As an Alaskan, I'm wondering if this is a good or bad thing, although I haven't been following Palin at all.

Maybe you can explain to 'outsiders' about Alaskan mentality and what this means?  I know that she was a helluva lot better than Tony Knowls on her worst day.  I hated the repubs up there too.  Nasty brood.

she does not need to own a jet to have access to a jet. oh they may bug out but only because they were told to.  she had the stars of the path to queenship in her eyes and was locked and loaded down that path.  but she got derailed, big time.  if she bugs out it is because she was told to go away and STFU.

I have been away from the computer for a little bit, and a relative of mine called me to tell me "Palin resigned, what's going on?? Should I be worried"... he comes to me to ask about this sort of stuff, you see.

Well, Sane, I agree with you man. Before even looking at the news articles, or coming online and seeing e-mails from like minded friends, I had decided this point of view was correct. I told my relative that she was asked to step down, or else... she probably stepped on the wrong persons toes, and turned her friends into enemies. This is the most plausible explanation in my own opinion!

Palin Announces She Will Resign as Alaska’s Governor (Update2)
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=as_qVcM_Mif4#

By Edwin Chen and Simon Lomax

July 3 (Bloomberg) -- Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican Party vice-presidential nominee, said she is resigning her office by the end of the month.

“This decision came after much consideration,” Palin told reporters today gathered at her home in Wasilla, Alaska. “I really don’t want to disappoint anyone with this announcement.”

Palin, 45, did not give specific reasons for her decision. In her remarks, though, she said that since last year’s election, she has been subjected to the “the politics of personal destruction” through more than a dozen “frivolous” ethics complaints.

She took no questions and declined to address whether she might seek the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

Palin was little known outside Alaska when Arizona Senator John McCain last summer picked her to serve as his running mate on the Republican presidential ticket.

She was first elected to a four-year gubernatorial term in 2006. Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell will assume the governor’s office.

Split Reactions

Political observers were split over whether her decision to resign would serve Palin’s purposes should she decide to seek the presidency.

Palin “made the right decision if she is serious about running” for the White House in 2012, said Washington-based independent political analyst Charlie Cook.

“She could be a good governor or she can be a serious candidate for president, but she can’t do both well,” Cook said.

Matt Mackowiak, a Washington-based Republican consultant, said Palin can now “focus exclusively on political matters, international travel and boning up on policy.” While she will lose “some of the gravity” that comes with being a governor, “that is far outweighed by her inherent star power and the logistical freedom that she gains,” he said.

Rich Galen, a Republican political strategist who once advised former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia, questioned Palin’s move. “This hardly seems like a well thought-out strategy,” he said.

Resigning as governor is a “nutty” decision if Palin plans to run for president, said John Weaver, a former senior aide to McCain. The best preparation for a White House run is to “be a good governor and get re-elected -- not be the point guard who walks off the court,” he said.

‘Constant Surprise’

John Feehery, a one-time aide to former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, an Illinois Republican, called Palin “a source of constant surprise.”

“Only time will tell if she is a meteor flashing through the sky or a bona fide political star,” said Feehery, a Republican strategist.

Palin’s approval ratings in Alaska have fallen since she became a national political figure. In May, a poll by Hays Research Group in Anchorage found 54 percent of Alaskans had a somewhat or very positive view of her, down from 86 percent a year earlier.

Vanity Fair

Palin’s announcement came amid a fresh round of public recriminations between McCain’s inner circle and the Palin camp over the 2008 campaign -- instigated by an article in the August issue of Vanity Fair. The nearly 10,000-word piece quoted numerous McCain advisers, mostly speaking anonymously, who disparaged the Alaska governor.

In response, Palin champions, including conservative commentator Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard, accused some of McCain’s top campaign advisers of being dishonest and self- serving -- in effect trying to blame Palin for McCain’s loss in November.

Palin’s selection as McCain’s running mate last summer gave the GOP ticket a temporary boost before President Barack Obama won the November election by a comfortable margin.

As the campaign unfolded, she demonstrated a strong appeal to rank-and-file Republicans. Interviews she did with ABC news anchor Charles Gibson and CBS anchor Katie Couric, however, raised questions about her knowledge of national and international policy.

Trooper Case

During the campaign, a panel of Alaska legislators investigated Palin’s dismissal of the state’s public safety commissioner who had refused to fire a state trooper involved in a divorce and custody battle with a member of the governor’s family.

While finding the public safety chief’s firing was legal, the panel criticized Palin for demanding the trooper’s dismissal. The investigation became known as “Troopergate.”

Palin has had 18 ethics complaints filed against her, all but three of which were lodged after she returned to Alaska from the campaign trail in November. The Alaska Personnel Board, which reviews such matters, has dismissed 15 of the complaints, finding the governor did not violate any state ethics rules.

The complaints have included allegations that she misused her office for out-of-state travel and that she accepted apparel gifts from a snowmobile manufacturer that sponsors her husband, Todd Palin, a snowmobile racer.

“Political operatives” who “descended on Alaska last August digging for dirt” after her selection as McCain’s running mate were behind the charges, Palin said.

The complaints have been dismissed “but it hasn’t been cheap,” Palin said. Remaining as governor while defending ethics charges would be “wasting public dollars and state time,” she said.

This is really really not good.

All our other Governors that are not with nwo agenda are being ousted as well.  We know this is what happened.  I hope she and her family survive.

We have to put a stop before it is too late.

yup, she was a zionist neocon puppet from day one but her attitute and ego (IMO) had her f with the wrong puppet master and she is being smacked down. they may give her a chance at the limelight in 10-15 years if she is a good puppy, other than that I agree with Knave/Crank that she is history as far as anything worth talking about at the moment.

the reason that i stickied the topic is for everyone to know how they play with these characetures and used car salesman.  it is like O Fortuna by Carl Orff.

well, it is good to know then.  I take back she should be on the show if she is nwo.   Then again, it might be interesting  hahaa!   I can't say I have ever "supported" her -- but, Alaska did pass 10th Amendment Resolve and I believe a couple of other things.  Is that why she's leaving?  I read her statement... not much except wordy rhetoric.

I thought I had read everything -- sorry.  I stayed up too late last night being angry about the whole nwo thing.  In fact, I am so disgusted, I cannot believe it!  Disgusted with their filth.  And, I totally realize where Alex comes from with his anger.  Yuri says writing letters, demonstrating, etc. have no use.

Being the local tribesman, I have to say, when I saw the Israeli flag in her office, I got the chills. Nothing more creepy and kind of scary than what would appear a fairly normal person who isn't Jewish start trotting the zionist line "Because it is God's will that Israel have the land so Jesus can come back..."

All I can say is good riddance to bad rubbish and a hearty "You Betcha!".

Still, had she and McInsane™ won in 2008, the porn would have been interesting.

Thought I would give my 2 cents being an evangelical Christian myself...

While I DO support Israel, I do NOT do so OBSESSIVELY in terms of thinking about Israel 24/7, speaking out to everyone to support Israel while raising money et al, witness this specific doctrine to others, etc. What John Hagee is doing is WRONG. Whether he's really a Neocon Zionist like Joel Rosenberg, or just plain DECEIVED in his preachings, he's going to suffer consequences over the long haul. For the most part, Israel has GOD'S heavy hand of protection, so NOONE on this earth has to WORRY.

Obsessing over Israel 24/7 is no different from obsessing over your earthly material items.

I think that she is stepping down for two major reasons.

1. The Feds are going to RAPE Alaska for its many resources and its strategic location.
2. She is going to sit back and watch it happen, blame it on the incomming Governor and turn around and say, look what Washington and the Feds Did. Vote for me in 2012 and this will not happen again.   Roll Eyes

She stepped down because the FEDs wanted to bend her over and take it and the entire nation would see it and she would not look like a strong woman. She knows what is really coming and didn't want be holding the ball having to make the hard decisions.

you give her way too much credit for her intelligence and her power. she is a weak flavor of the day and does what she is told. I think she stepped out of line and got the smackdown. this was a surprise to all as she was going to assist in distracting the masses but now she has been removed from the chessboard.

as far as your assessment of the fed and alaska's resources, I would say 100% on the money

Remember when Alex had Lindsey Williams on last summer, Lindsey talked about Alaskan oil fields. Yeah, I remember him saying TPTB want to depend on the ME oil DESPITE all the massive reserves in this country, however, he mentioned something about Alaskan oil fields, but I can't remember much of what he said about them.

Anyhow - either way, everything's starting to tie together a bit - a VP candidate came from that very state of Alaska last year, and this same VP candidate is stepping down from her governor position this month for some unknown reason. You have some good points.

Yeah, most of the news from here is always about corruption amongst oil companies or the Pebble Mine. I know that Palin likes to say one thing about these issues and do something else, but like I said, I haven't been following the news as of late since I've been outside enjoying the great summer we're having.

Alaska is pretty much an exploitable resource for the gov't/media/NWO, sad to say. However, I did notice a truck as I was driving through town that had a Ron Paul sticker and, to my great surprise, a 9/11 was an inside job sticker. Glad to see that there are others who have woken up in my state. Cool

Yep, that's how I see it. These politicians at that level aren't there for any other reason than they are card-carrying members of the establishment.

What I find amusing is the political media don't seem to get it. She said she's out of politics basically and feels she can make a difference in the private sector. That doesn't preclude her from returning to politics, but I think she has no intention of doing so. And here's the media clowns spouting that she really messed up her chances at the presidency, etc. HELLO! She just gave up politics apparently. I think it's possible she saw more than she cared to and decided she wanted no part of it. I think that rabbithole got a tad too dark for her tastes.

Ms. Palin was chosen to participate in the last Presidential election for her image value and nothing more - just to make things somewhat entertaining. However, her background demonstrates that she has a rogue streak. She was theatened - and she stepped down. There were a number of things happening with her, recently, that probably put the icing on the cake as far as her ever being allowed to participate in the 'system' again without dire consequences. In the current climate, with the democratic 'fuhrer' in place, a statement like the below - given her potential as an 'image' to rally a whole lot of people regardless of her shortcomings - isn't a small deal. Who knows - maybe she even listens to Alex's show. Wink

Sarah Palin has announced that she is resigning as Governor of Alaska. At a news conference from her house this morning, the Alaska Governor said that she will give up her post in the next few weeks.

Many observers expected Palin to announce that she was not seeking re-election -- a prediction fueled by recent speculation that the Governor was preparing for 2012 Presidential bid.

But Palin's shocking announcement seems to belie plans for a Presidential run. As Josh Marshall points out at TPM, "Generally, when you run for election to a high office it's understood that you'll stick around to do the job."

The New York Times seems to think that Palin's resignation means she is gearing up to run for President. Mitchell L. Blumenthal writes:

Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska announced Thursday that she would step down by the end of the month and not seek a second term as governor, allowing her to seek the Republican nomination for president in 2012.

But many Presidential hopefuls finish up their time in office. And Palin's statement doesn't seem to hint at Presidential ambitions. In fact, the Alaska Governor vaguely stated that she would do more good "outside government", and issued some Nixonian grumblings about the press, according to a reporter at the scene to whom Palin allegedly said: "You are naive if you don't see a full-court press on the national level, picking apart a good point guard."

(Palin did, however, offer some suspiciously campaigny-sounding rhetoric:  "I'm not wired to operate under the same old politics as usual.")

It has also been noted that Palin faces ongoing ethics inquiries. It is estimated that the state of Alaska has spent nearly $300 thousand investigating ethics complaints against the Governor.

(On a hilarious note, if it turns out Palin is fleeing office in the face of something more egregious or scandalous, we would be averaging the loss of one GOP Presidential hopeful per week)

In a press release issued by her office, Palin asserted her commitment to " .. fight for our state and our country, and campaign for those who believe in smaller government, free enterprise, strong national security, support for our troops, and energy independence.”

People who know me know that besides faith and family, nothing's more important to me than our beloved Alaska. Serving her people is the greatest honor I could imagine.

I want Alaskans to grasp what can be in store for our state. We were purchased as a territory because a member of President Abe Lincoln's cabinet, William Seward, providentially saw in this great land, vast riches, beauty, strategic placement on the globe, and opportunity. He boldly looked "North to the Future". But he endured such ridicule and mocking for his vision for Alaska, remember the adversaries scoffed, calling this "Seward's Folly". Seward withstood such disdain as he chose the uncomfortable, unconventional, but RIGHT path to secure Alaska, so Alaska could help secure the United States.

Alaska’s mission – to contribute to America. We’re strategic IN the world as the air crossroads OF the world, as a gatekeeper of the continent. Bold visionaries knew this - Alaska would be part of America's great destiny.

Our destiny to be reached by responsibly developing our natural resources. This land, blessed with clean air, water, wildlife, minerals, AND oil and gas. It's energy! God gave us energy.

So to serve the state is a humbling responsibility, because I know in my soul that Alaska is of such import, for America’s security, in our very volatile world. And you know me by now, I promised even four years ago to show MY independence… no more conventional “politics as usual”.

And we are doing well! My administration's accomplishments speak for themselves. We work tirelessly for Alaskans.

We aggressively and responsibly develop our resources because they were created to be used to better our world... to HELP people... and we protect the environment and Alaskans (the resource owners) foremost with our policies.

Here’s some of the things we’ve done:

We created a petroleum integrity office to oversee safe development. We held the line FOR Alaskans on Point Thomson – and finally for the first time in decades – they’re drilling for oil and gas.

We have AGIA, the gasline project – a massive bi-partisan victory (the vote was 58 to 1!) – also succeeding as intended - protecting Alaskans as our clean natural gas will flow to energize us, and America, through a competitive, pro-private sector project. This is the largest private sector energy project, ever. THIS is energy independence.

And ACES – another bipartisan effort – is working as intended and industry is publicly acknowledging its success. Our new oil and gas “clear and equitable formula” is so Alaskans will no longer be taken advantage of. ACES incentivizes NEW exploration and development and JOBS that were previously not going to happen with a monopolized North Slope oil basin.

We cleaned up previously accepted unethical actions; we ushered in bi-partisan Ethics Reform.

We also slowed the rate of government growth, we worked with the Legislature to save billions of dollars for the future, and I made no lobbyist friends with my hundreds of millions of dollars in budget vetoes... but living beyond our means today is irresponsible for tomorrow.

We took government out of the dairy business and put it back into private-sector hands – where it should be.

We provided unprecedented support for education initiatives, and with the right leadership, finally filled long-vacant public safety positions. We built a sub-Cabinet on Climate Change and took heat from Outside special interests for our biologically-sound wildlife management for abundance.

We broke ground on the new prison.

And we made common sense conservative choices to eliminate personal luxuries like the jet, the chef, the junkets... the entourage.

And the Lt. Governor and I said "no" to our pay raises. So much success in this first term – and with this success I am proud to take credit... for hiring the right people! Our goal was to achieve a gasline project, more fair oil and gas valuation, and ethics reform in four years. We did it in two. It’s because of the people… good public servants surrounding the Governor's office, with servants' hearts and astounding work ethic... THEY are Alaska's success!

We are doing well! I wish you'd hear MORE from the media of your state's progress and how we tackle Outside interests - daily - SPECIAL interests that would stymie our state. Even those debt-ridden stimulus dollars that would force the heavy hand of federal government into our communities with an “all-knowing attitude” – I have taken the slings and arrows with that unpopular move to veto because I know being right is better than being popular. Some of those dollars would harm Alaska and harm America – I resisted those dollars because of the obscene national debt we’re forcing our children to pay, because of today’s Big Government spending; it’s immoral and doesn’t even make economic sense!

Another accomplishment – our Law Department protected states’ rights – TWO huge U.S. Supreme Court reversals came down against that liberal Ninth Circuit, deciding in OUR state’s favor over the last two weeks. We’re protectors of our Constitution – federalists protect states’ rights as mandated in 10th amendment.

But you don’t hear much of the good stuff in the press anymore, do you?

Some say things changed for me on August 29th last year – the day John McCain tapped me to be his running-mate – I say others changed.

Let me speak to that for a minute.

Political operatives descended on Alaska last August, digging for dirt. The ethics law I championed became their weapon of choice. Over the past nine months I've been accused of all sorts of frivolous ethics violations – such as holding a fish in a photograph, wearing a jacket with a logo on it, and answering reporters’ questions.

Every one – all 15 of the ethics complaints have been dismissed. We’ve won! But it hasn't been cheap - the State has wasted THOUSANDS of hours of YOUR time and shelled out some two million of YOUR dollars to respond to “opposition research” – that’s money NOT going to fund teachers or troopers – or safer roads. And this political absurdity, the “politics of personal destruction” … Todd and I are looking at more than half a million dollars in legal bills in order to set the record straight. And what about the people who offer up these silly accusations? It doesn’t cost them a dime so they’re not going to stop draining public resources – spending other peoples’ money in their game.

It’s pretty insane – my staff and I spend most of our day dealing with THIS instead of progressing our state now. I know I promised no more “politics as usual,” but THIS isn’t what anyone had in mind for ALASKA.

If I have learned one thing: LIFE is about choices!

And one chooses how to react to circumstances. You can choose to engage in things that tear down, or build up. I choose to work very hard on a path for fruitfulness and productivity. I choose NOT to tear down and waste precious time; but to build UP this state and our country, and her industrious, generous, patriotic, free people!

Life is too short to compromise time and resources... it may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: "Sit down and shut up", but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out. And a problem in our country today is apathy. It would be apathetic to just hunker down and “go with the flow”.

Nah, only dead fish "go with the flow".

No. Productive, fulfilled people determine where to put their efforts, choosing to wisely utilize precious time... to BUILD UP.

And there is such a need to BUILD up and FIGHT for our state and our country. I choose to FIGHT for it! And I'll work hard for others who still believe in free enterprise and smaller government; strong national security for our country and support for our troops; energy independence; and for those who will protect freedom and equality and LIFE... I'll work for and campaign for those PROUD to be American, and those who are INSPIRED by our ideals and won't deride them.

I WILL support others who seek to serve, in or out of office, for the RIGHT reasons, and I don't care what party they're in or no party at all. Inside Alaska – or Outside Alaska.

But I won’t do it from the Governor’s desk.

I've never believed that I, nor anyone else, needs a title to do this - to make a difference... to HELP people. So I choose, for my State and my family, more "freedom" to progress, all the way around... so that Alaska may progress... I will not seek re-election as Governor.

And so as I thought about this announcement that I wouldn’t run for re-election and what it means for Alaska, I thought about how much fun some governors have as lame ducks… travel around the state, to the Lower 48 (maybe), overseas on international trade – as so many politicians do. And then I thought – that’s what’s wrong – many just accept that lame duck status, hit the road, draw the paycheck, and “milk it”. I’m not putting Alaska through that – I promised efficiencies and effectiveness! ? That’s not how I am wired. I am not wired to operate under the same old “politics as usual.” I promised that four years ago – and I meant it.

It’s not what is best for Alaska.

I am determined to take the right path for Alaska even though it is unconventional and not so comfortable.

With this announcement that I am not seeking re-election… I’ve determined it’s best to transfer the authority of governor to Lieutenant Governor Parnell; and I am willing to do so, so that this administration – with its positive agenda, its accomplishments, and its successful road to an incredible future – can continue without interruption and with great administrative and legislative success.

My choice is to take a stand and effect change – not hit our heads against the wall and watch valuable state time and money, millions of your dollars, go down the drain in this new environment. Rather, we know we can effect positive change outside government at this moment in time, on another scale, and actually make a difference for our priorities – and so we will, for Alaskans and for Americans.

Let me go back to a comfortable analogy for me – sports… basketball. I use it because you’re naïve if you don’t see the national full-court press picking away right now: A good point guard drives through a full court press, protecting the ball, keeping her eye on the basket… and she knows exactly when to pass the ball so that the team can WIN. And I’m doing that – keeping our eye on the ball that represents sound priorities – smaller government, energy independence, national security, freedom! And I know when it’s time to pass the ball – for victory.

I have given my reasons candidly and truthfully… and my last day won’t be for another few weeks so the transition will be very smooth. In fact, we will look to swear Sean in – in Fairbanks at the conclusion of our Governor’s picnics.

I do not want to disappoint anyone with my decision; all I can ask is that you TRUST me with this decision – but it’s no more “politics as usual”.

Some Alaskans don’t mind wasting public dollars and state time. I do. I cannot stand here as your Governor and allow millions upon millions of our dollars go to waste just so I can hold the title of Governor. And my children won’t allow it either. ? Some will question the timing. ? Let’s just say, this decision has been in the works for awhile…

In fact, this decision comes after much consideration, and finally polling the most important people in my life - my children (where the count was unanimous... well, in response to asking: "Want me to make a positive difference and fight for ALL our children's future from OUTSIDE the Governor's office?" It was four "yes's" and one "hell yeah!" The "hell yeah" sealed it - and someday I'll talk about the details of that... I think much of it had to do with the kids seeing their baby brother Trig mocked by some pretty mean-spirited adults recently.) Um, by the way, sure wish folks could ever, ever understand that we ALL could learn so much from someone like Trig - I know he needs me, but I need him even more... what a child can offer to set priorities RIGHT – that time is precious... the world needs more "Trigs", not fewer.

My decision was also fortified during this most recent trip to Kosovo and Landstuhl, to visit our wounded soldiers overseas, those who sacrifice themselves in war for OUR freedom and security… we can ALL learn from our selfless Troops… they’re bold, they don’t give up, they take a stand and know that LIFE is short so they choose to NOT waste time. They choose to be productive and to serve something greater than SELF... and to build up their families, their states, our country. These Troops and their important missions – those are truly the worthy causes in this world and should be the public priority with time and resources and NOT this local / superficial wasteful political bloodsport.

May we ALL learn from them!

*((Gotta put First Things First))*

First things first: as Governor, I love my job and I love Alaska. It hurts to make this choice but I am doing what’s best for Alaska. I’ve explained why… though I think of the saying on my parents’ refrigerator that says “Don’t explain: your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe you anyway.”

But I have given my reasons… no more “politics as usual” and I am taking my fight for what’s right – for Alaska – in a new direction.

Now, despite this, I don’t want any Alaskan dissuaded from entering politics after seeing this REAL “climate change” that began in August… no, we NEED hardworking, average Americans fighting for what’s right! And I will support you because we need YOU and YOU can effect change, and I can too on the outside.

We need those who will respect our Constitution where government’s supposed to serve from the BOTTOM UP, not move toward this TOP DOWN big government take-over… but rather, will be protectors of individual rights - who also have enough common sense to acknowledge when conditions have drastically changed and are willing to call an audible and pass the ball when it’s time so the team can win! And that is what I’m doing!

Remember Alaska… America is now, more than ever, looking North to the Future. It'll be good. So God bless you, and from me and my family - to ALL Alaska - you have my heart.

And we will be in the capable hands of our Lieutenant Governor, Sean Parnell. And Lieutenant General Craig Campbell will assume the role of Lieutenant Governor. And it is my promise to you that I will always be standing by, ready to assist. We have a good, positive agenda for Alaska.

In the words of General MacArthur said, “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

Doesn't it seem like a strange coincidence that she is officially resigning on the day that the week-long national terror drill with the foreign troops takes place?  Remember how it was pointed out that 9/11, the Madrid bombing and London's 7/7 all took place during drills and exercises.

Maybe she knows something and doesn't want to be involved in the fallout.  Maybe she knows she is on the Red List and is doing what she can to protect her family.

Again, July 26th - a Sunday - is a very odd day to turn over power to the Lt. Governor.  And at a PICNIC?

TWS suggested in a recently deleted thread that Palin was not aware of NWO directives.  Au contraire, I think she is at least a useful idiot to them.  A lady in red, at least.

There won't be an election in 2012 guys if what has been happening continues - do you realize that?

And even if there is another so-called "election," it will be no more legitimate than the previous ones were:

Yeah, most of the news from here is always about corruption amongst oil companies or the Pebble Mine. I know that Palin likes to say one thing about these issues and do something else, but like I said, I haven't been following the news as of late since I've been outside enjoying the great summer we're having.

Alaska is pretty much an exploitable resource for the gov't/media/NWO, sad to say. However, I did notice a truck as I was driving through town that had a Ron Paul sticker and, to my great surprise, a 9/11 was an inside job sticker. Glad to see that there are others who have woken up in my state. Cool

I volunteered for the gubernatorial campaign in Fairbanks in 98 for Lindauer, only because of the unsourced vitriol in the papers.  (I was more anti-media than for anyone)  I got to watch how Lindauer won the primary for the republican ticket then the loser (Murkowski) who started a harsh smear campaigned and divided all of the state's republicans.  Then I watched the Lindauer Fairbanks HG manager (a$$whole actually has a tattoo of the rep. elephant) stab all of our efforts by joining the Murkowski group.

Of course Knowles won, and continued to do the sterilizations of wolves at $600.00 per wolf.

Palin seemed like a useful idiot/distraction to spice up the presidential race a bit but lock up the victory for Obama.

I am sure there was some dirt on her somewhere--you don't make it that far in politics if you can't be bought and blackmailed.

Still, I always hesitate to celebrate when a politician gets destroyed in the media (if that's indeed what's about to happen). It usually means they at least stood up for one thing good that the NWO didn't like (ie. Spitzer, possibly Blagoyavich, probably Sanford). They're all compromised and corrupt, but some of them aren't fully on board with the NWO agenda.

She has taken a walk into the caverns of power, been witness to the abominations and perpetrators of the same.
Had she sold out, that would be another tale.

I can not say much about the Gal, but I have freinds who know her and I can only make an oppinion by their feelings, she is a decent human being. I do know she took a beating from the MSM over and over again.

One thing this regime and the former ones have taught me is that when an invent takes place such as this one there are other factors involved, or simply put, the power mongering pyscos, sociopathic Mafia do not take to her.

How they have conviced her to throw in the towel is sheer speculation, the masters have many methods of intimidation, more than even we are aware of. I would not put that on a back burner.

You know, I was part of a demonstration for King County on the insecurity of electronic vote machines. Thankfully they dropped the boxes but then did the backasswards move of making everyone vote by mail.

Yeah, reeeeeal secure.  Roll Eyes
