http://www.wired.com/rawfile/2009/07/ak-47Can't say I disagree Good Gawd, Diann Finestein looks like freaking Muslim radical with that thing. I also like the Picture of Mikhail Kalashnikov, he looks very happy with his invention.

You can drop it in the mud, leave it in a stream, hand it to a ignorant person with an understanding of stone age implements and it will still work. Now that M4...not so much.

hahah, yeah the AK is one of the most sturdy/reliable assault rifles on the market, black market or not. My friend was in "Operation Iraqi freedom" and he ran out of M4a1 clips/rounds so he picked up a AK-47 and never went back to using his M4, even when his Sgt. told him too, lol. I also love how the russians modified the hell out of it, they've created a sniper rifle that's based off it, a machine gun, a smg. Soon they'll be making a grenade launcher based off the thing.

hahah, it'd be like a human carrying able AA gun (Anti-Air). I know they already have those, but Stinger's and others aren't based off the AK

Am jealous You can get an AK cheap. Now a quality Czech or Russkie made one...a bit more pricey but still cheaper than a M4. Now an old M1 or M14, man you are golden then.

Mine is pretty advanced. It will shoot under 2.5 MOA. Thats good for a 16 barrel.

* s3d1t0r drooooools The ATF will probably think of some reason why the general public won't be "allowed" to own a AA-12. Or why we won't be "allowed" to purchase the mini-grenade, fin stabilized HE warhead shotgun shells that shoot out to 175 yards. Why are the coolest toys always the hardest to come by? That's just not nice.

I am actually a fan of the Yugo variant Zastava M76, fires a 7.92mm mauser, long-stroke sniper rifle. Uses the AK reciever and all, just rechambered for a bigger round. I use it for match shooting.
