Now it's obvious why the show has never been released on DVD and no longer airs in repeats in the U.S. (Repeats aired on TNN/Spike from September 2000 until shortly after the 9/11 attacks.)

If you think the board could get in trouble with the copyright police for having the RS links up, then please do not hesitate to remove the links. (In that case, I would forward the links to Jones and Watson for expert analysis.)

Excellent find!

I watched every episode during its short, 2 year run, but for some reason, I do NOT remember the final 2 part one.(partly b/c the 2nd season just got so stale and boring, that my mind wandered through much of them - I still watched it b/c "Walker, Texas Ranger" came on right after that)

Thanks again! Smiley

was it a highly rated show?

If it was just a forgettable show then it makes sense why it was never released on DVD.

It only lasted 2 seasons(1998 - 2000).

The first season was ALOT of fun, and I believe it had good ratings. It preceded "Walker, Texas Ranger" on the "Eye" network on Sat nights, which is why I watched it. However - for some reason, they revamped the writing team et al, and season #2 got INCREDIBLY boring and stale. The 1st season ended with a cliffhanger, but they even wrote THAT off come the following season. I still watched it b/c it preceded "Walker...", but my mind ended up wandering b/c it got so bad.

Actually the first season had very good ratings. In fact, the show won "Best New Series" at the TV Guide Awards for the 1998-1999 season.

Oh, I should point out that the first episode of season 2 titled "Sammo Blammo" centered around Sammo Law having a bomb strapped to his chest. There is a script available on Lee Goldberg's site for that episode.

IIRC, they even tried to retool Kelly Hu's character into "the next Emma Peel". Needless to say, it didn't work. Grin

Never heard of it, why on earth would anyone choose such a ridiculous and irrelevant topic for a brain-jello twinky sitcom?

They shouldn't make sitcoms about topics like that, Bush probably thought it was reality TV!

Was it about Russia?

Check the whole discussion. It's about the final episode which foreshadowed 9/11.

Also - FWIW too, in "Walker, Texas Ranger"'s series finale in 2001, Walker found out that one of the prisoners that escaped from prison(from the big group that his team caught throughout the show's tenure), poisoned their good buddy CD Parker in a bio attack from a 1999 episode.
