begin distributing it to others to bring awareness to this incredible story.

Air Force Plans for All-Drone Future
Is the day of the hot-shot fighter jock nearly done?

An Air Force study, released without much fanfare on Wednesday, suggests that tomorrow’s dogfighers might not have pilots in the cockpit. The Unmanned Aircraft System Flight Plan. which sketches out possible drone development through the year 2047, comes with plenty of qualifiers. But it envisions a radical future. In an acronym-dense 82 pages, the Air Force explains how ever-larger and more sophisticated flying robots could eventually replace every type of manned aircraft in its inventory — everything from speedy, air-to-air fighters to lumbering bombers and tankers.

Emphasis on “might” and “could.” While revealing how robots can equal the capabilities of traditional planes, the Air Force is careful to emphasize that an all-bot air fleet is not inevitable. Rather, drones will represent “alternatives” to manned planes, in pretty much every mission category.

Some of the missions tapped for possible, future drones are currently considered sacrosanct for human pilots. Namely: dogfighting and nuclear bombing. Drones “are unlikely to replace the manned aircraft for air combat missions in the policy-relevant future,” Manjeet Singh Pardesi wrote in Air & Space Power Journal, just four years ago. Dogfighting was considered too fluid, too fast, for a drone’s narrow “situational awareness.” As for nuclear bombing: “Many aviators, in particular, believe that a ‘man in the loop’ should remain an integral part of the nuclear mission because of the psychological perception that there is a higher degree of accountability and moral certainty with a manned bomber,” Adam Lowther explained in Armed Forces Journal, in June.

Despite this, the Air Force identifies a future “MQ-Mc” Unmanned Aerial System for dogfighting, sometime after 2020. The MQ-Mc will also handle “strategic attack,” a.k.a nuke bombing. Less controversial is the conjectural MQ-L, a huge drone that could fill in for today’s tankers and transports.

But just because a drone could replace a manned plane, doesn’t necessarily mean it definitely will. “We do not envision replacing all Air Force aircraft with UAS,” Col. Eric Mathewson told Danger Room by email. “We do plan on considering UAS as alternatives to traditionally manned aircraft across a broad spectrum of Air Force missions … but certainly not all.” In other words, in coming years drones might be able to do everything today’s manned planes can do — technically speaking. But the Air Force still might find good reasons — moral, financial or otherwise — to keep people in some cockpits.

The Flight Plan represents a new twist in a heated debate raging in Congress over the Pentagon’s 3,000-strong fighter force. The legislature is split over whether to fund more F-22 fighters — a move that could draw a veto from President Barack Obama. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has long favored drone development over buying more manned fighters, and in May Joint Chiefs chair Admiral Mike Mullen predicted Gates’ position would win out, over the long term. “There are those that see [the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter] as the last manned fighter,” Mullen said. “I’m one that’s inclined to believe that.” General Atomics, which makes the popular Predator line of drones, underscored Mullen’s comment by unveiling its new, faster Predator C.

If Flight Plan proves an accurate predictor, it’s not just manned fighters (maybe) headed for extinction, but (maybe) nuclear bombers, transports, tankers … nearly all human-occupied military planes.

So, what's more important, truth or agenda?

For me it's TRUTH, by that I mean a Government that does 'the will of the people, for the people' more or less. By agenda I mean those outside the Government who're more interested in changing Government FOR PROFIT.

I'm not toally sure I like where this INFOWAR is going - I'm not too keen on being a sacrificial pawn or expendable footsoldier in just another Corporate Take-over for just another tyrant and his cronies.

I think Corbett's article is well written and am in support of the info getting out there. I just don't like spending hours on end gathering info to write an article only to not have it published...I even had to sit through a denial of service attack on these very forums for about 3 hours in order to finish the whole thing. But I am tired of ranting about this issue and think its time to move on to bigger and better things...like writing a new article! Smiley

Here's a link to the Official Air Force Press Release that was released on July 15, 2009 -- a few days after A.I. first posted the 82-page document.  I doubt if it is coincidence.  A.I. is scooping the Air Force.  Keep on getting the information out!  Thank you.
